“Earth to Chloe.”

Chloe blinks, seemingly snapping out of her daze. “Huh?”

“Where’d you go?” Beca asks, cocking an eyebrow.

They’ve been talking about choreography for their new number, Beca noticing Chloe’s blank look a few seconds into her suggestion.

“You okay?”

“Y-yeah. Um..” She fiddles a bit with the corner of her notebook. “I should probably tell you– I have epilepsy.”

Beca’s brow furrows. “Like… seizures?”

BECHLOE FANDOM I need help 😭 there’s a fic a couple of years old, I can’t remember the exact details of it or the name but Chloe and Beca were in some kind of mental hospital or institution, I think Beca was suicidal, I really can’t remember but I know Chloe was a law student and I know there is a Call Me Crazy fic but I do not believe that is it, none of them are psychiatrists, and the story ends with Chloe winning her first ever case. If someone can help me that would be fantastic cause I’m dying to re-read it and I can’t find it anywhere 😭😭😭😭😭

Day 4 - (Not a) Fire and Rescue

Prompt from FanFiction User Smart Owl: Firefighter AU: I went a little bit off prompt; I hope you like what I did with it.

NOTE: See the end for the full prompt.

Beca Mitchell swallowed hard as she stared down at the street six floors below.

“Damn cat,” Beca muttered, looking to her right to see the gray bundle of fur sitting on the ledge, staring at her. “Lexie, get back in here!”

The cat stared back at Beca before standing and following the ledge around the corner of the building.

Beca jerked her head back, smacking it against the open window.

“Fuck!” Beca cried out, rubbing the back of her head.

Beca hurried away from the window and went to her bedroom to see if she could see where Lexie went.

Lexie was sitting outside the bedroom window looking in at Beca. Beca moved slowly to the window and opened it.

“Come on, Lexie,” Beca said. “I have treats, but you have to come back inside to get them.”

Lexie’s ears and tail twitched. She turned and started walking along the ledge, back toward the front of the building. Without thinking, Beca climbed out onto the ledge; immediately realizing it was a mistake.

She closed her eyes and chanted, “Don’t look down. Don’t look down.”

She felt something touch her face and jerked her head back and opened her eyes. Lexie sat in front of her, staring at her with their noses just inches apart. Beca was startled when Lexie jumped onto her back. Beca could feel her walking down her back and suddenly she wasn’t there. When Beca looked back, she saw that Lexie had jumped back inside the apartment.

“At least one of us is safe,” Beca muttered as she thought of her next move.

A sudden gust of wind blew, causing Beca to panic slightly. She scooted forward and wedged herself into the corner with her back to the wall.

~~ Day 4 of the 25 Days of BeChloe Christmases - 2020 ~~

Beca managed to get her phone out of her pocket without dropping it. She placed the call.

“9-1-1, what’s your emergency?” The 911 operator said.

“Um, yeah,” Beca said. “I need a fire truck with a long-assed ladder that can reach the sixth floor of an apartment building.”

“What’s the address?” the 911 operator asked

“1960 Pine Street.”

“Is there a fire?” the 911 operator asked. “Are you trapped in your apartment?”

“No,” Beca replied. “I’m outside my apartment on the ledge, six stories up and I’m having a slight panic attack.”

“Stay calm,” the operator said. “I’m sending fire and rescue to you, right away.”

Day 3 - You Don’t Care

Author’s Prompt: Beca Mitchell expresses her feelings through her music. Chloe finds a song Beca has been working on and thinks it’s meant for her. She listens to it and thinks Beca wants to break up with her, and it’s almost Christmas. Flashbacks will be in italics.

It was Christmas Eve when Aubrey opened her front door to find her best friend, Chloe Mitchell, standing holding three-year-old Sophie, as tears streamed down Chloe’s face.

“Chloe, are you okay?” Aubrey asked as Chloe carried Sophie inside the house.

“No-oh,” Chloe sobbed.

Aubrey wrapped Chloe in a side hug.

“What happened?” Aubrey asked. “What’s going on with you? Is Sophie okay?”

Chloe sniffled and pulled away from Aubrey. “Beca wants to break up with me!”

“What?!” Aubrey yelled. “What are you talking about?”

“She wants to break up with me,” Chloe managed to say through her tears. “A-And I st-still lo-love her, even if she doesn’t lo-love m-me anymore.”

Chloe began sobbing again. Stacie came out of the kitchen.

“Is everything okay out here?” Stacie asked, looking between Aubrey and a sobbing Chloe.

Stacie took Sophie and sat on the sofa with her, while Aubrey pulled Chloe to her into a full hug.

“Chloe thinks Beca wants to break up with her,” Aubrey said.

“That’s ridiculous,” Stacie said. “Beca does not want to break up with you.”

“Yes, she does,” Chloe cried. “And right before Christmas, too. I can’t believe this is happening.”

“Chloe, sit down and you tell us what’s causing you to think Beca wants to break up with you,” Stacie said.

“Stacie’s right, Chloe,” Aubrey said. “Maybe we can work through this with you.”

“Okay,” Chloe said and sat on the sofa, taking Sophie and placing her on her lap.

“Take your time, Chloe,” Aubrey said. “And start from the beginning.”
