Im obsessed with Fama(408) Persona Charts they will tell you sooo much! For example the microbiologist Alexander Fleming whos known for his discovery of penicillin, which started the antibiotic revolution. He got asteroid Aesculapia(1027) (Aesculapius was the god of medicine) conjunct Ascendant in his Fama Persona Chart.

There is nothing like the eyecontact between you and the person you have Pluto conjunct Ascendant in the composite chart with. 🥵

Dejanira(157) is a very sad asteroid but when its conjunct a planet like Mars it can make a person refuse to be a victim. It can make someone fight back hard even at the slightest sign of being victimized.

People with Venus Conjunct Chiron usually blow up and become extremely famous because people have a sensitive (Chiron) reaction to their beauty(Venus). For example: Sydney Sweeney, Ice Spice, Ana De Armas, Marilyn Monroe.

One thing Ive noticed with my Lilith 3rd house friend is that shes good with coming up with something to say FAST. If she sees that someone have a hard time answering something or that someone is embarressing someone she will quickly jump in and fix the situation to help that person.

Venus sextile Ascendant is an underrated aspect. These people seem to be able to turn their charm on and off. Ive also noticed it to be a natural beauty indicator. They have the Venus qualities without the vanity.

As someone with Moon in the 11th house I dont get how people can exist without social media. And Ive noticed this with other 11th house Moons too.

Sun conjunct Lilith & Leo Lilith can indicate a weird relationship with attention. They NEED it but for the wrong reasons. Might do weird or shocking things for shockfactor. Might be jealous of people who get too much attention. But some people with this placement (especially if they have 10th house placements) can get wayyyy too much attention to the point its scary, for example Kim Kardashian & Britney Spears.

Batsheba(592) conjunct Sun/Ascendant might experience being pursued a lot and aggressively.

I dont think Ive ever gotten so much attention from men as the year I had Venus in the 10th house in the solar return chart and transit Lilith conjunct my natal Ascendant. It was crazy.

Im not shocked by P Diddy having Karma(3811) conjunct Mars in his chart. If you have this aspect Karma might take her time but WHEN she comes, she means business.

Tiktoker and model Kenz Lawren have Lilith in the 10th house which is probably why she challenges the model industry so much (which I love). Shes also a Scorpio Rising with Venus in the 8th house so she loves to show the raw truth instead of hiding all flaws. 👑

Neptune/Moon 1st housers yall need to learn to protect your energy. Dont go to certain places if you feel uncomfortable there. Dont let people tell you ”just go there” because your energy is so much more sensitive. Its not being ”weak” its protecting your peace. Im not saying yall should lay in bed all day but if nightclubs makes you uncomfortable bc of all the noise and strangers then dont let people call you boring for not going there.

If you have Chiron in the 9th house people might constantly be on your back about your cultural background. For example Jessica Alba who have this placement and she said shes been told shes too latina for certain roles and too white for the latina roles etc. Hollywood was constantly nitpicking everything she did during her prime to make it look like she disliked other mexicans no matter what she did. She also have Mars in the 9th house which I think makes it worse.

I think I need some more treatment for my lingering post partum depression. PPD can be so brutal. Its as if you have a continuous blanket over your head and no matter what you cannot shrug it off. Makes everything in life seem bad and hopeless.

 I am also finally taking a 5 day vacation after 2 years! Hoping that will help me! Will post pictures 😃

I've got waaaaaaaaaay more to say than will fit in a standard reply, so…

Not gonna lie, Planet Zoo has a learning curve. Quite a steep one, in fact. There are so many aspects to it. There's acquiring animals and managing them and building habitats for them (they all have specific requirements) and breeding them for good genes while avoiding inbreeding. There's building staff and guest facilities and managing staff and guest needs. There's designing the zoo layout as a whole. There's a research tree to unlock stuff relating to the animals as well as different aspects of the zoo, like better power generation as well as different styles of building pieces. And much more.

It's a lot, frankly, and I'm still learning. It does have a mode called Career Mode, where you play guided scenarios. The early scenarios serve as a half-assed (at best) tutorial. The good news is that there are a lot of good videos and tutorial playlists on YouTube made by various people. I've learned the most from these three YouTubers, so I'm linking to the first episode of each of their tutorial playlists, but all of them have lots of other videos, too.

You can watch a bit before buying the game to help you decide if it's for you. I'll warn you that if you get everything, it adds up to a tidy amount of money. But, it usually goes on sale on Steam's summer and winter sales, and you can buy bundles that way for not too much money. (I got the "Ultimate Bundle," during the summer sale last year, which was the base game plus all the DLCs up to the time I bought it, for I think about 80USD, which was more than half off. The DLCs are 10USD each normally and they usually come with about five new animals as well as a buuuuuunch of stuff for building/decorating.) Also, two of the above linked YouTube creators have affiliations to Instant Gaming that will give you a good discount any time on the base game and DLCs.

As for the building, specifically…It can be very easy. The game comes with blueprints, which are pre-built things that you can just plunk down wherever. They include everything from staff and guest buildings to different climbing frames for arboreal animals to full habitats for all kinds of animals. Many of them are pretty nice-looking, even. You can also download tons of player-made blueprints from the Steam workshop for the game if you get the game via Steam...or even if you don't, if you know some tricks. So, if you go that route, you hardly do any building at all. It's all just figuring out a layout for your zoo (and that can be hard, since you start with just a big, blank plot of land and a pre-built entryway building) and then plunking down blueprints and getting right into the animals.

However, much like in Sims games, I like to build for myself, and the system in PZ is frankly amazing. I wish the Sims games were like it. It can be very, very fiddly, especially if you're a perfectionist, but it's also amazing. You have the "basic" pieces which are wall, floor, and roof pieces made of many different materials and that have different shapes, like for making curved walls. These snap to an adjustable-size grid and form the basis of a building. But from there, there are hundreds (thousands, if you have DLCs) of pieces that don't snap to a grid (but there are controls for them so you can line things up properly, for instance). The pieces that don't snap to the grid can all be moved laterally in all three dimensions as well as rotated on all three axes, and can be used as, for instance, trims on buildings, so you have complete freedom with them and you can do really creative things to decorate your buildings and habitats. This is why I can spend many hours building one frickin' barn. LOL

Everything is keyboard-and-mouse, as the game is currently PC-only, though it's rumored that it's coming to consoles soon. There are many hot keys pre-assigned, and everything is easily controlled with a mouse.

There are lots of modes to the game, the main one being franchise mode, which starts you with a limited amount of money and is connected to an online server. Animals are traded between players. It can be hard because many players set frankly ridiculous prices on the animals they sell, but it's part of the challenge of the mode. There's a challenge mode, which is basically the same as franchise only not online, so if you don't want to deal with ridiculous players and/or can't/don't want to play with the internet turned on, you can. In that, all of the animals you can buy are created by the game, not other players. There's "career" mode I mentioned. There are timed scenarios, which I've never played so I don't know what they're like. Annnnnnd there's the sandbox mode, which has no money limits and no research requirements (unless you impose them on yourself) and has all sorts of controls that you can use to customize your experience. There are always four of every animal (two of each sex) available in the market, which as in the challenge mode are game-generated. (Game-generated animals generally have sucky genes.)

So, yeah, I love the game, and would highly recommend it, especially if you like to build stuff and, of course, like animals. Definitely watch some of the videos I linked, though, because they'll give you a better idea of what the game is like.

1. Are you named after anyone? No, my first name was a pretty common French one in the period I was born. My second and third names come from my godmother (who was also my grandmother, bless her soul) and godfather (who is also my uncle and who I heartily dislike).

2. When was the last time you cried? I’m beyond crying but I had tears in my eyes 2 weeks ago when my therapist told me I needed to take a break from work and rest.

3. Do you have kids? I wish that question was not randomly thrown at people. It’s very personal and can be a sensitive topic.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? When I’m angry/annoyed. In everyday life, it’s less insulting to use irony.

5. What sports do you play/have you played? I’m utterly uninterested in sport. I hate sweating, I hate competition and I never understand the rules. When I was a teen, I did some tennis and a wee bit of horseriding. Nowadays I just do yoga by myself.

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Incidentally, I was asked the same question for the employee interview at my work. Here’s my reply:

Whatever is the most noticeable thing about that person at that moment. Aren’t people like puzzles? You start with one piece that catches your eye, not necessarily the most useful, but then you gradually build up the bigger picture.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings, definitely. There are enough scary and sad things in the real world, why would I want to see that replicated in fiction too?

8. Any special talents? Not that I know of.

9. Where were you born? Brussels, Belgium.

10. What are your hobbies? These days, it’s mostly reading (about 70 books a year and I’m a slow reader) and writing (that encompasses this little thing called Sims storytelling, you may have heard of it? It is quite time-consuming.). Also, daydreaming about said story (that takes a SHITLOAD of time).

11. Do you have any pets? A big black doggo with big brown eyes and the energy of twenty rabid gerbils.

Yeah, Saffy can be very acid-tongued. He probably deserved the wake up call but Saffy can count herself very lucky he didn't snap or do something as drastic as Stephanie.

Liam was always doomed by his poor life decisions and victim mentality. I'm also thinking that it was possible he had affairs as a passive-aggressive form of revenge, but didn't count on falling so heavily for Saffy. In any case, I think he got what he deserved.

Winter 08: Dateless - Pt.2 (13/64)

When we stepped outside after dinner, Alfie spotted the ice skating rink at the square and asked me if I wanted to skate. I like ice skating,  so I agreed.

After a while, Alfie asked me if I wanted to do a spin with him. I felt a bit weird holding his hands, but it was quite fun.

Well, until we fell, haha, but I guess even that was funny.

At that point, I was getting cold, so I told him I should be heading home. He insisted on walking me home, which was nice. We talked some more on the way home. He told me about all his travels as a child with his mum, who writes travel guides. I almost felt a bit jealous, haha.

He hugged me when we said goodbye.

I liked Alfie and we had a good time. I didn't really get that butterfly feeling, but he's nice and I think we could at least be friends. Maybe more? I don't know yet.

Gameplay notes: Alfie rolled the wish to be friends with Rachel instantly. She didn’t, but she kept initiating friendly interactions with him. Spinning together on the ice was Alfie’s autonomous idea. And while I sort of expected shy Rachel to refuse, she didn’t. Upon saying goodbye, they had reached the “friend” stage and the “friendly hug” was accepted by both. Attraction Score: 7.
