Linda, to Becky: Don't worry. It's just the universe punishing you cause you're a ginger.

Some little canon tidbits from the 8 hour Nerdy Prudes Must Die livestream that y’all missed/ forgot about:
1. Jane Perkins’ was Linda Monroe’s friend and therapist
2. Jane, Gerald, and Linda all went to U of M
3. Matt Lang refers to himself as the God of the Universe and says Tom and Becky are meant to be together
5. Becky Barnes grew up with a THICK Scottish? Accent.
6. CCRP (Paul, Bill, Ted, and Charlotte’s company) are experimenting on them in order to harness the power of the Lords in Black. They don’t need a tech department… especially not one full of people who are very bad at technology. (For example, Paul 23 and Android Emma in Forever & Always)
7. Paul and Emma will always find each other, even if they’re an identical copy like a robot or a clone.

happy international women’s day to all my favorite ladies including: baristas who love weed, incredibly stressed out office workers, cult leading karens, psychic autistic tweens, girls who hate their retail jobs, nurses who have killed two people, alt girls down bad for tiny nerds, sex-obsessed lighting techs, deeply unhinged fundamentalists, executive assistants who moonlight as serial killers, ghosts possessing their husband’s cars, camp counselors with dark secrets, serial-killing Boy Moms(TM), retro diner owning witches, and british nobles who are secretly monsterfuckers.

I think my favourite thing about starkid is that the female characters actually feel like characters. I think it shows especially in Della- she's such a messy little gremlin. Usually people would make the self sacrificing female character some sort of holy virgin, but this woman is a disaster, and that's what's great about her. Lex? Poor little meow meow. Steph? Absolute simp. Emma? No thoughts, just weed and dogs. Becky? Wet cat of a human. Even looking at older stuff, like trail to Oregon or twisted, or even me and my dick. Their female characters are just as silly and loveable as their male characters. Is it the bare minimum? Yes, but it's still great.

Do You Want To Play is absolutely the scariest song in Black Friday. Because like
How many times do you think Lex has told Hannah, "if you're lost, find a (insert trusted adult)." Like maybe a teacher. Or a nurse. Or a soldier. Or a parent. Or even just a woman. Those are safe people, right?
Tom and Becky should be the ideal trusted adults. They should be the people Hannah can go to for help. But they attack her.
Imagine being Hannah in that situation. If she can't trust the people who are supposed to help her, who can she trust? Who's going to save her from the "good people"? Where is Lexie?
She's all alone.
