What do you think of azira and Crowley becoming human at some point in the show? I feel like most people really don’t want this to happen but I think it would be sooo sooo thematically relevant to them and their relationship.

I'm also not a fan of that, unfortunately:/ I see the appeal so I understand why some people want it, but it's always made me feel a bit iffy. I haven't found the right words yet but fortunately this fandom has so many wonderful people who've been able to express the sentiment quite well, like @bornonthesavage in their post, or @queerfables who literally just reblogged the post from me with these succinct tags that mirror my feelings exactly:

having an ending where they turn human would, to me, feel a bit like the death of them, I guess? (sth about 'i would die for you' - 'thats too easy. would you live for me?') (sth about them having to give up who they are to be able to be together? I prefer for them to suck out all the marrow of life, elbow to elbow, arms on the same table, forever hungry and forever satisfied)

Good Omens Fic Rec: moments lost, moments gained

With frantic, fumbling steps, Hamish hurries back to his car, grabs his radio, and alerts headquarters.  “Yes, uh,” He huffs with urgency, “This is PC Hamish Black; I’ve got two folks out here off the A30, both suffering from severe injuries and unresponsive. One burn and one… impact, maybe? I can’t tell. I need emergency units here as soon as possible.”  Hamish takes another look at the two men strewn across the highway, the rubble and flames surrounding them both. He vaguely hears headquarters responding to his alert.  “Please, hurry,” he mutters.   Crowley and Aziraphale are expelled from their respective realms when their partnership is found out, and find themselves waking up in hospital as humans, with no memory of their previous natures, and no memory of each other.

*Minor Spoilers* The only thing negative thing about this story is that is ends!!! This was such an intriguing story! Crowley and Aziraphale are found burned and broken in the middle of the road with no memory of who they are or what happened. Though you never get the full details, it's clear to us what must have happened.

They wake up together in the hospital and we follow along for their stay. Their memories don't come back to them, but somethings are unforgettable. Like that Aziraphale likes books, Crowley likes old cars, that they dine at the Ritz, and Crowley calls Aziraphale Angel. They could never forget about each other. The muscle memory remains.

This is an excellently paced and written story. It'll break your heart a bit, but nothing too heavy. I grieve for them because of the time and memories they've lost, but the important part is that they're together. They can be together now. Safely. And maybe it isn't the life they deserve, but they'll figure it out together.

Looks like the breakup is functionally a product of us tripping over our own feet and too many load bearing assumptions, especially considering cultural translation factors

turns out what hurts the most has been that it was so so close to being perfect with no pain. But we're left with a mess instead.

I don't even know how normal people would have approached it anyway. At what point during the dating is it reasonable to have an assumption of exclusivity?

Just finished watching the Barbie movie and god damn if it didn't call me out.

End-of-movie stereotypical Barbie is me. I am her. That has been my life for the past month. Fucking surreal to see something I thought was a fairly unique experience laid out on the big screen like that. Especially since it's such a recent thing that has happened to me. Absolutely bizarre.

Jiho learns how he was born half human and half animal and finds out there is going to be a special gift that he will receive on his 20th birthday. This gift- a marble- is the only way to become a real human. Despite the perfect plan he had, the "marble" gets taken away by Gunwoo, accidentally, and Jiho has to convince Gunwoo to sleep with him so he can become a human before it's too late. Jiho slowly falls in love with Gunwoo as he tries to get closer to Gunwoo.
