#took Grady to the vet yesterday for what I assumed was a dental infection #(bad breath and drooling) #turns out he has ulcerated areas on his tongue and neither vet who looked at him knew what could cause them like that #best guess is maybe an atypical presentation of a specific virus #so he's on antibiotics and steroids and hopefully that will take care of it #but the vet is concerned that bc it's all concentrated in one area and there's some discoloration that he could lose part of his tongue #which is not something a cat could manage without #so I'm just...I don't even know what #he's eating and drinking and playing and his bloodwork was good so keeping everything crossed that we caught it in time

just woke up from a horrible dream about my chemistry final tomorrow 😭
