I hate seeing trans-autistic posts. No I don't mean people who are trans and autistic, I mean the people who think they can transition to be autistic. You cannot. You are either born with autism or you do NOT have autism. Autism is a disability and not something that's just a personality quirk. The line you get when you play a bard as Durge and contemplate your craft is giving me so many feels. There's no joy in their art, just the steady beat of the call for blood stirring within.

My bard Durge, Ashe, would be SO jealous that Orin finds joy in her art and can even bring herself to present her corpses in pretty ways in offering. Ashe knows Bhaal doesn't care for beauty, so she plays her part, but she remains jealous of Orin's ability to freely enjoy artistry outside slowly cutting someone to pieces. Her envy made her blind to Orin's own jealousy & plotting, but it also freed Ashe from living her life to be loved, to be favored, by Bhaal.

Ashe found beauty in her craft again after escaping the nautiloid. It wasn't immediate, but it was like someone burnt out on art suddenly getting inspiration again. It just took being able to see and appreciate beauty in the world, even if those moments are accompanied by the Urges whispering to conquer, to devour, to kill.

Does any other therian get upset when they see one of their theriotypes get drawn not anatomically correct? For example I tend to get upset when I see people draw bats and their wings protrude out of their back, because I know that their wings are their arms and hands. And I know it can be seen as something petty to get upset at, but it just genuinely irritates me, as a bat therian. This could also potentially be a special interest thing as well because bats are also a special interest of mine I guess.
