I'm considering a thing but I want some opinions on it before I go ahead so here it is: I've identified as bi, pan and mspec in the past, and I'm just so tired of exclus jagoffs insisting that only one of those identities is The Correct Term or The Most Woke and Least Problematic or that anyone's identity is in any way a threat to somebody else's. I've never really had a preference for whether people considered me to be bi, pan or mspec and just let them call me whatever. Those same exclus jagoffs had a fit when people (including myself) tried to pivot to using MOGAI, because it's painfully obvious that their true intentions are to be the identity police and have total control over what things people are "allowed" to identify as. At this point I'm just so bitter that I basically wanna invent my own "new" sexuality, because nobody with an opinion that matters is going to debate me on whether the sexuality I created myself and that I might be the only person in existence to use is "wrong" or "problematic". Which, I know people have coined new identities before and it's not that weird, I'm just wondering if it'd bother people I guess. If there's a lot of backlash then idk what I'll do because I'm just so damn tired of my sexuality being a debate topic for people in and outside of the community. So yeah.

i say go for it! people are always doing this and i think it's awesome.

(you could also use it alongside the labels you've previously used, if you'd like. as an extra "fuck you" to exclusionists. like, "you think i can only use The One Good Label? bitch i'm gonna use them all and then create my own!!!".)

some people say we need to do away with all labels or that there are too many, but i say more the merrier! queer people have historically played with and created labels for their personal, specific experiences, and to not keep up that tradition seems like a shame.

create all of the labels! combine all of the labels! use all of the labels! do whatever you want with labels whenever you want!

even if you're the only one using it or exclusionists give you shit about it, one day in the future, it will have either become common parlance or a niche term that a group of people will discover and immediately attach themselves to. and both options seem great to me.

regardless, use the labels that feel right for you, and if such labels don't exist, create them.
