Kodzuken x Streamer!Y/N
Pairing: Kenma Kozume x Fem!Reader
Genre: SMAU, Written Elements, Strangers to Lovers, Romance, Fluff, Humor, Friendship, Hurt/Comfort, Streamer/Youtuber AU
Upcoming content creator/streamer, Y/N, has gone viral for lots of things. Her infamous dumb moments, her blended cookie recipe (which tastes better than it sounds), the way she rages at her friends during games, and about a hundred more.
But her most recent viral moment? Accidentally knocking famous streamer, Kodzuken, off the Bedwars map and making him lose his two year winning streak.
Now with more attention (and hate) than she ever asked for, her only option left is to go to the source: the man himself, Kenma Kozume.

Chapter 6 (a): Cuddle Buddies
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Word Count: 2381
You look up from your phone with confusion, eyebrows furrowed as you turn and make eye contact with Shoyo. Your features practically light up upon seeing him, a grin enveloping your face as you stand from your seat.
“Sho!” And maybe your voice is a bit too loud in the quiet atmosphere of the cafe because you can see multiple heads turn in your direction as you begin making your way towards him. But you can’t find it in yourself to care when Sho’s arms come around your waist and he lifts you from the ground as your face is buried into his neck.
“Hi Y/N.” His voice is warm in your ear, his tone full of affection for you as his grip tightens around your waist.
And suddenly you feel so silly because your eyes are watering and you’re hiding your tears against his skin in complete embarrassment. You know you’re being uncharacteristically emotional, and you’re able to realize that you’re causing a scene. But even so, it’s been so long since you’ve seen Sho that you’re incapable of holding in your emotions even if you wanted to.
Shoyo squeezes you tighter against him, most likely becoming aware of your current state of mess and trying to comfort you. Unfortunately for you though he underestimates his strength, resulting in your ribcage beginning to ache and your voice getting breathless from the lack of air.
“Okay, okay,” you manage to get out, struggling to pull away as you pat his shoulder with one hand. “You’re crushing me here, Sho.”
“Oh!” He releases you nearly instantaneously, laughing when you stumble as your feet come in contact with the ground. “Sorry, Y/N,” he rubs the back of his neck with one hand almost bashfully.
He looks so different from when you last saw him, (How long has it been? Eight months? Nine?) but his ever-lasting smile is enough to make you feel like nothing has changed at all.
You hear a throat clear, “I feel like I’m interrupting something.” Only then do you remember who you’re even supposed to be meeting in the first place. “Should I give you guys some space?” He’s teasing you, you can recognize it in his voice, but when you turn to look at the man standing awkwardly off to the side you don’t recognize the face.
But you know who he is. How could you not?
“Hi Kenma,” you greet with an enthusiastic smile. He’s different than you expected; only a couple centimeters taller than Shoyo and admittedly more good-looking than you initially would’ve anticipated.
He’s wearing a simple sweatshirt and jeans, his overgrown bleached hair tied back to (one can only assume) keep it out of his face.
And, if you’re being honest with yourself, you feel a bit overdressed.
You’d made sure to do your makeup exceptionally well today, always wanting to impress when meeting someone new. You even wore a skirt for the occasion, although - judging by both of their casual outfits - it seems that it’s entirely unnecessary .
You move forward to hug Kenma just as he reaches out with his right arm, presumably to shake your hand. You both pause, your gazes meeting as you realize the awkwardness that’s about to ensue.
You don’t let it.
“Can I give you a hug?”
Kenma’s eyes grow wide, “You want to-? Why would you-? You-.” His hand retracts, his fingers restlessly playing with the hem of his hoodie as he looks you over. “You want to hug me?” It’s only the third coherent sentence he’s said since you’ve met, but it’s a surprisingly wholesome question all things considered.
You can’t help but laugh then because he also seems to be a lot more timid than he’d ever been online.
“I’m really good at hugs,” you tell him, your arms still outstretched in his direction.
“You-,” he stops again, his head tilting as he gives you an unreadable expression. “Fine.”
You mentally cheer even as he rolls his eyes, opening his arms for you rather reluctantly as you step closer to him. You give him no chance to change his mind, practically throwing your body into his in order to wrap your arms around him.
And despite his earlier unwillingness Kenma returns your embrace with equal fervor, his hands encircling your body and pulling you into him almost roughly.
It feels odd at first, because of course it’s only natural that you’ll be uncomfortable when you hug someone who’s essentially a stranger. But then you let yourself relax against him, and end up getting a feeling reminiscent of when you hugged Shoyo just moments before.
“Happy now?” Kenma’s voice is muffled but you can still clearly understand him, enough to know that he probably wants you to let go.
You back away with a cheeky smile, “I’m never happy.”
His eyebrows furrow disbelievingly, “Well don’t you just seem like a bundle of joy.”
There's the streamer you know.
“Oh!” You suddenly remember what you’d been doing previously, anxiously looking back at where you were sitting. “Let’s go get my stuff.” You turn to make your way back to your seat, the men trailing closely behind you.
“We’re leaving already?” You hear Sho ask and you glance back at him with a confused expression.
“What do you mean?” Realization dawns on you as you’re grabbing your purse. You look at Kenma with a glare, “Did you not tell him what we’re doing?”
The plan for the day was simple; meet at the cafe, then travel from said cafe to Kenma’s house, where you would have all the time in the world to cuddle with some cats.
Kenma looks at you incredulously, “Of course I did. Right Sho?”
“Yeah. I just wanted some food first,” the shorter man laughs.
“We can grab some before we go.” Kenma suddenly raises an eyebrow, “Did you follow through with your end of the deal?”
You smirk, “Do you even have to ask?” You reach over to grab the white bakery box sitting on the table just besides your phone.
“You put it in a box?”
“Of course I put it in a box, I’m not a savage.”
You notice Kenma lean towards Shoyo as you hand him the pie, “Is it normal to put a pie in a box?”
Shoyo leans in even closer, “I have no idea.”
You lean in too, lifting a free hand to cup your mouth, “You guys suck at whispering.”
~~~
“Honey, I’m home!” You giggle as you enter the foyer, glancing back at Kenma as he lets the door fall closed behind him.
“You know I have a roommate right?” He shakes his head as he steps past you, gesturing for you both to follow him as he walks deeper into the house.
You tilt your head, “Oh you mean your ex best friend?”
He turns to look back at you with a deadpan expression, “There is something seriously wrong with you.”
Kenma suddenly stops in what appears to be the kitchen, pulling out a chair at the marble island set just a few feet across from the kitchen sink. You sit in it before he can, directing a cheeky smile in his direction, “Thanks.”
He sends you a sarcastic grin, “Oh yeah no problem. I definitely wasn’t trying to sit there or anything.”
Shoyo sits in the chair next to you while Kenma drifts slightly away to open a drawer and grabs something. Shoyo then sets his food on the counter, ripping open into his bag of chips and unfolding the wrapper of his sandwich.
Kenma takes the seat next to him, pulling the pie box towards him in order to lift the lid. You lean forward to eye him, “Are you trying to eat my homemade apple pie cold right now?”
The streamer sighs out of clear frustration, his spoon falling from his hand and falling onto the countertop with a low clang. “How am I supposed to eat it then huh? Do I have to put it back in the oven or something?”
“What?” You shake your head, “No but the microwave would do a lot.” You get up, making your way around Shoyo to grab the pie from him. “Do you have a pie slicer?”
He looks up at you expressionlessly, “You realize I eat pie every other day, right?”
“You realize I know nothing about you, right?” You sigh, rounding the island and setting it next to the kitchen sink. “Where is it?”
“In the drawer right where you’re standing.”
Well that’s convenient, you think to yourself as you step back slightly to pull open the drawer. You’re a little shocked by what you see to be honest; it’s full of cooking and baking utensils, all well organized and put in their rightful place. Thanks to this though, you’re able to find the pie slicer within only a couple seconds, setting it on the counter as you close the drawer.
You cut a relatively big slice out of the apple pie, “Where’s the plates?”
“Here,” you flinch as a glass plate is suddenly set on the counter beside you. “Sorry,” Kenma mutters when he notices your reaction, his voice so low that you almost don’t hear it.
“It’s fine,” you say in return, despite the fact that you’re still kind of shaken from his unexpected closeness.
You set the piece onto the plate, barely even having time to react before Kenma is lifting the plate and moving across the kitchen. He puts it in the microwave in almost record time, closing the door and then just standing there.
You only wait a few seconds before he abruptly looks back at you with an expectant expression. “Well? How long?”
“Oh,” right, “Fifty-two seconds.”
His eyebrows furrow, “You’re kidding.”
“I never lie about pie,” you tell him seriously. But then you sigh, rolling your eyes when he doesn’t move to start the microwave.  “Forty five seconds is too cold, fifty five seconds is too hot, and fifty-two is my lucky number.”
He looks at you like you’re insane but doesn’t argue any further, “Whatever you say.”
You turn to make eye contact with Shoyo, leaning against the counter as you fold your arms across your chest. “Do you want a piece, Sho?”
He grins at you, “Hell yeah I do.”
“Are you offering my pie to other people right in front of me?”
You shoot Kenma a look, “You mean my pie.” You straighten, “And yes. I am.”
Kenma looks at Shoyo, “You’re lucky I like you.” He pulls open a cabinet just to the right of the microwave, grabbing two more of the same white plates he’d used for himself earlier.
You plate another slice before pausing to stare at the third dish sat before you. “What’s this for?”
“My pet fish,” he answers sarcastically. “Who do you think it’s for, Y/N?”
“Well sorry I can’t read your mind,” you retort. Sure you’d had an idea of who it was for but you didn’t want to use it for yourself before he’d confirmed it.
By the time you’ve finished microwaving your own slice of pie, both Shoyo and Kenma are standing in the entranceway waiting for you. “What are we doing,” you ask, completely clueless as to why they’re standing.
“We’re planning on watching a movie,” Shoyo explains.
“Oh okay,” you grab your phone with your free hand, following behind them as they leave the room.
“You know,” you announce as you’re walking down a set of stairs, “I’m kind of surprised that we haven’t come across any cats yet.”
You see Kenma nod, “Yeah they tend to stay away from the main floor of the house; it’s colder than every other floor.”
“Even the basement?”
He looks back at you with an eyebrow raised, “I’m not some fiend that leaves my basement in negative two degrees like some people. Both Kuro’s and I’s bedrooms are down here.”
“Oh,” you suppose that makes sense.
“See look,” you all reach the end of the staircase, where Kenma pauses to point out two cats lying on the last step. “This is Mars and Dusty.”
“Oh my gosh,” you practically squeal, forgetting that two other people are currently standing on the stairs with you as you step forward. Shoyo stumbles into Kenma at the movement, to which the taller man barely manages to avoid the cats as his feet make contact with the landing.
You gasp, your hand reaching up to cover your mouth as Kenma looks up at you with wide eyes. And sure you feel bad but you’re still completely unable to hold back your laughter at his expression.
He watches you giggle, his facial features growing even more incredulous the longer you laugh. “You literally almost killed the first two cats we came across and you still want me to let you cuddle them?”
“Wait wait wait,” you panic as he reaches down and scoops up the two cats with his free hand. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be laughing I just-,” you cut yourself off with a snort, “I just was not ready for you to look at me like that.”
He shakes his head, “What the hell is wrong with you?” And while the words themselves could be considered harsh he can’t even hide his smile as he says it.
You tuck your phone into the waistband of your skirt, silently praying that it won’t fall out as you reach towards him with your free hand. “I promise I’ll be gentle,” you tell him.
He hesitates.
“Please,” you pout. And you feel completely pathetic as you do because you’re literally begging to hold a cat right now. (But - to be fair- it’s a really cute cat.)
You can see the exact moment Kenma’s resolve breaks, his shoulder’s relaxing as his expression falls.
He sighs, his head falling back to look skyward as he finally gives in, “Fine.”
“Yay!” You’re practically bouncing on your feet, your smile wide as you step down to the bottom stair and become eye level with Kenma.
“But,” he suddenly says and you pause mid-cheer, “Let’s go sit down first.”
You immediately nod, “Okay.”
You don’t care where he wants you, to be entirely honest; as long as you get to cuddle with some cats.
Listen it’s really late when I’m typing this, but I just thought of like. Considering all the stuff about how the DSMP is a cryptid of a server, and its outer world portals are always on lockdown, and how it’s really hard to make inter-server calls to the DSMP, I’m imaging a scenario where someone who’s directly friends with a DSMP member is like “no okay, I’m gonna go check on them” and then just. Doesn’t come back. Like they got into the server and now they can’t really get out.
Especially if we wanna take the route of like, how some people see Hypixel as like, a big contest arena of sorts, right? And so big names in some Hypixel communities might be known? Say, in the bedwars community.
I’m just kinda thinking as I type here but like. Imagining say, BoomerNA. He’s good friends with Purpled and HannahxxRose- he is, he swears by it! They’re his friends! It’s been hard to contact them recently though… they told Boomer that they were gonna go join some other server for a bit, but they haven’t come back yet… he’s gonna go check on them, he decides. He’ll be back soon, don’t worry.
And then he just. Doesn’t come back. And of course people notice! It’s not like a big name in the tourney like that can just vanish without some form of gossip, but nobody’s sure what to do, really. It seems he’s just… gone.
I know this is kinda irrelevant to the whole ambassador part of the AU, but I was just thinking about it. And now all my thoughts are in your ask box. I don’t really know.
I immediately thought of Philza reading that first paragraph, but unlike Boomer there’s hardly anyone to miss him. He’s known for hardcore; disappearing for long spells from the public eye is a given. So nobody even notices when his world loses its player. Anyone who would is already on the Dream SMP, and it’s them who drew him there in the first place.
The Dream SMP kind of eats away at the bedwars community, doesn’t it? Like first Hannah, and Purpled, and Technoblade, and then Boomer. Just gone! Into thin air! Very strange, people say, but sometimes fame makes people disappear. Maybe they ran off together, who knows! Maybe they look for them, maybe they don’t; it doesn’t really matter because they’ve left only crumbs behind and there’s no way to reach them even if those crumbs were a loaf. Sometimes, especially Purpled and Hannah, wonder if anyone did look for them. If they’re missed by better friends than the ones they have on the SMP. If they were better friends.
I imagine, in c! terms, that Boomer, Hannah, and Purpled weren’t all that good of friends but acquaintances for sure. It’s as much Boomer’s curiosity that leads him to the DSMP as his fondness for them. It’s also been months since he’s seen either of them, and they’re different now. Frayed is a word that comes to mind. Twisted up. It’s easy to forget what laughing with them was like now in their presence again.
Raises the interesting question of what happens when players who’ve gone missing re-emerge during MCC. Potential for magic interference here. Would they be able to leave from the MCC server or are they bound somehow by the DSMP? If bound, is it in a normal operational way that’s been twisted, or is it a cage entirely of Dream’s design?
i won't announce my sheer decent (but holy fuck there will be signs) pt. I
(Cross-posted on AO3)
part one (you are here) | part two
Tommy wasn't going to say he hadn't seen this coming, but he'd hoped it wouldn't happen so soon.
He was about to get kicked out of his foster house.
No one told him this, of course. No one ever tells him more than a day beforehand when he's about to be put back into the system, but it's happened enough times in the past that he's learnt to see the signs.
He'd been living in the Minecraft house for months - almost a year now - longer than any other foster house had put up with him in the past. It's only rational to assume they'd want to be rid of him in the near future. He's annoying, Tommy knows this, and it's stupid to think anyone would think otherwise.
But… he'd really hoped it'd be different this time.
The Minecraft's seemed like they were different. Phil never yelled when he got mad, never told Tommy that he was being annoying, never brushed Tommy's feelings aside in favour of his real kids. Wilbur played his guitar and sang for him, playfully teased, but was never mean about it, let him crawl into bed with him after a nightmare. Techno cooked all sorts of potato-centric foods for him, drove him around if he asked nicely, affectionately called him "Theseus".
They made Tommy feel like he was worth something.
And now they were throwing him away like yesterday's rubbish.
Tears welled up in Tommy's eyes, but he rubbed them away before they could fall. He's a big man. Big men don't cry.
Phil said it's okay to cry-
Don't think about it.
It had started out innocent enough, Tommy supposed. He'd gone into Phil's office in the middle of the night, searching for a book he'd misplaced. He spotted a manilla folder sitting innocently on his foster father's desk and, well… Tommy was nothing if not curious to a fault.
So, he took a peek.
It was his file, the one that Phil was given by his social worker before Tommy had ever even stepped foot in the house.
Why'd Phil have it out?
Doubt seeped into his mind, turning his veins to ice as he considered the possibilities.
Really, there was only one reason Phil would have Tommy's file out on his desk.
He sped out of Phil's office before his brain had even registered he was moving, his misplaced book long forgotten. His not his never his not really bedroom was only just down the hall, and thus had only taken a few quick strides to get inside. The door slammed shut in his haste, making a loud bang that he really hoped didn't wake anyone up. He clicked the lock with shaking fingers.
Tommy slid down to the floor, back pressing against the door uncomfortably. He pulled his knees up to his chin and wrapped his arms around his legs in a pitiful attempt at self-comfort.
With tears springing to his eyes, he looked around the room, picking out things that the Minecraft's had gifted him. Things that he wouldn't be able to take with him to the next house.
The red and white bedding Phil got him in his first week there. It was rumpled and unmade from when he'd gotten up the previous morning. It was probably the most comfortable bedding Tommy ever had.
The electric piano keyboard Wilbur bought him as a six month foster anniversary gift. His foster brother would sometimes come in with his guitar and they'd fuck around, playing music together and singing at the top of their lungs.
The bookcase filled to the brim with books Techno insisted on buying for him at the bookstore. The books were in no particular order, which Techno had once said gave him a headache, but they were all pristine and well taken care of.
The PC Techno and Wilbur had helped him build on Christmas. The three of them would all play on Hypixel together, sometimes roping Phil into their games as well. Their favourite game to play with all four of them was Bedwars.
Henry and Duffle, the stuffed cows, leaned against each other on the bed. Wilbur had given Henry to him after a particularly bad nightmare, one so bad it had made Tommy climb into bed with him. Wilbur said he wanted Tommy to have it, and Tommy couldn't find it in himself to refuse. Phil had bought Duffle after seeing Tommy eyeing the toy in the store. Tommy had tried his best to convince him that he didn't need any toys, that he was a big man, but Phil just said Henry could use a friend. Tommy couldn't say no.
A picture frame sat atop the dresser; probably Tommy's most prized possession.
It was a photo from Christmas day, taken by one of Phil's friends -- Puffy, if he remembered right. It was taken in the living room, right after everyone had opened their gifts. Wrapping paper littered the couch and ground. Himself, Techno, Wilbur, and Phil were the focal point of the picture, all sitting on or standing around the couch. Wilbur sat on Tommy's left with an arm slung around his shoulders, a wide grin on his face. Phil sat on his right, a hand ruffling Tommy's hair, smile soft and fond. Techno stood behind the couch, arms crossed, but there was a slight quirk of his lips that betrayed his grumpy demeanour.
Off to the side, half cut out by the crop of the photo, Tubbo and Ranboo threw crumpled-up balls of wrapping paper and gift boxes at each other, mouths open wide. Tommy knew they were both yelling at the top of their lungs.
The Tommy in the photo was mid-laugh, clutching his stomach and nearly falling off the couch, and he remembers that he shouted an insult at Tubbo and gotten nailed in the face with wrapping paper mere moments after the picture was taken, and that he'd joined Ranboo's side in the wrapping paper war in revenge.
Tommy smiled bitterly at the photo as tears dripped down his face, a mockery of the unabashed grin that graced his face in the picture frame.
He buried his face in his arms, and fell asleep that way.
***
The next morning was… difficult.
Knowing the foster family he'd lived with for nearly a year was trying to get rid of him, well, it hurt. It hurt more that he had to lie about not knowing.
Maybe if he feigned ignorance, they would keep him. Maybe if he was good, they'd let him stay.
He skipped breakfast, got dressed, and avoided everyone like the plague. He didn't fight Wilbur for shotgun when they piled into Techno's car like he usually did. He ignored Phil when he waved goodbye to them from the front porch. He didn't demand the aux cord to play Able Sisters from the car speakers.
The ride to school was tense and quiet.
Tommy knew that Techno and Wilbur could tell something was wrong with him, but they both kept their mouths shut. For that, Tommy was grateful.
The three of them went their separate ways once they were inside the school.
Once he was outside the house and away from his brothers Wilbur and Techno, Tommy found it easier to breathe, somehow. The tension of knowing what was soon to come was temporarily lifted from the air. Tommy knew it would be back at the end of the day, so for now, he relished in it.
Tubbo and Ranboo were quick to show up, and they pulled him out of his own head properly.
For the time being, he could forget.
***
Unfortunately, he couldn't forget forever.
That night, after a quiet car ride home and an awkward dinner, Tommy overheard Phil say his name from the living room.
He'd been on his way down the stairs to the kitchen to get a coke from the fridge (and maybe a package of oreos), when Phil's hushed tone caught his attention. He froze, wondering if it was too late to just turn back and shut himself in his room, when he heard his name. He decided, what the hell, he'd tune in. Eavesdropping shmeavesdropping, he wanted to know what Phil was saying about him.
"-'s been acting off, I think he might be sick." Phil's hushed tone came from down the stairs.
It was Wilbur that responded, "He didn't play Able Sisters in the car to or from school, and he didn't fight me for shotgun; he just climbed in the backseat."
"I saw him at lunch, was sittin' with Tubbo and Ranboo," Techno cut in, "Looked fine then."
The living room went quiet. Tommy pressed a hand to his mouth and nose to stifle the sound of his breathing.
Then, "Do you think he knows?"
"No, of course not," Phil assured Wilbur, "He has no reason to suspect anything."
Tommy's heartbeat roared in his ears, blocking out any further words they might've said.
He took that as his cue to leave.
He went to bed without any coke or oreos.
***
The following days passed much the same, Tommy's only reprieve being in school with Ranboo and Tubbo.
Ironic, considering how much he hated school.
His foster family was clearly gearing up to kick him to the curb, and failing to be sneaky about it at that. It felt like he was walking on eggshells at that house, trying his best to be good so they might let him stay just a little longer.
It was just so frustrating.
So, naturally, he vented to his friends.
"Phil is going to put me back in the system soon," Tommy began unceremoniously, dropping heavily onto the bench next to Tubbo at the lunch table. Ranboo, on Tubbo's other side, looked up, red and green eyes shining with concern.
"Whatcha mean, bossman?" Tubbo said, only glancing up from his laptop for a moment before continuing to type. His screen was filled with code jargon Tommy could never hope to understand.
"I mean, I found my file sitting out on Phil's desk a few days ago, and the three of them keep whispering about me when I'm not there," Tommy grumbled, "They keep saying something about me 'suspecting something' too. They're not subtle."
"Have you tried asking them about it?" Ranboo asked.
"Well, no-"
Tubbo whacked him on the back of the head.
"OW! What was that for, you actual fucking dickhead-"
"Don't just jump to conclusions like that, you idiot," Tubbo scolded, the code on his computer screen temporarily abandoned, "Talk to them, Tommy."
Tommy scowled, but nodded anyway. He rubbed a hand against the spot where Tubbo hit him, trying to soothe the lingering pain.
***
To Tommy's credit, he did try to talk to his foster brothers and father, but the three of them were stubborn, and refused to give anything up.
Tommy lifted a hand and knocked on Wilbur's door. The gesture felt foreign -- normally he'd just barge right in, but with all the avoiding he'd been doing lately, he felt obligated to.
The door opened a few seconds later. Wilbur stood on the other side, glasses askew on his face and looking like he'd just woken up. For all Tommy knew, he could have. It wasn't uncommon for Wilbur to fall asleep at his desk in the middle of the day.
"Oh," said Wilbur (and Tommy really hoped that he was just tired and that wasn't disappointment in his voice), "Hey, Toms."
"Hi, Wil."
They stood in silence for a minute.
"Do you-"
"You're keeping something from me," Tommy interrupted, only feeling a little bit guilty. "You and Phil and Techno. What is it?"
Wilbur's poker face was never the best, and Tommy was always especially good at reading his expressions. He could recognise the face that he made was Wilbur's 'about to tell a really shitty lie' face.
"Don't lie to me, Wilbur," Tommy pleaded. Wilbur's face fell.
"I- Tommy, I…" he sighed. He pulled his glasses off his face with one hand and pinched the bridge of his nose with the other. "I'm sorry, I can't-"
Tommy's heart sank. He turned away from Wilbur's door and walked back to his own room without a word, ignoring Wilbur calling after him.
A few hours later, he cornered Techno in the kitchen.
"Why are you and Wilbur and Phil keeping secrets from me," Tommy demanded, blocking the doorway to the living room, as if that would prevent Techno from leaving. Techno could pick him up and carry him like a sack of potatoes with no trouble.
"What secrets?" Techno asked, stirring the mashed potatoes in the pot on the stove like Tommy wasn't trying to interrogate him.
"You can't gaslight me, Technoblade. There's something you guys aren't telling me, and I want to know what it is."
"I don't know what you're talkin' about."
Techno turned off the burner on the stove and transferred the potatoes to a serving bowl. He stuck a serving spoon in the bowl and started walking towards the dining room.
"Mind settin' the table, Theseus?"
Tommy bristled at the nickname, but trudged over and grabbed plates and silverware to set the table anyway. It wouldn't do any good to argue if Techno wasn't going to admit anything.
He confronted Phil in his office, just after midnight.
It was eerily similar to the night Tommy found out about all this shit, except there's no file on Phil's desk anymore, and Phil himself was there this time, sitting at his desk with papers spread out in front of him.
Phil looked up from the paper he was signing to look at Tommy, and he smiled softly. It made Tommy's stomach roll. Phil tucked the papers away in a filing cabinet before turning his full attention to Tommy.
"Hey, mate," Phil said soothingly.
"'Ow do," Tommy responded, lingering in the doorway. Phil quirked a brow at him.
"You can come in, if you want, Toms."
Tommy noded stiffly. He made his way into the office and sat down in a chair on the opposite side of the desk as Phil. He looked a bit confused about Tommy's choice of seat (there were others that were much more comfortable elsewhere in the room), but didn't question him.
"Whatcha need, mate?" Tommy didn't respond, nerves making his stomach protest. Confronting Wilbur and Techno had been one thing. Phil was a whole other ballgame. When Tommy stayed silent, Phil's brows furrowed. "Did you have a nightmare?"
Mutely, Tommy shook his head.
"Then… what's up? Are you sick?" Tommy shook his head again.
"I-" Tommy swallowed around the lump in his throat. "I wanted to ask you something."
"Shoot."
"What are you guys hiding from me?"
Phil went still, wings not even twitching. He seemed to study Tommy's face for a bit, before he relaxed back in his chair.
"We can't tell you, mate. I promise it's nothing bad, though."
Promises meant nothing to Tommy. They were always broken. Nausea rolled in his gut, threatening to have his dinner make a reappearance.
"Okay, Phil."
Phil tilted his head at him, looking especially birdlike. Tommy might've laughed, had the situation been different, if Phil wasn't trying to get rid of him. The lump in his throat blocked it from escaping.
"C'mere, kiddo," Phil opened his arms, offering a hug.
Tommy choked down the automatic 'I'm not a kid' response that tried to crawl its way up his throat. Hesitantly, nervously, he stood from his chair, rounded the desk, and allowed Phil to wrap his arms around him.
He let out a shuddering breath, resting his face in the crook of his father's Phil's neck. With dawning horror, Tommy realised there were tears leaking into Phil's shirt.
He tried to pull away, but Phil's hold was unrelenting. Somehow, though, Tommy didn't feel trapped.
"It's okay to cry, mate," Phil said, rubbing circles in his back. "Just let it out."
And that was Tommy's last straw.
He grabbed the back of Phil's shirt like a lifeline, as though it was the only thing keeping him tethered to the earth. Maybe it was, Tommy didn't know. He tucked his face infinitely farther into Phil's neck, and he broke.
Tommy didn't know why Phil was being so nice to him. Butter him up before shipping him away? Make the hurt worse when it eventually came? Maybe Phil was just some kind of sick bastard.
But… Tommy had to admit, this was nice. He decided he'd cherish it while it lasted.
He wasn't sure when he and Phil sank down to the floor, or when he started wailing in earnest, but some time later, Tommy blinked away the last of his tears and swallowed against his raw throat. He pulled out of Phil's hold, and this time, he let Tommy go.
There was a patch of wetness on Phil's shoulder. Shame burned in his chest.
Phil must've seen what Tommy was looking at, because he said, "Don't worry about it, Tommy. It'll wash out."
Tommy nodded, but the words didn't really register.
His eyelids were growing heavy, his throat hurt from sobbing, and he had a headache -- probably of dehydration.
Between one blink and the next, Tommy found himself off the floor and in Phil's arms (when had he stood up?).
"Let's get you to bed."
Tommy was too drained to argue.
Before they'd even made it out of Phil's office, Tommy's eyes slipped shut against his will.
When he opened his eyes next, he was laying in his bed. Sunlight was streaming through the windows, and there was a glass of water on his nightstand that wasn't there before.
***
Tommy stayed home from school that day; Phil had called him in sick so he could, quote 'take a mental health day'. Phil had brought him lunch -- since he missed breakfast -- and let him eat it in bed, then set up the TV in his room with a DVD player and the Up DVD. After the credits rolled, Tommy decided it was his favourite movie.
Other than that, though, Phil mostly left him alone.
A part of Tommy was glad to be left to his own devices. He didn't need Phil going full mother-hen on him, he didn't want to be doted on by the very same man who was going to send him back to his social worker without a thought for what Tommy might want.
Another part of Tommy, the selfish, childish part that he hated to acknowledge, wanted Phil to wrap him up in his jet black wings and never let go.
Tommy made sure to keep that part of him sealed away under lock and key.
He went downstairs for dinner, and some of the tension from the past week seemed to have lifted. Wilbur and Phil were chatting calmly, and Techno read his book, occasionally chiming in on the conversation.
Tommy allowed himself this one night to be a little selfish.
He ignored the looming threat of getting kicked out, and let himself experience a bit of normalcy. Just a bit.
He talked with his family, joked and laughed and stole food off Techno's plate and kicked Wilbur's legs under the table. It felt good.
He went to bed smiling, but his heart ached.
***
"I did talk to them!" Tommy shouted, face buried in his hands. "They told me jack fucking shit!"
Ranboo, sitting on the bench to Tommy's right, awkwardly patted his back in sympathy. His traitorous mind insisted that Phil's back rubs were better. Tommy thought that part of his brain could fuck off.
"Well… at least you tried?" Ranboo said, the statement coming out as more of a question. Tommy groaned into his hands.
"It's probably not as bad as you're making it out to be, bossman," Tubbo said flippantly, typing at a, frankly, inhuman speed.
Tommy pulled his head out of his hands, staring at his friend incredulously.
"You're saying you think they're not trying to get rid of me?"
"Yes, that's what I'm saying, Tommy."
In all honesty, the thought that they weren't going to kick him out hadn't even crossed his mind. Between all the secret-keeping, the tension, the goddamned file, it was all too similar to how previous foster families would act before sending him away.
Maybe they weren't going to send him away-
Just as quickly as the idea planted itself in his brain, Tommy ripped it out with all the ferocity of a feral raccoon.
"No."
"...No what?"
"No, that's not right," Tommy insisted. "This is the exact same as all the other foster homes. They're gonna kick me out."
Ranboo leaned into his line of sight, allowing Tommy to see the worried look on their face.
"You sound like you want to be put back in the system, Tommy…"
He reeled back like he'd been slapped, accidentally shoving Ranboo off the bench in the process.
Ranboo landed on the ground with an 'oof'. Tommy spluttered in a fruitless attempt to deny the accusation and save face.
"I- ugh- Ranboo, big man, going back into the system is my worst fucking nightmare," he finally managed to stammer out. He offered a hand to pull the other teen to their feet, doing so with only a small amount of difficulty.
"Then why are you so insistent on getting kicked out of the Minecraft's house?" Tubbo pushed, shutting his laptop and focusing his full attention on Tommy.
And Tommy…
He didn't know.
Maybe it's because that's what every other house had done. Maybe it's because it's become an inevitability to Tommy. Maybe it's because the Minecraft's were just too nice to him, and it couldn't last forever.
Maybe it's because he's scared of finally having a home.
Instead of voicing his thoughts, Tommy just said, "I don't know."
He tried to ignore the sad, pitying looks on his friends' faces.
***
Things fell back into some kind of normal after that.
On the drive home, he demanded the aux cord and blasted Able Sisters as loud as the speakers would go. He didn't fight Wilbur for shotgun, but made a point to kick the back of his seat until Wilbur made a valiant attempt to climb into the back and throttle him. Techno, somehow, didn't crash the car in the chaos.
This was why Techno was the designated driver.
When they got home, Phil was waiting on the couch with fresh popcorn and 'a bunch of pirated movies burned on DVD's', as Phil put it. Tommy said they should watch Up. Wilbur and Techno shouted out their protests. Or, well, Wilbur shouted his protests, Techno just said they should watch Immortals instead.
Phil wordlessly put Up in the DVD player.
Tommy's convinced it was even better upon a second watch.
They watched three more movies before the night was over. After the fourth bowl of popcorn spilled everywhere when Wilbur tried to steal it from Phil, they didn't make any more. Tommy did not pout about that, he swore.
About halfway through the second-to-last movie -- something about two girls and their dad moving into a new house, and there were forest spirits or something? -- Tommy fell asleep on Techno's shoulder.
He didn't mean to, really! But… being surrounded by his family set him at ease. Techno was warm (as Nether hybrids tended to be), and with his arm wrapped around Tommy's shoulders, he felt safe, like nothing could ever hurt him.
Wilbur, and Tommy's sure it's him from the calluses on his fingers, ran a hand through his hair, using blunt nails to scritch at his scalp.
Tommy thought he understood why cats like head scratches, now.
Distantly, he noted a brief flash of light and a camera shutter sound -- someone just took a photo of him -- but Tommy could't find it in himself to care.
He fell asleep, his brothers at his sides, and he felt safe.
He woke up sometime later to hushed voices, he grumbled a bit at being woken up, but a hand ran through his hair again, and he quieted. He almost slipped back into unconsciousness, but the sound of his name kept him awake.
"-do you think Tommy's ready?" That's Phil's voice, Tommy noted.
Wait, ready for what?
Wilbur answered before Tommy could get his mouth to work and ask.
"God, I hope so. I can't wait until we aren't fostering him anymore, Phil, you have no idea how long I've wanted this."
Tommy's heart stopped.
"I know, Wil. I can't wait either."
The early stages of rigour mortis must've just kicked in, because Tommy found all his muscles tensing and joints locking up.
His family (not his not his never his) really did want him gone. They were getting rid of him, kicking him out and sending him back to his social worker. Back into the system that had chewed him up and spit him out over and over again.
Back to the system that they'd promised he'd never have to see again.
This was why Tommy didn't believe in promises.
He could still hear Wilbur and Phil talking, but the words had become nothing but white noise to Tommy's ears.
They didn't want him. They haven't for a while, if Wilbur's words were to be believed.
He thought he had finally found his home.
A hand -- warmer than Wilbur's and larger than Phil's, Techno's then -- shook him out of his stupor.
"Uhh, kid? You alright?"
He forgot he was lying on Techno.
Tommy shot to his feet, ignoring the startled shouts from his family the three of them. There were credits rolling on the TV screen, a cheery tune coming from the speakers. It didn't match Tommy's mood at all.
"Tommy, mate, what's wrong?"
"You okay, Toms?"
"Theseus?"
Tommy spun around and stared them all down. He ignored the sting behind his eyes, the cavern that replaced his stomach, the vice gripping his heart. His breaths came to him in short gasps, oxygen never seeming to reach his lungs.
They all looked worried. Tommy wonders how they all became such good actors.
"Tommy-"
Tommy ran.
He was out the door before any of them could even make it off the couch. He was barefoot, rocks digging into the soles of his feet. He was still short of breath, and his lungs burned from exertion. Tears blurred his vision. The air was still chilly, not cold like in winter, but not necessarily warm either. He wasn't wearing a sweatshirt when he ran out the door, left in just a t-shirt.
It's one that Phil bought for him, he bitterly noted.
He wasn't quite sure where he was going, all he knew was that he needed to get far, far away from that house.
Over the sound of his bare feet hitting the pavement, he heard a shout. It sounded like Techno, possibly calling his name, or just screaming obscenities at him, Tommy would never know.
Another shout, this one closer and sounding a lot like Phil, came from above him.
Shit, he forgot Phil had fucking wings.
Tommy realised that as long as Phil had eyes on him, he wouldn't be able to escape.
A half-baked plan began to form in his mind, and Tommy took a sharp left, cutting through a random front lawn and hopping the fence into the back garden.
Now this was something Tommy's familiar with. Running away from authority, climbing fences and slight trespassing? Easy. He could do it all day.
Well, not literally, his legs would give out after an hour, but it was the thought that counted.
Tommy scrambled up another fence and kept running.
There was a forest at the edge of the neighbourhood; if he could get there, it would obscure Phil's bird's eye view and force him to go on foot. Hopefully, it would also confuse Techno and Wilbur enough for him to get away. Even if Tommy didn't know the woods, he'd bet he could find a climbable tree that he could hide in until they left.
He didn't have a plan for what to do after that, but he'd cross that bridge when he got there.
"Tommy!" He heard Phil yell, closer than before. He was gaining on him.
Tommy flung himself off course, diving under a deck behind a random house. He pressed his hands to his mouth, muffling his gasping breaths.
"Phil!" He heard Techno call, "Did ya see where he went?!"
"No! He just bloody vanished!"
The sound of Phil's wingbeats strayed further from his hiding spot, his and Techno's voices growing fainter. Tommy's breathing was finally under some kind of control. He scrambled out from under the deck and continued his mad dash for the forest.
He hopped a couple more fences before Phil spotted him again. He was barely keeping himself on his feet, stumbling every few steps and barely getting any air in his lungs anymore. Black spots danced at the edges of his vision.
He tripped.
Tommy landed face first in the middle of the street, hands and knees scraping against the asphalt.
Desperately, he clambered back to his feet. He was almost at the woods, now, he only needed to climb one more fence and he'd be there.
"Phil! Techno!" That was Wilbur's voice, where did he come from? "Stop chasing him, he's clearly scared!"
Tommy chanced a glance backward.
In the street, Wilbur sat in the driver's seat of Techno's car, leaning halfway out the window and shouting at Phil and Techno, who had also turned to look at him. Tommy could hear his heartbeat racing in his ears as he realised how close Phil and Techno got to catching him.
"But, Wil-"
"No, Techno. Leave him be. He'll come back when he's ready."
Tommy swallowed back bile that had risen in his throat. 'When he's ready', Wilbur said, not 'if'.
They expected him to come crawling back like a scared little kid.
Yeah, like that was gonna happen.
Tommy turned his back on his former foster family and darted into the forest.
Day 19: Enough is enough
Prompt: Knees buckling.
False experiences her first Bedwars match. (Prequel to chapter 14)
Read it here or on AO3!
@whumptober-archive
The iron sword felt awkwardly big in her hands. She’d fought with them plenty of times before but for some reason this one felt differently. She gave it an experimental swing. The balance was off. That was the problem. When she’d make them the balance was less well distributed. It was a well made sword, she had to admit.
Her manager cleared his throat. Mentor, she mentally corrected herself. Void would know what trouble she’d be in if she accidentally called him her manager when people were around. She put the training sword back down and looked up at him.
“Since I know you’re somewhat competent,” she could hear the venom behind the way he said ‘somewhat’, “you’re doing duo matches today. Bedwars.” he finished.
False couldn’t help but frown a little. “But I have nobody to team with…” she responded quietly.
“So? Random matchups exist.” her mentor responded callously. False knew there was no use in protesting. This was the deal she’d made. Her friend’s freedom for hers. Her mentor lead her over to the portal. From there she’d be teleported directly into the waiting room for the next match. He would be watching her from the spectator and betting area. “Go.” he leaned down. “Impress me.” and with that she was shoved into the portal.
She stumbled into the waiting room. A quick glance at the timer showed less than a minute until the next match. Most people there were clearly already in duos. They probably knew each other. She didn’t have enough time to try and spot other lone wolfs before she was teleported again into the match.
She stood next to a taller man with dark brown hair. There was barely enough room in the glass cage for the two of them. He groaned. “Great. I got teamed with a child. This isn’t the children's league or a casual game kid. Why are you here?!”
False cleared her throat. “I’m not a child.” she lied. It was a very transparent lie. Even with her being tall for her age there was no way anybody would think she was over 15. And that was being generous. “And I know this isn’t a casual game. I’m here for the same reason you are. The name’s FalseSymmetry. What’s yours?” she asked, pouring as much confidence as she could into her words.
He rolled his eyes. “I don’t care enough about you to give it.” he snapped.
The glass underneath her vanished. While her partner fell down and landed with practised grace she stumbled down and nearly twisted her ankle. “Cover the bed. I’m going to the middle.” her partner said, already grabbing iron and gold and trading it for blocks and some simple armour. False shakily got up and grabbed the leftovers. Void, this was overwhelming. She knew enough about the game to get by but she wasn’t confident. Seeing the void so close to her made her stomach do flips. She quickly covered the bed with blocks and got herself a set of armour, a pickaxe and an iron sword. By the time she was done her partner was already back and rushing off towards the team next to them. With nothing left to do on the island she sighed and followed him. He seemed to notice but didn’t comment which False counted as a win.
Then they ran into their first opponents. Her partner managed to kill the first one and send him back to their spawn point but the second one ran around him and caught False off guard. She put up a valiant effort, getting them down to two hearts before she felt the final stab of the sword pierce her armour. In a blink she was back on her island. Phantom pains shot through her stomach where she’d just been stabbed. She was still shaking and the respawn didn’t help. Her communicator buzzed and she looked down to see that her teammate had destroyed a bed. Good. One down. She quickly traded for armour and a weapon again and rushed back over to him. But by the time she’d arrived he’d already cleaned the team. “You’re late.” he snapped.
“Sorry.” she said meekly.
“Can it. On to the next team.” he said. Without waiting for her he ran off again. False sprinted after him but catching up was hard since he was a lot taller than her.
This time she managed to get one person down before she was thrown into the void by the second one. Freezing cold wrapped around her body and choked her until the world went black for a second. When she respawned back at the island her knees almost gave out. She had only gone down twice and she was already exhausted. Quickly grabbing new armour and tools she ran off again.
But she’d only gotten about halfway before a new, much scarier notification popped up.
TEAM RED’S BED IS DESTROYED
Team red? Team red! She was team red! She froze. At least until her partner came running by. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THE BED YOU LITTLE SHIT!”
“I DID PROTECT THE BED!” she snapped back, following him.
He stopped, making False run into him. “You know what? Fuck this man.” he said.
It was the last thing he said to her before he pushed her off into the void.
She smacked back into the lobby. When she tried to get up her knees buckled and she dropped back down to them. Her eyes went up to the leaderboard of the match. In the quick pace of the game she hadn’t had the time to keep track of the other players and deaths. The rankings surprised her. She’d ended up being 5th.
“Not bad.” her mentor’s voice made her jump. He hauled her back to her feet. “5th on your first match? Not nearly as bad as I expected.” she didn’t like the way he was smiling. “Maybe I got lucky when you traded places with your little friend.” he took a closer look at her. “5 minutes. Then I’m sending you in for the next match.”
This was going to be a long day.
This includes the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and mobile devices. In the case of the Bedrock edition, it does not discriminate against any platform, just add your friends and play along. Consoles do not have the Minecraft javascript edition. Some platforms by default come with a particular edition that cannot be changed. Note: Minecraft of different versions cannot be used to play together. Add your friends, and wait for them to accept the invite, once they do, they will immediately join you in the game. On this new window, you will see “Find Cross-Platform Friends” click on it. You’ll notice the option “Invite to Game.” Click on that option to pop up another window. Log in to your Microsoft account, create a new world or re-load the one you are already using, and open your in-game menu. If you already have a Microsoft account, then follow this process. You will need a Microsoft account to achieve this. So the next question is, how do you add your friends to Minecraft? The Bedrock edition allows you to play the game with anyone, no matter the device they are using to play, so long as you have Bedrock Edition. For those using the JavaScript version, you can only play the game on specific devices, you cannot make use of cross-play if your device is not supported. Minecraft currently works only on two editions, namely JavaScript and Bedrock editions. The way Minecraft is built, it has all the necessary features that make it a good multiplayer game. Studies have shown that one of the things that people love about it is its ability to be played by multiple players. His message blended in with a sea of simular ones.Minecraft is going viral and is gaining huge fans globally. His avatar was a neon pink fox/wolf/deer/bird/rat/toilet hybrid. The next day, John joined Lifeboat again. His bedroom door opened.Īs they approached him, John screamed for God to have mercy on him, but since I am the narrator (basically god of this story) and unmerciful, nobody answered his cries. Suddenly, he heard his front door open, and a mob of people (Animals? Creatures? I don't know.) rush upstairs. He stared off into the void for a bit, processing what just happened. all the furries turned and looked at him. Suddenly, the convention/lobby fell silent. So, in a last ditch effort, he asked in the active chat, "What's going on here?" He tried to close Minecraft, but his computer wouldn't let him. He was kicked right back to the lobby, which changed into a furry convention hall with posters of unmentionable horror everywhere. He tried to just join Bedwars, but he couldn't. But, he began to grow a bit suspicious when the usually silent chat was flooded with a torrential downpour of "UwU" and "OwO" and "OwO what's this?" He didn't really care about what skins people wore, as long as they weren't completely naked or something. "Is the server broken or something? Did my wifi drop?"įor at that moment, about twenty players joined at once. "What the heck?" he thought as he stared at his crappy four-year-old laptop's screen. The lobby, which was usually bustling with people selecting their favorite game or just staring off into the distance blankly, was completely empty, save for himself.
Lifeboat for minecraft windows 10#
John joined his favorite server, Lifeboat Network, because he was a filthy, smelly Windows 10 edition user. not well at all.įor on that day, Minecraft was raided by furries. Little did he know, this would not end well for him. John was playing Minecraft one day, because Minecraft was his favorite game, obviously.
🔥 Minecraft Cracked servers - server list
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 What are the best Minecraft servers? One of the great triumphs of Minecraft's formula is the playerbase's freedom to create their own public servers for others to join and play alongside friends and strangers alike. The polish and creativity of the top Minecraft servers has only risen over the past 10 years of Minecraft's lifetime, and now the best servers are incredible havens filled with hundreds or thousands of players, dozens of worlds and game modes, and a host of quality of life features and interesting features that make Minecraft a very different place from your private vanilla world. In this guide we'll walk you through some of the very best Minecraft servers for 1. Each of these servers offers a different Minecraft experience, so you can have a read through what each one offers and join whichever server is best for you. Give the server a name, click Done, and join the server. Server IP Address: mc. Okay, let's get the obvious out of the way; after all, how could we have a Minecraft servers list without talking about Hypixel, the venerable titan of Minecraft servers? Whether you're interested in PvP and competitive Minecraft or a more relaxed and independent survival experience, Hypixel has about a dozen different modes for you to choose from, all presented through an easy-to-use inventory interface. Whatever kind of Minecraft player you are, whether you want to spend your time fighting players, fighting mobs like Slimes , mining for Diamonds , or creating fantastic Minecraft builds , you'll find something to love at Hypixel. That's what brings in tens of thousands of players day after day. Server IP Address: top. Complex Gaming is often found at the top of many 1. It's a wildly popular series of servers which focuses primarily on various Pixelmon offerings, so if you're interested in catching, training, fighting, and trading, then Complex Gaming is an obvious choice for you. But as well as Pixelmon, this server also offers a variety of survival, creative, factions, and prison servers to help cater to all tastes. Server IP Address: org. TheArchon is another incredibly popular multi-faceted Minecraft 1. It's got a refreshing no-nonsense attitude that just allows you to dive right into whatever you like within the first few seconds of joining the server for the first time - but there's a particular emphasis on PvP modes here. You may want to take a look at our list of Minecraft texture packs to give you an edge over other players in PvP, or check out our towers and castle builds if you want to get to work on building some defenses. Server IP Address: mccentral. MCCentral is another Minigames and multimodal server that has a condensed but still very comprehensive selection of different modes, each usually with multiple servers available. There's a fully functional shared Creative Mode server which resets every day, where you can go to test out your Creative and WorldEdit skills. Plus, their lobby looks fantastic - particularly with good Minecraft shaders enabled. Server IP Address: topsc. JartexNetwork is a popular and growing server filled with all the same sorts of minigames and modes as its rivals. Everything on JartexNetwork feels polished: the server controls are intuitive, the servers themselves are solid, the game modes are well-chosen and well-designed. It's a great alternative to the more venerable titans on this list, and is certainly stable enough for a quest to defeat the Wither and get the Nether Star, which you'll need to make a Beacon. Server IP Address: bedwars. Blockdrop Network is another very popular variety server, but it specialises in Bedwars - a game mode which requires you to protect your bed and destroy other players' beds to win. Recently they've also added "City Life", a unique Sims -style game mode with rentable apartments, jobs, salaries, and everything else you need for a bit of good old escapism. Server IP Address: hub. If you're after Skyblock shenanigans above all else, MineSuperior should be your first stop. This popular 1. Everything is easily accessible and clear, meaning you can start playing what you want to play straight away. Server IP Address: play. If the phrases "semi-vanilla", "nature-themed", and "help each other" appeal to you, then WilderCraft might be your best choice in this entire list of Minecraft servers. Within the spectrum of public Minecraft survival servers, it's pretty much the opposite of anarchy servers like Minewind: the emphasis here is on collaboration and community, and working together to build and achieve lots of cool stuff. For those looking to meet new players and have a more down-to-earth, relaxed survival experience, WilderCraft is ready and waiting. Applecraft is a survival server, through and through. Well, okay, there's a little parkour minigame accessible from the lobby, but otherwise the point is to play a more-or-less vanilla survival game of Minecraft alongside hundreds of others in a colossal , x , world. It'll take you an awful lot of fully-zoomed-out Minecraft maps to fully explore that many blocks! So if you're more interested in traditional Minecraft than all the Factions and Skyblock stuff floating about these days, then Applecraft might be for you. The Seed is another attempt to bring Minecraft servers back to the traditional vanilla survival experience. It's almost entirely vanilla: the only additions are the ability to protect your houses and builds from griefers, the ability to warp to different locations not for free, though! Another Minecraft server which offers a variety of survival experiences from vanilla to Skyblock, Datblock has the extra attraction of a series of unique concepts for survival experiences that we haven't seen the likes of anywhere else. The ambitious Datearth mode is played out on a map of the Earth, and offers "a geopolitical game with towns, nations and war", while the equally novel Datmars throws you onto a near-inhospitable rock reminiscent of the Martian surface, where you are tasked with surviving - if at all possible. CubeCraft features a smaller but arguably more intricately crafted selection of minigames and modes than most Minecraft servers can offer. I've been having a tonne of fun with their absolutely massive selection of parkour maps, with multiple themes each containing various levels across three different modes of difficulty. And that's just parkour. The other modes CubeCraft offers are similarly elaborate and well-designed, with hundreds of players at any given time logging into SkyWars, Tower Defence, Archer Assault, or any of the other modes in their rotating selection of popular games. And with that, we conclude our Minecraft servers guide. Hopefully you found a server or two that you like the sound of, and are now joyously off building sky-fortresses or maniacally chopping down enemy beds. If you're looking to gain more of an edge in combat, be sure to consult our comprehensive guides on Potions and Enchantments in Minecraft. The Best Minecraft Survival Servers
Since its release all the way back in 2011, Minecraft has become one of the most popular games in the world. This popularity has reached new heights in recent years, due to a large number of players returning to the game amid global pandemic-induced lockdowns. Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities. There are many server-created Minecraft servers available for you to explore, including survival servers.
These servers can range in playstyle, but one of the most popular categories is Minecraft Survival servers. This is because they offer intricately woven worlds that are hard to scale and even more challenging to conquer.
Finding the right world for you, however, can be tricky. Each server has different worlds, different quirks, and different threats. Have no fear though - we've got the rundown of the best Minecraft survival servers right here for you.
Starting off our list on a high note, we feature one of the most recognizable names within the Minecraft survival server list. Hypixel was originally founded back in 2013 and has since grown into one of the world's largest Minecraft servers.
The Hypixel server also features some original games, as opposed to the standard Bedwars and Skyblock mini-games we are going to touch on later. Mega Walla and Blitz Survival are just some of the games that players can check out while adventuring within this amazing server.
It is hard not to create a top survival server list for 2021 and not include the world's most popular server, and this, of course, is Mineplex. This server has an ample amount of games for players to check out, and it is really hard to find yourself wondering what game to check out next.
Players are able to battle it out with other players, or they can check out Mineplex's recreation of the classic Mario Kart title in the form of Minekart. Mineplex is one of the best servers we have ever seen, and we can only assume the server is going to continue to grow as the year's progress down the line.
Mineville
IP: hub.mineville.org
Coming in next is one of the servers that features an ample amount of mini-games such as Skyblock, Factions, and Prison. https://minecraft-servers.cc/ Mineville offers all of these mini-games along with other features such as:
- Custom Enchantments - Player Levels - mcMMO - Jobs - Marriage - Coin Flips - PvP Arenas - Crates, Ranks, Sell Chests, Trench Tools, & more - Ancient Trials - Races
There is a lot to do within this server, and the community behind the Mineville server is one of the most supportive ones out there.
Herobrine
IP: herobrine.org
Another classic Minecraft survival server is the next entry on our list, Herobrine is also one of the longest-running servers, and this in large part due to the amazing games and attention to detail within the server.
The server offers some of the classic mini-games you might expect out of a Minecraft survival server, but they also offer one of the best Bed Wars iterations we have seen so far.
IP: Us.miningdead.com
The Mining Dead is a Minecraft survival server that breaks away from the usual Minecraft servers. It takes its inspiration from The Walking Dead. Set in an apocalypse style world, the main goal within this server is to simply survive.
Starting out with nothing in your inventory, you must roam around the desolate city to try and gather as many resources as you can in order to fend off the zombies.
So, that's it for our best Minecraft survival servers list. Be sure to check back soon, however, as we'll continue to update this list as more servers appear. If you're looking for other servers to join, you can check out PCGamesN's best Minecraft servers guide.
Kodzuken x Streamer!Y/N
Pairing: Kenma Kozume x Fem!Reader
Genre: SMAU, Written Elements, Strangers to Lovers, Romance, Fluff, Humor, Friendship, Hurt/Comfort, Streamer/Youtuber AU
Upcoming content creator/streamer, Y/N, has gone viral for lots of things. Her infamous dumb moments, her blended cookie recipe (which tastes better than it sounds), the way she rages at her friends during games, and about a hundred more.
But her most recent viral moment? Accidentally knocking famous streamer, Kodzuken, off the Bedwars map and making him lose his two year winning streak.
Now with more attention (and hate) than she ever asked for, her only option left is to go to the source: the man himself, Kenma Kozume.
Chapter 2 (b): Boredom
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Word Count: 2187
It’s been an hour since Kenma started streaming, and he’ll admit that he’s starting to get a bit bored. He usually enjoys playing Bedwars on stream but he’s been doing it so often lately that it’s beginning to get repetitive.
“What the hell is this guy doing,” he asks as he notices someone start building a tower of blocks on the emerald island. Kenma sprints over to the player, jumping up to knock him off the tower.
“Hype_boy2000 was killed by Kodzuken!”
“People that play minecraft are brainless sometimes I swear to god,” he hears Kuroo mutter in his headset.
Despite living together, his best friend usually only joins the stream via voice call, so he can interact with Kenma’s viewers and still be comfortable in his own room. Kenma honestly actually prefers this, it’s easier to hear him and he doesn’t have to worry about his roommate doing anything dumb in front of the camera.
He shakes his head, “You play minecraft.”
“Exactly!”
Kenma snorts, taking a quick glance at his chat to see how his audience is feeling.
Kodzuken is a GOD
People who play mc are losers🙄🙄🙄 (I play mc)
I’m not bad at the game but watching Kenma makes me feel like I am 💀
He looks bored
His eyebrows furrow then because he’s almost completely positive that he’s hiding his feelings well enough for no one to notice. Apparently he’s not.
He feels something tug at his neck and briefly looks down to see what it is, resisting a smile at the sight of one of the younger cats, Mars, playing with the drawstring of his hoodie. “Do we wanna try playing something else after this?”
“Why? You gettin’ bored of winning all the time,” his roommate teases and Kenma has to force himself not to react to his words because he might just be joking but he’s hit the nail right on the head.
Kenma pretends he doesn’t hear him as he kills the last player (winning himself yet another game),“I’ll go one more round and then we can figure out something else to play.”
OMG do you guys see the paw????
SHOW US THE CATS
We wanna see the cats
“I think the only reason you’re famous is because we have a million cats,” Kuroo announces and Kenma can almost see the accompanying eye roll.
“I’m fine with that,” he shrugs. “But I guess I can show you guys the cats before we start.”
He changes his scene in OBS so that it’s only showing his camera, making sure he’s in full view before he scoops up the bengal cat still sitting in his lap. “This is Mars, we got him like a month ago. How old is he? Um like five months I think?”
He sets him back down on his desk, “There’s only like four cats in here right now by the way.”
ONLY FOUR???
How many cats does he have lol
“I think there’s like fifteen in the house right now,” Kenma’s head unconsciously tilts as he silently counts all their cats. “No- wait. Seventeen now, plus however many Minnie will have when she gives birth.”
“Yeah but don’t worry we have three different rooms in the house for them, plus the loft and then the house itself is three stories.” Kuroo chimes in, defending Kenma’s apparent obsession despite the fact that he supposedly doesn’t care. “And then we have like ten cat towers and eight litter robots.”
EIGHT?????
Oh so they’re rich rich
Half of those litter boxes would pay all my bills 💀
“Anyways um-,” Kenma pauses to reach for the orange cat currently laying in the cat bed beside his desk. “This is Enji, she’s been with us for three years now and she’s five years old.” Enji meows in disapproval as Kenma picks her up and tries to show her to the camera. She fights against him, her claws digging into his forearms and making him grimace. “She doesn’t like being picked up.”
As if on cue Enji jumps out of his arms and lays right back down in the bed, eyeing Kenma like he’s just committed some sort of grave sin.
“Well now that she hates me,” he shoots the camera a look, “Let’s go grab another one.”
He stands from his chair, taking a cursory glance throughout the room to spot any other animals lingering. “Oh-,” he notices a ball of fluff hiding in the cat tower sitting in the corner of his streaming room.
Miomi is much more willing to be picked up, her purrs echoing throughout the room as he cradles her in his arms and walks back to his desk. “This is Miomi, she’s a ragdoll obviously.”
“She’s my favorite,” Kuroo suddenly chimes in. “Literally so cuddly I love it.”
“She is very sweet,” Kenma agrees as he strokes the cat’s stomach. She blinks up at him slowly, her purrs lessening as she drifts back to sleep. “We’ve had her the longest, ever since we moved in.”
Kenma gently moves to set her back into the cat tower, to which she stretches only once before immediately falling right back asleep. He then looks up towards the cat shelves he’d put on his walls a few years ago, snorting when he spots exactly who he was expecting to find up there.
“Come here little buddy,” he coaxes the animal into his hands who meows in protest as his little paws reach out to cling onto his shoulders. And Kenma is just barely able to move into the camera frame before he starts practically screaming. “This is void,” he pauses to lightly pat his head, knowing that usually helps to calm him down. “Any guesses as to why we named him that?” The question is entirely rhetorical.
“Dude he’s like blending into your fucking sweatshirt,” Kuroo suddenly laughs.
Kenma leans forward to look at the viewfinder of his camera, “Holy shit he is.”
Void starts meowing again at the change in position and Kenma can feel himself flinch from how loud it is. “Hey hey hey, it’s okay. You’re okay,” he swiftly places him back on the shelf.
“That’s all the cats in here,” Kenma tells his viewers as he sits back down. “I might do a full video introducing everyone but it would just take a while to film because a few of them like going outside a lot.”
“Yeah I haven’t seen Binx inside in like two months,” his roommate further adds.
“I see him in the backyard a lot but he’s usually sitting up on the fence,” Kenma notes as he reopens the game on his stream.
Kenma goes outside???
He went out to touch grass
Binx is such a funny name lol
He ignores their jests, running in game to play his final round of bedwars for the night. “How about a three v. three?”
“Oh yeah you haven’t played in teams in a while have you?”
“A couple months I think,” he responds as he selects the game. “What do we wanna play after this?” The streamer directs his gaze to the chat while he waits for his character to load into the game.
“I was thinking something like Spiderman, or we could play Stardew with Kuro,” he adds just as he’s spawned into the map.
“Um, hello?” His roommate’s voice is loud with disbelief.
“Hi.” Kenma takes a moment to collect as much iron and gold he needs before sprinting to get a stone sword and some wool.
“Do I get a say in this at all?”
Kenma feels his eyebrows furrow, “You realize that you’re here solely for the viewers entertainment right?”
He begins speed-bridging across to the emerald island as he hears his best friend scoff. “Fuck you.”
“No thank you,” Kenma hums as he finishes off the bridge and jumps into one of the emerald spawners.
“Sometimes I wonder why we’re friends,” while the words themselves are mean, both men know that Kuroo is entirely joking as he says it.
Kenma subconsciously nods, “All the time.”
He spots another player from a distance and moves to crouch behind a pile of blocks next to the spawner. “I think my strat is to just kinda run and kill everyone and let my teammates worry about the bed,” he explains.
The player passes by then and Kenma manages to take him out within a few simple hits, as he usually does. He looks over at the chat, expecting the same praise he always receives after getting a kill but is entirely thrown off by seeing a completely random topic of conversation instead.
AHHHHH IT’S Y/N
Most unexpected duo ever💀
I was literally watching her stream twenty minutes ago
Wtf is happening lol
“Y/N?” Kenma is more than confused at this point, completely lost as to who or what his chat is obsessing over.
“What’s that? Is that like the name of the map or something?”
Kenma’s in slight shock for a moment at his question because there’s no way he lives with someone as stupid as Kuroo. “You’re literally an idiot. Look at chat, dumbass.”
He decides to start making his way back to his team’s island, building a bridge to the diamonds to collect any that spawned on his way. “Oh she’s a streamer too apparently.”
“Oh really?” He turns his character to look in the general direction of their island just out of simple curiosity, only to see something totally unexpected.
He watches as one of his teammate’s suddenly jumps out from behind a giant pyramid of blocks, running towards an encroaching enemy player and knocking him into the void before they’re even able to make it onto the island.
But that’s not what makes Kenma stop and stare. It’s when the player starts jumping around, punching the air and spinning in circles as they seemingly celebrate the kill, that Kenma pauses. “What the fuck are they doing,” he hears himself mutter as he finally remembers to finish bridging to their island.
GIVE HER THE STUFF
She needs supplies to cover the beeeeedddd
Y/N kinda sweaty ngl
He blinks, “That’s Y/N?”
He runs over to her, abiding to his chat and throwing the stuff he collected on the ground in front of her (it’s not like he’s going to need any of it anyways). But she just stares at him, and he realizes that she must be dumber than he initially thought because she definitely doesn’t know what he’s doing.
He tries his best to non-verbally tell her to pick it up - which takes longer than Kenma would like - but she finally understands and runs forward to grab the items. “Holy shit,” he mutters to himself as he turns and sprints back the way he came.
He decides to start getting the beds of the enemy teams and he’s in the middle of killing the last player on the purple team when he sees a highlighted message pop up in his game chat.
“Thanks :)”
He knocks the player off, hearing the tell-tale sound of their death as he opens game chat to look back at the message. “Shouldn’t she be paying attention to the game?” He says it like he’s annoyed, and he’s sure that it comes off that way to his viewers judging by their reactions to his words.
But he’s almost certain that Kuroo is able to tell that he’s not (he’s the opposite really) when he teasingly says, “Aw, she said thank you Kenma.”
“Shut up.”
And despite always being notoriously calm on stream, Kenma’s face suddenly feels warm.
~~~
“You guys saw that right?” Kenma is in disbelief as he spectates Y/N, who’s currently just standing and not doing anything to stop the enemy player running towards her. “What the fuck is she doing now? Is her game frozen?”
Y/N doesn’t react at all as she’s being attacked and Kenma can feel his jaw literally drop when she’s abruptly killed.
“Red Team has been eliminated!"
He sits back in his chair, his eyes wide and mouth still agape as he tries to process what just happened.
He didn’t really care when she knocked him off the bridge, was even slightly impressed that she was willing to take down her own teammate to survive. But that all changed when she didn’t even try to fight back against the other player.
“We just lost,” he whispers, mostly to himself, and the sentence feels foreign on his tongue.
He can hear his roommate saying something over the headset but he can’t quite understand what it is, nor does he currently care enough to try to figure it out.
“We lost,” he repeats, louder this time and it’s insane because he feels like laughing.
He can feel himself grinning as his character loads back into the lobby, “I can’t believe we actually just lost.”
And he feels almost giddy as he watches his win streak fall all the way back down to zero; because, for the first time in two years, something is different.
And never has he ever been so happy to lose.

The Best Minecraft Survival Servers
Since its release all the way back in 2011, Minecraft has become one of the most popular games in the world. This popularity has reached new heights in recent years, due to a large number of players returning to the game amid global pandemic-induced lockdowns. Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities. There are many server-created Minecraft servers available for you to explore, including survival servers.
These servers can range in playstyle, but one of the most popular categories is Minecraft Survival servers. This is because they offer intricately woven worlds that are hard to scale and even more challenging to conquer. The One And Only
Finding the right world for you, however, can be tricky. Each server has different worlds, different quirks, and different threats. Have no fear though - we've got the rundown of the best Minecraft survival servers right here for you.
Starting off our list on a high note, we feature one of the most recognizable names within the Minecraft survival server list. Hypixel was originally founded back in 2013 and has since grown into one of the world's largest Minecraft servers.
The Hypixel server also features some original games, as opposed to the standard Bedwars and Skyblock mini-games we are going to touch on later. Mega Walla and Blitz Survival are just some of the games that players can check out while adventuring within this amazing server.
It is hard not to create a top survival server list for 2021 and not include the world's most popular server, and this, of course, is Mineplex. This server has an ample amount of games for players to check out, and it is really hard to find yourself wondering what game to check out next.
Players are able to battle it out with other players, or they can check out Mineplex's recreation of the classic Mario Kart title in the form of Minekart. Mineplex is one of the best servers we have ever seen, and we can only assume the server is going to continue to grow as the year's progress down the line.
Mineville
IP: hub.mineville.org
Coming in next is one of the servers that features an ample amount of mini-games such as Skyblock, Factions, and Prison. Mineville offers all of these mini-games along with other features such as:
- Custom Enchantments - Player Levels - mcMMO - Jobs - Marriage - Coin Flips - PvP Arenas - Crates, Ranks, Sell Chests, Trench Tools, & more - Ancient Trials - Races
There is a lot to do within this server, and the community behind the Mineville server is one of the most supportive ones out there.
Herobrine
IP: herobrine.org
Another classic Minecraft survival server is the next entry on our list, Herobrine is also one of the longest-running servers, and this in large part due to the amazing games and attention to detail within the server.
The server offers some of the classic mini-games you might expect out of a Minecraft survival server, but they also offer one of the best Bed Wars iterations we have seen so far.
IP: Us.miningdead.com
The Mining Dead is a Minecraft survival server that breaks away from the usual Minecraft servers. It takes its inspiration from The Walking Dead. Set in an apocalypse style world, the main goal within this server is to simply survive.
Starting out with nothing in your inventory, you must roam around the desolate city to try and gather as many resources as you can in order to fend off the zombies.
So, that's it for our best Minecraft survival servers list. Be sure to check back soon, however, as we'll continue to update this list as more servers appear. If you're looking for other servers to join, you can check out PCGamesN's best Minecraft servers guide.

Best Minecraft Servers 1.19: Survival, Skyblock, Bedwars, Factions, And More
Okay, let's get the obvious out of the way; after all, how could we have a Minecraft servers list without talking about Hypixel, the venerable titan of Minecraft servers? Whether you're interested in PvP and competitive Minecraft or a more relaxed and independent survival experience, Hypixel has about a dozen different modes for you to choose from, all presented through an easy-to-use inventory interface. Whatever kind of Minecraft player you are, whether you want to spend your time fighting players, fighting mobs like Slimes, mining for Diamonds, or creating fantastic Minecraft builds, you'll find something to love at Hypixel. That's what brings in tens of thousands of players day after day.
Server IP Address: top.mc-complex.com Game modes: Pixelmon, Survival, Factions, Creative
Complex Gaming is often found at the top of many 1.19 Minecraft server lists by player count, often housing thousands of concurrent players. It's a wildly popular series of servers which focuses primarily on various Pixelmon offerings, so if you're interested in catching, training, fighting, and trading, then Complex Gaming is an obvious choice for you. But as well as Pixelmon, this server also offers a variety of survival, creative, factions, and prison servers to help cater to all tastes.
Server IP Address: org.archonhq.net Game modes: Factions, Skyblock, Survival
TheArchon is another incredibly popular multi-faceted Minecraft 1.19 server with a variety of game modes, or "realms" to choose from, including regular old survival, Skyblock, Factions, Prison, and more. It's got a refreshing no-nonsense attitude that just allows you to dive right into whatever you like within the first few seconds of joining the server for the first time - but there's a particular emphasis on PvP modes here. You may want to take a look at our list of Minecraft texture packs to give you an edge over other players in PvP, or check out our towers and castle builds if you want to get to work on building some defenses.
MCCentral
Server IP Address: mccentral.org Game modes: Survival, Creative, Skyblock, Hunger Games, Minigames
MCCentral is another Minigames and multimodal server that has a condensed but still very comprehensive selection of different modes, each usually with multiple servers available. There's a fully functional shared Creative Mode server which resets every day, where you can go to test out your Creative (and WorldEdit) skills. There's a multitude of servers for Skyblock, UHC, Prison, Factions, Hunger Games, Capture The Flag, and much more. Plus, their lobby looks fantastic - particularly with good Minecraft shaders enabled.
Server IP Address: topsc.jartex.fun Game modes: Survival, Creative, Bedwars, Factions, Skyblock, Minigames
JartexNetwork is a popular and growing server filled with all the same sorts of minigames and modes as its rivals. minecraft server list Everything on JartexNetwork feels polished: the server controls are intuitive, the servers themselves are solid, the game modes are well-chosen and well-designed. It's a great alternative to the more venerable titans on this list, and is certainly stable enough for a quest to defeat the Wither and get the Nether Star, which you'll need to make a Beacon.
Blockdrop Network
Server IP Address: bedwars.games Game modes: Bedwars, Survival, Creative, Factions, Minigames
Blockdrop Network is another very popular variety server, but it specialises in Bedwars - a game mode which requires you to protect your bed and destroy other players' beds to win. Recently they've also added "City Life", a unique Sims-style game mode with rentable apartments, jobs, salaries, and everything else you need for a bit of good old escapism.
Server IP Address: hub.mcs.gg Game modes: Survival, Creative, Skyblock, Factions
If you're after Skyblock shenanigans above all else, MineSuperior should be your first stop. This popular 1.19 server is packed with variations on the standard Skyblock formula, alongside numerous other game modes if Skyblock isn't to your taste. Everything is easily accessible and clear, meaning you can start playing what you want to play straight away.
WilderCraft
Server IP Address: play.wildercraft.net Game modes: Survival
If the phrases "semi-vanilla", "nature-themed", and "help each other" appeal to you, then WilderCraft might be your best choice in this entire list of Minecraft servers. It's the opposite of anarchy Minecraft servers like Minewind. It focuses on collaboration and community, as well as working together to make and achieve cool stuff. For those looking to meet new players and have a more down-to-earth, relaxed survival experience, WilderCraft is ready and waiting.
Applecraft
Server IP Address: play.applecraftmc.org Game modes: Survival, Minigames
Applecraft is a survival server, through and through. Well, okay, there's a little parkour minigame accessible from the lobby, but otherwise the point is to play a more-or-less vanilla survival game of Minecraft alongside hundreds of others in a colossal 100,000 x 100,000 world. It'll take you an awful lot of fully-zoomed-out Minecraft maps to fully explore that many blocks! So if you're more interested in traditional Minecraft than all the Factions and Skyblock stuff floating about these days, then Applecraft might be for you.
The Seed
Server IP Address: theseedmc.com Game modes: Survival
The Seed is another attempt to bring Minecraft servers back to the traditional vanilla survival experience. It's almost entirely vanilla: the only additions are the ability to protect your houses and builds from griefers, the ability to warp to different locations (not for free, though! ), and the ability to create shops and exchange goods with other players.
Datblock
Server IP Address: play.datblock.com Game modes: Survival, Skyblock, Minigames
Another Minecraft server which offers a variety of survival experiences from vanilla to Skyblock, Datblock has the extra attraction of a series of unique concepts for survival experiences that we haven't seen the likes of anywhere else. The ambitious Datearth mode is played out on a map of the Earth, and offers "a geopolitical game with towns, nations and war", while the equally novel Datmars throws you onto a near-inhospitable rock reminiscent of the Martian surface, where you are tasked with surviving - if at all possible.
Server IP Address: play.cubecraft.net Game modes: Skyblock, Hunger Games, Minigames
CubeCraft features a smaller but arguably more intricately crafted selection of minigames and modes than most Minecraft servers can offer. I've been having a tonne of fun with their absolutely massive selection of parkour maps, with multiple themes each containing various levels across three different modes of difficulty. And that's just parkour. The other modes CubeCraft offers are similarly elaborate and well-designed, with hundreds of players at any given time logging into SkyWars, Tower Defence, Archer Assault, or any of the other modes in their rotating selection of popular games.
And with that, we conclude our Minecraft servers guide. Hopefully you found a server or two that you like the sound of, and are now joyously off building sky-fortresses or maniacally chopping down enemy beds.
