As I mentioned in some tags, I got some inspiration from Bojan's lace bracelet and went on a lace hunt in my house for lace to make jewellery out of.

The only appropriate things made by me I found was these three bookmarks I made when I was like 12 or something. I'll definitely be making a bracelet out of the red one!

Now, the white pieces of lace I found, they're all made by my grandmother. Still think I might use some of it to make a choker! Not sure which one to use though?

I also have one more place to look, but I need more time to go in there because it's a mess. I should have lace snakes somewhere and I need to find them!

now that I've seen both, I gotta say, I definitely prefer Astarion's spontaneous confession over the Araj-induced one. That was... kind of disappointing in comparison.

I reloaded the pre-confession save today just for funsies, and while I'm seeing that there is a lot to be learned about the character in this other scene, he's just.... so much more flippant about it? He just sounds so... oddly dismissive, and it's really not escaping my notice that there's only like one thing you can say that has him even just admitting that he has feelings for you before you'd tell him that you care. Despite him starting the conversation! And even then, the tone is so different that there genuinely can be a version to that scene that makes going into the romance greetings afterwards legit jarring.

Comparing "seducing you was easy" and "imagine how stupid I felt when I started to genuinely feel something for you" to that "all I had to do was not fall for you" line... it's just night and day. In tone, delivery, word choice, everything. So, so very different.

it'd be nice to talk about the blood merchant situation regardless of whether the other confession had already occurred, but if this was the only way for it to go down, I'd be a little :/ about it.

really torn because i have the opportunity to go east for the sheltie club's main show at the end of the month. and i would like to, and it will be easier now mentally to do it while im still in my doing terrifying things phase. but it doesn't really make sense going without showing Troja, but i don't want it to seem like we had one good weekend and now I'm coming out thinking we'll sweep, you know. i still know her faults and i know her CQ was from a very generous judge that specifically looks for the one thing Troja has in buckets. she'll also be out of coat by then.

How exactly did Maya, Ray and Wu get in a polyam relationship? like who brought it up and how long did it take for them to get use to it?

It took,,, a while.

The three were great friends and would constantly hang out. At some point before the war, Ray and Maya started dating, but... something felt like it was missing. It didn’t takethem long to realise that it was Wu. One of them brings it up, much to the other’s relief, and they talk about things.

But he was still crushing pretty hard on Misako. And is not the best at recognising romantic feelings vs platonic feelings. (Mystake has the MOST deadpan face when he’s going on about Ray and Maya JUST LIKE how he would talk about Misako.... she loves the guy but jesus christ, how is this not obvious. maybe he’s just in denial.)

Then, y’know, the whole thing with the letter happens. Wu’s kinda bummed, but he’s happy for his brother and his friend at the same time. Ray and Maya take him to do something fun to take his mind off things and... hm. Why does he want them to hold his hand too, like they’re holding each others..... that’s when it hits him that he likes them both too, and... has for a while. (”so that’s why Mystake looked so annoyed......”)

Here’s where things get a little difficult to figure out though, cause. Wu is not really one to talk about things, so I’m guessing Ray and Maya get the conversation started, if Wu has any feelings for them, something. I don’t know.

They’re kinda getting a feel for things by the time the war starts. Garmadon is QUITE confused at first, since they haven’t said anything to anyone. They’ll talk about things more seriously when the war is over, if things will be okay, and they can actually think about the future. For now, they just need each other’s support and comfort.
