Censorship can be funny sometimes, like in the music game Beatstar, where they have censored the song Misery Business by Paramore from "once a whore you're nothing more" to what genuinely sounds like "once a hole you're nothing more" which I think we can all agree, while not containing a sweary word, is significantly worse lol

Okay so the two things I am obsessed with right now are DHMIS and Beatstar (which is a little fun phone rhythm game) and so I put them together because I was listening to my Beatstar roster and thought “Huh, this could fit with DHMIS” and then thought “Huh, maybe Tumblr Dhmis People would like this”

Now mind you it does has a few unedited explicit songs like Cool for the Summer (that also make no sense at first but bear with me) so yeah, some swears, innuendos and all that

Explanation stuff below this link to it:

Anyways some explanations based on my personal arbitrary systems!

Some songs like Cool for the Summer have to be listened to with context to the show (So like “Got your mind on my body and your body on my mind” would refer to the trauma the characters get from seeing each other horribly mangled)

Others are based kind of on vibe like The Heinrich Maneuver and Sing by Ed Sheeran

And then most of them reference the show canon or fanon in title and/or lyrics

I’ve got a lot of example so yeah:

Circles: Referencing the time loops

Crystalised: “Don’t say I’ve been pushing you away…when you’re the one that I’ve kept closest…”

Mantra: Reference to the cult episode in Season 1

Clocks: Reference to Tony the Clock

You should see me in a crown: Reference to Leslie/Roy/Whatever Puppeteers with “I’m going to run this nothing town”

Where’s your head at: Reference to the main three’s loss of memory

Deal Wiv It: (From the Perspective of Red Guy, perhaps in the travel episode) “Walking through my old estate…I see my mates that ain’t my mates and they don’t wanna stay safe… they say ‘you’ve changed’…deal with it”

Cars: Reference to the Travel Episode in Season 2

Electric Feel: Reference to the Electricity episode in Season 2

Also also I only added the songs I liked myself. Sorry not sorry lol <3
