Battlefield V

Multiplayer in der Kritik

Was ist gut? Bislang habe ich kaum etwas gefunden, was mich an diesem Computerspiel im Multiplayer Modus fesselt. Eher ist der schnelle plötzliche Tod der vielfache Begleiter bei den Einsätzen.

Kurze Anmerkungen zum "Novizen-Auftakt" einige Multiplayer Modi:

WÖCHENTLICHE MISSIONEN: hier bin ich schnell vermehrt Opfer geworden, so macht mir das keinen Spaß.

KRIEGSGESCHICHTEN: habe ich absolviert. Die fand ich ganz gut.

ÜBEN: [Übungsgelände, Grundausbildung] abgespeckte Grundlagen (keine Heilung von Kameraden, keine Übergabe von Medipacks an Kameraden, keine Hinweise auf „Verteidigung bauen“); Schießübung OK, Flugübung scheitert, da ich nach dem Abheben nach wenigen Sekunden die Warnung erhalte, dass ich bereits das Operationsgebiet verlasse; auch wenn ich schnell beidrehe, ist alles bereits gescheitert; wer denkt sich so was aus?

FEUERSTURM: in der Option „Solo“ bekomme ich keine Spiel nach 4:20 Min. angeboten, was soll das? Serverprobleme?

COMBINED ARMS (1-4 Spieler): hier bekomme ich leider keine Teamkameraden (wie z.B. bei Titanfall 2 Grenzlandverteidigung). In den Aufträgen komme ich z.T. bis zum Schluß und dem letzten Schritt „Abholpunkt“. Diesen soll ich (allein) verteidigen. Es gibt kein Tutorial, was erklärt, wie man das mit dem Werkzeugkoffer macht. Gegen eine totale Übermacht bin ich total verloren; diese Missionen scheitern immer.

Multiplayer: als Anfänger lande ich auf einer komplexen Karte; grüne und blaue Icons meiner Kameraden (2 Fraktionen???); Gegner sind rot symbolisiert; man kann die gegnerische Situation kaum mal in Ruhe beobachten, alles stürmt drauf los (wohin?); schnell wird man Opfer von Sniper Schützen; manchmal wird man von Kameraden geheilt, ansonsten muß man sich wieder neu ins Spiel absetzen lassen; alles sehr unbefriedigend.

Fazit:

Die 5 Solokampagnen [grundsätzlich als kleine Stories aus meiner Sicht gut gelungen], bereiten den Spieler aber nicht oder nur wenig auf die Anforderungen im Multiplayer vor. iI Solo Modus musste man sich anschleichen und so etwas taktisch vorgehen. Im Multiplayer geht das nach meinen ersten Eindrücken so gar nicht. Das andauernde Scheitern ist sehr unmotivierend. Dabei entwickelt sich kein Interesse eines „Aufenthaltes“ in dieser virtuellen Welt.

Zugegeben, ich mag grundsätzlich auch keine Multiplayer Games, die mich zu schnell ins Jenseits befördern. Einzige Ausnahme: Titanfall 2 mit dem Multiplayer Modus "Grenzlandverteidigung". Hier halte ich mich bereits über 200 Stunden auf. Die Chancen auf Erfolg sind gut, das Aufleveln von Ausrüstung sind ebenso motivierend umgesetzt.

Nach 24 Spielstunden habe ich "Battlefield V" wieder deinstalliert. Es macht mir leider überhaupt keinen Spaß. Vielleicht ist auch an der Kritik der Community etwas wahr (vgl. Steam und die Kommentare zu "Battlefield V"). Hier wird auf die vielen Cheater verwiesen, die das Spielen sehr eintrüben. Die Designarbeit finde ich komplex und gut, aber die Multiplayer Battles gar nicht. Aber das ist ja alles Geschmacksache.

Story concept 14:The theater of war

The year was 2047, and the OASIS was the only place where people could escape the harsh realities of the real world. Among the countless worlds and zones that the OASIS offered, there was one that attracted millions of spectators and participants every day: the Theater of War. It was a planet-sized battlefield that recreated the most iconic scenes and locations of the two world wars, from the trenches of Verdun to the beaches of Normandy. Two clans, the Old Guard and the New Order, competed for glory and honor by fighting each other with weapons and vehicles from different eras. The Old Guard favored the weapons and tactics of World War I, while the New Order preferred those of World War II. The battles were chaotic, brutal, and spectacular, and the stakes were high: the winner of each match would claim a portion of the planet’s resources and territory, while the loser would have to pay a hefty fee and face humiliation. The Theater of War was the ultimate test of skill, strategy, and courage, and the most popular attraction in the OASIS.

The Old Guard and the New Order had been rivals for years, ever since the Theater of War was created by an anonymous OASIS user who called himself the Warlord. The Warlord had designed the planet with a complex system of rules and rewards, and had invited anyone who wanted to join the war games. The Old Guard and the New Order were among the first clans to accept the challenge, and soon became the most dominant and influential forces on the planet. They had fought hundreds of battles, each one more epic and intense than the last, and had developed a fierce and mutual respect for each other. But they also had a burning desire to prove themselves as the superior clan, and to claim the ultimate prize: the Warlord’s secret vault, which was rumored to contain a fortune in OASIS credits and rare items. The vault was hidden somewhere on the planet, and could only be opened by the clan that controlled the majority of the planet’s territory. The Old Guard and the New Order were locked in a stalemate, each holding about half of the planet, and neither willing to give up an inch. The war was far from over, and the next battle could be the decisive one.

The Warlord had left behind a final challenge for the clans: two keys that could unlock his vault, but only when used together. The keys were hidden in two different locations on the planet, and each clan had managed to find and secure one of them. But neither clan could access the vault without the other’s key, and neither clan was willing to share or trade their key. The only way to get the other key was to take it by force, and that meant more war. The keys became the ultimate objective of the war games, and the clans fought with even more ferocity and determination to get them. The keys also became the ultimate symbol of the clan’s identity and pride, and the clans guarded them with their lives. The keys were the key to victory, and the key to the Warlord’s legacy.
