#been cycling thru this v unpleasant thought someone i care about is going to get hurt soon. i like to think it's just my long term worry #about some people building up but. well. #also i hate manhattan soooo much lmao. the amount of homeless people here makes me feel so helpless. and right in the richest neighborhoods #too. capitalism is a fucking plight. #was able to help out this one lady by getting her a gift card. keep thinking about her. she ran away from an abusive partner+ she's pregnant #her goal was $50 for the day so she could get herself a place to stay. i got her halfway there at least #hope she got the rest #right after that i walked by two different elderlyish people but like i dont carry cash on me #also honestly i barely have money myself lmao but i know they need it more than i do #but i hate having to say i cant help. i hate not helping. #another person i walked by was a 17 year old. ugh it makes me feel insane thinking about it #man.
