Does anyone else get these suggested articles? They make me so mad, all the time, for various reasons. I don't click them anymore because I want to stop getting them. So to be fair, I haven't read this one. Specifically what I'm mad about this time is the beginning of the title: "After Fans Begged Kohei Horikoshi To End Manga..."

Do people not get how manga works? Each chapter is drawn, colored, and lettered individually. You are getting anywhere from 7-16 pages every week if you're lucky. That's not a lot! "It's taking too long"? Look at how it translates into an anime season. It's not all that fucking long actually! But the process is!

We are blessed enough to be able to get chapters every week because of technology. Before? You used to have to wait for the magazine or the actual physical copy of the manga to release. But because we are all about instant gratification, we've become ungrateful. But let me tell you: YOUR impatience should not have any sway or effect in the timeline of content creation. If it's taking too long for you, move on and come back when it's finished. Leave Hori alone. At the end of the day it's his story, not ours. We're just lucky that 1) he decided to share it and 2) that he met the right people to make it happen and what it is today.

Grow up.

I remember being so distraught when we thought Hirotsu and Gin died, and then when it's revealed that Tachihara was the perpetrator, i was literally like "nvm theyre fine. That's his family, he wouldn't kill them no matter what" and i was right.

#i was on the fence about him going back to the mafia‚ but i KNEW that he would never kill Hirotsu and Gin #Tachihara's entire character is based on family ties and loyalty. he loved his brother so much‚ he joined the mafia to get revenge for him #even if he hated being compared to him. and this was YEARS prior to the series #the Black Lizard squad IS his family. even if he didn't plan it when he first infiltrated the mafia #and their family bond is even brought up in an omake‚ when the squad has to take care of a baby during the Moby Dick attack #so when it's revealed that Tachihara was behind Hirotsu/Gin's wounds‚ i was immediately like ''oh they're fine'' #bc they're his family. he even keeps the hunting dogs at arms length‚ and doesn't treat them like he treats the black lizard squad #which is something that I noticed pretty quickly when reading the manga #he gets mildly annoyed at Teruko but doesn't like. actually DO anything about it #meanwhile he and gin get annoyed at each other and immediately point weapons at each other and act like delinquents #he and gin bicker and fight more like siblings than gin and her ACTUAL brother #anyway sorry for the rambling in the tags. i love tachihara‚ i love that he's the first to break the rules of the Book‚ i love his loyalty #i love his silly bandaid and his unnecessarily complicated revenge plot that his brother would definitely sold him for #bsd #bsd tachihara #tachihara michizou #bsd 4 #bungo stray dogs #bungou stray dogs

I know it’s genuinely not his fault since there’s other unforeseen factors, but watching the recent jjk episode really brings to light the unintended consequences of megumi doing literally anything in the manga. Saves yuuji—>sukuna is reincarnated. Summons Mahoraga—>the city is destroyed by sukuna to nullify it. Stays with yuuji in the culling games—>sukuna takes over megumi’s body and kills people he loves. Doesn’t consider tsumiki being a reincarnated sorcerer—>sister dies

One Punch Man is still one of the funniest manga/anime out there cuz like it's shown to look like an epic superhero type of story like DC or Marvel comics and it's drawn and animated super well and it's just like so cool looking and then you meet the main character who looks like an egg with this deadass expression who punches people so hard that they fucking explode on impact and it's lowkey hilarious.

I actually much prefer a lot of how studio VOLN is handling Blue Exorcist over A-1, I know not a popular opinion in areas and get the places people say looks off but the vibes and heart is so good? also there is a lot of amazing shots and imo calling Rin "ugly" in it is an exaggeration to me, there's some wonky shots but there's also SO MANY he looks great! I think sometimes people forget that A-1 had equally bad shots and design choices like I think a lot are looking at the older seasons through rose colored glasses personally! not to mention they ruined a lot of scenes and how they changed them/adjusted them in their adaption that to me affected characterization and making some of the cast look almost dumb in a situation the manga version shows was more serious and dire!

ultimately my view has been: I'd rather an adaption feel like the heart is in the right place and the characters feel like themselves vs everything being pretty all the time and would rather deal with a few wonky shots of characters over a bad representation of a story and characters I love! visuals are not the only thing that matters to me ever

I get it but to me it just doesn't matter as much compared to what I like #that they are handling in this season! plus smaller studio really does make me feel they are more likely to adapt further #but yeah just my thoughts mainly everyone is free to feel how they want in the end though #no one is more or less a fan of this series based on their criticisms of an adaption! especially when it comes from a place of love #and just wanting to see a series you love get adapted and treated well when it is! so please don't take my view as an attack on anyone #that sees it differently! everyone is valid in their opinions even if I don't agree on everything! #all that matters to me is the dance with me Shiemi scene was perfect and beautiful haha #and SHIEMI LOOKS THE PRETTIEST SHE EVER HAS ANIMATED #not at all sorry to say I do not like how A1 did Shiemi's design they did my girl dirty in season 1 and season 2 something was off at times #as well! so I'm glad season 3 is treating her right! both character wise and design! plus them actually changing her kimonos and stuff YESS #she feels so much more like manga!Shiemi now and I'm happy! what my girl deserves! #grace rambles #personal
