finally making my way to watching batman the animated series and the episode never fear really really really resonates w me. tim doubting batman's control, tim seeing him slowly starting to spiral, tim literally stopping him from killing someone, tim having to tie batman up in order to follow his mission properly, tim being batman's voice of reason, batman needlessly endangering tim due to his lack of control. i know this series absolutely butchers tim drakes background & makes him some amalgamation of timmy & jason but even still. it's so good.

Sometimes I think about how we have audio of Kevin Conroy saying “Dick” and “Tim” in BTAS, but none of the other Robins’ names, and it makes me kind of melancholy. And then I remember that he does say the name “Jason,” in BTAS and Justice League, when talking to Jason Blood, and I feel a little better. Like at least we know what that name sounds like in the voice of the only Batman that matters

Let it be known that Harley Quinn was an invention of Batman: The Animated Series, and Arleen Sorkin is the voice who brought the character to life.
Batman fans owe a lot of this character to her, and I may her memory be a blessing.
(Thank you @wild-mare-of-prosecution for letting me know the importance of the line "May her memory be a blessing.")

Goodbye Arleen Sorkin. thank you for helping give us this absolute legend of a character.
Like a lot of people. Batman the Animated Series was a big influence on me and seeing the passing of Kevin Conroy and Arleen Sorkin feels like an extreme loss. Thankful for all the amazing stories they gave us.
