Giving kindness generously is beautiful, but remember to reserve some for yourself. 💕 You deserve every ounce of compassion you share with the world. 🌈

The plants are watered, the house is cleaned dusted and vacuumed. Laundry is finishing up in the dryer, then I have to pack. I even made a little lunch.
Merry Christmas to everyone and happy holidays 🎄 may it be a nice easy time for everybody, I hope you all enjoy it whether it be with family, friends or just you and pets. I know it can be a hard time for some so if you get the holiday blues feel free to message me and I will cut out some time to do my best and cheer you up ❤️

I don't understand being mean just to do it why would you make fun of someone's clothes or hair or any part of the way they look? That's awful. Don't you know the reason we're here is to love and be kind to each other? It makes us happy to do that. Be kind please.

I don't know if quitting alcohol has something to do with this, but I am much calmer, forgiving, I don't hold grudges anymore and I am not vengeful. In the end, we are all human, having a human experience and should spread kindness. 🥺
alcohol strips you of your personality and ruins everything in your life

To the anonymous person who wrote me about placing a tag you do not like, lol I hear 👂 you. It was an honest mistake and I am still learning. I did not know certain people on tumblr get so heated over little things, but I apologize. I will do better next time. Hope you have a great rest of your week! 🙃

Almost everyone is going through something right now. So, have and show compassion, empathy, and respect to EVERYONE, and show up for the people that always show up for you by speaking life into them and checking in. It's not hard to do and it goes a LONG way. 🩷

May he rest in peace and may we remember him as the shining bright star he was. I was always taught to celebrate the life the person had; allow yourselves to process and mourn, but do not allow his radiance to be forgotten. My condolences to everyone affected by today's tragic news.

I’ve seen a few posts say “your disability is worse/nonexistent because all you do is lay around at home, doing nothing” or something along those lines. It’s really strange seeing that on my socials because I’m so not about that sermon. It’s also very strange to me that someone would feel like they could make a claim about someone else’s experience or current life situation. Every person’s experience is so nuanced and interwoven that narrowing down why someone does or feels something to even a few things is audacious. Our bodies are constantly doing thousands of things and all of it takes energy and that includes working through and around the different traumas and scars our mindbodies have. Each person has different needs emotionally and physically as well as different moral codes and goals. On top of that, people live with different societal responsibilities and oppressions, live in different environments, have different ways of processing. Tell another person why the way THEY are dealing with THEIR situation is wrong like, do you hear yourself? This is not to say that you should not give someone advice or offer suggestions but it is to say that you do not know what will solve someone else’s problems and do not know what it is like to be them and to think their reason for being the way they are is invalid is idiotic.
Our society is bad at rest so we are always tired. When we have days off we spend those days cleaning, checking social medias, working out, catching up on dramas, working outside etc and that is NOT resting for most of us. So by the time the weekend or vacation is over we are still tired. Sometimes we are so behind in our rest that we get sick or it takes days of barely doing anything “responsible” to start feeling human again. For many autistic and mentally ill people just being in a workplace surrounded by people is beyond exhausting because we’re constantly masking and doing the actual work our jobs hired us for while holding off mental breakdowns. So any time off isn’t just rest, it’s our minds healing themselves. Which takes more energy than resting does. And to be clear, mental exhaustion takes physical energy, it literally burns calories, you become tired because the effort to perform “normal” behavior is strenuous work. While all of this is going on, we are made to feel bad for not having something going on at all times whether that be the news in the background, a project you’re working on at home, a podcast, or something while also keeping up with your home duties. So to turn away from all of that and just sleep and eat and watch something silly and play with your cat is monumental effort but actually what you need to rest.
