admist the chaos of sasaengs not knowing how to respect enhypen's space, i would like to reiterate that enhypen is not my, yours, or anybody's plaything. the audacity of some fans to think that sitting beside them on the plane, or calling them repeatedly over and over again at 2am will magically make them fall in love with you is crazy. get a grip. the boys are already enduring so so so much, heck we all know they have nothing but genuine love and respect for their fans. the least we can do as fans is to respect their basic human rights.

it irks me to my core to see every single fancall/fansign interaction to be along the lines of pretending they're your boyfriend. fym you want them to praise you like a dog? what good did you do anyway? have some fucking respect, not only for them but yourself. the lack of appreciation for enhypen as artists is unfathomable. its always about how handsome or boyfriend material they are but never how talented and amazing these seven boys are at what they do. it just never ceases to surprise me when people don’t talk about their artistry and stage presence. it's to the point other fandoms know them as the "fan service group". fuck. these boys are more than your vampire boyfriend… yes i write AUs but i don’t expect myself to be dating any of them?? if anyone doesn't agree with this (for some unworldly reason), feel free to unfollow me.

Also. I get.. kind of nervous when I see a lot of people following me?? So sometimes I just stop posting for a while until things "settle" (mostly bc of social anxiety). I tend to be ok after a while but because of past experiences I just try to chill out and remember that people Choose to follow me. In actuality I can sometimes get pretty embarrassed over my own OCs so I mostly just post fanart on here with the occasional Spamton OC, and rarely other OCs.

Just some other disclaimer things before I forget:

My memory is pretty bad and my motivation is also sometimes equally bad. I love getting asks but I often forget to answer them, and when I do, I have to be in the right headspace to reply to them. I don't intentionally ignore them!

If youre rude / weird to me or my OCs, or sexualize either me or my OCs, I am instantly blocking you. My bar is a bit high for the first two things because sometimes I can't really tell if something is malicious or not, but when its clearly obvious with the intent to hurt, I will not hesitate to block. I mainly block bots / accounts without icons because I can't tell if theyre bots. I also block accounts that just make me generally uncomfortable, including accounts that post fetish content / sexualize stuff. If you sexualize any art I make I will block you no hesitation. My art is not meant for that and it never will be. It will never be for people like that. Im generally okay with jokes but when it gets creepy thats enough for a block.

I'm sorry that this is kind of long but I've been wanting to make a post about this for a while!! I'm genuinely so happy that people like my content, especially things that people could consider "cringe" and "embarrassing", like fan OCs. It always surprises me that people like my characters at all, and it really warms my heart to know that people are just.. allowed to make whatever they want and post whatever they want without worrying about like. Idk. Being put in a cringe compilation on youtube and laughed at. This is why I like Tumblr the most- I don't think I'd ever trust something like Twitter or Instagram enough to put my more personal art there. Tumblr feels like home to me, and I'm genuinely so glad that people here like my stuff. It makes me really happy / comfortable. 🥺🥺

I usually write these kind of posts on my personal R/WBY account, but considering the topic I’m about to discuss it makes more sense if I do it here. Trigger warnings for transph*bia, TERF rhetoric and the s3xualization of minors underneath the cut.

So for those that don’t know, a well-known creator within the F/DMN known as y8ay8a has been shown to support TERF ideology via her Twitter follows & likes and she follows the Twitter account of “Gays Against Groomers” scumbags who spew a bunch of hateful/harmful rhetoric against the trans community.

I’m not going to bother arguing why this is obviously a bunch of bullshit to be subscribing to, especially since it seems y8ay8a’s been doubling down {at least on Twitter}. She’s “addressed” things on her Tumblr blog and I use that loosely because she didn’t actually address anything at all. So let me make it perfectly clear to y8ay8a, her fans and the rest of the F/NDM…

Regardless of what she says, she is transphobic, she doesn’t support the trans community and she is a TERF.

One cannot say that they support trans people {or as she put it “adults” I see what you’re trying to imply there, you piece of shit} and then subscribe to TERF ideology/anti-trans rhetoric. It doesn’t matter if you say that you follow trans creators, you don’t actually support them and you’re using them as a shield.

Y8ay8a, there are legit reasons why people are upset with you right now, people aren’t “bullying you” they’re literally getting after you because of the hateful beliefs that you seem to support. If you decide to keep ignoring the justified criticism that’s being thrown your way, then the only one to blame for your “cancellation” within the F/NDM is you.

Also I find it incredibly “hilarious” that you say that “there isn’t much drama to feed from my accounts tbh” when there’s actually a couple of things that you can also be criticized on… like how you’ve drawn multiple NSFW images of R/uby, most of which involve her being paired with adult characters such as H/arriet. It doesn’t matter if she’s a “fictional character”, she’s still a god damn minor you fucking freak… I thought that you & the bigoted groups/people you follow cared about the safety of children? How can you care about the safety of minors, when you’ve drawn NSFW artwork that involves a fictional character who’s underage? You do realize that you’re only giving the impression that it’s okay for others to sexualize minors whether they’re fictional or not, right? Gotta love the blatant hypocrisy of it all…

There’s also you shipping I/Ilia x S/ienna and drawing NSFW content involving the ship. The age gap between them is large and there’s a power imbalance because S/ienna was the leader of the WF {I/lia’s boss}. I’ve also seen that you’ve drawn NSFW content of N/ora x E/lm {large age gap} and S/alem x E/merald {do I even need to explain why this is fucked up}amongst other things.

I don’t want to hear the pathetic excuse of “but some of those were commissions”… you had the ability to say no and yet you still decided to take the money and do those art pieces anyways, there’s no fucking excuse.

How can I live like before tiktok / influencers (like current-day ones), bizarre trends and oversharing on the internet was a thing like pre-2014. Social media was just starting out then and things were far less weird unless they were on, like, livejournal or tumblr. People openly OVERSHARE now online, film everything in public and strangers, make bizarre content for ads and their personal brands, and it's like there's no divide at all. People can act like weirdos online and no one bats an eye anymore. For the most part, social media was kind of just normal back before all this. You'd post a photo, see your friends' photos, maybe some funny tweets, and that's it (in typically NORMAL spaces at least). Is deleting my tiktok the answer? Deleting all social media and being on my phone less? I don't have FOMO, I just feel isolated because EVERYONE is always on their phones, ffs. Is there an answer to this? I just want to go back to a normal life again before all these micro-trends, bizarre content, and strange ads etc. before I get anymore immune to it. It's to the point where I watch movies now from like 2014 (I time I lived through) and go, "I miss those days." Like??? Do you also feel this way sometimes or know if it's common? I'd love any advice / help. Thank you bunches.

I do definitely feel this way, and I think a lot of other people share that feeling, as well. There's even a name for what's happened to the internet recently- it's called "enshittification".

As for what to do about it, I think instead of asking "how can I live like before social media" a better question might be "what do I wish I was doing instead?" In general, quitting things is really hard, and it's even harder to quit things when everyone around you is doing them. It's much easier to replace them with something else that's enjoyable and meaningful to you. Maybe that means joining more in-person activities, like an art class or cooking class, sports team, volunteer group, religious organization, or some other kind of club/group. For me, I joined a service that sends me on a surprise real-world activity once a month, and even that has done a lot for my feeling of being present in the real world. (If you follow my Instagram, you might have seen the one for this month- it was a pottery class I went to this morning!)

Maybe replacing social media means figuring out which hobbies you'd like to pursue on your own and putting more time into those- reading, making art or crafts, playing video games, whatever feels exciting to you. For me, writing this blog is one way that I replace mindless scrolling on social media, as is going to real-world meetups, doing interior decorating projects at my house, and doing craft projects.

Or maybe replacing social media just means installing a bunch of ad blockers and aggressively curating your social media experience so that you only see the types of content that feel like they're contributing to your life. You could even unfollow everyone except for people that you know personally. I've curated my social media this aggressively, especially on TikTok, and now most of the content I see there is academics talking about their work, people talking about interior decorating, people putting together outfits, and daily vlogs. This is hard, though, because you have to be super liberal with the "not interested" button, and you have to be able to realize when the algorithm is trying to push you down a rabbit hole of outrage.

In general, I think the more time we spend offline and the more we interact with people who aren't chronically online, the less chaotic the world feels and the easier it becomes to realize that social media isn't real life. A lot of the phenomena that seem so common when you spend a lot of time online are totally foreign to people who don't spend a lot of time online, and I think having that perspective can be really helpful.

For example, why in the world would you reblog someone you dislike and disagree with 20 times just to repeat different variations of "kill yourself" like you're a broken parrot? What the fuck is that helping? It's one thing to say it once after they've been a piece of shit, but if you're continuously engaging in conversation with someone only to say "kill yourself" instead of blocking them and moving on you need to do some work on your mental health. Besides, now anyone who follows you gets to see LITERAL SPAM of bigotry and suicide baiting. Which does the opposite than help them. Your blog, do what you want, but don't be surprised when you lose mutuals.

Or saying things like "you obviously don't go outside and interact with people" (hi! I'm bedridden half the time! A lot of us on here are disabled!)

I hope it's just ignorance that comes with youth (I was very dumb in my late teens and early 20s) because if you talked that way to people every time you disagreed with them in real life you'd get your ass beat (and not just by the people who disagree with you)

And I think what you REALLY want is an acceptable target to play your bullying fantasies on.

Because you want to project your trauma somewhere where you won't face real life consequences for it.

Soon after I finished high-school my parents got arrested for financial fraud. I never saw it coming. None of our friends and family did.

that said, i did want to ask if you might ever post your fics from here onto AO3? I've got some friends that don't use tumblr that I've been sharing them with and it’d be much easier for them to keep up with if they didn't have to rely on me. You're absolutely right this is my blog to use how I see fit. But I do like trying to accommodate. I recognize I don't exist in a vacuum. I just also have preference on what makes things easier for me as well, and finding that compromise line is difficult sometimes.

And I do plan on cross-posting to AO3 eventually! I'm just not sure when. A lot of the timeline for these quicker fics is very squishy and up in the air, and I'd like to hold off on transferring them over until after they've found something solid. That way I'm not reorganizing a series 12 times, or posting/deleting/reposting a bunch of chapters.

Also! Phantom Pains was so long ago goodness! That was the first fic I ever wrote, I think? That's crazy. Awesome we've found our way back into the same circles again :D

I’ve been pumping out a bunch of threads over on Twitter lately in response to what I call the TERF wizard blood libel game (Hogwarts Legacy). It’s just been exhausting dealing with people in the VTuber scene who only care about people not being mean and not that trans and Jewish people are being thrown under the bus by big streamers so they can play that fucking game. And I’m just an outsider advocating for my friends because I care about them, I can only imagine how exhausted they must be from this shit constantly happening, to have people you looked up to and thought cared about your community treat you as the problem because they can’t play a game without backlash.

It finally reached a point today where trying to watch FalseEyeD’s coverage I just got sick of it. Sick of the handholding and reverence given to corporate VTubers while marginalized creators have had to ordeal far worse treatment. Silvervale gets a few days’ worth of harassment and throws a pity party for herself on stream, meanwhile I’ve had friends who’ve had to deal with much worse harassment on a regular basis for just existing. And aside from Froot opening up about her trans brother and wanting to donate to charity, I haven’t seen any corporate VTubers stand up for either the trans or Jewish communities, it’s been radio silence while they either play the game in spite of them or just say nothing about it. It’s not surprising because corporations like VTuber agencies are fucking cowards, but it finally hit me just how disgustingly obsessed fans are over corporate employees and will fight to defend them more than marginalized creators.

I started unfollowing every corporate account I could after this. Not for any kind of clout, but more just for my own sake. No matter how nice or talented the creator may be, I just can’t take their garbage simping fans who consume uncritically and then get mad at marginalized people standing up for themselves. The best friends I’ve made in this scene have been independent creators who have been neurodivergent, non-white, LGBTQ+, or some mix of the three, and I’d rather focus on them than give any more of my time or energy to the popular kids who cry about getting mean comments or refuse to even make a stand and use their platform to advocate.

Funny thing is I used to worry about being blacklisted by those big name streamers for being outspoken and using my platform to advocate for people, but now I’m at the point that I don’t care if I do. My advocacy for my friends and others in need of allies has always been more fulfilling than wanting to please people who have shown to be shitheels once their streams end and mics are off.

(not trying to start drama nor am i saying names. call-out culture does not work the way you want it to.) i've found that when i was getting a bunch of transid blogs recommended to me, i scrolled through my following list and culled a few who might've been the issue (or people who i just been meaning to unfollow for a while anyways). one of them had transid on their dni, but one of the blogs i kept getting recommended to me was their transid blog. exact same icon, blog format, names, pronouns, everything, even carrd format. just was a transid blog instead of a general coining blog. it is very frustrating, truly. some of the terms (transheight, transbirthday, things along those lines) feel like people genuinely making terms to explain themselves, but the ones like trace and transabled feel like a psyop. if suddenly a 4chan screenshot surfaced that it was their userbase behind the sudden radqueer explosion, i would be less surprised by the news but more surprised that they pulled through with one of their plans for once.

I remember seeing the birthday punk thing, but I also remember not touching it because it was coined by radqueer. I think, because I don't remember the true reason behind it, but the point is that yes. System members choose their BD sometimes, me as a nonhuman I sometimes celebrate my Awakenings as my BDs, I know people who don't want to celebrate their BD. Heck I was one of them! I know that this literally has no impact in ones life, exactly how height, name, aesthetic also has not.

Some terms can be seen as valid, I already told this about trans-name thing. But the community they chose is... questionable, if they do it from good faith at all. Heck, if not the trans- thing, I wouldn't mind hoarding these labels, especially since I'm a heck of a virtual hoarder (and especially since now we have three hoarders corvicons, help /silly)

But I think they pushed me to make somadex in some way. It's not a transid label, but it something for sysmembers who have connection to things they had in their source or past life for example, but don't have them in here. Just like Tarn canonnically had OCD and had a fictional addiction, heh.

If it's a new wave of trolls, I would not be surprised. Because I was in need to block two radqueers in one day lol.

I complained about the group being negative

There were multiple posts in which multiple people said they didn’t like any of the cookies, or any of the lineup that week, or one whole type of cookie.

I was sick of these posts. So I said I was tired of the negativity.

Immediately I got lots of reactions.

One woman took it upon herself to be Nancy Drew and look up my name in the group and find posts where I (very diplomatically and politely) said one time that I didn’t like one cookie as much as I wished I could have, and that I still ate it.

She screenshotted this and commented it to me as a gotcha. She proceeded to post another screenshot of a post in which I reviewed that week’s cookies. I have never faulted anyone for posting cookie reviews, just for outright saying “lol this week is a skip week”

Because I was getting responses pointing out my hipocrisy. I responded to comments with the eye roll emoji. People then began calling me a “brat” for that.

So I did the mature thing and said to Harriet the Spy, “suck my dick” but of course it autocorrected to “duck”

I got a bunch of shocked reacts to that comment, which was funny to me

I was expecting mad reacts or laughing reacts but people were shocked

I wasn’t laughing, I mean it was funny in retrospect

But of course I immediately felt bad for having pissed off this entire group. I mean I was in tears and luckily I was just about to go to therapy that day

So I decided to leave the group and apologize. I was surprised I was still able to leave an apology goodbye post in the group since I left.

People responded positively to my apology and goodbye.

My posts are from my drafts. If I post any less, I'll have too much in my drafts. I already have over 10,000 drafts. I don't use my feed/dashboard at all, but if you must use it, I suggest the multitab tumblr app as that shows your dashboard posts as a grid, so it's easier to scroll through many posts. You can also create "feed sets" where you have one tab with up to 20 different blogs and that's a separate feed to the people you're following. Alternatively you can unfollow me, and then use multitab Tumblr to browse through only my posts, as you can keep me open in a tab that won't go away after every time you close the app and re open it unless you close it the tab yourself. tumblr has an open api which means anyone can make software to use it. So issues like this really shouldn't bother anyone since there's always "an app for that". Tumblr has a great community of 3rd party developers so I suggest looking through more of the 3rd party software if multitab Tumblr doesn't do everything you need. Also I'm not sure who else you follow but a lot of people seem to reblog in bursts so you'd get a lot of their posts one after another all at once on your feed. This is because they reblog straight instead of queueing. What I do is I draft first, then fill up my queue from my drafts, so posts are spat out at even intervals every few minutes. So, it could be a lot worse, let's say if I was too lazy to draft and queue, and just reblogged all at once whenever I had a tumblr browsing session. Another option would be to just use the algorithmic feed by toggling "best stuff first". This'll show you less of my posts and more of other people's. Since my engagement is somewhat low due to the volume of posts I output, it'll only show you a few posts from the ones I upload, the ones the algorithm considers the "best". Whether they're actually the best is up to you. You say you like everything I post? Well, do what I do and go through all 60,000+ of my posts using multitab tumblr, as that allows you to start scrolling after an interval of posts. Let's say you scrolled through 2371 posts in one session (easy since again it shows posts in a grid and that grid is adjustable) and you suddenly needed to do something else and leave your tumblr session. So you type in something like 2500 or 2400 posts and next day you start scrolling again around from where you left off. It shows you how many posts you've scrolled past already. But yeah since new posts are coming in, you'd need to jump to an interval that has some slack, meaning it allows for a few 100 new posts to push your number up a bit. So if it shows you've scrolled through 2371 posts exactly, you'd technically be more like 2500 posts down the next day since a bunch of new posts got added. Anyway this is how I like to use tumblr, jumping from blog to blog and browsing through all their posts, finding other blogs through the notes, the via, the source, the reblog chains etc for each posts im interested in. It's kinda like archive view but a lot nicer to use. You just seem very desperate here because you like the content I share but you don't like how much of it there is. Well, I don't really want to use tumblr any less because I really love it too. This life is too short for me to not output as many posts as I can in a day. Think about all the posts I'll be missing. girl I love this blog cause now I can talk about this stuff. So the friend with the age gap relationship right him and his gf looked so in love and she was posting about their relationship every month like every month was an anniversary post story. And like she got a whole necklace with his initials and posted like 10 posts with him in it on ig. And like I’m pretty sure this dude was single for like 5/6 years before her and he posted her too which is a huge deal for guys to finally post a girl especially a guys who’s been single for that long. And he took her to his friends engagement party so everyone knew she was his girl too. And then randomly they unfollow each other, and he starts following a bunch of girls from probably dating apps and then after awhile she was also following new guys like I was like omg TEAAAA what happened they looked so in love like I thought it would last more than 4 months lol. Idk what this means but his friend either removed all his likes on her posts or there is a feature I don’t know about and she removed all his likes on her posts from being seen? Petty either way lol let me know who u think did it tho! I think his little sister has dealt with a ton of people growing up talking about how hot her brother is, including her own friends, I don't think shes surprised or cares much at this point. He has followed his little sister's friends before.

A weird phenomenon Ive observed over the past few years is some people will reach the PEAK of their art skill, draw the greatest master pieces you've ever seen in THEIR style, and then somehow along the way....They try to improve more and it almost feels like they've backtracked from their established style? Its almost sad to see, like you were perfect and then you ventured to close to the sun and now the only thing out of your style thats recognizable is like...the mouth shape...

Its mostly noticable when you haven't seen their art in a long time. Like a year or so, and then you see their recent art and its either perfection or you're questioning what artist this is really. And I don't mean to say anyone who's art does is is a bad artist- its just jarring to see the COMPLETE style flip. Used to use primarily pastel colours? Of course its odd to see you using very bright colours! Or vice versa

Or when someone learns how to draw noses right, something is very different suddenly. Maybe its my neurodivergency but these changes get super noticable for me, never bad, but very surprising

Piece of advice- Don't unfollow artists during this, because they're probably experimenting and growing! Doesn't matter if its not the same as what they used to, they'll find the style they like and settle down again. Or maybe they'll never settle and you get to see a bunch of cool new things all the time.

I'm someone who still doesn't have a set art style, so...I kinda am always changing.
