Endless Sky

I've only glimpsed worlds just made,

the beauty captured was almost too much for my eyes,

from a frozen tundra to a lush glade,

but my home is a desert planet where two suns rise.

It's barren on the outside,

yet underneath, in the caverns and caves

is where bountiful treasures are supplied,

gold, cobalt, silver, and platinum is what what my tool craves,

Not for the monetary value,

but so I can explore the vastness further,

I'll have more wondrous sights to show you,

while my body works the mines, my heart is that of a traveler.
