hey does anyone know why skills happen in dancebattles? are they just random?? why do the opponents skills activate so much more often then mine :(

im trying to 3 star all the levels rn but even with 60K more power these little shits activate their fun blue skills (blue skills attack the other team, like 'stun' 'zombie' or the sleepy one etc.) ITS SO UNFAIR

Why it would work:

You like spooky things? So does she. Mey-Rin would love how you work with people during work and also really respect you for the job you have. Going off the fact that you’re a Virgo and some other things you mentioned, you seem like you’d be a very understanding person when it comes to other’s mistakes or mess ups and trust me when I tell you that she needs that. I believe that she’d love your relationship with people to begin with. Your competitive side would also be one of Mey-Rin’s favorite things about you.

Why it wouldn’t work:

Now as kind and understanding as you are, you would (as anyone would) lose some patience when it comes to how many messes this sweet woman makes. Yes she’s lovely but that doesn’t mean she’s not prone to making mistakes so it’s very likely that it will cause some bickering. She’s also extremely protective and as much as she may appreciate you, it can get a little too much. You mentioned being a mom friend and on top of being a Virgo, it’s fair to assume you tend to worry about others quite a bit and due to Mey-Rin’s line of work, the amount of worry is very high which won’t be good for either of you.

Why it would work:

The first thing that would catch his eye is how well you work with others. He’d also love how seriously you take your work and be happy about you being the mom friend. I can also see Finny liking your competitive self. He’d really like the idea of you talking about your favorite books as seeing you happy, would make him happy too. He’s also not the best at work so he’d feel a lot better when it comes to your kindness about it all.

Why it wouldn’t work:

Also very protective but a bit more than Mey-Rin. Trust me, if he’s more protective than Mey-Rin then it’s pretty overwhelming. He’s also yet another person who messes up a lot. Yet again a person to worry a lot about and although he’s strong, it can still be rather troubling when he gets reckless in a fight (which is often.)

Undertaker!

Why it would work:

You had him at funny. Not to mention your competitive and silly side will pull him in all the more. Undertaker would really like how you handle your work as well. Baking? He’d love that as the possibility of experiencing someone baking treats for him would bring him so much joy. As for your relationship with kids, he’d find that absolutely adorable.

Why it wouldn’t work:

Overly protective number three though this one has it a bit worse. It’s also quite interesting to find out all the little experiments he does so he will be very secretive which will not turn out so well. He’s the kinda guy to not fully appreciate a mom friend type s/o if we were to bring up the worries that come with such a title so a worried s/o to a man as secretive as he can be quite troublesome to experience.

I have a big soft spot for the mentorships. They're so neglected in canon that I really get to decide whatever I want it to be, and when I shuffle apprentices I'm always trying to do matchups that are particularly interesting.

Hey it’s the Stanley Cup Playoffs!

I know a lot of y’all have recently gotten or are currently getting into hockey and it’s the most exciting time of the year for fans, the Stanley Cup playoffs! Round 1 is almost over - three rounds to go. So I thought I’d do a lil catch-up, and hit me up with any hockey or playoff questions!

So how does this circus work?

The NHL playoffs are generally considered the hardest playoffs in sports. It is a four-round, best-of-seven tournament with the winning team playing as many as 28 games past the end of the 82 game regular season.

Seeding is determined as follows: sixteen teams (out of 32 in the NHL) make the playoffs. Standings are determined largely by point totals (in hockey a team gets 2 points for a win in regular, 1 point for a loss in overtime and zero points for a loss in regulation). Top three teams in each of the four divisions, and then each conference sends two wild card teams which can be from either of its two divisions. The #1 seed in the conference plays the #2 wild card team, the #2 seed plays the #1 wild card teams, and then each division’s #2 and #3 teams play each other. Home ice advantage goes to the higher point total. They play A-AA-BB-A-B-A, where A are games played in the higher seeded team’s arena, and B are games played in the other team’s arena. 

Best out of seven wins the round and advances.

So what’s happened so far?

Kind of a lot. Even before round 1 began these playoffs were weird, because for the first time in 17 years, the Penguins were not in them. They missed a wild card spot by one (1) point. They had the longest active post-season streak not just in hockey but in any major north american sport. So much for that. Also the Capitals didn’t make it, and it’s been awhile since we haven’t seen Ovechkin in the playoffs.

And then round 1 has been kind of chaotic. Three of the heavy hitters have already been eliminated: the Boston Bruins, who just had the best regular season literally in NHL history, were defeated by the lowest seeded Eastern team, the Florida Panthers, in game 7 in overtime. It was a stunning upset. In another upset, the two-year-old franchise Seattle Kraken defeated the defending Cup champions, the Colorado Avalanche, in game 7 last night. The other big news is that the Toronto Maple Leafs are advancing to round two for the first since 2004, defeating the recently two-time cup winning Tampa Bay Lightning. There’s only one matchup undecided, the Rangers vs the Devils, and game 7 is tonight (May 1). Second round will begin tomorrow.

So that’s what’s going on so far! I’m low-key rooting for the Rangers because I love Chris Kreider but I also hate Patrick Kane so the struggle is real. Also a former much-beloved Columbus player, Oliver Bjorkstrand, now plays for the Kraken and is ON FIRE in the playoffs so I’m rooting for him too.

i'm a creative person, pretty much good at anything that requires me to use my hands. when making decisions, what i think is smarter vs what i think is morally correct usually coincides, but when i need to pick one i tend to follow the moral rules i set for myself.

i have a strong sense of justice but as much as i want to stand up for my beliefs in in-person conversation i just hate confrontation or being involved in any conflict LMAO. i understand it's inevitable but i avoid it whenever i can.

i'm autistic so i'm a bit slow when processing social situations, i only realize something's off maybe hours after i had a bad interaction

Now this was a bit difficult because I believe that Bardroy, Mey-Rin and Finnian would all fall in love with you but in the end I picked Bard because I think he’d somehow appreciate your personality the most. Not only that but although I don’t think he would care about appearances when it comes to loving someone romantically but I think that he really really likes wavy/curly hair. Bard would love how efficient you are with everything and really enjoys your competitive nature. He will definitely view your friendly and goofy side as very attractive and would want to cook or bake with you sometime though due to his past efforts, it may not turn out so well.
