It's finally here, my gift for @alwaysdrowninginfeels for the @knbexchange event 🤍

I decided to go with ImaKasa and Coffee Shop AU (well, it's not really a coffee shop, more like a café/bar)! This was my first time drawing Imayoshi as well as my first time actually thinking about this ship. I got really into it sooo I decided to make a little comic! ☕️ I also decided to try something different from my usual art style, something a little simpler and with less bold colors... Had a lot of fun working on this and I am pretty happy with how it turned out! I hope you will like it, too! 🤍

I hardly talk about midorima so ets talk about about why I adore him. and how I relate.

you see, im a try hard. but instead im not a try hard in sports. but academically? mhmmhm. most people know me for studying a lot. getting good grades to the point where I can’t worry and people will shrug it off. sure, I like people viewing me as smart. sure, who wouldn’t ? but it’s just a odd feeling at times.

midorima tries hard. and he gets irritated when others done try their best. this trait shown when the teiko team stopped going to practice and how they began to treat the games as a contest. he didn’t want to partake in something like that. he’s doing everything he can to win, including spending hours practicing.

his choices are hardly ever risky. only time he’s shown to take a risk is with that iconic shot in the match against rakuzan, even then, he believed. he believed in takao, his shadow.

they’re similar to kagami and kuroko, but different.

he hates when people don’t put in their most effort, as I do. I despise when people slack off and don’t try as hard as they can. it’s irritating. why show up if you’re not gonna try your hardest? my biggest gripe is when people in more “advanced” classes don’t try. why are you there then? you’re good enough to get here, so why aren’t you trying?

maybe my views are black and white. maybe im sick of people complaining over poor grades when they don’t try. Or never taking things seriously until it’s too late. im.
