I've created a spreadsheet to show which character says the episode title phrase (i.e. the words which form the name of that particular episode) in every episode of Wolf 359. do people even read his biography at least on Wikipedia? Man in his 72 years of life pretty much reshaped and changed entirety of Europe’s musical and social structure with his sheer passion and love.

he was a man passionate for music, he loved and he loved deeply.

he was bright in musical field, created many beautiful pieces, was kapellmeister for two decades and high key overseen entirety of musical community of Europe, was one of the most trusted and favored people for Joseph II, and even after Joseph’s death he still kept his position despite being his trusted man, he tutored brightest musicians of that era, he managed and organized frequent charity concerts for pensioners and orphaned children (he even argued with Mozart over former organizing his own concert of day of charity concert)

he was so respected and loved that his coffin was followed by a long procession made of court musicians and all musicians who were present in country at the moment

this man never had a bad bone in him, if anything if you read his biography he just followed his passion and just lived.

and that’s why him being remembered over that cursed rumor and eventually losing his health over it is extremely sad. and even after two decades of him being officially announced not responsible for it people still continue to believe in it.

so yes, man strived for good and brought it out in others too

I Am Afraid For This Man

That being said, I do actually have faith because other than the enderman kill in Double Life, he always lost his last life because another player killed him (EDIT: I was wrong, see end for note*) and I doubt anyone is going to be actively trying to kill him next session.

Here's a chart showing how many of each life color were still alive the session before Jimmy permadied compared to how many there are as of Secret Life Session 4:

I can't see anyone hunting him down when TWELVE greens are still left. By this time in every other season, there were 8, 9, 2, and 0 greens, respectively. This season is shaping up to be the longest of the life series yet but I'm guessing it'll be about 7 or 8 sessions.

Even ignoring the fact that the only other Red on the server is Jimmy's ally it would be actually genuinely cruel to intentionally take someone out of the series this early. No one would ever do that, no matter how funny it would be to ensure Jimmy gets out first.

In conclusion: I think the only way Jimmy gets out next session is via the environment and I have faith that he's got at least two more episodes left in him, knock on wood. (I use numbers to fuel my delusions)

*EDIT: Actually I forgot he permadied in Limited Life from simply walking off Bread Bridge of his own free will, my delusions will now fueled be by prayer and prayer alone

Melisandre and Howland Reed two sides of one discount Merlin coin. One side (Mel) is quite OP in terms of magical ability, is driven by a very desperate need to find and guide King Arthur in these perilous and dark times, but is rather incompetent at her job because she identifies the wrong dude as the king and when she meets the real one, is in too deep to change course. The other side (Howland) isn’t all that powerful as far as we know, but he actually knows who the king is and he actually knows where the king is and he could actually get to him quite easily….except he doesn’t. He instead chooses to help some other kid live his best surrogate King Arthur life while real King Arthur flounders and fucking dies. Really, both of them should be considered fail witch of all time since they do absolutely nothing to help poor Arthur Jon on his hero’s quest. And that’s why Bloodraven is the best because he knows who the king is, doesn’t give too much of a fuck just yet because he’s too busy helping his little brother, and yet he still finds time to terrorize and give cryptic but helpful advise while in the form of Arthur’s pet bird. Truly the wizard of all ages.

A while back, when there was concurrent ship discourse on Twitter and Tumblr, I started looking at the AO3 statistics for OFMD to get a sense of what the actual proportions are of different ships. The basic stats are pretty clear from the sorting sidebar:

However! There's a significant amount of overlap with some of these. Pete/Lucius and Jim/Olu are common side ships to Ed/Stede, for instance - 327 fics are tagged with only Ed/Stede and Pete/Lucius (23% of the Pete/Lucius tag), 195 fics are tagged with only Ed/Stede and Olu/Jim (14% of the Olu/Jim tag), and 749 fics are tagged with Ed/Stede, Pete/Lucius, and Olu/Jim (48% of the Pete/Lucius tag and 54% of the Olu/Jim tag).

It's also common for fics with Ed/Stede/Izzy to tag one or more of the two-person ships that make up the triad - 378 (27% of the Steddyhands total) include all four ships, and each of the side ships have 600-700 fics that overlap with Steddyhands in some way. As best as I can tell from careful inclusions and exclusions in the filters, there are 11,106 fics that are just Ed/Stede and not the other three, 1,113 that are just Ed/Izzy, 456 that are just Ed/Stede/Izzy, and 248 that are just Stede/Izzy.

So then I went in and tried to find the data for fics with each of the ships as the only pairing out of the group (italics indicate that the label wouldn't generate because the slice was so small, but this is the order they appear in in the chart):

However, I think this data gives a clearer picture of authorial priorities on AO3.

How much dialogue is in the AA Investigations Duology (in graphs)

I like graphs, so I made some graphs about the total amount of dialogue across the Ace Attorney Investigations duology (minor/oblique spoiler warning, although I put the graphs featuring AAI-2 below the cut to help prevent spoilers for anyone who's only played the first game)

AAI-1: 256,002 words

AAI-2: 316,930 words

AAI duology total: 572,932 words

For reference, that makes AAI-1 pretty comparable to AA3 in terms of total dialogue while AAI-2 is substantially more dialogue-heavy than any of the trilogy games.

Data source: I’m using a dataset that I put together pulling from the episode transcripts on the Ace Attorney wiki (which I did almost entirely via Python, but with a bit of manual cleanup). There’s bound to be some error resulting from that process, but the numbers should be pretty close. I'm specifically using the English transcripts, so the AAI-2 counts are based on the fan translation, fwiw

Word counts: The word counts are based on all dialogue from the episode transcripts EXCEPT for the green typewriter text (for scene transitions and Court Record updates) and any dialogue that appears as a pop-up gif rather than text in the dialogue box (e.g., “Objection!”).

Ok story time

I am making a temperature blanket. For those unfamiliar, it is a knitted or crocheted blanket in which colours are assigned to the temperature outside. Every day, you crochet/knit a certain amount in the colour that corresponds to that day's temperature.

I am creating this, rather strangely, for my physics teacher (he puts up with far too much of my bullshit and I have been assured by many people that a blanket is a reasonable gift). It's a nice gift, it's a representation of the year's climate, it's thoughtful.

Slight problem though.

It's 7'6" wide.

That's uhh... 2.3 meters... :/

This is a very reasonable gift and a lasting memory of putting up with my bullshit.
