WIFI IS MINE ONCE AGAIN as i sit on a mattress on the floor

#it feels like ive been without it for so long... #it has been... three and a half days... i am Weak.... #nah jk i wouldve been find without it for much longer #but boy howdy am i Glad to be able to use my dear beloved laptop again #i am In The New Place i am Beginning To Settle #tomorrow i begin unpacking my own stuff!!! exciting!!! #i cant wait to admire all of my Things! #ohhhh and i finally have a spot on the wall for my combo whiteboard/corkboard.... #im still very stressed and i want to lay in a hole but!! #i am doing slightly better than a few days ago! #the weather has been nice... cool and rainy... i am not used to cool and rainy #its also cold and i am - unfortunately - a desert creature #suffice to say i am wearing hand warmers a hoodie and a blanket #absolutely unprompted #the place's last owner Didnt Fucking Clean though #so there have been many spiders. and cobwebs. and general Grime we will have to scrub #like seriously today i was dusting the ceiling. THE CEILING. #had to dust & vacuum the windowsills... gonna scrub my bathroom tomorrow... #theres a large tear in my bedroom carpet too... #ugh and the cabinets are Small so organizing all the spices and shit has been Rancid #stuff has to go out of place and you cant see it all and MY ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS ARE CRUMBLING #sometimes it feels like my adhd and autism are fistfighting but during a move? #lockstep babeyyyy. they are Streamlined. lots of things and lots of sorting & placing and eeheehee #i have also killed most of the freakishly huge mosquitos in the house so! things are better! #that first night was Rough! its better now! this shell is becoming a House!

once again coming back to apologize for my inactivity, I've not only been depressed but also burnt out of tumblr 🫠 I haven't been motivated to check tumblr and haven't really cared (as much as I love it here) to just reblog and wtv. Today was a really hot day (for me) and if the rest of the week or month looks like this, then definitely do not expect anything from me (especially as we ease into spring and eventually enter summer), hot weather is my mortal enemy and it's like im fighting demons nonstop whenever summer/late spring rolls around so... yea.

on top of that I just haven't used my laptop in a couple of days LMAO after the play on Saturday, I was absolutely knocked out for all of Sunday and the last two days I've been playing red dead redemption 2, which I've really been enjoying 🙃🙃 which means eventually when I get back to tumblr will probably be rbing rdr2 stuff lmao

cut is just me rambling about the next two games I'm planning on playing after rdr2

also I currently have a line of games (and by line, I mean 2 games LMAO) I'm seriously looking forward to playing on my Xbox/Laptop-

First game is skyrim, I LOVEDDDD playing it on my switch, but I haven't played it properly for sooo long, but I recently saw that skyrim is free on gamepass and will definitely be installing it on my laptop 🥹 Granted, my character in skyrim is veryyyy op and it'll be upsetting to have to restart but whatevs! I just have to do what I always do and power thru battles that are intended for higher levels- and also grind pickpocketing cuz I can NOT live without that skill LMAO

Second game is a well-loved game of mine, ARK, I've played well over 500 hours on my phone and well over 250 hours on my switch (which ofc I enjoyed infinitely more, but nothing beats the nostalgia of mobile ARK LMAO), and when I TELL you I was elated to see it for free on gamepass, I mean it cuz I was SOO giddy, of course I know rdr2 will take bloody forever to finish (at the rate I'm going) but I'm just so excited to play it, especially since I think all the expansions are free as well, which means I can play genesis without paying for it (since I bought the other expansions on my switch- aberration FTW btw)

#anyways! my little life update i suppose #i feel bad letting this tumblr die down #but life is life and such means that i cannot exist on tumblr 25/8 like i used to #on a diff note. i wont be posting anything about rdr2 cuz im just too lazy #and its on my xbox so trying to get screenshots from point a (xbox) to point b (laptop) will def be too tedious for me #i have to say that i am NOTT a controller savant. ive always been better at playing on keyboard and mouse #so trying to play a game like rdr2 on a controller with barely any grasp of aiming on controller... #yea its just SUCH a fun time for me 😞😞 usually i never have aim assist on but with rdr2... i have to have it on to even figure out where- #-someone is cuz i can barely bloody see with how slow the aimed sensitivity is #“you can change i-” I DID. ITS ON THE HIGHEST SETTING AND ITS STILL TOO SLOW FOR ME 😭 #im not even bad at aiming or finding ppl or wtv. i had a 2 or 3 K/D ratio on cod mobile (i was a mobile gamer for so long 😭)- #so again its just that im not well versed in using a controller cuz i normally do nott have the problems i do on keyboard and mouse- #-that i do on controller #yapping

just casually, but violin and piano (mostly piano right now)! seitz is one of my favorites to play on violin (i also love vivaldi music but sixteenth note scales are. not very relaxing) right now i'm playing around with changing the chords and tempo on a modified version of Canon in D for piano to convert it to what I call Canon in Dragon :)

#asks #not art #not silm #i find teh best way to deal with stiff wrists from using a laptop for too long is to play a moderately fast paced piano thing #duel of the fates is actually really good for stiffness! #ive been trying to do fur elise for years but unfortunately i have tiny hands and i cant do the chords/jumps fast enough #also have this problem with imperial march #like. i can barely reach the corner of an octave with my hand fully extended. i can't do that many octave chords in a row. argh #oh well maybe i should find a less painful imperial march #Canon in Dragon aka i repeated a section of the fast part and sped it up even more while slowing down the chords #im working with the short version right now because its easier to tackle for dragon-ifying #so the slow parts use nice calm chopin chords for LH and then it switches to a regular chord pattern and drops an octave #it is best played while yelling DRAGON DRAGON DRAGON #piano is fun because you can yell about dragons while playing :D

Something on the audio on my laptop is breaking down more and more and idk if I can fix it. Somehow the volume regulation doesn't work properly anymore. Like, if I have YouTube on or NaturalReaders and set the volume to what I usually have it completely ignores my settings on the next video (YT) or if I change the tab/ change to the text file/ if I pause and continue the file (NR). Which is very annoying because it's getting much louder and this loud volume is very stressful for me. If I try to adjust the volume on the Windows task bar it jumps back to the initial low volume I had, until the next video etc. changes it back to loud, so I always have to adjust it back and forth. The volume regulation on YT does almost nothing now anymore, which is new. Veeeery rarely it all works normally, but the issue seems to spread. It first started on NaturalReaders and now YT is also affected.

Couldn't figure out yet how to Google this, so haven't been able to do a lot to try to fix it. At least it doesn't seem to be the audio driver as re-installing that didn't do anything.

IVE SPENT THE PAST 12 DAYS DEALING W/FILES AND LAPTOP ISSUES (prev one) AND THATS WHY #I HAVE BEEN DEAD SILENT FOR SO LONG #well. that and the holidays #but honestly? it was mostly the act of. spending 5 - 9 hours daily exporting every single one of my CSP brushes #individually. right click. save. etc. organizing a folder for it and everything #did you know. it took my prev laptop over 72 consecutive hours backing up my CSP assets to clip's cloud feature #and even then. i couldnt even upload half of my assets cos #after almost 8 yrs of using CSP it had over 11k assets to back up #so right now im FINALLY able to download CSP on the new badboy At All #and am currently restoring said files to here #god. it was such a fucking process. it still IS such a goddamn process #its almost 8am but my face hurts So Bad (just took excedrin tho) and cannot let myself even try to sleep until the pain's subsided #god. i missed being active here. i was super dead throughout december and i think. november too #if you made it this far in the tags feel free to drop a fantroll reference and ill doodle them while i wait for these files to upload

idly thinking here but honestly i think if this blog went down then i'd just be done with tumblr forever. like.....that's it. this is the blog i've had for as long as i've had a tumblr account, i'm not built like the people who can start again and remake over and over again. it'd be a sign that i just need to be done with this website for good i think.
