I like how we're getting to see that Sokka's feelings of inadequacy as a leader and warrior aren't unfounded - he DID struggle, it didn’t come naturally

I don't blame Hakoda in this moment - he knows the war is coming and he's going to have to leave Sokka in charge - he knows it's not fair - he knows it's an impossible situation, and he's desperately trying to exert some control over the uncontrollable

It makes sense that he'd want Sokka to be magically perfect, that way he could feel marginally better about abandoning him and the village - it's not like he has a choice to stay, everyone is in impossible situations and wishing your kid could be the perfect leader when you know it's going to be forced on them anyways is totally rational

Love that Aang immediately clocks the vision as not real

Despite wanting nothing more than to go see his home and people again, he's a master of the spiritual side of his nature - he knows how to rein it in.

It hurts all the more when we get to Gyatzo and there's the initial distrust - completely founded

Gyatzo's monologue is great - how sometimes it feels like we'll always be alone, the only thing keeping you company is your own pain

I didn't name the Uchiha sister because I thought it would be fun to see your opinions and decide based on what you propose, so let me know what you think!!!🛐👀

- The protective brothers' squadron (in different forms and sizes).

- Madara is seven years older and Izuna is three years older.

- The younger Uchiha sister is a combination of Izuna and Madara, with Izuna's fatal beauty and Madara's terrible character. Her hair is a rare mix of the two.

- Madara always was and always will be the mama bird (which also applies to Izuna, but this one always escapes from his overprotective brother), keeping her in his field of vision and making sure she's okay, that no one unwanted approaches her, that nothing happens to her.

- As a child, he didn't allow her to play with anyone he didn't know, only with her older siblings, and perhaps some Uchiha children who were strictly close to him. Madara shouldered the responsibility of ensuring a peaceful life for her.

- As she grows up, it becomes impossible for him to constantly have her by his side. Eventually, his sister discovers the world and all its wonders. While he can protect her from many factors, in some situations he must let her fly.

- Both older brothers were always opposed to her participation in the war, but they could not fight against Tajima's word and verdict. As soon as their father passed away, they had the perfect opportunity to shield and disengage her from the conflict, shelter her and ensure her well-being.

- Madara is reassured by the fact she always has Izuna by her side when she goes out or does new things, his other younger brother assigning himself as her chaperone and making sure to accompany her everywhere. Madara has to take care of an entire clan, he can no longer play babysitter.

- Izuna, while also protective, is a bad influence. He is the first one who urges her to sneak out at night to see a boyfriend, who makes her try alcohol, who shows her what nightlife is all about.

- While he leads her to experiment with many things, he always makes sure to be with her when she does, to help her if something doesn't go right, to contain her if she doesn't like the situation, to be there for her.

- He pushes away any idiot man who wants to approach her with bad intentions, and ensures his presence intimidates the whole environment so as not to fight anyone. Usually, everyone knows she's his little sister, but if some misguided guy mistakes her for his girlfriend, it works for him too. Having them think they're a couple helps with keeping stupid people away.

- Izuna doesn't treat her like a baby just like Madara, letting her be free but always under his wing, let her try everything she wants but in his company and presence. Madara is a suffocating overprotector, who doesn't let her breathe or do anything, afraid that something might happen to her.

- Both strictly forbid her to get close to any Senju, and do not allow her to bond with any of them until the village is formed. She doesn't have much of a problem with this as she grew up fighting against them, and finds it hard to see Madara's vision of peace, teaming up with Izuna against him.

- Growing up as a child of the war provided her with early training to defend and take care of herself as a strong and independent woman (despite Madara's fanaticism for always having her in his range of vision).

- Although she loses her participation in the conflict when her father dies, she never stops practicing, helping her brothers to advance in combat and keeping herself up to date as well. She didn't feel bad about Tajima forcing her to fight, a part of her always missing assassinating Senjus.

You had asked for directions to the gym and someone gave you the wrong ones... sending you right to the recom gym. You stepped in and gawked at the giant blue people working out. Aaand of course, these two noticed you (I'm picturing their reactions as the gifs above)

Lyle - eager to see such a cutie patootie standing in the doorway and on his way to woo you, Alicia - trying to keep her cool but very aware of your presence as she does a bicep curl

You took off, obviously realizing this wasn't where you were supposed to be and she looked at him to say, "Congrats, you scared them off."

They spotted you in the chow hall and made their way to your table, sitting on either side. "We saw you watching us when you came in the gym last night," he crooned. She cut her eyes over to him and reached over you to slap him upside the head. "Don't harass them, dumbass."

They both pursued you individually and eventually ended up spending time as the three of you more often than not. You slowly developed into something where the three of you became partners. Their rivalry became a bit more playful and they became more protective of each other, but protective of you the most.

Mornings were interesting when you woke up with them, often spooning Lyle and Z spooning you. Other times, they'd both have giant limbs slung across you, trapping you in between them.

They get a little jealous when the other person gets to kiss you, whining that you're not kissing them. That leads to a back and forth and bringing everybody in for a group cuddle to soothe their grumpiness.

Anybody harassing you is in for some trouble, though. They end up following you around and shooting death glares to that person. If anybody flirts with you, their tails are flicking in agitation, ears at attention in case you want them to step in and shoo away the person.

You definitely make sure to spend one-on-one time with them to foster your relationship with each of them. Another big cuddle once you get back to your room together to soothe and reassure everybody.

Whenever they go out on missions, they always make sure to have each other's backs so they can get back to you safely. They'll talk about how ready they are to get back to you and try to guess what you'll be wearing, leading to a discussion on which color you look best in. Lyle is convinced it's yellow and Z is convinced it's purple.

They like to teach you how to fight and reward you with kisses whenever you get a move right.

They loooove to take you on Banshee rides and doze on the top of a cliff before they fly back and have a little picnic. Lyle insists on carrying the basket because he loves when you tell him how cute he is with it.

Chulainn: first step is denial. it was already hard enough for them to tolerate you, so why does their heart suddenly skip faster when they are around you?? it doesn't even make sense, i mean sure, they can be at ease around you and don't necessairly feel judged- but like? what is wrong with them??? they would try to distance themselves from you, even though that is rather difficult given your situation, just to figure out those weird and nonsensical emotions around you. would they be meaner around you than usual? to be honest, one would expect that yes, but actually nope. sure, chulainn blames you for their feelings, but since they are crushing on your, they couldn't even imagine to be even more rude towards you. they try to hide it the best they can, and are actually pretty good at it, but eventually those bottled in feelings will come out and... it will be messy

Lys: they would catch themselves looking at you longer than usual and without their own knowledge, would give pretty subtle hints that they crush on you. again, without lys knowing. suddenly they hold longer eye contact with you, they seek out just the caress of your touch and actually are a lot more... forgiving to you? while they would normally nitpick everything you do, they just kind of stopped? or they just don't seem to pay attention to that anymore. it would take them some time or maybe a third party to realize their change in behavior and it would honestly shock them. but yeah, they would change their behavior around you without even noticing themselves. if you notice it, that's an entirely different story :)

Holly: she in her crushing state is just very adorable imo. they would seek you out a lot more and just hype you up in every possible way. would they confess? no. hell, she would barely understand that she is CRUSHING on you. all she knows is that she wants you to be as happy as can be and will do her best to achieve that. an absolute puppy around you and unironically, i think she would even get those damn love surges 💀 but since that is cringe, i can definetly see her get zoomies in her cat form! like, you thanked holly for bringing her some campfire sticks? ZOOM. and people would definetly notice her crush and mention it to her, to which she might first be bashful about it but in hindsight? she really enjoys the feelings she has around you and would be a lot more truly happy when you are nearby.

Elli: it doesn't matter if you crush on him or he crushes on you. he will be a mess. you? they crush on YOU? elli would actually be ashamed of themselves and feel guilty about it, because what the hell can bring to the table that even validates his feelings? he will have an awful pessimistic outlook on his crush on you, basically giving up on it ever becoming more than a crush from the day he noticed he really liked you. and unlike chulainn? he would definetely be rude about it, trying to distance himself from you for your own good by giving you the cold shoulder. it's an awkward scenario, since he started on a bad note with you, then it got better and now suddenly it got bad again. is it noticeable? yes. would people - or you - think it is because he is crushing on you? probably not. this man is drama even if he means to avoid it

Irydion: i don't think anyone would really notice, unless they are a mindreader or anything. because irydion would be pretty chill about it, to be honest. she would be aware of her crush on you, but not really change much despite that. sure, she sees herself smile more and stuff, but she kind of liked you already from the beginning and now even more so, what else could she really do? her heart beats faster and she even is open to skip a night watch to spend it with you, however she handles it, suprisingly, pretty maturely. or more like she has actually no idea how to act with you besides how she already acted lol just how she doesn't notice someone crushing on her, people wouldn't notice it from her either. BUT irydion does get a bit more protective of you and wants to make sure you are safe at all times... maybe a bit more than she already did

Junius: see, this is where it gets a bit tricky. he has been pretty flirty with you already and kind of everyone around, and he even would indulge you for his own amusement should you be the one crushing, but if the roles are reversed? junius gets a bit... conflicted. he has been trying to be more cautious about commitment, so when it hits HIM like that? he will smile about it but kind of panic on the inside. and junius would even actively STOP flirting with you all together, just to kind of hope that perhaps his feelings will stop because surely his emotions rose just from a moment of weakness. i mean, that can totally happen... probably. he hopes that it's just that. but, depending on how long his crush continues, he might actually give in eventually and be like, you know what, maybe this could be real and work out, and pursues you more directly. will he flirt again? absolutely! oh, so he seems back to normal? well... suddenly you seem to be the only one he has eyes for

CRIMSON & CARMEN

They're two ex-octoling soldiers who were tasked to directly guard zapfishes. They escaped a couple of months before the Gear VS Grub VS Fun splatfest, avoiding getting fuzzified, and they followed the sea of inkfish travelling to Splatsville, getting lost in the Splatlands for several days during the process. They were thankfully then found by two splatlanders(?) who they eventually became friends and formed a team with.

@splatoonpolls Hi, I'm a little late, but here's them! Left is Crimson and right is Carmen! They often get confused as siblings and that's both because they look similar and after working side by side in the domes for so long they've become inseparable. Crimson is the type to try as hard as possible to be serious and reliable but then end up failing the stiffer he gets. He's more emotive than he lets on, especially since he's more of a listener than a talker. Has developed an unhealthy obsession with RTS games since moving to the surface, he's spent entire nights playing them and strategizing instead of sleeping. Carmen on the other hand is a chatterbox! Won't shut up unless forced to. She's pretty optimistic and might end up caught in her rose-tinted vision of the world instead of a realistic one. Usually found either daydreaming or rock climbing, which she also got interested in after moving to the surface.

Wachowskis go Trick or Treating

At long last, the day has arrived.

Sonic has put together a map of the neighbourhood, circling all the houses that usually give the best candy. They form a plan and head out. Wade is at their place handing out the candy because there is no way Tom and Maddie are going to miss their boys first Halloween because of some random kids.

Sonic cannot believe this. He is finally getting to actually trick or treat. He used to just nab the candy from those ‘take one’ bowls. Now he can get even more!

There are some people that travelled to the neighbourhood because Halloween was better there and are confused. The boys get compliments on how realistic they look, and that they’re super impressed with the make up. Once pointed out that it is not make up, it gets awkward.

Tails gets majority compliments because LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT THE CUTIE PATOOTIE. Some adults call him back to sneak a big candy bar into his bag when his brothers aren’t looking. Little man is going to have a sugar high the second he gets home.

He brought his infinite candy bag, so he’s able to store a lot in there. He decided to put and extra bag in it juuust in case, so when he saw a little boy sobbing because his bag broke, Tails comes to the rescue offering him a new bag. The little boy is overjoyed. The rest of the family are super proud of Tails for doing such a kind thing.

Knuckles’ ego cannot fit through the door anymore. All the compliments combined with his fearlessness has made him super smug, and Sonic is waiting for the moment to smack that smirk off his dumb face.

Knuckles was asked if he was too old this, to which he responded “why would I be too old? My childhood was spent alone, moping over the graves of my tribe. It is never too late to live the experiences you missed out on growing up.”

Someone somewhere cried.

Remember that ego? Yea. The boys were approaching a house where a candy bowl was sitting on the lap of the Monopoly Man. The man is not moving so they all assume it’s a statue. Until it does move, making them all scream and send Tails behind his brothers, and Knuckles in the front. They realize it’s a joke and not an attack when they hear Tom and Maddie laughing.

Knuckles was knocked of his high horse, but he still enjoyed his night out w the boys.

Sonic met someone dressed up as Luigi, and they immediately started addressing each other as ‘brother’. Knuckles and Tails are not all happy happy about that.

When they get home, Wade is passed out on the front lawn. When asked what happened, he said a bat came up to him and confronted him about a gem. When he told her that he had no idea what she was talking about, she scoffed and walked away. However, she accidentally dropped something out of her pocket which blew up and knocked him out.

When asked what she looked like, he said “idk it’s a bat.”

The night ended with the boys seated around the table munching on candy while talking about the bat. Tails makes plans to upgrade house and emerald security.
