Rhys has the most baffling nose I have ever attempted to draw it’s thin then it’s wide it’s long in profile but also kinda flat the bridge is concave but the tip points down but the nostrils are higher and every time I’m struggling with it and need a new ref it somehow looks completely different from my prev sketches!! The man has a new nose for every angle and I for one am SICK OF IT SIR.

#masky says #again its called SELF indulgence for a reason #im simple i like blind characters who use their blindness to their advantage #ozpin wouldnt be able to rely on ozymandias or any other past lives for sight since they'd need to use HIS body's senses to detect anything #no one can see. its a new experience for almost ever life i'd imagine #but ozpin's grown up without his sight so he knows how to navigate the scary world #hes not totally blind. he can see...vague shapes. very vague. #but thats it. #long memory works as a normal cane and ur usual blind cane #hes memorized beacon's halls along with the usual rush of students and which way they'd come and go to classes so he doesnt get lost in the #-rush if hes ever goin from one place to another alone #glynda usually sticks by his side to act as his guide if hes goin somewhere super crowded #tho i mostly like it cause the vibe of ozpin bein one of those characters who keeps their eyes closed all the time is a VIBE #hes still a top huntsman. hes still the headmaster. hes still one of ozma's many lives #but hes blind. thats all that changes and it changes nothing and also everything #qrow acting as a seeing eye bird when ozpin asks for his help #sitting on his shoulder and cawing if oz nearly bumps into a wall or someone #i know its not real evidence but i do like ozpin memorizing the feel of qrow's facial features #the scruff of his beard the way his skin dips in places where scars linger #he likes touching people hes very touchy. its the best way he knows to see in his own personal way #he wouldnt notice ruby's silver eyes. he'd need to be told later. glynda probably mentions it making ozpin interested even further in her- #-progress and acceptance into his academy

Being nb on T is cool in a lot of ways but it also feels deeply isolating because every tip and trick I look up online has to be followed by ftm for me to get any results and predictably, most of those results are for men. As in, people who find euphoria from things I do and things I don't specifically because it's manly. And I just get slapped with dysphoria from a different direction because I'm not a man and I'm actually looking for how to mitigate some of these changes, but there's not a space where I can look up nb tips or get gender neutral guidance. Looking up stuff about my body is either "flower wombyn fertility pink moon goddess" or, increasingly, "blood is manly and you're such a man for going through it every month, bro" and I hate it for my own experience even as I'm also very glad that trans men have increasing access to affirming language. Two things can be true.

#Sdk does trans stuff #I don't want facial hair #I was trying to look up electric razors to use because trying to use actual blades sounds exhausting #And it was wall to wall dudes being excited about their pubey looking beards (their words! Not mine) #And the tips were often for how to shape the hair or how to leave affirming stubble #And that is the exact opposite of what I want thanks #I got help from a couple friends but the whole experience is deeply isolating

#My household had me growing up super physically affectionate and just affectionate in general #we say I love you to eachother thousands of fucking times a day #but my step mom abused and scared me out of being able to be physically affectionate with my dad as often #like hugs and lil leaning against him on the couch cuddles #cause when I was around 15 she started telling me I wanted to fuck my dad #because I thought other people with beards were attractive #and she straight uo fucking said those words to me #and I KNEW she was fucking crazy #but it made me feel weird and fucked up about wanting to hug and chill with my dad as often #and we have Manny the doggie here #but hes not anywhere near the same kind of cuddle buddy as the dogs with my mom #and he sleeps in my dad and step moms room #and my mom and other dogs are still stuck in Texas to keep an eye on my great grandmas brain health #My step mom also used to FREAK the fuck out when me and my little brother would cuddle #she told us it was gross and disturbing and would yell at us #when literally he’d be sitting on top of my lap like in a criss cross shape on a chair #like hed try to make me phsycally uncomfortable by sitting on my legs weird to hurt them #and I would refuse to budge so then wed just both zone out on our phones or tv while he was on my legs #and shed LOOSE IT #so in combo with her #and my ex from 8th grade #Im really reallt fucked up when it comes to being able to be physically affectionate and I am so deeply touch starved from kt #it*
