The Downfall of Nikita Dragun

Picture this: It’s the year 2018 and the beauty community is taking over YouTube. We have James Charles, Nikkie Tutorials, Jeffree Star and company (Nikita Dragun, Laura Lee, Gabriel Zamora, and Manny MUA). But we all know how south things went with Jeffrey *dramageddon 1* *cough* *cough*. And while they all went their separate ways Nikita was able to rise up and really able to establish a name in the beauty space with her up and coming beauty brand “Dragun Beauty”. There was the video of her infamous “Dragun Egg” with influencer/model/secret boyfriend? Michael Yearger, collaborations with big names like Bretman Rock, her own snapchat show, and being featured in Netflix’s “Hype House”. Nikita was on the up and up until… It all came crashing down in the most heart breaking way.

In and around 2021, Nikita began posting some really cryptic things on her social media such as laying out near a river dressed as Itachi Uchia and claims her family forced her into a mental health hospital. She even posted a video from the hospital bed showcasing off a big red scar across her abdomen. Clearly, Nikita was not in good spirits. After a social media break, Nikita would return to announce her Bipolar diagnosis and her struggles with mental illness. She was seemingly able to bounce back fairly quickly and was posting again as usual. But then the unthinkable happened…

In November 2022, news broke of Nikita acting erratically at a hotel in Miami running around topless in the pool and throwing a water bottle at hotel staff. Reports of Nikita being placed in a men’s prison spread like wild-fire igniting outrage and #justiceforNikita. However, the prison denied placing her in a men’s unit and stated she was placed in a private cell away from other prisoners. Then came the bizarre video with a Miami judge where Nikita giggles and laughs and blows a kiss towards the judge. Rumor has it that Nikita’s team abandoned her and that her fans bailed her out of jail.

Nikita then vanished from the internet only to recently return to announce she has an OnlyFans. To me, it seems like her team and the public have kind of given up on her. Her instagram follower count just dipped to under 9 million and Dragun Beauty appears to no longer exist. When I try to go to the site it appears the domain has expired. All in all it looks like Nikita hit the nail in the coffin and who knows when she’ll be resurrected. What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them. Comment down below.
