slumber party!
Yandere friend group x fem!reader
Tw: none that I can think of, reader is mentioned to have a childhood author randomly thought of, you can change it in your mind if you like. Not proofread 🌺
Tumblr media
⭐you grew up with your friends, having known eachother since diapers! Your parents often left you in a daycare since they were busy with their jobs, and that's how you met Cassidy. A bright and cheerful girl, capable of lighting up a room with her toothy smile. When she saw you crying in a corner, missing your parents, she hastily snatched a couple of crayons and rushed over. Sitting next to you and holding out a pudgy hand, offering the red crayon.
"hi! I'm Cassidy! But you can call me cassie.. what's your name?"
🛍️ skipping a few years, you and Cassidy were in first grade. Obsessing over my little pony and worms, when suddenly you came across Michelle. A prickly girl you've known since kindergarten, but she was always too stuck up and bossy to ever get along with anyone. She held out a chocolate with a furrowed brow, looking flustered as she moved from side to side, the way your choir teacher hated
"can.. may i.. play with you, please..?" You swore you could hear your homeroom teacher cheering in the background
🎀it was 4th grade, you, Michelle and cassidy were in that ripe age where all boys were Icky and gross and had all types of nasty cooties. The constant squabbling and booger picking you'd see from the aforementioned solidly confirmed it. You spotted the new girl, Vivian getting harassed by the class weirdo, some Asian fetishizer. So you bravely stood up, walked over.. and tripped on your untied shoe laces, landing face first into the carpeted floor. Viv gasped and quickly rushed over to you, making sure you were alright before letting out a soft giggle
"you should be more careful.. you're y/n right? You have a very lovely name"
💀 7th grade, the emo and dragon ball z kids were making themselves known. You were laying on the classroom floor, resting your head in Vivian's lap as Michelle dangled a vine of grapes Infront of your mouth. Giggling when you obediently opened and bit one off. The giggling stopped and you opened your eyes to see a hot topic magazine boy standing over you all.
"hey! You on the other girls lap! You're my girlfriend now." "...what."
After the boy almost got his shit rocked by your scarily protective friends, you Introduced yourself "y/n" "kiross.." the girls were glaring daggers at him
💕 9th grade, you were starting to see a pattern, a new member of your group joins every few years. So you were preparing yourself mentally, all while Talking and suddenly turning around to walk backwards. Not noticing the boy you were just about to bump into. Your friends quickly rushed forward to try and catch your ass, but it was no use. You fell straight into.. a soft body. The boy you fell ontop of blinked owlishly, before realizing it was you and giving a devilish grin. surprisingly he looked hotter than most guys in your class
"haha, looks like god answered my prayers to send me an angel, my name's Alexis. Nice to meet you"
🔪12th grade came, soon you'd be free from the hell hole known as public high school. You clinged and sobbed in Cassidy's arms, only 6 more months to go. Whining something about not having a boyfriend, ignoring how offended kaiross looked. You dramatically fell to your knees and held your hands clasped together towards the sky, yelling that you wanted a hot hunk and you wanted him right now... Only for an incredibly heavy object to land straight into your back. Sending you both to the ground as the thing made a grunt. Looking up, you damn near had a nosebleed to see the hottest man you've ever seen, daichio
"ah.. sorry pretty girl, you okay down there?" "yeah.. more than okay.." "alright break it up! No soliciting"
⭐after daichio joined, tensions rose in the little friend haven. Vivian and Michelle would squabble over anything involving you, daichio would purposely provoke kaiross to a fight, alexis would pick on Cassidy for always being so close to you. Until you finally had enough. Giving them the biggest tongue lashing they ever had as you yelled at them to be normal people for once and get along
🛍️...maybe it would have been better if they kept fighting, because now they were a hive mind. After secretly talking behind your back, Daichio and kaiross were like your guards dogs since they had the most muscle. Cassidy was your right hand, Alexis being your tutor. Vivian was your emotional support human, and Michelle was your fashion critic and healthy lifestyle planner. You didn't really mind since now they stopped being little bitches and you had free unpaid workers like Kim Kardashian
🎀you didn't even realize when your group suddenly started gathering attention. Becoming the most popular in the span of a few weeks, how? You didn't know. And quite frankly you didn't want to know. You just wanted a partner, good grades and a scholarship. Looks like your getting all three. People often crowded around your table or desk, trying to get all buddy buddy with you. Just for a little recognition. Your friends were docile until, well, the confessions came rolling in. But that's another story
Fun facts:
Cassidy goes by she/them and is a very friendly person. Naturally, people confess to her everyday but she only has eyes for you, bisexual!
Michelle's mom is a cop, and her dad a businessman so she comes from a somewhat well off family. She likes to go on shopping sprees and gives you any clothes she doesn't want, a lesbian in denial
Vivian is soft spoken and shy, wherever you are rest assured she's close behind, pansexual
kiross is inlove with you and it's very obvious, it's just that nobody brings it up, he goes by he/them and bisexual
Alexis is very demanding, you could consider him a female version of Michelle. Sometimes mich gives him any clothes she doesn't want, pansexual!
Daichio is a playboy and is good friends with kameron, he speaks English, japanese and currently learning Spanish, straight asshole. BORINGG

SPLASH
Matt Sturniolo x y/n (fem)
warnings: SMUT nsfw 18+(um lang, y/n receiving, unprotected, cream pie —assume ur on bc—-semi public/sneaky, nothing too crazy)
authors note: AW ITS KINDA CUTE GUYS. here’s the other matty poo idea i had since y’all seem to eat him up always hehe.
summary: you join some of your friends on a trip to get over a breakup and end up having a heart to heart talk during a late night swim with matt….but talkings not all you end up doing…
word count: 3,431w
—————————————————————————
“hey y/n get your suit on! we’re gonna swim!” nick said, peering in through your half opened door.
“mkay” you nodded back, forcing a smile. it’d been a split second decision to force yourself to join your friends on this trip. Nick had suggested you come to try and get your mind off of things. you and your boyfriend had broken up only 2 weeks ago, after you found him cheating on you. it’d been a long time coming and had almost never been a good relationship, but a breakup is a breakup and you were still reeling from it. you pulled out a stringy bikini, then threw an oversized t shirt on top. the house you were staying at was large and out in the middle of nowhere. the pool was a significant distance behind the house which gave it a cool secluded feel during the day, but at night the walk alone was a little eerie. you fears washed away though as you got close enough to see your friends splashing around and their laughter became audible, only lit by the purple pools lights. it brought a smile to your face and you felt genuinely happy for the first time in a while. you and your friends hung around together for a couple hours, getting late into the night when chris decided he was hungry and needed a snack. the nearest convenience store was about 20 minutes away and would be closing soon so chris and the 3 of others decided to do a junk food run, leaving just you and matt. matt had been your friend since 7th grade, but the two of you hadn’t gotten to hang out as much in the last year cause he made your ex so nervous. he was always convinced you had feelings for matt. at one point he might’ve not been wrong, but you’d never tell a soul that.
“ok last chance guys! you want anything?” nick shouted as the others ran back towards the house.
“skittles!” said matt
“oo can you get me some twizzlers?”
“yup!” nick said running off
“think he listened?” matt said wading through the water to the edge where you were sitting, dangling your feet in.
“oh definitely not” you laughed
“you should come in the water! it’s really warm”
“but then when i get back out i’ll be cold” the outside air had dropped enough to feel the slightest of chill of fall.
“so? you can borrow my sweater if you want” said matt sweetly, always a gentleman
“come on! have some fun!” he teased splashing only enough to spray a few droplets on your thighs. you could never say no to him. you stood up and pulled your tshirt over your head. matt looked up at you, his mouth slightly ajar, before he quickly glanced away. you figured he’d zoned out. you cannonballed in, intentionally hitting matt with a wave of water.
“asshole” he laughed, splashing you as you came back up for air. you grinned at him and shook the wet hair out of your eyes and paddled to sit on the pools steps. matt joined and sat next to you. he leaned his arms against the the pools edge, the water only coming up to his mid stomach. you stole a glance at his toned torso and arms, tattoos glistening from the water. his eyes darted back to yours and he gave you a half smile.
“hey, you been okay? i didn’t wanna pry, but i head about the breakup” he said with concern
“oh…yeah. i’m okay i guess” you sighed
“he’s a real dick, y/n. i mean really. such an asshole. i wanted to kill him” you snorted
“you and me both” matt was on a roll in his rant and barely seemed to notice your comment
“i mean he has some fucking nerve treating you like that. you deserve like the best of the best and the fact that he didn’t didn’t see that—“
“aww matt” a warm fuzzy feeling spread over your skin at his words. he snapped back into remembering your presence and gave you a bashful look.
“i just think you deserve someone who treats you right. so good riddance to him” he said, splashing at an invisible presence off in the distance, trying to play cool. it was an adorably dorky move.
“thank you, matty” you said softly. he paused, and looked you intensely in the eyes.
“yeah always” he breathed out. the tension hung thickly in the night air. you turned your face away from his, hoping it would dissipate.
“and not that it matters, but i remember back in middle school when everyone was playing truth or dare, all the girls made fun of him for being a bad kisser” matt said, attempting to lighten the mood. it worked and you let out a laugh.
“yeah trust me, kissing wasn’t the only thing he was bad at”
“oooooo really” matt said grimacing. you nodded and dramatically shivered at the thought.
“yeah, honestly, don’t think there was a single time i wasn’t on top doing all the work. he’d sorta just lie there…like a corpse. and y’know…second he was done that was that. maybe 2 minutes each time.” matt’s jaw dropped
“whaaaat” you laughed as you glanced at your hands under the water, feeling nervous about talking about this with matt.
“that’s crazy. half the fun of sex watching the other person enjoy it” you felt your face flush as you raised your eyebrows at him
“what?” he chuckled back at your surprise
“nothing, i’ve just never heard you talk like that before” matt rolled his eyes playfully
“yeah well much to your surprise i have had sex before, y/n”
“well i know that…”
“just didn’t think i’d be good at it” he cut you off, teasingly. your face turned from flush to beat red, making you thankful for the dim lighting.
“hey, i wouldn’t be one to judge” you shrugged out, suddenly feeling painfully aware of your lack in experience.
“what do you mean?” matt questioned
“just…he was the only person i ever…y’know” you sheepishly avoided the words.
“had sex with?” matt filled in for you. you nodded and scrunched your face. he studied you for a minute.
“so you’ve never had good sex?” he asked, quietly. you felt so exposed you might as well have been naked.
“‘guess not” you mumbled avoiding is unwavering gaze.
“have to wait around for the next boy” you snickered to yourself
“isn’t that a bit of a gamble?”
“well what are my other options i mean youre the only guy i know who probably any good at sex—“ matt’s eyes widened. you slapped your hand over your mouth, panic beginning to settle in.
“oh my god—sorry—i—that came out wrong—i didn’t mean like you and me—like you need to show me—shit” matt just continued to look at you, his eyes burning holes into your skull. you buried your face in your pruning hands.
“well, why not” matt rasped out. you peaked through your fingers at him, his expression looked blank, but his chest rose rapidly, nervously. you dropped you hands.
“what” you almost whispered. he took a steadying breath.
“i said why not.” you tried to breath, but no air seemed to be available.
“what do you mean” matt gnawed at his lip before speaking again.
“i mean that you deserve to only feel amazing and i don’t want you to go around experimenting with more assholes and—“
“matt, i’m not gonna let you have pity sex with me” you scoffed out, embarrassment itching your whole body.
“that’s not what i meant y/n” he said in a hushed voice. you continued to babble over him.
“i mean i know you’re the nicest guy ever, but come on even you have to know you don’t have to fuck me to protect me from other bad guys—“
“i dont want you to fuck other guys at all” he sounded exasperated. you gave him a lost look. he exhaled, looking up at the sky for invisible answers.
“you don’t?” he looked back into your eyes, you felt like your heart could melt.
“of course not, y/n” your heart raced.
“okay” he furrowed his brow
“okay what?”
“okay yeah— i mean let’s—“ you inhaled, pulling yourself together and met his gazed
“i want you to show me” his chest rattled again.
“yeah?” he breathed out. you nodded, rapidly. he moved closer to you, your faces now inches apart. his eyes darted down to your lips. he smiled, and looked back up into yours, as one hand gently wrapped around your waist.
“okay” he rasped out as he brushed his nose against yours. he seemed to revel in the tension between you, before bringing his soft warm lips against yours. the kiss was passionate, but still delicate. it sent electricity through your chest and down to your fingertips. he brought his other hand up to your check and jaw, molding your faces together even more. matt pulledl his lips away from yours momentarily to whisper out
“you can touch me, y/n” you only then realized your arms had been cluelessly frozen by your sides. you eagerly brought them up around matt’s neck, immediately changing the tone of the kissing to something much more heated. he let out a sharp breath into your mouth before moving to come between your legs, both hands now grasping your waist. he pulled you closer and you wrapped your legs around his body, gripping into his hair. he let out a small groan against your lips and squeezed at your flesh in his hands. you sighed out at the feeling, opening your mouth against his which he took as an opportunity to slip his tongue against yours. your mouths locked together perfectly, as your hands begin to move from his hair to explore his chest, your fingertips roaming the skin of his body you’d only ever dreamed of getting to touch. you lowered your nails to just beneath his bellybutton, which elicited a genuine moan from him. you smiled against his mouth
“where did you learn that” he grumbled
“i have have a couple tricks” you said coly
“oh yeah?” he said between soft quick kisses
“so do i” he bit down lightly on your bottom lip, pulling with his teeth as he brought your hips up against his. you whined feeling him press against your bikini bottoms. he chuckled at your pathetic reaction and pushed your hair back from your neck. he lowered his lips down to the sensitive newly exposed skin and began to sloppily kiss a trail from your jaw to your collarbone, then began sucking and biting at your flesh.
“fuck” you moaned out, your eyes rolling back. you grasped at his taught upper arms.
“you like that?” he groaned against your skin, setting it ablaze with vibrations.
“yes” you sighed out, bucking your hips slightly against his, desperate for more than just the grazing pressure of him standing against you. he seemed to understand your every need and hooked his fingers through the flimsy ties of your bikini and pulled you harshly against him. you felt a hardness in his shorts pressing against your core and your mouth practically watered. his hands trailed back up your body and to your back where your top tied together.
“this okay” you nodded and pulled him back in against your mouth, not wanting to waste a moment for words away from his lips. he expertly untied the knots and slipped the clinging wet fabric of your chest, leaving your boobs exposed to the outside air. he tossed the fabric on the ground behind you as he looked down at your heaving chest.
“god” he groaned out, his eyes widening as he brought his hands to your boobs and pawed at the the soft flesh. he ran his thumbs delicately across your nipples watching you, as you tossed your head back in a moan. he slipped his hands behind your back again, bringing your bare skin flush against his
“you’re so beautiful” he huffed against your lips. you began to rock yourself back and forth against his blatantly obvious hard on, desperate to build some friction. he wrapped one arm around your thigh and lifted you up to the top dry step of the pool, completely taking you out of the water except for your calves. matt lowered himself down to his knees a few steps bellow you, and began to kiss your knees and inner thighs. your legs quivered, as your core ached for attention. his wide blue eyes looked up at you, his mouth only inches away from where you needed him most, as his fingers hooked to the sides of your swimsuit.
“can i?” he mumbled against your skin.
“please” you whined out. he pulled at the loose bows, undoing the flimsy cover easily. you lifted your hips for him to slide the fabric from between your legs. he parted your legs with his hands, his pupils dilating to blackness as he took in the sight of you entirely exposed.
“so perfect” he sighed almost in a trance
“matt—“ you whined desperate and impatient. he looked back up at you with a half smile
“don’t worry baby, i’m gonna make you feel so good” his words alone could’ve made you come undone. he wrapped his arms around your thighs, holding you in place as he brought his warm wet mouth against your aching clit. he gently kissed at the bundle of nerves, making you thrust your hips up against his face hungry for more. he responded by beginning to drag his tongue in painfully slow circles around your clit.
“oh god—matt-“ you cried out, your fingers latching into his hair for support. he groaned against your sensitive bud.
“y’taste so good” your thighs squeezed his face as he began to move his tongue faster, flicking it it circles around your clit.
“oh fuck— that feels so good—“ you exhaled. one of his arms loosed it’s grip
as he brought his fingertips down to meet your folds. he broke his tongue away from your clit and rested his scruffy cheek against your inner thigh as his watched his own fingers drag up and down your dripping folds. you whined in torture and he brought his pointer and middle finger to your entrance pressing small torturous pulses against it, but not entering or giving you the fullness you needed. you were a mess at his touch, whining, moaning, and thrashing around, but he seemed to savor every minute of watching you. finally, he slipped his finger into your core and you cried out at the feeling.
“so pretty” he whispered again before starting to pump his digits in and out of you over and over, his fingers curving up expertly. the tension in your stomach began to form almost immediately. matt needed no clues in knowing what you needed and lowered his tongue back to your clit. your walls began to pulse around his fingers. you knew you were close.
“oh god—matt-i—“ you began to stutter out
“good girl. cum for me” he cooed. you fell apart with his permission and came undone. your legs stuttered as your high began to end and matt slipped his fingers out of you. he lifted himself back up to your level, leaning against the ledge behind you and kissing you again.
“see how good you taste” he said against your lips
“matt” you giggled slightly shocked against him, starting to close your legs. his grip latched back down on your thighs, stopping you.
“oh i’m not done with you yet” he growled through a slight smile, as he hoisted you up into the air. your wrapped your legs around him, as he carried you away from the pool to a nearby lounge chair. he laid you down on your back and climbed on top of you, between your legs. he pressed his still covered crotch against your exposed vulnerable entrance. you hissed, still sensitive from your recent orgasm. he stopped and pulled back from you
“you okay?”
“yes just sensitive” you let out a breathy laugh
“do you want to stop” the overwhelming look of concern in his eyes was adorable
“are you kidding me?” you said, wrapping your legs around him tightly, bringing him back down on top of you.
“thank god” he exhaled. you laughed as you began to kiss him again, rolling your hips up against him. he whimpered. you dragged your fingernails up his back and dug in slightly at his shoulders. he groaned again. the sound of him wanting you was enough to make you desperate all over. you continued to run your fingernails down his chest and to his waistband, snapping the elastic against his skin slightly. his stomach tensing at the feeling.
“take these off, matty” you whined.
“whatever you want” he pulled off from you and stood to the side, sliding off the shorts.
his rock hard dick sprung out free from the fabric and slapped against his stomach. your jaw opened slightly as your eyes took in the impressive size of him in front of you.
“what?” he chuckled
“youre so big” you said in genuine awe
“fuck you don’t know what you’re doing to me” he said, climbing back on top of you and needily yanking your legs up around him. the tip of his hard member rubbed against your clit as he continued to grind his hips against yours through your makeout.
“matt—“ you whined again, needing more.
“you sure you want to do this?” he asked looking into your eyes.
“yes matt—i want you so bad” you moaned to him
“fuck i’m all yours, baby” he said kissing you again, as he began to align himself with your entrance. he pushed himself inside you slowly and shuddered against you once he was all the way deep into your core. he paused for a moment, letting you adjust to the extreme stretch before beginning to slowly thrust in and out and in and out of your pussy. the stretch and fullness of him made you cry out sounds like you’d never made before.
“fuck you feel so good. such a perfect tight little pussy” he huffed out between his calculated thrusts.
“oh god matt”
“taking me so well baby” he cooed
“shitt-feel so good inside me, matty”
“yeah? you like when i fuck you like this, huh baby?” he breathed against your ear, burying his head into your neck.
“so fucking much—oh god yes—faster”
“okay beautiful” he began to pick up the pace of his steady thrusts and you thought you’d see stars. each thrust of his dick equally hard and timed out as he slammed against your g spot. you clawed at his back desperately, which only seemed to encourage him to pick up his pace to an impossibly faster speed. you slurred out curses in between pornographic moans as your mind became a total blur. you could feel your second orgasm approaching.
“OHHH FUCK MATT YES”
“fuck you sound so good moaning my name like that y/n”
“MATT OH GOD IM GONNA”
“you gonna cum for me again, baby?”
“YES OH MY FUCK”
“be a good girl and cum all over my dick” your eyes blurred with tears of pleasure as your ears buzzed and your second orgasm took control of your body. matt let out an uneven moan as your walls rapidly pulsed around his cock.
“fuck—squeezing me so good—shit—i’m close—“
“mmmm” was all you managed to moan in response as he began to trust into you wildly and unsteadyily
“oh my fuck baby i’m gonna cum”
“cum matt—i wanna feel you cum” you panted
“OHH MY OH FUCK FUCK IM GONNA CUM NGHH IM CUMMING” the groaned out as he halted his thrusts deep inside you, shooting hot white ropes of his release into your throbbing core. he collapsed breathless on top of you. after a moment matt pulled himself off your chest and propped himself up by his forearms.
“have any fun?” he asked sheepishly
“are you KIDDING ME? holy SHIT” you said in total honestly
“not half bad right?” he laughed, reaching for his shorts.
“unreal” he handed you his sweater and leaned back down to kiss you again, but pulled away abruptly
“sorry—was that weird? i don’t wanna make you feel pressured—“ you wrapped your arms around his neck shutting him up with another kiss
“good luck if you think your getting away from me now”
“i wouldn’t dream of it”

You're An Idiot…My Idiot
——————
Pairing: Hermione Granger x Fem!Reader
AU: Reader is a Ravenclaw
WARNING: Injury and awkward fluff
——————
Third Person P.O.V:
7th Year
Hermione sat in the bleachers with Luna as they watched the final Quidditch game of the season before the Championships. People cheered and booed all around them as they watched the Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw game.
Ron and Harry sped over the stands they kept their heads in the game, Harry soon took off towards another area as Ron stayed near the goal.
A flash of blue almost smacked Hermione in the face as it went by, but the familiar scent of a certain Ravenclaw made her eyes roll.
Y/n Y/l/n.
What was there to say about such a girl?
They weren't the best of friends, but they weren't enemies either. It's more like an artful dance of flirting and annoyance that they both have mastered around each other.
Hermione despised her arrogant and cocky attitude, with a fiery passion. The way she walked around like her shit didn't stink, always sent the Gryffindor up a wall.
Yet Y/n seemed to make it her life's mission is spin around the drain of Hermione's inner circle, almost like she wanted to be sucked into her presence even more.
The brunette wouldn't let that happen, just because Y/n was attractive, didn't mean Hermione had to give her a seat in her lifestyle.
"Y/n is very much showboating this game," Luna says as she watches her team zigzag around the field.
Hermione watched as the y/h/c girl seemed to be making a show as she chased after the golden snitch. She dodged wooden beams and pillars as she followed it closely, Harry was on her tail but seemed to be lagging behind.
"When doesn't she showboat?" Hermione grumbled as the blonde beside her gave a dreamy laugh.
"I've never understood your dislike for Y/n, I understand she can be a bit much, but she seems to genuinely enjoy your company," Luna says as people cheer around them because of a Gryffindor Chaser scoring a goal.
"She is so sleazy! Why would I entertain that type of person with my time?" Hermione says, to which Luna just shrugged. Her eyes looked at the brunettes for a moment but then flicked back to the game.
The tense grit in her jaw, how straight her back was, and the fiddling of her fingers gave Hermione away quite easily.
Luna had begun to spot Hermione at every Ravenclaw game since the beginning of the fifth year. It didn't matter if Gryffindor was playing or not, she never missed a game.
There had been a rumor going around that Y/n and Hermione were seen talking in an empty hallway, and it looked more like flirting than actual conversation.
Those rumors were quickly thwarted when everyone saw them back in their bickering behavior in the coming days.
"You fancy her" she states.
Hermione's eyes widened at the statement. That was outlandish! She had never felt any romantic feelings for Y/n!
Well...
Ugh, she couldn't believe she had been figured out by one of her friends, and that she had actually fallen for the Ravenclaw's charms!
It was humiliating, honestly.
Y/n had caught her alone in an empty hallway sometime at the early start of the fifth year. It had been normal, for the most part. Hermione rolled her eyes and scoffed at every pickup line she tried, but then she said something that caught her off guard.
"I need your help"
Y/n had never been one to ask for help, EVER.
So, to hear it come from her mouth was almost like hearing the devil say 'please'. It even made her slack-jawed in awe from hearing it as they stood in that empty hallway.
The Ravenclaw soon pulled out her grades from last year and showed Hermione that she had completely failed Alchemy the entire year.
She was being forced to retake it.
Hermione had shifted from foot to foot in the debate about whether she should help her greatest annoyance.
"Please Hermione, you're the smartest girl I know...and I truly need your help"
Something changed in the Gryffindor's heart, maybe because of the overzealous ego that Y/n seemed to be missing at this moment, or how she started to notice how beautiful her eyes were in the sunlight.
"Alright, alright. Meet me in the dungeons after dark, I'll help you."
Hermione then smiled at her. Another historic moment for the two, Y/n almost wanted to take a picture. If only she had a camera on her...
That was years ago now, and both had been meeting up in the old Potions classroom every night to study or just talk.
Y/n acted completely different when they were alone, so soft and caring. Her smile wasn't cocky, and her laugh was light and airy.
So, you could imagine when Hermione started to be pulled in by her charms.
"That's ridiculous!" Hermione replied with a face as scarlet as a letter, Luna just chuckled and looked back onto the field.
Harry and Y/n flew side by side as they chased after the snitch, both had grins on their faces as they tried to outmaneuver one another.
They were good friends, both having practiced together many times during their time at Hogwarts. They were the best of the best when it came to school level, and Hermione wouldn't be surprised if Y/n went on to be a professional.
Y/n flew to the other side of Harry as they slipped past the high-rise stands. Hermione was sure that one of them was going to kick someone in the head.
People began to murmur as they saw the Beaters looking around frantically. They seemed to have lost sight of the Bludger. Never a good sign.
"Bouncing Bludger!" People called out as a warning.
Harry suddenly ducked down as he heard a loud zipping noise headed his way. He obviously had flashbacks to the second year when he broke his arm because of one.
Sadly, Y/n didn't take in the noise before it was too late. A collective gasp took over the crowd when the ball smacked into Y/n's side at high speed, knocking her off her broom and slamming her into the walkway between the bleachers and railing.
She skidded for a few moments her body rolling and slamming onto the ground as friends and teammates ran/flew to her aid immediately. Harry watched in anguish as he saw his friend lay on the floor of the bleachers, unmoving.
"Oh my god," Hermione whispers as she pushes her way down to the main floor with Luna on her heels. People murmured around them as Madam Hooch ran to Y/n's side and checked her over.
"We need to get her to Hospital Wing, any able-body boys, I need you to carry her!" she yells as Ron lands beside them and drops his broom.
Hermione shoved her way through the crowd, whispering quiet apologies as she basically elbowed everyone in front of her. Luna held the back of her shirt as she followed in her wake.
When they finally broke through the barrier of people, Ron slowly picked her up into his arms. Y/n looked so fragile as her arm dangled.
Hermione stood there, staring as Ron walked away with Madam Hooch in quick steps. People's whispers seemed to get louder when she began to follow close behind them.
Harry flew down near the railing and called out to his female best friend as he followed beside her. Yet, she completely ignored him and everyone else as she stared at Y/n's head, which was lobed over the edge of Ron's forearm.
Luna stayed back and watched Hermione's actions with a knowing look. The way her body was loose and nervous, yet she just gazed at the unconscious Ravenclaw in her friend's arms like she was witnessing a car accident.
Hermione didn't know how to feel, or think.
Her body went into autopilot.
——————
She sat on the bench outside the hospital wing as friends, teammates, and some teachers went and checked on her. Y/n had woken up once, but Madam Promfrey quickly put her back to sleep due to the broken ribs and her groans of pain,
It was now almost one in the morning, everyone had gone to bed for the night. The only people in that part of the castle were the biggest rivals in the school.
Hermione's foot shook as she gathered the courage to get off this bench and finally walk in.
She was nervous to see Y/n in a state that wasn't what she was used to. To see her broken and bruised...was going to be foreign.
Quietly she stood up and walked towards the big doors, she slowly opened them, and they squeaked loudly.
Hermione cursed to herself as she decided to leave it open. Her eyes scanned the moonlit room to find only one occupant of the beds.
Y/n laid on her back as her chest rose and fell slowly. Her white school shirt showed that her sides were bandaged and tightly wrapped around her skin.
The Gryffindor carefully stepped closer as she watched for any sudden movements or to hear any discomfort leave Y/n's lips.
When she finally sat down on the chair beside the hospital bed and looked upon the Ravenclaw's face. She was peaceful, oblivious to the amount of pain her body was in.
Hermione didn't know what to do, or why she was even still up this late at night for someone she only knew in the dark.
Maybe that's why? Nighttime was the only place where they saw each other's true colors. Spoke without any malice or anger.
Her hand slowly laid itself beside Y/n's, her finger caressing the girl's knuckles. Silent affection, something only she would know about when day broke again.
"You've done it Y/l/n. You've got me under your spell...I hope you're proud" Hermione whispers as she stares her their hands, feeling how cold Y/n's hand is compared to hers.
"You're freezing" she whispers as she stands up and walks over to a cabinet full of blankets and other equipment.
"I don't know why Madam Promfrey insists on keeping the wing so cold!" Hermione grumbled as she grabbed a blanket and shut the cabinet closed with a small 'huff'.
When she walked back over, she unraveled the folded polyester and draped it across the injured girl. Her hands glided carefully around Y/n's sides to make sure the heat of her body helped her broken ribs heal a little faster.
Hermione leaned over her unconscious form as she carefully tucked the blanket around her, as she moved up towards her shoulders, their faces were almost nose to nose.
She leaned away slightly but stared for another moment as she noticed the bruises along her jaw and cheek.
"That fall did a number on you too" Hermione whispered as she reached up and took a hold of Y/n's chin, gently moving her head so she could get a better look at the purple marks.
She sighed softly and sat back in the chair, her legs crossing as she debated on what to do next. A big part of her wanted to stay, but another didn't want to put any more suspicion on their 'unlabeled relationship'.
Was it friendly or turning into more?
It was obvious that Hermione had grown quite fond of the Y/n under the cover of the dark, but was that truly who she was?
Or was the arrogant and cocky asshole during the day her true personality?
This question made Hermione want to rip her hair out. It was the only part that she couldn't get a clear answer on.
"You are so infuriating" Hermione mumbled quietly as she looked away and out threw the window. She could see owls flying out of the Owlry, their silhouettes dancing across the moon.
She heard a big intake of breath before a pained grunt came from Y/n. Hermione's eyes quickly fell back on her as she brought the chair closer to the bed.
"I know" she whispers as her hand reaches up and pushes away some hair that was stuck to Y/n's forehead.
It was quiet as Hermione calmed down Y/n by running her fingers through her hair. Watching as the Ravenclaw seemed to be craving her touch.
"You're such an idiot sometimes. Why don't you listen to your teammates?" She asks in an annoyed tone as she thinks back on the incident from many hours ago. Y/n silently groaned in pain as she nudged her head against Hermione's palm.
"You can't guilt me out of giving you a lecture once you wake up" she hums as her hand caressed Y/n's forehead, she could feel the heat radiating from it.
It's silent as Hermione does more than any rival should do, but she feels guilty that the Ravenclaw didn't have anyone who wanted to stay and watch over her during this.
"You need to find a girlfriend. I can't be the one to take care of you during times like this" she hummed quietly as she moved her hand away. Y/n groans again, whether, from the pain or the now sudden lack of contact, Hermione isn't sure.
"Then again...I'd more than likely come sit by you if this happens again" she sighed as she started to use unconscious Y/n as a therapist. It made her chuckle slightly about it.
"This is ridiculous! Why are you so charming to me now?" Hermione huffs in annoyance as she crosses her arms. A small hue of scarlet red flooded onto her face.
"Fine. You're cute, I'll give you that." She admits with an annoyed sigh as she looks everywhere but Y/n.
"How can I fancy you? I've despised your very presence since we've met!" The Gryffindor mumbles as her eyes follow the detail of the stone walls.
She was silent for a while, listening to the soft breathing of the Ravenclaw beside her as her mind stumbled over itself with different thoughts.
"I'll admit it. Alright?" She sighs with another annoyed tone. Hermione hated admitting she had been wrong, especially about how she truly felt about things.
"I've fallen for the sound of your voice, and the kindness you show me when it's just the two of us. Or how you seem to look at me like...I can't explain it, it's like-" she's cut off.
"Like you're the only person in the room that matters"
Hermione turned in shock to hear a dry and raspy voice coming from the bed beside her. Y/n eyes were open, but tired still. She had a weak smile, yet it seemed very genuine.
They stared at one another, Hermione's breathing was audible but soft. Her hands gripped her jeans, trying to convince herself that she wasn't hallucinating. Y/n's hand slipped out from under the blanket and waited patiently to be taken.
Hermione sat nervously as she hesitated, her eyes flickering between Y/n's hand and eyes. The Ravenclaw waited patiently, continuing to look at her with a soft smile.
"How can I trust you?" Hermione asked as she looked back at her, their gaze tense and unbreaking.
"I've loved you since our first Potions class together" Y/n whispered, surprising the Gryffindor once again. All the way back to first-year?
"Then why..." Hermione drifts off as she thinks of every time they've gotten into an argument or pushed each other's buttons on purpose.
"It's the only way you'd talk to me! Thank Merlin I failed Alchemy, or else this might of never happened" Y/n chuckles softly as Hermione slips her hand into hers. It was warm now.
Y/n's thumb subconsciously ran over Hermione's knuckles as they continued to stare at one another.
"Go out with me Granger, tomorrow," Y/n asked with a grin, which Hermione chuckled at.
"You're still on bed rest for your broken ribs" she states, to which the Ravenclaw groans about.
"I'll sneak out, meet me in Irondale" Y/n says and Hermione rolls her eyes with a playful smile as she places her other hand between the space below her chest and above her stomach.
"I'll bring you some Ice Cream tomorrow as compensation, please stay in bed," Hermione asks nicely and Y/n grumbles like an upset first-year.
"Alright, but as soon as I'm released then?" Y/n asks with a smile as she squeezes the Gryffindor's hand.
"Maybe" Hermione teased as they began to quietly laugh together, their chuckles echoing around them in the empty Hospital Wing.
Y/n hissed and touched her sides.
"Don't make me laugh" she whispers with a pained smile, to which Hermione quickly apologized and moved her chair closer. Looking at the potions on the nightstand beside the bed.
"When did you take these?" she asks as her hand leaves Y/ns and starts to pick up bottles, reading the labels carefully.
"You tell me," Y/n says with a grin as she tries to lay at her side, but Hermione quickly scolds her.
"Don't you dare! You have broken ribs!" she says with a sigh as she watches Y/n roll her eyes and lay back down.
"Here, this is for pain relief. It says take every four hours, and you've been knocked out long past that" Hermione hums as she pours the liquid into a small cup, Y/n makes a face as the smell of it hits her nose.
"Please don't make me pour it down your throat" Hermione states as she holds the cup for her. They looked at each other with playful glares.
"It smells like horse piss 'Mione" Y/n says as she slowly sat u. Her ribs felt as though they were on fire, causing her to curse and hold back some tears.
Hermione took her hand and held it against her back to alleviate some of the pain. It seemed to help slightly.
"I know, but it's good for you" she replied as she placed the cup in the Ravenclaw's hands.
"Maybe so, but I need a little convincing" Y/n says through pained breaths as she smiles. Hermione raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"How so?" She asks as Y/n places her hand on the side of her neck and pulls the brown-haired girl towards her.
Hermione smiled when she stood out of her chair and kissed the Ravenclaw. Their lips moved simultaneously, their hands grasping each other's faces with passion.
Each kiss felt more irresistible than the last, to the point that Y/n desperately whispered 'no' when Hermione began to pull away.
"Drink, then we'll see about another one " she whispered back as she sat back in the chair, her face pink and her lips smudged with Y/n's peppermint chapstick.
Y/n was quick to down the potion like a shot of Fire Whiskey. To which she soon regretted when her face contorted and she started to cough from the taste.
As she gagged and hacked from the horrendous flavor, she grasped her sides in pain.
"Sweet Merlin, knock me out" she said through wheezes as Hermione rubbed her back comfortingly.
Eventually Y/n was able to calm herself and lay back down on the bed. Hermione covered her back with the blanket and sighed softly.
"You're an idiot" she said with a sigh as Y/n grasped her hand and smiled.
"Your idiot"
"I haven't claimed you"
"Yet! I'm putting it into the universe now" Y/n hums as she shuts her tired eyes and lets the potion start to relax her body.
"Oh god," Hermione whispers as she stands up and dusts off her jeans. Owls booted as they passed by the window.
"Get some sleep-"
Y/n quickly grabbed her wrist and gave a soft, but pleading look. This shocked the Gryffindor. Y/n was never this openly touchy.
"Don't go"
Hermione looked at her as a small smile crept into her lips, she looked away to hide her charmed facial expression.
"If you wish" she says as she sits back in the chair and takes Y/n's hand into hers. Their palms fit perfectly against one another.
Y/n relaxed as she began to fall asleep again, her eyes fluttering shut to the comfort of Hermione's watchful gaze.
The room felt safe.
——————
Hermione soon woke up to the sun shining in her eyes, she groaned as she sat up and cursed the chair for putting a knot in her back
When her eyes focused, she found Y/n reading the Daily Prophet with an annoyed look on her face. Hermione yawned and caught her attention.
"Look at this! I look like roadkill!" Y/n huffed as she showed the front page of the article, it was a moving picture of Y/n passed out on the bleacher floor.
"Quidditch Player Bludgeoned!" Hermione read out the headline and snickered slightly as Y/n just huffed in anger again.
"That's a stupid play on words" she grumbled as Madam Promfrey walked back with a snicker of her own.
"I liked it" she said with a smile as she took care of a sick third-year a few beds away.
"Hey!" Y/n groaned as Hermione placed the paper down and chuckled, the air between them was light and fun.
Y/n looked back at her and sighed, the sun shining on her back as it cast her shadow on the bed.
"So...do you want to talk about last night?" Y/n asks and Hermione feels her cheeks heat up at the remembrance of it.
"Yes, we should" she replied as she scooted closer, hoping to keep the conversation as private as possible.
Y/n gently gazed upon her, her eyes seemed to glow as the backlight of the sunshine shimmered around her.
They both were nervous to hear what the other would say, which led them to just look at one another to start the conversation.
"Would you still like to go out to Irondale with me? After I get released, of course." Y/n whispers as her eyes fall to the palms of her hands. A nervous silence grew between them as Madam Promfrey pretended she wasn't listening in.
"I would like that, a lot" Hermione whispers as a shared smile breaks out on their faces. The room felt warmer as their cheeks turned a cotton candy color (or candy floss if you really want to get British).
——————
They spoke quietly together as the day turned to night once again, Y/n eventually convincing Hermione to go back to her dorm and get a good night's rest.
But as soon as Hermione's head hit that pillow, she began to toss and turn. To the point that Ginny threw a pillow at her to make her stop moving.
"I can't help it!" Hermione whispered as she sat up and threw the bundle of feathers back at her. Ginny just sighed as she caught it and laid back with it covering her face in annoyance.
"Just go see her then! Everyone has been talking about you two today" Ginny muffled through the cloth as a few other girls hummed in agreement as they pretended to be asleep.
"Of course, this school spreads gossip quicker than the flu" Hermione grumbles as she throws the covers off and slips on her shoes. A few of the girls chuckled as they sat up as well and turned on the light.
"I find it cute," Lavender says with a smile as she yawns softly. Ginny snickered and moved the pillow off her face, watching as Hermione seemed to be burning with embarrassment.
"I hate you all" the leather-haired beauty grumbled as she walked towards the door.
"But we love you!" The girls yelled back in a fit of giggles as the door slammed shut. Hermione could hear them cackling as she quickly made her way down to the common room.
It was empty and dark, it looked as though someone had put off the fireplace for the night. Her feet made the steps creak as she walked down to the main floor, her arms crossed against her chest as the chilly air hit the skin of her forearms.
She huffed softly as she shimmied her way through the tunnel and out to the hall on the other side.
The paintings snored softly as she made her way to the Hospital Wing. Only a few were up to ask the young Gryffindor where she was off to, to which she replied 'Better sleeping arrangements'. It was a strange response, but they didn't push any further.
When Hermione made it to the wing, it was dark and cold, just like the night before. Except, Y/n was up.
"Hermione? What are you doing here?" She asks when she hears steps enter the room. Hermione just grumbled something incoherent and got into the empty bed next to Y/n's.
Y/n chuckled and watched the Gryffindor get under the covers and turn her back towards her.
"Missed me?"
"Shut up."
Y/n began to laugh, now that her ribs were almost fully healed it didn't hurt as much to do so anymore.
"Just admit it, Granger, you're in love with me already" Y/n says to which Hermione flips her off and covers her head with the pillow.
Hermione felt her face burn so hot that she was sure the pillowcase could catch ablaze. Y/n's continuous chuckles didn't help either. Soon enough, it got quiet, and the sound of the wind rattled the windows near them.
Hermione rolled over and rested the pillow back under her head as she caught eyes with Y/n across from her.
"This doesn't mean anything" she whispers as the Ravenclaw grinned.
"It means everything" Y/n replied.
"You're overthinking things"
"I'm your overthinker"
"Still trying to get me to claim you?"
"Slowly but surely!"
Hermione chuckled softly as she looked at her with a soft gaze, her heart thumping inside her chest.
"Fine. You're an idiot...my idiot"
They both began to laugh as they lay on either bed and started to talk the night away quietly, soon falling asleep with their hands dangling over the sides. Fingers brushing the others whenever a breath was taken.
Futures started to form in their dreams.

i was never the type to smoke or drink until i met chris. the first time i smoked w33d i was with chris. the first time a drank i was with chris. i never really stopped so we smoke together all the time. speaking of im on my way to his apartment right now.
i knocked on the door for to be opened to chris standing there already smoking a blunt. “hey ma. how have you been?” he asks as he steps aside to let me in. “good.” i say with a soft smile as i go in to hug chris. “thats good. come on lets go on the balcony.” he motions for me to follow him and i do. once we get out there he hands me the blunt that he was already smoking. “can you do a french inhale?” i ask. I’ve always sucked ay doing them and was curious to see if chris could.
“yea let me see it.” he says pointing towards the blunt. like he said he could, he did a near flawless french inhale. i laughed and rolled my eyes. “whatever i bet you don’t speak any french.” i figured he didn’t he was never the schooling type like i was. i took french in high school. “je t'aime ton prénom, je l'ai toujours aimé.” (i love you y/n, i always have.) (if this is wrong don’t come after me i got ts from google translate😭) he said in immediate response. i jerk my head back in shock. he loves me? “holyy shit was does that mean?” i say playing dumb i know exactly what he just said. his eyes go wide “oh uhh it means, do you wanna have lunch tomorrow” he said almost like a question like he couldn’t convince himself thats what he just said.
“damn i was not expecting you to know french.” i said laughing it off. he gave me a tight smile in response. “i had a lot of fun today chris. i’ve missed hanging out with you all the time.” he sighed “me to y/n. we should hang again tomorrow?” he said like it was half statement half question. “yeah sure see you tomorrow chris” “see ya ma.” he said as he shut and locked his apartment door behind me.
its now around 12:30am and ever since i left chris’ apartment yesterday i haven’t been able to stop thinking about what he said. “i love you y/n i always have.” what.the.fuck. what do i do? i mean he’s my best friend and has been since like 7th grade. before i can stop myself my phone is in my hand and im calling chris. “hello? y/n is everything okay? its 12:35 in the fucking morning.” he answers. you can tell i woke him uo his voice is deep and raspy. “i-i’m sorry chris. i know this is random but can i come over like right now?” he pauses and for a second i thought he hung up but i can hear him exhale over the phone. i shake my head and smile to myself, kid already lit a blunt. “i mean yeah sure. is everything okay?” i exhale a breath i didn’t even know i was holding. “okay thanks i’ll be there in 15 bye!” before he can say bye back the phone is hung up and i’m out of the door.
once i get to chris’ apartment i freeze before knocking. im so nervous but i do it anyway. he answers the door. chris is shirtless with gray sweatpants hanging dangerously low to his waist and a blunt between his fingers. “y/n are you okay? why are you here? not that i don’t want you here it just-“ before he can continue his sentence any longer i smash my lips into his. the kiss is deep and passionate. bye the time we release each others lips we’re gasping for breath. “when you said you loved me in french today, i understood.” he just shakes his head and laughs as he tosses me over his shoulder leading us to his bedroom. “you have no idea how long ive wanted this y/n.” he says just above a whisper.
he tossed me onto his bed and hovers over me. he goes in for another kiss. this one isn’t like the first this one is rough and dominating. as he works his tongue he reaches for the hem of my shirt. “take this off, yeah?” he asks. i smile and shake my head knowing i have no bra on underneath. i pull my shirt off and he lets out a groan. “so fucking beautiful y/n.” he says and he kneads one of my boobs. “and their all fucking mine.” he says grabbing the other. he lets go of one of my breasts and wraps his veiny hand around my neck. “say it y/n who does your body belong to? who do you belong to?” i let out a small whimper “y-you all you chris.” he smirks with satisfaction and amusement. “good girl, ma. such a good girl.” he praises. to this i let out a moan and start to grind my hips against him for some kind of friction. “ah ah y/n. be patient i’ll give you what you want pretty girl.” another whimper escapes my lips. “such a whiny girl. why don’t i fuck that whininess out of you, yeah?” i bob my head up and down at the speed of light in the hopes he will work faster.
he laughs and shakes his head. he slides off my sweats and underwear throwing them somewhere in the room. he smirks in amusement when he sees my pussy. “already so wet for what ma? i’ve barley started pretty girl.” he teases “please” i whine. “please what baby? i need words.” i’m breathless and i have no idea why. “please please fuck me chris please.” before i can get another word out he slams into me almost taking my breath away. “chris!” i moaned out. my nails are digging into his back probably drawing blood. “thats it baby. scratch me up, mark me.” “chris please! oh my god!” i moan and sputter out as he continues to thrust into me ruthlessly. “your so fucking tight y/n.” after a few more thrust im about to come. “come for me ma make a mess all over my dick.” his words send me over the edge and im quickly coming.
chris gets up from the bed. “be right back sweetheart.” he says and next thing i know i feel something against my pussy. i whimper. “still sensitive, no more.” he chuckles. “no baby im just cleaning you up.” i nod in response and close my eyes. im almost asleep when i feel the bed dip next to me. “g’night chris. “goodnight sweet girl.

The Shoebox Under The Bed
Feb. Request-8
In which Spencer has a box of all of the things Y/N had ever given him and she finds it
Warnings: fluff, kissing, cursing, he gets a lil embarrassed
Spencer Reid x fem!reader
Tumblr media
“Babe, do you know where my white heels are?” Y/N asked, walking through her and Spencer’s apartment wearing nothing but one of his shirts and a pair of socks.
It was Valentine’s Day and they had dinner plans. “Uh… check the bedroom closet?” He called from the kitchen.
Y/N hummed and she walked into the kitchen. “Are you excited?” She asked, standing on her tippy toes and kissing his neck innocently.
Spencer smiled and leaned down to kiss her. “So excited.” He nodded.
Y/N damn near squealed. “This is our first Valentine’s together since we moved in with each other!” She said, poking his chest.
“Baby, I love that you’re so excited but it’s 9 am. We don’t have dinner until 7 tonight.” He chuckled.
Y/N rolled her eyes with a smile. “I knoooooow….” She drew out. “I just wanna be ready. Last year I left my place super late and we almost lost our reservation.”
Spencer shook his head. “Okay, babe. Whatever makes you feel better.”
Y/N squeaked and tore away from him, going to look for her shoes.
In the room, she had searched high and low for those heels but hadn’t even found one.
She sighed and spun around, collapsing on the bed. She shut her eyes, groaning loudly.
After a moment, her left eye peeked open when she got an idea. She got off of the bed and got on her hands and knees next to it. She bit her lip and lifted her arm up to feel around for her phone on her bedside table.
She hummed in victory when she grabbed it and brought it down, turning the flash light feature on.
Underneath the bed lit up and she smiled. She moved clothes and blankets out of the way before her eyes lit up. The black shoebox sat there with a picture of the particular heel she was looking for.
She grabbed it and pulled it out from underneath the bed, opening the box quickly. She was expecting a shoe or two but instead she found a stack of Polaroids, letters, jewelry and a bunch of other tiny gadgets.
She bit her lip when she pulled one of the Polaroids out and studied it. She had been obsessed with taking pictures of things with her camera. In this one, Spencer was holding a lemon and wearing a big wicker sun hat. Why? She couldn’t remember but she smiled and laughed anyway. She remembered she gave it to him on the last day of 7th grade.
Spencer and Y/N grew up together. They realized that they were in love at a very young age.
She looked behind her to make sure that Spencer wasn’t watching from the kitchen and then pulled out one of the letters.
She smiled as she saw the little star she’d drawn by her name.
May 23
Dear Spence,
It’s been a while since I’ve seen you. I still have that sweater you leant me last winter. I wear it all the time. I wish the summer would be over so I can see you again. The last letter you sent me, you said you would come back soon but July 17th isn’t soon enough.
Anyway, how’s your Einstein summer camp going? I read that they teach you how to read minds there. Is it true? If so, can you tell me what I’m thinking about now?
I also got cast as Wendy in our schools summer theater program in Peter Pan. If you make it back home in time you might be able to catch closing night. I hope you can. I would love to look out when we’re doing our bows and see you there.
Anyway, I gotta go. We’re running lines.
See you at my show!
Love
From Y/N <3
She rolled her eyes, wondering why she’d scratched the end out even though Spencer could clearly read it. She tossed the letter aside and bit her lip, digging through the box some more.
Her eyes lit up when she picked up a stupid charm bracelet she’d made for him in fifth grade. It had a pair of glasses next to a star and a bead that had an ‘S’ in the middle.
Her tongue pressed into the inside of her bottom lip as she tied off the end of the elastic string. She glanced behind her seeing Spencer reading a book.
Her heart pounded as she turned and walked towards him. “Uhm… Spencer?” She cleared her throat. He looked up at her, pushing up his glasses.
“I-oh hi, Y/N!” He smiled setting his book down.
She held out the bracelet to him, closing her eyes. “I made this for you.” She spoke quickly.
He took it from her gently and her eyes opened. “Thanks! This is really nice.” He nodded at her.
Y/N smiled to herself, peeking behind her again just to make sure Spencer was still occupied in the kitchen.
The next thing she pulled out was a sock.
Yes, a sock.
Spencer in exchange for a book he was reading asked for something that Y/N held near and dear to her heart. She gave him a sock with Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. She almost cried giving it to him and he almost caved and let her keep it AND the book but she told him that it was fine.
She never gave the book back, he never returned her sock.
She put the sock back in the box and kept digging finding a really dried up daisy flower and a wrapper to a Crunch bar amongst many many other things. She paused when she felt something different.
It was a small velvet box. She pulled it out slowly, biting her lip. “What the fuck?” She whispered. She swallowed, opening the box and almost gasped.
A ring and a receipt sat inside that box. The ring was beautiful. It had a rose gold band with a rose colored diamond—a big ass diamond. She read the receipt, not paying attention to the price but the date.
He had bought that ring ten years before. They hadn’t even been dating then.
Her mouth was agape, she was so in shock that she didn’t even hear Spencer coming.
“Babe did you find your sh— oh my fucking shit.” He groaned. Y/N looked up at him slowly.
“Oh my God, Spencer, I’m so sorry!” She said, shutting the box quickly and shoving back underneath the piles of letters and other stuff. “I was just looking for my shoes, I swear!”
Spencer chuckled and sighed, walking over to sit on the bed in front of her. She bit her lip smiling at him, completely disregarding the ring. “You kept all the stuff I gave you.” She said quietly.
He reached down to cup her cheek. “Of course I did.”
She shut her eyes. “And you bought a ring.” She shook her head, her face heating up. “You bought a ring 10 years ago— we were 15 Spencer!” She smiled.
He blushed. “Well… I just— i knew that it was you, Y/N/N. Ever since you made me that charm bracelet in 5th grade.” He shrugged. “So, I saved up all my money from working at the ice cream shack that one summer and I went and bought it.”
Y/N stared into his eyes with a soft smile on her lips. “I love you.” She whispered.
Spencer smiled and leaned forward to kiss her deeply. “I love you.” He said in between kisses. “But you’re gonna have to wait for me to propose because that was the plan for tonight.” He chuckled.
Y/N rolled her eyes playfully. “Fine.”
So at the end of the night, Spencer proposed to her in front of a bunch of people at the restaurant. She acted like she had no idea it was gonna happen so they’d get free cake.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It started in the 8th grade, spitting out bits of petals and scraping them off your tongue when nobody was looking; subtly wiping your hands on your jeans and pretending you hadn't. Your child's mind was overwhelmed and confused by the sight but figured it had to be normal, never asking any questions, because who would ever believe your symptoms?
You kept this secret to yourself like you did many others, never sharing with anyone the pain that was slowly creeping through your veins. You didn't even tell him - the boy who made your heart race and palms get sweaty. The boy who made your mind go blank and simultaneously race with thought. He's been your friend since the 1st grade, best friend since 3rd, you thought you could share anything, but after the talent show in 7th grade and you saw the way he was held hostage in his seat while watching Chrissy Cunningham do her cheer routine, you knew things couldn't stay the same.
His eyes were wide, his mouth slightly agape, and it was the first of many star-struck looks Eddie would give the strawberry blonde. A look you'll come to understand would never be directed at you.
Everything around you was changing but you refused to be left behind, so, you changed with the times; you changed with your friend. Your hair was cropped short as his grew out in unruly curls; you wore black almost everyday (like he did), you might've even learned how to play guitar so you two could have another bonding experience, and you even joined his stupid fucking Hellfire Club because you thought you could impress him with your Dungeons and Dragons knowledge that you didn't spend all summer studying over.
When you got to high school, your symptoms changed - just like you did. It wasn't fair, but you never tried to fix what was wrong; Nancy Wheeler spending hours with you in the library as you feigned a personal project you needed to research, searching for any solution. Your friend didn't know you found answers the summer before high school, the summer puberty hit you like a bullet train; the summer everything changed.
You knew something was terribly and fatally wrong yet never bothered to fix it, because why bother putting forth effort into an inevitable end? Your options were limited and neither sounded better than the last.
Option One: you succumb to your symptoms and suffocate. Two: you got a surgery to remove the blooms growing in your lungs - but it would in turn take away all known thought and memory of your beloved. And Option Three: confess your feelings and pray to any and every known God, Goddess, Deity that he would return them.
However, you worried that if he did return your affections - whether he verbalized them or not - you wouldn't be in this predicament to begin with. So, you sucked it up and kept quiet because having him as just a friend was better than forgetting him, or losing his friendship. You were never good being alone but found being alone with him was better than being by yourself. You chose to remain strong and silent, despite the way you withered away inside; you chose to stay close, even though his proximity made your heart crack. You chose to borderline torture yourself because you knew walking away would take more bravery than sticking around.
But in the words of Ellie Newmark, "Unrequited love does not die; it's only beaten down to a secret place where it hides, curled and wounded. For some unfortunates, it turns bitter and mean, and those who come after pay the price for the hurt done by the one who came before."
You positively refused to turn "bitter and mean", so, you plastered a smile on your face and never gave anyone reason to think anything could be wrong. You never thought there'd be anyone after him, because you were enamored with everything he did and the very idea of being in love with anyone except him drove your heart into your throat. The idea was unimaginable.
The first semester of high school, your chest got heavier with meat but also pressure, causing a terrible tightness that left you feeling as if you were breathing through a sauna; your lungs constricted with tendrils of prickling pain, and soon, those bits of petals were fully intact, giving you first sight to what was being hacked out of your body - white chrysanthemums.
After a bit of research, you discovered these particular flowers were used in European funeral bouquets - but not many others. You discovered white chrysanthemums were a symbol of death, grief, and mourning in some Asian cultures, and it did little to quell the worry in your chest.
Yet, how oddly beautiful to suffer through this; where your own body betrayed you but produce something pure, innocent even, despite being slathered with a halo of tacky blood.
However, you feared life without him and even if it meant your heart would permanently weep, you would sign yourself up for a lifetime of pain if it meant he stayed close. If it meant he stayed in your life. If his hand would continue to hold yours. If his smile would grace your sight, if those pillowy lips would form precious nicknames that always made you feel on top of the world.
You'd mourn yourself, in order to preserve and celebrate all he was.
For years, you persevered through the unimaginable pain in body and mind, and for years, you and he grew closer than ever before. In the 10th grade, things changed again - but this was only because you caught yourself about to confess your feelings for Edward Munson. Panic-inducing fear halted the words before they could slip out, and instead, it caused a violent coughing attack.
One so intense that it made you turn away from Eddie and get back in your father's car, driving away from his trailer as your palm was slathered in a slick, sticky mixture of blood and limp white petals.
You felt immense guilt when you glanced in the rearview mirror, Eddie's shocked, confused, and concerned figure standing on his porch - watching you drive away, and wondering what had gone wrong. You two had been smoking, sure, but Eddie often thought that you could smoke him under any table, any day. Maybe he had indulged you too much, and maybe your lungs and throat were going raw from it all - spurring a bud of guilt to sprout in Eddie's gut.
He didn't let you smoke going forward.
You accepted the new limitation because you couldn't handle telling him the truth. You chose to suffer for him, you chose to remain close and depend on him more than you should've. It became increasingly painful to live through your days, and to your heart-stopping fear, the pain was tenfold when you were nearest Eddie.
Eddie, who was oblivious to your pain.
Eddie, who couldn't pick up a fucking hint.
Eddie, who you've been in love with since you were a kid.
Eddie, who you spent every birthday and holiday with.
Eddie, who only ever wanted the pretty, popular head cheerleader... And not you.
Still, his friendship was better than nothing at all and you dealt with the staggering pain that soon left your limbs weak. Surely, the pain of losing him wouldn't match the pain you had now, so, you stuck it out.
You and Eddie hung out every weekend. You went to his shows at The Hideout, you helped him do his homework and study. You defended him against bullies, you'd wipe his tears, hold his hand through tattoos, you brought him new customers to up-charge his drug sales. You loved him, and you did what you could to show that without needing to verbalize it.
You laughed with him, cried, watched movies; went to concerts, checked out books in the library on how to fix automobiles to help him tune up his van. You remembered his Uncle Wayne's birthday and got him a new mug each year, you taught Eddie how to bake, you both would raid the music store and spend his drug money - and he'd always buy you a new record, even if it "wasn't real music".
Because that's what best friends did - they loved each other unconditionally.
And for years, you'd watch him stare after the pretty captain of the cheer team; her oblivious to his staring and him oblivious to yours. It was like a never-ending circle, watching the three of you idiots tiptoe around feelings and truth. Yet Eddie was focused on what was in front of him in the form of Chrissy, never bothering to ever check to see what was behind him - in the form of you.
Because you were always there. A constant presence tethered to his soul, forever being a safety net during the times he pushes himself too far.
The stake in your heart drove deeper when he'd ask your opinion on his hair - wondering if Chrissy would notice the trimmed dead ends (like you did). He'd ask you what flower was your favorite, because he wanted to impress the pretty strawberry blonde with a pretty bouquet. He asked you for a mixtape of your favorite love songs - learning a few of them on his guitar in the hopes of serenading the girl who you'd never be.
Thing was, Eddie was the only constant in your life and you felt it was impossible to walk away from him; some kind of chain keeping you from ever wondering too far. He was there from Day One, never leaving your side, and always knowing when something was wrong - until now.
When your symptoms graduated to coughing out blood daily, he didn't notice. When your chest was ready to cave in, making your breaths ragged and wheezy, he didn't notice. When your eyes became dull and lifeless due to the consistent pain that didn't let you rest through the night, he didn't notice.
What he did notice, was how Chrissy Cunningham was paying him slightly more attention since she and Jason Carver broke up. He noticed when her hair was different, he'd rave about how good she looked in the color green, gush to you in excitement when Mr. Lang had assigned them as project partners, and how Chrissy told him how funny she thought he was.
And the first day they decided to hang out together outside of educational purposes was the day you coughed out a full bloom. Floating on the surface of the water plugged in your bathroom sink was a white chrysanthemum, speckled in bright red blood; a string of red-stained saliva dripping from your mouth as you stared in shock. The face scrub popped lightly on your cheeks and fingertips, but your skincare routine was forgotten as you registered the newest symptom change.
This was new, this was much more painful. The usually beautiful flowers slowly grew in your lungs, sprouting thorns the longer you fought against your feels - refusing to admit defeat, and confess your deepest, longest kept secret.
For the following days, you were excusing yourself every single class period to retch into a toilet bowl, the blooms now sopping wet from your blood due to the shredded rawness of your throat and lungs.
Eddie didn't notice because Chrissy's perfume was still in his nostrils. Her swaying ponytail still behind his eyes. Her beaming smile painted in his mind, and fingers tingling from the ghostly memory of her hand in his.
Thorns sliced your throat, stabbed your tongue, and shredded the inside of your cheeks when you tried to spit them out as quick as possible. It was like your blood was made of glue, keeping the blooms and thorns stuck to your mouth and lips - no matter how your river of tears tried to wash them away. Or how your sobbing breath tried to force them out into the toilet - they just wouldn't budge.
Petals and flowers and thorns stuck to you, like your love for Eddie.
And Eddie didn't notice because Chrissy was wearing that skirt today, and he was telling you all about how beautiful she was instead of focusing on spending quality time with you; instead of noticing how you visibly shrunk into yourself in an effort to quell the pain throbbing in your chest and head, in an effort to block out the pain of hearing the boy you love gush about the girl he loves.
Breathing became harder, as if something were blocking your lungs. Blocking the passageway air needed to travel; blocking you out of your life. It took a physical toll; color of your eyes dulling, hair drying of any moisture, bones protruding from the harsh symptoms that refused to ease in severity. You felt fear for the first time since the 8th grade and this had all first started; trying to weigh your options over what to do.
Three options...
Eddie didn't notice your turmoil to make a decision because Chrissy agreed to a date with him.
Before you know it - years have passed since your first indication of symptoms. You prayed for deliverance, but God couldn't hear you through your gargled cries; coughing petals and blooms out between blobs of thick clots. Your pillow cases were all soiled, yet you couldn't replace them - it was futile with the way blood shot from your mouth and nose. You ran through tissues more than tampons, and your bedroom became something akin to a hospice room.
Eddie didn't notice when you dulled of life.
Being as you were now seniors, you figured showing up at Eddie's trailer in the middle of the night wasn't totally weird. After all, you both had sought refuge with the other since before you really understood what friendship meant. With worry and fear dropping your heart to your feet from the weight of your panic, you hopped in your beat up Toyota and drove through town to reach Eddie's home; used tissues scattered across the passenger seat - all saturated with blooming drops of blood.
You had no idea how to explain what was happening, but you needed to tell him. You needed help, and if there was a chance all of this could be over if you just told him the truth, you were willing to let down your walls. Eddie had always told you he'd do anything to help you, and you just banged your hands on the steering wheel as you tried to rid the idea from your mind that that, too, had changed.
When you got to Eddie's front door, the lights were on and you prayed he'd answer despite the late hour. You knocked, waited; knocked again, waited some more. After 4 minutes, you were pounding at his front door until it was shoved open - forcing you back a step - and to your horror, there stood Chrissy Cunningham... In Eddie's favorite Metallica shirt.
And only his shirt.
"Oh, hey," Chrissy smiles awkwardly, shifting her weight over her feet. Her shining strawberry blonde hair is strung off her neck in a messy bun that makes her look fucking ethereal. "Um, Eddie's in the shower... Do you want me to go get him for you?"
But the small blemish poking out from the collar of the shirt she wore made you shake your head through tears; trying to offer a small smile. "No, oh, my God, I'm so sorry, I-I didn't mean to interrupt. Shit, my bad, Chrissy," you backed away down the stairs, needing to use the railing to save yourself from falling over.
"You weren't," she assured. "We were, um... Done. H-He's in the shower, why don't you come in?" Her brows pulled together as if a string was threaded between them, offering sweetly, "I was gonna make some tea, do you want some? We could, um, hang out? Until he's out of the shower, i-if you want?"
FUCK! You knew Eddie didn't have fucking tea, so, the sweetheart must've brought it with her and now, she's offering to make you some? God damn it. Why'd she have to be so nice!?
"Oh, yeah, um, no, no thanks, Chrissy, that's really nice of you, but it's really nothing. I should just get going, I'll talk to him later, um... H-Have a nice weekend, and I'm sorry, again."
"Are you sure? You look kinda upset - I don't think you should drive right now."
Eddie didn't notice - but one look from Chrissy Cunningham and she had. If your heart wasn't broken before, it was now.
You nodded despite the pain swelling in your chest, "Yeah, no, no I'm fine - I should've just called. It's not a big deal, I'm sorry again, um, good night, Chrissy, um, yeah - just, yeah, have a nice night."
She nodded, "You, too. I hope you feel better, I'll tell Eddie you stopped by."
You trusted that she would, returning home and with petals still sticking to your tongue, charged into your mother's room. She sat up in her bed in shock - late night shifts taking their toll and leaving her sleep deprived. This was her first weekend off in months, and you felt terrible for interrupting her, but you couldn't hold it in anymore.
You needed your mother. You needed her more than ever before because your fear was tangible, and you weren't ready to die.
See, thing is, your mother was borderline your best friend (besides Eddie, that is). She and your father had been high school sweethearts, married, and he died in a tragic car accident on the night your mother was going to tell him she was pregnant on their first wedding anniversary. She never dated, she never brought a man home, she only focused on you. When you got older, she figured she could work more and you were happy to support her; taking up more house chores to save her from any unnecessary stress.
It was just you and your mother... Until Eddie, then, he was a constant presences at your dinner table. He had his own Christmas stocking your mother knitted. His favorite snacks kept in a stocked up supply for whenever he chooses to visit. And you and your mother would spend an entire day baking a cake for his birthday before hosting a full meal for him and his Uncle Wayne.
Your mother never had an issue with doing any of that because she was grateful for Eddie being in your life. It made her feel as if you'd never be alone.
However, you now felt like a burden, but the moment your mother clocked your tears and trembling hands clutching bloody tissues, she was beckoning you to her chest and begging you to tell her what was wrong as she rocked you soothingly.
So, you confessed. Everything.
From that night in 7th grade when you saw Eddie mesmerized by Chrissy Cunningham for the first time. That being the night you coughed out petals... And how everything changed and got worse from there on, and you didn't understand what was wrong, why you were suffering.
You told her about how you were now coughing out the full thorny blooms, how the bleeding wouldn't stop; how the pain was festering, spreading, and suffocating your heart, mind, and soul.
You told her about tonight... What you saw... How nice the cheerleader had been, how you couldn't find it in your heart to hate her, and how you didn't know what to do anymore.
You told her how Eddie didn't notice anymore - he couldn't see you - because he could only see Chrissy, and it was slowly killing you.
It took all night to explain, and your mother sat you at the kitchen table. She made you hot tea and plated a few cookies - talking well through the night and into the morning. She wanted to understand everything and as the sun breached the horizon, she was encouraging you to tell Eddie how you felt after reading the same book you had that explained the disease you suffered from.
You told her she was crazy, but she begged you to at least try. She validated that you had the right idea in going to his trailer; she thought that you and Eddie had always been cute, that you'd make a great couple; and though your sense of style had changed again (after it didn't get Eddie's attention, like you'd hoped), she still thought you two complimented each other well. "You balance each other, my dove," she whispered. "Tell him. Please, for your own sake."
So, you bucked up the courage to tell him on Monday. You'd see him at school and couldn't back down, leaving it neutral grounds for you both to be honest and open in. Or, so you hoped.
That morning, you caught Eddie before he could enter the school and asked to talk to him. "Shit, I meant to call you, doll," he breathed, looking at you with concern. "Chrissy said you were upset and showed up at my door - are you okay? What was wrong? I'm sorry I wasn't there."
So, when Chrissy points it out, he pays attention. Instead, you just answered, "It's okay, I'm okay. Um, c-can we go talk? Privately?"
"Of course, yeah, c'mon," he agreed, leading you to the lesser-populated hallway to slip into the old drama classroom that now posed as the Hellfire Club room. Eddie sat on his throne but leaned forward on his knees to hold your hands as you took time to think over in your mind what you wanted to say.
"Eddie," you whispered. "I-I just really need to tell you something, and you have to promise not to hate me after."
He nodded, "I could never hate you, pretty girl, and you know you can tell me anything."
"Right," you sniffled. "Well, um, listen, I just want you to know that I-I value this friendship more than anything, and never want to jeopardize it..."
"Okay, now you're scaring me," Eddie chuckled. His hands squeezed yours, encouraging, "C'mon, sweetheart, what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?"
You nodded, blurting, "I'm in love with you."
Only the silence stretched between you two like an oversized bubble of Hubba Bubba - popping as your words registered in his mind. His eyes just shot between both of yours, mouth opening to form a word before sighing and shaking his head. Panic and fear gripped your heart, lungs, and mind in a tighter vice than the white chrysanthemums' roots.
"You can't be," he finally whispered brokenly.
A record scratched in your head, "What?"
"You can't be in love with me," his head shook as he repeated his statement. "No, no, you - you can't be."
"Why can't I be? Is it that hard to imagine?"
"Because you're my best friend - you're supposed to be my best friend!" He looked spooked, startled, unsure, and like he was going to have an anxiety attack. "You can't be in love with me, you're just - no!"
"Well, I didn't exactly plan it."
"Just - stop!"
"Stop what?"
"Stop loving me!"
"You don't think I've tried!?"
"Try harder!"
"For fuck's sake, Eddie! You don't think this is hard enough?"
"Well, it'd be easier if you had some kind of restraint!" He snipped, wiping a hand down his mouth. "Shit, I mean, what the hell am I supposed to do about this?"
"I-I don't know!"
"Well, why tell me?"
You gulped, fearing telling him the truth now. Instead, you just whispered, "I-I take it you don't feel the same?"
"Shit, sweetheart," he sniffled, shaking his head, "y-you know I love you but... But no, I-I'm not in love with you."
You nod slowly, blinking even slower, "No?"
"I'm so sorry - fuck, God damn it."
"It's not your fault," you promised. "I-I didn't mean for this to happen, okay? I swear, I didn't want to do this, I never wanted things to change between us."
He nodded sadly, "I get that, I do, but I think I need time to think."
"Wait, what? Think about what, Eddie? L-Like - you need to think about us? You need time to think about us?" You squeaked, panic swelling. You started to cough lightly, that sticky feeling clogging your throat again.
"Yeah," he whispered. "Because I'm with Chrissy and I don't think she would like... This."
Now you understood... "So, because you're dating Chrissy, you can't be friends with me? We've been friends forever, Eddie, why does this have to change things?"
"Because you're in love with me! I didn't want you to be, you were supposed to be my friend. Just my friend!"
"I'm sorry it happened, but why does this mean we can't still be friends? I've dealt with it this long, I can go longer - "
"Because I'm in love with Chrissy, and can't do this to her! For fuck's sake, why'd you have to do this, huh? Why'd you have to fall in love with me right when I got a girlfriend - "
"It didn't just happen, Eddie, I've been in-love with you since middle school! But notice how we stayed friends! Please - please, we can stay friends, this doesn't have to change anything."
He shook his head, standing abruptly, "It changes everything. I gotta go - I just can't be here, I'm sorry."
"Eddie! Please! Wait, just wait, please, let me explain!" You begged, watching him flee the room; the door slamming in an echo around you and forcing the tears teetering in your waterline to fall pathetically. You felt your heart nailing you to the floor, tears falling numbly down your cheeks; hands shaking and coughing getting worse. Your hands finally found feeling again and rose, covering your mouth and nose to catch the splatter.
You hacked as your lungs shriveled to expel whatever clogged them, falling to your knees and needed to use two fingers to reach in the back of your throat to pull a full floral bloom out; blood dripping off of it and from your mouth to soak into the old, dingy carpet. The thorns pierced your finger pads when you rolled the short stem between them, the flower falling into the puddle of blood you'd spat out.
Stumbling to your feet, you kept a tissue in hand and covering your mouth; the material slowly saturating as you punched your mother's number in the outside payphone.
"Mom?" You begged into the receiver, wheezing and sobbing through the pain. Everything had changed, again. "I-I need you to take me to the hospital. Please, Mommy, i-it's hurts. 'S blood everywhere, an-and the pain - Mommy, please, it hurts so bad."
Your mother was pulling up in a skidding halt within 6 minutes. Her rubber tires burned over the pavement, slight smoke wafting into the air to indicate not just her speed, but her harsh stop when she saw your body bolting towards her.
From the side of the school, moments before the first bell rang, Robin Buckley and Nancy Wheeler watched you fully sprint for the car and how fast your mother pulled off, sharing an uneasy look before darting for the same payphone and calling Steve Harrington.
But they couldn't find you all over town, opting to wait at your house instead. They only waited for about an hour before your mother's car was pulling into the driveway.
"You gonna tell them?" Your mom muttered, smiling and waving at the three teenagers.
"Yeah," you whispered. "Doctors said keeping it a secret doesn't make it easier, right?"
She nodded, "For whatever it's worth, my dove, I think you're making the right decision. This took a lot of bravery, but you're going to get better, and you're going to feel better, too."
"I know," you whispered with a watery smile. "Just gonna suck until Thursday."
"I'll call the school, you're gonna be out for recovery for at least 2 weeks."
"Don't forget my post-op appointment," you nodded.
"Right," she agreed, opening her door and triggering you to follow suit. "Hey, kids," she beamed at your worried friends.
They greeted her politely (but enthusiastically) before she was excusing herself and heading for the house. It left you to stand before the three people, who, up until a few years ago, you wouldn't have imagined being real friends with.
Technically, you and Nancy Wheeler had been friends since before Eddie; Robin and Steve coming into your life through inter-dimensional circumstances before choosing to stick around.
"Are you okay?" Nancy asked first, looking the most worried. "We saw you running from school and thought something was wrong."
"So, you blew off school to stalk my house?" you teased lightly, trying to alleviate the pain settling on your heart after leaving the hospital.
"Exactly," Robin crossed her arms. "You ran like something was chasing you - we knew something was wrong. What is it? A-Are you okay? I mean, you looked pretty spooked, we were afraid something else came back - you know - "
"Okay, Robin, yeah," you chuckled lightly, interrupting her rapid words. "Um, I appreciate the concern, but it could've waited."
"Not when you've been acting funny for months now," Nancy shook her head. "Don't think we haven't noticed; you're skinnier, you look like you haven't slept in weeks, you carry tissues around like you're paid for it... What's up with you?"
"And I've clocked the constant nose bleeds," Steve nodded, arms folding against his chest. "Look, if something's going on, you're going to need friends through it, and we're willing to take on the job."
Your heart swelled slightly and you nodded, blinking quickly to keep the tears down. "Um, yeah... Yeah," you sniffled, looking up at them as the emotion couldn't be kept out of your voice, "something's going on, and um... I-I think I would like to tell you guys about it. Do you mind waiting in the backyard? I've gotta grab a book from inside, trust me, it can explain some things better than I can."
Nancy looked nervous as her fingers twisted together; Robin nodding before nudging her along. Steve shifted on his feet and dropped his arms, clearing his throat, "You sure?"
"Yeah," you nodded with a whisper. "Just hang tight."
He nodded with crinkled brows of concern, heading off behind the two girls as you bolted for the front door. Your mother was heard in her room, on the phone, and you dropped your school bag on your bed, snatched up the library book you checked out every year, and made for your backyard.
As kids, you and Nancy loved hanging out here because it was spacious, and your mother had a beautiful garden with patio furniture nestled amongst the greenery. At the white-washed table, Steve, Nancy, and Robin waited together, muttering quietly, and left you to take your seat.
Sighing, you opened the book and slid it forward; Nancy's hands darting to pick it up and read swiftly as you began your tale. After voicing everything to your mother, you had a better idea of how to word it all; starting with when you realized you had a crush on Eddie in the 5th grade, how it festered in middle school, and when you realized you'd only be friends - so, you kept it that way.
You told them about the tiny bits of torn up petals, then how they became intact. Next, you explained how things got worse for you; blooms being coughed out with blood, how Eddie crushed majorly on Chrissy, and then to how everything hit rock bottom.
You explained the petals changed into full blooms, sprouting thorns as you stuffed your feelings deeper inside your cracked heart. You explained the constant pain, the confusion, the sleeplessness, showed them the cuts on your lips and in your mouth; even picking a leftover petal from the inside of your cheek to prove your point.
Steve's hand deftly reached out to examine it.
You explained the mental anguish of loving someone who couldn't love you back; the anguish of being so close - yet so far; and the anguish of knowing you were being killed from the inside, out because you couldn't let go of your overwhelming feelings for Eddie 'the Freak' Munson.
Then... You told them about Chrissy and Eddie at his trailer when you went to tell him the truth. How you confided in your mother for the first time in years. How you were encouraged to tell Eddie - and how it royally backfired, which lead you to today.
To your decision.
To your appointment at the hospital that your mother bullied administration into giving you last minute.
To meeting the cardiothoracic surgeon that diagnosed you with, as the library book highlighted, Hanahaki Disease.
Steve had tears in his eyes; elbows bent on the tabletop to keep his folded hands in front of his mouth, like he was physically suppressing his emotion with the petal laid to the table. Robin stared at you the whole time, never once making you feel as if you were talking to thin air; brows crinkled and perked at appropriate moments, never interrupting.
Nancy had read the entire passage before slamming the book down and letting her tears fall. She listened intently as you explained to the three that you had to choose one of three options, and immediately after that, you told them you had come to a decision.
You'd made the appointment and you were to under the knife that Thursday before returning in two weeks for a post-op check-up that would ensure all of the blooms were cleared from your lungs. And after today, you had discovered the plants were creeping up your esophagus and if you waited, soon, it would kill you.
"Well, why're you upset?" Robin asked gently, reaching for your hand. "This is good, right? Y-You'll be cured!"
You nodded in agreement, but it was Nancy voicing, "She'll forget Eddie completely."
"What?" Steve asked, looking between you and Nancy urgently. "Are you serious?"
"It's the only contingency in exchange for my life," you nodded.
"You've been friends forever," he shook his head, leaning back. "No, I just - I can't believe him. He doesn't love you back? That's just bullshit - c'mon!"
"Steve - "
"No, seriously!" he cut Robin off, her hand tightening in mine. "We've all seen how he looks at you, how he behaves! It doesn't make sense, it's not possible. He's just scared," his head shook still, looking angry with pinched brows. "He's scared and he's not thinking."
"No, Stevie," you whispered, "he understands, and trust me, he doesn't feel the same. It's okay."
"You'll forget your best friend," Steve shook his head. "That's not okay."
"It's a small price to pay, right?"
Nancy nodded, "If it means you're out of pain, and you won't die, yeah, I'd say it's a reasonable price to pay."
You agreed, "It's gonna be okay, but I'll be in recovery until the surgeon okay's me to return to school and normal activity."
"Will you remember why you need the surgery?" Robin wondered.
"Apparently not," you shrugged.
For the next few days, you remained at home and prepared for your operation. Your mother worked extra shifts because she was taking Thursday through TBD in order to take care of you, and your friends visited you everyday.
Nobody spoke of Eddie, who had asked Robin that Wednesday where you were - only to receive a fierce glare and slammed locker in his face. Chrissy's brows furrowed at the aggression, worrying something was wrong with you if your friends were shunning Eddie. She reminded him of how upset you'd been when you showed up at his trailer, his mind flashing to when he found a bloodied white chrysanthemum in the Hellfire room after he left you when you confessed your feelings for him.
He knew that was why you showed up at his trailer that night, and his heart constricted as he grew cold in your absence. He had to admit, if you've had these feelings since middle school, you never let it interfere with your friendship and he was a fool for blowing up at you.
Could it really be that hard to love you? Was the idea that far fetched?
The day of your surgery, your mother and you pushed out of your front door at 4 am to make it to the hospital for pre-op; blood work; all the standard procedures that needed done before you were sliced open and roots carved out of your lungs. And to your honest shock? Steve Harrington was waiting on the street, leaning on his car, dressed in a pair of jeans and an old hoodie.
"What're you doing here?" You wondered, oblivious to your mother's knowing smirk.
Steve shrugged lightly, "Figured you'd want a familiar face around, and Nance and Robin have tests in school today - otherwise, they'd be here, too."
"'Too'?" You repeated with a soft smile.
"Yeah, well, I-I'd still be here," he nodded. "Is that okay?"
"Yeah," you breathed, nodding with a soft smile. "I think I'd really appreciate the, um..."
"Support? Comfort? Seeing my pretty face when you wake up from anesthesia?" He grinned.
"All of the above, Harrington, c'mon," you chuckled, waving him with you. In your mother's car, she kept conversation light as a distraction when your nerves flared the closer you drove to the hospital; the boy in the back doing his best to chime in charmingly. Steve was allowed to stay with you once in the pre-op procedure room (again, your mother bullied hospital admin into letting him stay), and cracked a few really poor jokes while needles were poked into your skin.
Medicine was administered, your hair stuffed into a surgical cap, vitals taken for a final time - and then it was time to go.
When you were wheeled away, Steve squeezed your hand and your mother kissed your forehead; both wishing you luck, reminding you of your brave decision, and sent you down the sterile hallway. While staring up at the blinding, florescent lights of the operating room, a gas mask was placed over your mouth and the anesthesiologist instructing you to count backward from ten... And your heart begged you to change your mind.
Begged you not to erase Eddie. Begged you to jump off that table.
But your mind told only your tongue to move, and you counted, "Ten."
Eddie's soft hair through your fingers, "Nine."
Eddie's stupid grin when he's showing you a new guitar riff he'd mastered, "Eight."
Eddie's laugh, "Seven."
The warmth of Eddie's hugs, "Six."
His hands holding your cheeks, thumbs sweeping to clear your tears as he would coo to you, trying to calm you down, "...Five..."
"She's out," the doctors nodded to one another; scalpels clinking over the sterile table, machines beeping to indicate vital readings, and rubber gloves snapped into place as your hospital gown was peeled away, and disinfecting betadine squirted over your skin.
Across town, in the hallways of Hawkins High, Eddie was pacing by your locker. He looked disheveled, not himself; confused and scared, by what Robin could judge.
"What're you doing here?" she shot venomously, using her hand to push his chest and force him back a step from your locker.
"Where is she?" he begged. "Please, Robin, I know she's hurt - I know I hurt her, but I have to talk to her an-and she hasn't been at school all week. Please - I have to talk to her."
She used your combination to open your locker and set the packet of missed work inside for her to pick up at the end of the day, sneering, "It's too late."
"No, it's not - "
"No, seriously, Eddie," she snapped, the locker slamming in an echo. "It's too late for you. She's let you go, time for you to do the same."
For two weeks, Eddie repeated the last words he'd said to you, how broken you looked when he said he didn't love you. The words you said to him, then how you weren't seen again, to that bloody flower he found, and how Robin, Nancy, and Steve were all giving him the cold shoulder. He thought over what went wrong and every single way he was going to make it up to you, because while he might be in love with Chrissy Cunningham, there was never replacing you - and he needed you.
Eddie needed you.
And his heart sunk to his stomach as he realized how bitter he's turned; shunning Chrissy, becoming testy, canceling Hellfire, and missing you to the point he was tugging his hair out of his scalp and chain smoking cigarettes.
Loving you was easy and maybe he's loved you longer than he's known - longer than he ever wanted to admit. But missing you was hard, and Eddie wasn't accustomed to it.
It was supposed to be easy between you two, but when you confessed your feelings, Eddie felt everything become messy and change. Eddie Munson wasn't very good with change. He missed your laugh, he missed your comfort, a few times he'd even looked up to his bed when he mastered a new guitar riff - and feeling his heart sink in disappointment when he only saw Chrissy.
Granted, she was smiling at him, but it wasn't your smile. Tears filled his eyes when he realized he spent every Friday with Chrissy, finding new ways to impress the cheerleader, and feeling crushed when he remembered he never needed to impress you. You were always proud of him, you always encouraged him, and with a single look, you could say more than ever opening your mouth.
Eddie needed you, and he had ruined any chance of loving you properly. But Edward Munson was stubborn and not willing to give up, not until you were beating him off with a stick. The two of you had been friends forever and he knew you had some fights, but one way or another, someone was always apologizing and together, you could move past the issue. So, until you were telling him to fuck off, he was going to try - because you had never given up on him.
Two weeks of nothing. Two weeks of your home's voicemail. Two weeks of nobody answering the front door. Two weeks of confusion, heartache, and stress. Two weeks of smoking packs of cigarettes, of snapping at Chrissy, of praying to a God he's never prayed to before.
When he saw you that Friday, Eddie's heart leapt into his throat and he gave a strangled gasp before sprinting across the carpark to make it to your side. You were surrounded by Nancy Wheeler and Robin Buckley, all three piling out of Steve Harrington's car - who now leaned on his driver's door, mid-conversation - and he thought you looked more beautiful than ever.
The weight you've lost had slowly built back up now that you weren't constantly vomiting. Your head had cleared, your heart feeling lighter than ever before, your veins racing with helium, and the bags under your eyes had cleared. In fact, your eyes looked clearer than they ever had, and your skin was practically glowing.
God did you look good.
Eddie panted your name, coming to a skidding halt as Steve pushed off his car and looked at you with worry.
Why would Harrington need to worry about you?
"Oh, uh, hi there?" you nodded at him, tugging your binder closer to your chest and sending a cautious look to Robin.
But Eddie's heart was in his throat, "I-I need to talk to you, please."
To his horror, you shook your head, "Um, I don't think we actually have anything to talk about."
"What? No, we have so much to discuss, please, I know I was a jackass and you don't deserve that - "
"Wait, hang on, I-I'm sorry. You don't understand, we don't have anything to talk about," you chuckled weakly, "because I don't know you."
Ice shot into Eddie's veins, stuttering, "W-What? Th-That's not funny, doll, don't joke like that."
You looked at Nancy for support, whispering in a small, panicked voice, "I don't know him, do I, Nance? I don't think I know him."
"No, honey," Nancy assured, smiling softly at you before glaring at Eddie. "He's just a classmate."
Eddie knew Nancy was protective of you but what the hell was going on? What kind of a sick prank was this? Look, Eddie knew he's pulled some mean jokes in his life but this? This wasn't mean, it was cruel, and he didn't find it funny in the least bit.
"What? No - what the hell are you guys talking about?" Eddie begged, looking between the four teenagers. "Sweetheart, it's me - it's Eddie. It's your Eddie, please, what do you mean you don't know me - what's going on? This isn't funny, sweetheart, please, okay? Look, we've known each other a decade, right, how can you - how can you not know me?"
"I'm really sorry, um... Eddie? Was it Eddie?"
His heart shattered, shards stinging as they were pumped through the rest of his body. "Sweetheart, no, please, I just... I'm so sorry, but this isn't funny - "
"Look, I'm really sorry, but this isn't a joke, I really don't know you," your head shook. "And I would remember someone I've known a decade - right?" You asked Nancy again, looking nervous. "I-I don't know him, but he knows me. Nancy, I-I don't understand, I don't know what's wrong. Is something wrong with me?"
"No, honey," she rushed to speak, sending Steve a pointed look when stress made your eyes shine. "You're okay, you're okay, it's okay."
"Okay, hey, hey, hey, okay," Steve stepped in, pushing Eddie back a few steps. "You need to back off, you're upsetting her."
"I'm upsetting her?" he repeated, tears collecting as his feet tried to plant against Steve's force. "She doesn't remember me - "
"Back off, dude," Steve warned.
"I'm really sorry," you called to him, genuine look of distorted pain over your face. "I'm sorry," you repeated to Robin and Nancy, "I-I don't know him, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I-I don't know what's wrong, I'm sorry - "
"Hey, hey, breathe, okay? It's all fine, it's all good, you're okay, I promise, just try to focus on breathing," Robin assured, hand rubbing circles over your back.
"No! Baby! You do know me!" Eddie begged over Steve's shoulder as Nancy turned you away. "Please! No! You know me, baby! Don't do this, please, please, I need you! Sweetheart - please! I need you, and I'm so sorry for what I said! Don't do this! No, please, I-I'm sorry!"
His heart glued itself back together just to shatter once again when Robin took your books to let your hands slap over your ears to block him out as Nancy directed you away - Steve still pushing Eddie back.
"Dude!" Steve snapped with anger coloring his iris' a darker shade, "You're fucking upsetting her!"
"Steve, please - "
"No," Steve shook his head. "You had your chance, and it's too late. Okay? Leave her alone, she doesn't remember and doesn't need you trying to 'remind' her when it's already done, dude. Okay? It's done."
"What the hell does that mean? Please, Steve, I need her - she's my best friend and I can fix this," Eddie begged.
Steve felt fleeting compassion for the other boy, seeing the distress and heartbreak over his face. Steve sighed, glancing back to see you being spoken to softly by Nancy and Robin, assuring you it was okay not to remember the boy with long hair, before turning to look into the eyes that had broken your heart on too many occasions.
"She doesn't remember because you were removed from her memory, Ed, you were just... All of you was removed from her, okay?" Steve sighed finally. "Look, it's hard to explain, but do yourself and her a favor?"
"Anything."
"Go to the library and look this up," he pulled a torn piece of paper from his pocket, handing it over. "It'll explain what was wrong, and you should hopefully be able to piece together why she can't remember you. Don't make this harder, all right? She's finally okay, and you were so sure you didn't want her that it's time for you to be okay without her, too. Don't do this to her, man, you get me?"
"What did I do?" Eddie whispered.
Steve gulped, shaking his head, "You couldn't love her back."
Eddie stood there, piece of paper clutched in his fingertips like the petal of a flower, as Steve turned and headed for you three girls. He lifted his arm to bring you in for a side hug, assuring you that it was okay not to remember - while Eddie stood there, like you had so many times, watching with tears and heartbreak in his eyes.
He didn't go to classes, he obsessively searched books for the Hanahaki Disease Steve told him about; finding his answers, and never finding peace. He had to live everyday watching you really bloom into your own person; becoming more radiant by the passing second, realizing he was draining you of your life before, and how there wouldn't ever be room for him with you now.
When you graduated with an acceptance to your first choice college, you returned home in your cap and gown with a giggling Robin and Nancy; planning on changing and getting ready to hit a few grad parties already. The girls were so excited that you were feeling (and looking) better now that they didn't want to waste anymore time and insisted you all hit a few parties. However, before you could hop up the stairs to your room, a large bouquet of flowers caught your attention.
Sat on your kitchen counter was a thick bouquet of white chrysanthemums. There was no note, no signature, but something in your gut twisted with knowledge. Your fingers reached out to gently stroke the petals before smiling lightly, leaning in to sniff them, and then turn for the stairs to rush up to your bedroom.
All the while across town, a long haired metalhead in a matching green cap and gown, tipped a bottle of Irish whiskey to his lips; a single stemmed white chrysanthemum rolled between his fingers; old polaroid photos scattered around his body on the floor, tears sliding down his cheeks, and regret echoing across his mind.

October Sun
summary: the ability had manifested after your first semester of 7th grade. after the farmhouse cellar and the trail through the woods. after the EMTs and the policemen and Then Deputy Baxter. it was something you kept to yourself although you knew your mother had her suspicions. it made you more vulnerable to the things that go bump in the night, which was why you never used it. or so you thought.
pairing: Wally Clark x fem!reader
warnings: eventual smutty smut smut. and mad spoilers. and obvious Canon divergence.
at last, the bbys have words! which means this is a long one 🕊️

OCTOBER SUN pt.9
The pulse between you and Wally flared to a fever pitch, swirling and cresting around you, into you, through you. One hand in your hair, fingers kneading; the other secure on your hip, supporting you firmly in his arms.
You wanted to bask in it forever, an intoxicating maelstrom of sensation, and all at once every pop ballad you'd heard growing up made sense. The kiss deepened and shallowed; a swipe of his tongue, twin gasps, a moan, then back in, hungry and untethered.
Wally placed you on the edge of the stage, careful, like a totem at an altar, his lips never leaving yours for more than a breath. He stood between your thighs, big hands roaming down your arms to your waist, hips, up again, fingers teasing under the hem of your t-shirt.
Gradually, the feeling of hot need now lessened, though didn't dissipate completely. Rather, it softened into something contented, manageable. Satisfied now that you and Wally were tangled in each other's space.
Thoughts filtered in through the thinning cloud; questions you had to ask; admissions you had to give, so you put a stalling hand on Wally's chest and nudged gently.
"Wait," You said, and now you knew what you sounded like after being ravished to oblivion, wow. "We need to talk."
Wally blinked his eyes open, sweet brown almost entirely eclipsed by arousal. His lips, kiss-plumped and red, turned up in a smile you couldn't help but mirror.
Even though you'd shunned reason and responsibility—had gone against a lifetime of rules and shared yourself with a ghost—you felt at peace for the first time in days.
"What's up, baby?" Wally asked, pressing his forehead to yours. He took your hands in his, fingers laced, and waited for you to speak. But as you were about to, a lightbulb seemed to blink on in his head and he straightened. "Hold up," his voice dropped to a panicked whisper. "If you don't want anyone else to know, we should get out of here or Mina—"
"Is on lunch—" you air quoted, "—for another thirty minutes. She goes twice a day, sits outside the door, eats the same ham and cheese her mom packed her, and smokes the same cigarette she stole off Miranda Paterson before rehearsal."
Wally gaped, "I~ did not know that." Then he frowned cutely, "How do you know that?"
"My mom." You admitted, "She graduated the same year Mina died and warned me about it before I started here. She actually witnessed Mina's first loop." You grimaced, "The benefits of a residual haunting, I guess."
"Residual haunting?"
As you spoke, you crossed your ankles at the small of Wally's back and guided him back to you, "Basically, the worst kind of loop the dead can get stuck in." A peck to his lips, "At least, in my opinion."
"You know a lot about this stuff, huh?" He asked through quick, dry kisses of his own, grinning smugly when you chased his mouth as he leaned away.
You blushed and licked your lips, watched in fascination as Wally tracked the movement before doing the same. He squeezed the curve of your hips, fingertips digging into your flesh, pulled you roughly against him, and nipped your lower lip.
"Tease," He said, rolling his hips against you so you could feel how worked up he was.
You moaned, the pulse flaring again, brief and bright, and oh hell no, you had to talk. Hoping to temper the connection back to a simmering second thought, you decided to answer Wally's question.
"My family has a long and unique history with the paranormal. According to my Nanna, we can trace it all the way back to the Arthurian Age." You punctuated your statement with a lingering kiss, separating on a sigh. "You make it really hard to concentrate."
You felt kind of dumb admitting that aloud and were relieved when Wally snickered, "Back at you, baby."
He stroked the back of his pointer finger down your cheek, gazing at you as if in worship. It was heady being on the receiving end of such a look, and you hoped he saw in your eyes equal awe and appreciation.
"How about we just—" He took a step backward, out of your space, and instantly the connection between you protested.
You whimpered, a grouchy kitten of a sound, and he reinserted himself between your legs, hands smoothing up your thighs to your hips where they rested.
"Or not." He said. After a lengthy pause, he asked, "Do you have any idea what this is?"
"Nope. And we have a pretty specific collection of books at home. I couldn't find anything that talks about what this—" You indicated between you and him, "—might be. I'm praying that there'll at least be something there about why I can't see Maddie." You hadn't meant to divulge that tidbit so casually, but there it was.
Wally was visibly shocked, "Hold up, you can't see Maddie?" You shook your head, "So. At the bus stop yesterday, you really had no idea she was there?"
Holy shit, "Maddie was there?!"
Not all ghosts were visible, true, but every ghost had an assortment of ways to signal their presence. And you hadn't received any of them. No niggling thoughts in the back of your mind or strange prickles up your spine or high-pitched ringing in your ears. Zero, zip, zilch, nada.
"Yeah, she followed you and, uh, What's His Name—"
"Simon." You supplied, distracted.
"Him, yeah. She followed you guys out there. Wanted to see if you knew something about what happened to her."
Casting your mind back to yesterday's conversation, you tried to recall if Simon mentioned anything worthwhile. Except, he hadn't wanted to talk about Maddie. Not initially, not until you brought her up. Simon had wanted to talk about, "Whether or not I can see ghosts..." You glanced up at Wally. "That can't be coincidence. What if Simon's like me and he just can't see Maddie, either?"
Wally gave you a sympathetic look, "Trust me, that guy can't see ghosts."
"And how would you know that?" You raised a skeptical eyebrow.
"I've been here for a while, pretty girl." For some reason, that fact made your heart ache, "You're the second person with a pulse I've seen who I ever thought might be able to see me back."
"Second?"
Wally stared at you, long and hard, as if anticipating the pieces would slot into place. When they didn't, he helped you along, "You don't really look like her, you know?"
"Ah, yeah, obviously." Your mother, who had been a freshman at Wally's final Homecoming game. Your eyes narrowed, "How do you know it was my mom?"
"Back then, I didn't. But, after what you mentioned, it doesn't take a genius." Wally chuckled. "She never talked to me. And I never felt like this with her." He emphasized his point by delivering a bruising, heated kiss, parting with a wet-sticky smack.
Dazed, "Yeah, pretty sure that's something she'd lecture me about if it happened before. At least we can rule out that it's a 'you thing'."
"Cool, so it's not me. What about you?" Wally said, expression calculating, "What's changed?"
You cocked your head, "What do you mean?"
This time, Wally kissed you softly before he said, "Babe, you've managed to ignore me for three years because neither of us felt desperate to climb into each other's skin. So...why now?"
He was right.
You were a little impressed and a lot turned on. Wally had always come across to you as a bit of a stereotypical jock: somewhat slow on the uptake, but well-meaning and full of heart. And muscle. And stop it right there, not the time!
It made you consider that, while there was this intense, driving connection between you both, you didn't really know Wally Clark that well at all. Yes, you'd observed Wally from afar for the duration of your high school career, but up until yesterday, you'd never spoken, never revealed personal secrets or interests or anything.
As far as you were aware, he liked football and football-related things, and you were pretty sure he had an equally shallow idea of what made you tick aside from being able to see dead people.
Saddened by the realization, you blurted, "What's your favorite color?"
Wally seemed adorably rightly confused, "What?"
You repeated, "Your favorite color, what is it?"
"Um, red. What's yours?"
"Purple." Some days. "Or dark orange." Sounded more accurate, but actually, "Mostly green, but not, like, neon or anything."
Wally pressed his lips together, suppressing a goofy smile for a couple of seconds before surrendering it. "That answer totally suits you." He bussed you on the nose, making you go cross-eyed for a moment, "Do colors mean something?"
"No," You shook your head lightly, twinkling, "I just thought we should probably get to know each other better if we're gonna be under the influence of random hedonist ghost energy."
"Do you think that's what's making your powers go on the fritz?" Wally wondered, his phrasing punching a laugh out of you.
"Nah, it's not as simple as a glitch in the Matrix. This shit doesn't get glitchy."
Taking him by the wrists, you led his hands behind you so that you were more fully encased in his arms, tucking your head under his chin and circling your arms loosely around his waist. You felt safe, wrapped up in him like that. Like nothing bad could or would ever happen to you again.
"Okay..." He said, picking through what information you'd given him so far. "If your ghost powers are working and it's not because of whatever's going on with us, maybe it's Maddie? Maybe you can't see her because she's new? She hasn't been dead as long as the rest of us, only since last Friday..."
"Uhm, yeah, also not how this works." You replied playfully, bumping the tip of your nose to his, "Trust me, it takes four minutes before a person goes from attached to their earthen vessel to haunting the science lab."
A wicked, ruthless moment for everyone involved.
The scar on your left hand itched, reminding you of the nightmare that had hauled you in and coughed you out of that farmhouse cellar. Where you'd discovered—down to the second—how long it takes a soul to disconnect from the living world and cross over.
You groaned, "Maddie can't be dead." A hill you would proudly die on because that was the only explanation that made any kind of sense.
Wally wasn't convinced, "She seems pretty dead to me. I can see her. Rhonda, and Charley, and the others can see her. No one else can."
Feeling like a parrot, you repeated, "And I can't. What if...What if she isn't dead? What if she's trapped?"
"You mean more trapped than the rest of us?"
The statement inspired a whole host of questions that you forced yourself to ignore for the time being.
"This is gonna sound insane—"
"You're literally talking to a ghost."
"Insane-er," You amended, "But Maddie could've slipped into an In Between somehow." You barely had an argument, the list of hypotheticals dismal against what knowledge you'd collected from various factual sources, but you weren't willing to let it go. "Look, death is a very direct journey from one plane to the next, no detours. But if she isn't dead, then it could be possible."
Wally's eyes seemed to be trailing an onslaught of thoughts as they traveled across his mind. "Okay, yeah, you're right, that sounds insane. What the hell is an In Between?"
"It's—" A distant metallic snap-shudder pierced the otherwise quiet theater, interrupting you. Before you were able to discern where it had come from, you felt a hand grab your shoulder from behind.
You gasped, knocked back into yourself, and when you looked up, you saw Wally in a state of bewilderment, standing with his mouth agape and eyes the size of dinner plates, at the end of the center aisle that's length now divided you.
A familiar, though markedly less friendly, voice demanded, "What are you doing in here?" and when you glanced over your shoulder, Mr. Anderson stared, hard and haggard, awaiting your explanation.

The Past Is The Past
Tara Carpenter x Fem!Reader
Summary: Tara was faced with her 3 ghostface, and this time got so seriously injured she was in a coma. When she wakes up, she has no memory of the past 3 years...including you, her girlfriend.
Notes: Imagine this as our gals scream 7...since Jenna apparently quit and left me fucking DYING
Warnings: Uh, injury, violence, blood, our boy ghostyface with knives. Coma and memory loss if thats even a warning. Swearing. Uhm. Shitty 7th grade writing.
This may become a multi-part story. Not sure. If we hit 250 notes maybe I'll make it a series.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tara plopped down on the small couch, burnt out. She'd just been released from the hospital. She was home. At least, that's where she thinks she is. It didn't look much like the home she remembered.
Sam had taken her home, which was weird to begin with, because she hadn't seen Sam since they were kids.
She had a stab wound in her side. That too was weird. She had hundreds of scars littering her torso and one that seemingly went through her hand. That's a curious scar. She'll have to ask Sam about that one.
She knew she had lost her memory. The doctors had told her. Her last memory was from 2020. She has seen Sam's face. She'd been worried, definitely worried. But she looked almost..relieved? Like something had happened in the past 3 years that they all wanted to forget.
She had friends still. The same ones she'd had for years before. Mindy and Chad. They told her that Wes and Liv had moved away. They didn't mention Amber.
That was weird.
Amber is her best friend.
There's a new girl, too. Her name is Y/N. Tara has no memory of the girl, but weirdly enough, Y/N seemed the most hurt by Tara's memory loss. Maybe it was because they'd met during the lost time, and she was the only person that Tara didn't remember.
Y/N kept her distance from Tara, too. She never made eye-contact with her. Always stayed far away. Never even said her name out loud, always referring to her by nodding in her direction. They'd never had a one-on-one conversation, not in the many weeks she'd come to visit Tara.
Why was this girl, this girl Tara didn't even know, so weird around her?
She's quite pretty too, with her (Your hair color) hair, and those pretty (Color) eyes. She's a sweetheart, from what Tara's seen with her interactions with the others.
Maybe they had history. Bad history. The kind of history that makes people hate each other even after they apologize and make up. Maybe they were close, and she wasn't sure how to begin the relationship again.
Tara wasn't sure. And she wasn't about to ask, either. Everyone was so...touchy with the topic. They wouldn't even allow her to know where Wes and Liv had moved, or even their phone numbers. Amber's name was avoided like some sort of plague. Y/N might be here, solid and alive in front of her, but somehow, that seemed like an even more dangerous zone to travel into.
This whole memory loss thing was giving Tara a headache.
But she just had to know.
Who is Y/N?

Erm.. haiiiii :3
It's been a while I'm sorry.. T^T
Buttt i do have something that's been brewing for a while~
Professor!Lucifer x gn!reader smut
--
Professor Lucifer needs a day off. A desperate day off. The piles of homework he needs to grade, the hours of lectures back to back, and the nonsense that he has to deal from his brothers. It all makes him irritable and a mess.
He sat at his desk in his classroom, one hand in his hair, his elbow resting on the desk and the other tightly holding a pen that scratched against a completed homework assignment. There was a point where the answer was so ridiculous that he had to put down his pen with a heavy sigh. Professor Lucifer rubbed his eyes in exhaustion, he had to get his energy up. He fears that he would have a heart attack if he went onto his 7th cup of coffee that night. What else could get his heart pumping and give him some adrenaline to keep going through the night?...
You sighed as you held your test that marked a big fat 'F' on the top. Didn't Professor Lucifer know how hard you studied? All those nights playing videos for the study guide to be completed the morning it was due takes alot of effort! The nerve of that man! He might as well be a demon!
You let out another sigh as you continued to walk down the hall. What should you say to your professor? Maybe some pity sob story would let him give you another chance to retake the test. Although Professor Lucifer wasn't the type to have mercy. You reached for the door of his classroom, hoping that he was in after hours. Yet, he must be since there was an...odd noise coming from the room.
You carefully opened the door, peeking in. Before you could call out his name, your mouth hung open at the sight before you. Your professor with the top buttons of his shirt loose, his hair messy and sticking to the sweat on his forehead, and furthermore...his hand pumping his cock. His eyes were closed in bliss as his hand squeezed around his cock. It could almost make you drool,,
He didn't see you yet so you should run away now and pretend you never saw him. And yet...
The sight of his eyes scrunched up in desperation for release, his cheeks tinted in a light pink. Unfortunately the desk covered the sight of how hard and throbbing his cock was. What a shame.
You quickly close the door silently and knock on it, pretending to just arrive. You could hear the man behind the door, scrambling to situate himself before he let out an irritated "Come in."
You open the door again, closing it behind you and see Professor Lucifer still in a disheveled look. "Hi, Professor," you greet with a sly smile. Professor Lucifer's face was still a light pink, "Yes, hello, is there something you needed, y/n?"
"Yeah, this test.." you held out your failed test to him, he glanced over it. He was seriously interrupted for this? "What about it?" He asked, looking up at you with his brows furrowed.
"I don't think I understand the materials, Professor...I was wondering if you could help me?" You said, eyeing him up and down. After seeing him in his previous state, it wouldn't hurt to have some fun. Plus, it wasn't like your professor was ugly. He was absolutely gorgeous.
Professor Lucifer simply handed your test back, "There's a tutoring center in the building, go get help there and leave me be." He muttered. You smile, the perfect 'I scratch your back, you scratch mine' idea popping into your head.
"But Professor," you start, "I'd rather you help me, I'm more comfortable with you." You look at him innocently, "And besides, I can tell you're comfortable in the classroom~"
"What do you mean?"
You smile and lean over the desk, "I saw you." You whisper. Professor Lucifer felt his heart sank. Before he could conjure up an excuse uou waved your hand, "It's okay, I'm not gonna report you or anything. I want to help you," you move around the desk to face him. Professor Lucifer still seated in his chair, his face stoic as ever and yet his eyes wide with intriguing emotion.
You knelt to the ground between his legs, "Oh, Professor...you're still hard.." you tease, cupping his erection through his pants. "I'll fix that~"
-
Professor Lucifer's cute whimpers quickly filled the room. His pants down to his thighs as you licked all around the red tip of his hard cock. It was so much prettier up close, and so much thicker too... and to think he was going to take care of it himself.
You wrap your warm lips around the head of his cock, lowly inching down the length as your drool dripped down to his balls. Professor Lucifer's head was tilted back, the unbearable tingle of arousal lingering in his groin as he held your hair. His thighs shivered as he let out a shuttered breath, "All of it." He breathed out, eagerly pushing your head down until your nose brushed against the black pubic hairs above his cock. You moaned around his cock, his eyes slightly rolling back in pleasure. You started to move your head up and down on his cock, trying your best not to gag around his length. "Sh,,shit...just like that..aah~" your professor moaned, intently watching the way his thick cock disappears down your throat.
After a while, the urge for release was too much for your poor professor. He stood up, cock deep down your throat and he started to thrust his hips forward. You moan in surprise, you struggled to keep your eyes open as you felt the tip of his cock touch the back of your throat repeatedly. Oh how it would feel deep inside you..
Professor Lucifer's thrusts became rough, causing you to reach out for anything to ground yourself; his thighs, the desk, some homework assignments slipping to the floor. Professor Lucifer's eyes rolled back as he held your head down and abruptly stopped his pace, a low groan leaving his throat as he shot warm cum down your throat and in your mouth. His cum was thick too. Once he slipped his soft cock out your mouth, you tried your best to swallow his cum, coughing slightly. Lucifer sat back in his chair, reaching out and using his thumb to wipe remnants of cum off the side of your mouth.
"I think we can come up with something of an alliance, y/n."

NDOSJ this was so much longer than I thought it would be but hopefully this is a good apology for the lack of Luci dick from me 🥺

Mix Up;
Childhood friends to lovers, 18+, oral, reader (fem) rides jake, sex in a car
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“y/n! wake up” your best friend haewon says shaking you awake “class is over” she says packing up her stuff “how do you fall asleep during class?” Jake says behind you screeching his chair as he stands up, you roll your eyes at his comment “i stayed up writing an essay all night! im tired!” you say stuffing you bag with your things walking out the classroom “maybe you shouldn’t hold everything for last minute” Jake says cheekily “piss off” you say playfully pushing him out your way, “see you later” he said ruffling your hair running to his friends
“you like him don’t you” Haewon says wiggling her eyebrows at you, “shut up i do not” she was right though you secretly liked jake since you guys were little. Your moms were close before you guys were even born so you automatically became friends coming out the womb, you almost always had the same classes with him and hung out almost everyday at each others house. Up until the 7th grade, his little girl friend at the time didn’t like you guys being so close so out of respect you decided to back off but their relationship only lasted like a month, you guys remained friends as if nothing ever really happened.
You sat outside under a tree with Haewon waiting for your next class while you guys ate your lunch “hey y/n!” jaebom said smiling “hey” you replied just wanting to eat your sandwich, jaebom is one of your classmates part of this group project you have “i was wondering if you wanted to meet later to work on our project” “oh yeah sure! what about the rest” you asked “they said they’ll try to make it too” he said unsure “i’ll meet you at the school cafe around 6?” he added as you agreed. “fyi jake was staring him down” Haewon said pointing with her head towards jakes direction, haewon watched jake following Jaebom with his eyes “you’re delusional” you say stealing a fry from her lunch “im serious y/n! but whatever” she says continuing to eat.
“It’s raining later! don’t forget your umbrella in your locker!” Haewon yells walking the opposite direction from the cafe as you wave goodbye, You went to go get your umbrella but immediately stopped in your tracks seeing jake and one your female classmates hugging in front of your locker. Feeling a pang in your chest you quickly walked away heading towards the cafe, after greeting your group members you sat down to begin working on your project. After an hour the rest went home leaving you alone with Jaebom.

After an hour the rest went home leaving you alone with Jaebom.

Jake was waiting for y/n by her locker waiting for her to show up “jake!” his classmate yells in the hall “whats up chaein?” “i have to make up a quiz right now and i just need help with this question” She said quickly showing him the paper “oh its simple” Jake replied writing down the formula to help chaein solve the problem “you’re a life saver!” she said giving him a thankful hug “no worries! good luck” jake smiled back as she said thanks and ran to her class. He waited a couple for minutes before his friends started asking him where he was, he sighed looking around the halls before he left to meet up with his friends sunghoon and jay to play basketball for a while. “Lets call it a day” Jay said noticing the dark clouds coming in, agreeing they all made their way home. Jake had left his car parked right across the cafe from the campus where he noticed you sitting across some guy smiling and laughing towards him, “isn’t that y/n?” Sunghoon asked tilting his head, Jake stood there feeling jealous take over him “come on jake” Jay said tapping his back signaling him to walk again.
“I better get going before it rains” You say packing your things “right! it looks like its gonna pour heavy” jaebom adds “i’ll see you” he says as you wave back, you start walking quickly back home wanting to beat the rain but you were too late though, five minutes later it started pouring. You mentally yelled in your head as you sped walked the streets, you forgot to grab your umbrella after seeing jake and chaein. You cursed to yourself feeling jealous again, a car you recognized slowly pulled up next to you hoking lightly “y/n ! get in” Jake says with the window down, you couldn’t really stay mad at him so you hopped in the passenger seat quickly.
You both didn’t say a word too jealous and annoyed with each other to even speak, as you move the wet hairs from your face looking at the mirror until jake broke the silence “Your little boyfriend couldn’t give you a ride home?” Jake said with annoyance “boyfriend?? hes not my boyfriend” you answer back “i was working on a group project, everyone else left early leaving us to do the work, not that i need to explain that to you” you say annoyed furrowing your eyebrows “oh” he clears his throat as you both went silent again “i would’ve had my umbrella if you weren’t hugging up some girl in front of my locker… i didn’t want to ruin your moment” you say sarcastically “what are you talking— OOH” he says loudly “chaerin just needed help with a quiz” “so you guys hugged?” you asked confused “well she hugged me, she was grateful for my smart brain” jake said teasing you as you glared at him rolling your eyes. “is y/n jealous?” Jake asks playfully gasping “no” “yes you are, you’re doing that thing with your knees facing them the opposite direction from me when you’re annoyed ” he says pointing to your knees facing the car door “im not” you insist as he sighs and pulls over “im not dropping you off home until you tell me whats bothering you then” He says putting the car in park, you pull your lips together not wanting to tell him “y/n tell me what’s bothering you” Jake whines reaching for your thigh to shake it making you feel a spark looking at him “i can’t” you say afraid “i can’t because i cant lose you as a friend” you say frustrated while jake looked at you with hope in his eyes. He decided to shoot his shot first “i like you y/n” Jake replied rather quickly “what?” you say breathing heavier looking into his eyes “i like you” he said louder as a smile creeped your face “you better not be joking right now jake” you say afraid to confess, he unlocks his seatbelt leaning towards you reaching for your face with one hand pulling you closer, planting a soft kiss in your lips “i like you y/n” he says once more.
it’s this time where you slam you lips back onto his like a magnet, breaking the kiss a bit as you make your way to the drivers seat sitting in top of him pulling him in for another kiss. Jake is getting rougher as you slowly start grinding your hips on top of his growing bulge causing him to grunt sending you butterflies in your stomach making you go harder throwing your head back while he kisses your neck with his plump lips finding your sensitive spot and sucking on it causing you to let a moan slip out “fuck baby you don’t know how long i’ve been wanting to hear you moan” jake whispered “you’ve been thinking about me like that?” you smirked giggling as jake smiled with his eyes closed embarrassed he admitted that “jake” you say with your hands on his chest “mmh?” he says opening them “i want to ride you” you say firmly as he searches your eyes “you’re driving me crazy” He says kissing you again pulling his pants down to his knees, while you removed yours, you finally saw his cock all red and sore waiting to explode any minute. Something came over you wanting to hold it so you did reaching out for it wrapping your hands around his pretty cock, “fuck” Jake hissed throwing his head back you pumped it a couple of times before finally putting your lips on it kissing his tip making him moan, he thrusted his hip for cock to enter your pretty mouth. He was fucking your mouth throwing his head back in satisfaction biting his lips sinking into his seat, swirling your tongue on his cock drove him over the edge he loved it, and you loved hearing his pretty moans but that caused him to cum into your mouth making you smile swallowing his juices and cleaning him up with your tongue once more.
listen to die for you by the weekend (for a better experience)
He slid on the condom he pulled out from his wallet and you sat on him once more with your knees on each of his sides, he placed his cock right at your entrance “take your time baby” he says reassuring you giving you another kiss. You stared into his eyes as you slowly took him all in sinking until you finally touched his thighs with your ass, you both let out a breathy moan pulling each other in for a deeper kiss, both your tongues were fighting against each other until you bit down on his bottom lip slowly letting it go hearing a pop. Jake wrapped an arm around you resting it underneath your shirt, you slid up and came back down picking up a pace moaning you throw your head back “just like that” he whines as you ride him thrusting back and forth “you’re doing so good baby” jake says throwing his head back against the seat loving the noises he’s hearing in his car over the music that was currently playing. You rocked your hips taking off your top to reveal yourself “take my bra off jake” you say as his hand reaches for the clasp making your bra drop between you two, Jake couldn’t take his eyes off you, you were sure you even felt his cock slightly twitch in you “this is what you’ve been hiding from me? Fuck you’re so hot” he says putting his hand behind your head bringing you in for another heated kiss, separating from the kiss you start to pick up your pace once more feeling the heat in your stomach as he reaches to play with your breast rubbing your nipples “jake” you pant as he bites his lip hearing you moan his name once more “open your eyes” he says softly, fluttering your eyes open you look at what he’s staring at. He loved watching you take him all in you started moving your hips in circular motions making jake grunt panting, you too were getting so overstimulated you started to lose your pace. Jake noticed taking control pounding into you making you a moaning mess hitting your Gspot as you dug your nails on his shoulders, while he held you up with his arm for support, panting you try to warn jake but fail going over the edge and coming all over his cock with him joining you right after. Breathing heavily you rest on his chest while jake catches his breath leaning back on the seat, his long black hair was on his sweaty forehead covering his eyes, you face up looking at him moving the strands from his pretty face “i love you jake” you say as he flutters his eyes open picking up his head up to look at you giving you the prettiest smile “i love you baby” he replied kissing your forehead tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
“i hope nobody saw us” you say recalling you guys were parked in front of someones house on a lonely street, “i have tinted windows, i doubt they saw” Jake answers “really?” you say smirking “mmhhmm” Jake adds clueless, “round 2?” you say as a smile creeped on his face letting out a soft giggle, you kissed him “you’re on top now” you say quickly crawling to the backseat accidentally hitting the wheel making the car honk and jake giggled at you following you.

y/n feels the familiar burn behind his eyes, the tears start to roll down his cheeks, making goosebumps rise on the back of his neck at the feeling. despite his blurry vision, he can very clearly see the words on the screen of his phone.
jae-bear 🥰: 'i think we should break up.'
the young male rereads the message over and over, the shock traveling throughout his body, like waves crashing along the shore of a beach. he places his phone face-down on his bed and he stares at his socked feet, not really focusing on one particular thing.
y/n thinks back on his relationship with jaeyun. the two were both just 13, they had no idea what it took to be in a functioning relationship. the two would meet up every morning before classes began, then they would walk to their classes, holding hands. they would exchange short pecks on the cheek whenever they would part ways, and they would enjoy their lunch break together.
it was always y/n and jaeyun. never one without the other.
Tumblr media
y/n sighs as he steps into the unfamiliar building, his hand coming up to lightly scratch his chin. his eyes dart around in all directions, hoping to see a map on the wall. seeing none, he decides to just walk in a random direction in hopes of finding either a map of the school, or the main office.
as y/n walks, his eyes glued to his phone, he bumps into a wall. well, he thinks it's a wall, but then he remembers that walls don't make human-like exclamations of shock.
y/n's phone flies out of his hand as his body stumbles backward from the impact. y/n's face heats up from the embarrassment of being so distracted that he actually smashed into another person.
as his mouth opens to spout out a million apologies, his eyes land on the person he ran into. he's met with a very familiar face.
moon jaeyun. his ex-boyfriend from the 7th grade (...could he really be considered a boyfriend?).
y/n stares for a while. jaeyun still harbors the same features, but more mature, more adult. y/n thinks jaeyun looks so much like his dad.
"oh my god, y/n? is that you?" jaeyun says enthusiastically. y/n snaps out of his trance and he smiles gently. the two may have broken up forever ago, but there was no bad blood left behind.
"yeah, it's me. how have you been, jae?" y/n asks, still using the nickname he gave jaeyun when they first met. y/n almost apologizes for using it, feeling like it's too soon.
jaeyun doesn't seem bothered by it because he keeps smiling and even picks up y/n's phone and the tote bag he dropped during the collision.
"i've been pretty good! life's not terrible, you know?" jaeyun says, talking to the other male as if no time had passed in between them. "i had no idea you were coming back this year, but i'm really glad you did! we have to catch up!"
y/n realizes that the air feels light, like it used to when he would hang out with jaeyun outside of school, when they were alone at each other's houses, laughing and making jokes.
"yeah, i was doing online classes at first, but i realized that i desperately needed human interaction. so here i am," y/n explains, taking his items from jaeyun. their hands touch and it seems as if the two of them felt the same tingling feeling on their skin.
they look up at each other with wide eyes and warm cheeks. they both break out into cheesy smiles and soft laughter.
"hey, let's get lunch together. you're still obsessed with pastries, right?" jaeyun breaks the stare-down, his hands moving to take out his phone.
"i was not obsessed with pastries back then! i just really liked them!" y/n defends himself, his arms crossing over his chest as he shakes his head.
jaeyun rolls his eyes playfully before speaking. he knows y/n hasn't changed much since middle school, at least personality wise.
"whatever, you always begged to go to our boba spot because you wanted their cherry tarts! you ordered it every single time!" jaeyun says with a laugh, pointing an accusatory finger at his old friend.
y/n's eyebrows raise. had jaeyun really remembered his favorite treat from the boba place they frequented?
"i can't believe you remember that. before you go," y/n starts, taking jaeyun's phone from his hand and opening the male's contact list, his finger scrolling until he spots his name.
"my number hasn't changed. see you at lunch, jae-bear."

All Mine - Jung Wooyoung
Tumblr media
3k words, smut - fluff
Summary: Wooyoung had been your best friend for the past few years, but when he finally asked you out on a date, one thing led to another, and soon you were head over heels for him.
Warnings: dom!wooyoung, virgin!reader, unprotected sex, marking, friends to lovers, first time, tooth-rotting fluff at the beginning. lmk if there is more.
First dates are always scary. What do you wear? What kind of perfume do you put on? Makeup impressive or natural? There was no ending to the countless thoughts swirling in your head as you closed down the small café you worked at.
You had a date tonight. Not just some date, but a date with your best friend Jung Wooyoung. You’ve known him for years, and he’s been close to you since you first met him in 7th grade. He was with you through your best and worst moments, growing up together and sharing the same anxiety over what the future might bring. Then, you enrolled in the same college, spending almost all of your time together.
Right now, the junior year had started, and Wooyoung finally asked you out on a date two days prior. It had been inevitable, both of you pining on one another for a longer time than you would like to admit.
When you got home to get ready, you immediately took a shower before standing in front of your closet, still only in a towel as you pondered over what to wear. He was taking you to a fair that opened not too long ago, and the weather outside was debatable. It was the end of October, and it could go from pretty okay to a windy mess in just a minute. So you just decided on a striped knit sweater with white jeans. Your make-up was a no-make-up look, and you topped it off with some lip tint. You blow-dried your hair before putting on the necklace he bought you for your 19th birthday.
Nervousness took over as you heard your doorbell ring, indicating Wooyoung was here to pick you up. So you quickly grabbed your bag and phone and made your way downstairs. He was leaning against the wall as you walked out.
‘’Hey,’’ He said, a smile on his face as he pulled you in for a hug. ‘’Ready to go?’’
‘’Yes,’’ He grabbed your hand, interlocking his fingers with yours as you started walking towards the fair while you talked about both of your days. It was not awkward at all, Wooyoung keeping you close to him as he pulled you into the conversation.
Wooyoung’s social ability is something you always admired about him. He was ready to start a conversation with anyone whenever he wanted to. Even if he didn’t know them, he could talk as if he knew that person for weeks. You in contrast, always found it hard to talk to someone you never met before. You’d always avoid conversating with people at all until Wooyoung started helping you. Taking you out of your house more, showing you that some people could energize you rather than drain you. You just had to know who did and who didn’t, and he simply helped you with that.
‘’What’s going on in that head of yours?’’ He asked as both of you entered the fair.
‘’Nothing special’’ You smiled, before noticing all the pretty lights of the rides. There was a giant Ferris wheel in the middle, but Wooyoung could only look at you, the lights reflecting in your pretty eyes. His eyes then fell to your neckline, the pendant hanging just above your sweater as he smiled. Your squeak interrupted his thoughts as you walked toward the giant plushies.
‘’Look, I’ll win you a plushie’’ He said, pulling your hand towards the machine.
‘’My father had taught me how these things work, and you could say I mastered the technique of grabbing the plushie’’
‘’Woo, I think this satire is based on luck’’ You giggled at his focused face before he pressed the red button, and somehow, the grab-thing had a firm grip on the plushie, leading it right into the hole.
‘’Bingo!’’ He yelled. ‘’I deserve a kiss for this’’ You were laughing as he handed you the baby blue penguin, before leaning in and kissing him on the cheek.
The rest of the night went smoothly. Being with Wooyoung was just easy and comforting, but being with him like this was even better. You were able to hold onto him, kiss his cheek and talk about all kinds of dates you would like to go on. Somehow you ended up in the Ferris wheel as both of you talked about your dream honeymoon.
‘’Paris, or London, or maybe Barcelona’’ You said, leaning against his chest as you stared at the beautiful city in front of you. It was already 11 p.m, and the fair was closing soon.
‘’All of them, then take a lot of pictures, stay out late and make a lot of love’’ You giggled at that, Wooyoung tightening his arm around you as you played with his hand. ‘’What? You don’t want that?’’
‘’I’d love that’’ You said, voice barely above a whisper as you wondered how all of this happened so suddenly. It felt so real and so perfect. You only now realize that the deep feelings for Wooyoung were always there, they were just suppressed because you didn’t want to lose him as a best friend.
‘’I’m glad we did this, Woo’’
‘’Me too’’ He lifted your chin as he looked deep into your eyes with an adoring smile on his face.
Your eyes went to his lips, as he held contact with yours. You leaned in slowly, pecking him on his lips so soft he almost didn’t feel it. So he pulled you back in, hand falling to your waist to press you more into him. His lips worked against you skillfully, and you felt yourself melt in his grip before parting as he smiled at you.
‘’Let me take you home’’ He whispered to which you nodded sheepishly. You got out of the ride with him, your arm interlocked with his as the cold breeze hit your cheek, making you push yourself against him more.
‘’You cold?’’ He asked, his warm hands cupping your cheeks to warm them up a bit.
‘’A little, but I’m fine’’ You said, continuing the walk as he grabbed your hand, interlocking it with his and pulling it in his pocket to keep it warm.
-
On the second date, you got coffee with him. The third date was a movie, and you were now coming back from dinner, the fourth date. When you arrived at your place after grabbing an ice cream on the way, you invited him in. Saying goodbye was probably not going to happen tonight since he stuck to your side the entire way back.
‘’Tea?’’ You asked him once you entered the apartment. He followed you into the kitchen, settling on one of the bar stools in front of the kitchen island.
‘’Water is fine’’ He said, pulling out one of the books that were laying on the island. You grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge before handing it to him. ‘’How many times have you read this one already?’’ He chuckled, looking at Pride and Prejudice, one of your favorite books.
‘’About 20 times, maybe more’’ You replied while preparing a tea for yourself.
‘’Can you read a bit for me?’’ You were taken aback by his question because he always told you he wasn’t interested in reading books.
‘’Sure’’ He handed you the book. You flipped through the pages, settling on one of the passages you liked reading the most.
“From the very beginning—from the first moment, I may almost say—of my acquaintance with you, your manners, impressing me with the fullest belief of your arrogance, your conceit, and your selfish disdain of the feelings of others,’’ You started, feeling Wooyoung walk up behind you as he pushed your hair back, leaving your neck bare. His hand then started trailing up your arm, and you felt his breathing get closer to your ear.
‘’Go on, keep on reading, baby’’ He lowly said, making goosebumps rise on your skin as your eyes focused back on the book.
‘’—Were such as to form the groundwork of the disapprobation on which succeeding events have built so immovable a dislike,’’ You breathed out as his lips attached to your neck, placing soft kisses and trailing his way up behind your ear. ‘’and I had not known you a month before I felt that you were the last man in the world on whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry.”
You turned your head to look at him, only to find his eyes looking at you with pure lust in them as he inched his head closer to yours. ‘’Wooyoung’’ You whispered without thinking before he closed the distance a bit more.
‘’You look so beautiful, I can’t keep my hands off you’’ He replied, barely above a whisper. His low tone made adrenaline rush through you as his lips grazed yours.
‘’Please’’
‘’Please what, princess?’’
‘’Please touch me’’ You finished, just before his lips crashed on yours, pushing you against the counter as his hands gripped your wrist to pin them down next to you. You released a small moan in his mouth as he pressed his front against you. He pulled you up by your legs, dropping you down on the counter as the difference in height made it even better. Your hands were in his hair while his were massaging your thighs.
There was no doubt in your mind, the only thought you could form was the feeling of his lips against yours and how much you loved it. You tasted the mango ice cream on his tongue before parting away while both of you breathed heavily.
‘’Do you want me to go further?’’ He asked, his hand cupping your cheek to check on you.
‘’I’m sure’’
Wooyoung knew you weren’t exactly experienced, so going all the way with him felt like a big step. However, you felt completely right about this, not wanting to do it with anybody else than him, because he was the person you trusted the most.
‘’We could take things slow if you’re not fully comfortable’’ He said, kissing your cheek ‘’I don’t mind waiting for you’’
‘’Woo, I want to do this with you, please’’ You said, pulling him closer to you. In response, he took you in his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist as you giggled because of the sudden action.
As he walked you to your room, you kissed his neck softly, careful to not leave any obvious marks.
‘’You can leave hickeys, it’s hot’’ He said as if he read your mind, so you did, creating purple and red marks on the underside of his throat as his breathing intensified.
He sat down on the bed, you on top of him, before taking off his sweater, revealing his abs for you to see. You trailed your fingers over his stomach as he tensed up under your touch, grabbing your waist to pull you closer as you felt his dick poking your inner thigh. Your need took over, grinding down on him to relieve the pressure in your lower belly. He kissed you again, moaning into your mouth as he bucked his hips up against you.
‘’Lay down for me’’ He ordered, placing you back on the bed as he hovered over you. ‘’Can I take this off?’’ He tugged on the zipper of your dress, to which you nodded before he started to undo it, taking the loose black dress off completely and leaving you in your underwear. You silently thanked yourself for putting on the black lace lingerie set as his eyes devoured your body.
‘’God’’ He murmured, his hands tracing the outline of your waist to your hips, pulling them towards him. His hand stroked your inner thigh before going up and up, brushing your panties as you let out a desperate sigh. Your breathing was labored, the whole thing exciting you just as much as it scared you. To have someone like Wooyoung touch you like this felt surreal. His fingers then went to your belly, going just under the edge of your panties.
‘’Woo, please touch me’’
‘’I am touching you, sweetheart, you need to be more specific’’
‘’I need your fingers in me’’ You groaned out, the need for relief getting too much. You never thought you would be talking like this, but pleasure sure does a lot with you.
He complied, taking off your panties and revealing you to him. He licked his lips in contentment as his finger started rubbing your clit slowly making your breath hitch before releasing a small moan. He then leaned down and started placing kisses on your chest, leaving marks on your breasts as he played with your clit before entering a finger slowly, making you moan out loud.
His finger thrust into you, his hand picking up its pace before another finger entered, scissoring inside you to stretch you out for him.
‘’Just like that’’ He groaned, his erection straining against his pants.
‘’I need you’’ You moaned as he curled his fingers into you, and as much as you loved his fingers in you, you needed to really feel him. He pulled out his fingers before undoing his belt, you pulling him in for a deep kiss in the process.
‘’Hold on, let me grab a condom’’
‘’I’m on birth control’’ You replied, making him nod approvingly. ‘’That’s my girl’’ He said, and you couldn’t help but smile at the words.
He pulled off his pants, revealing his Calvin’s with the evident bulge, making your eyes widen because you didn’t expect him to be this big.
‘’Like what you see?’’ He chuckled, making you avert your eyes somewhere else immediately ‘’It’s okay, you can always watch me, baby’’ He grabbed your chin, making you look at him before undoing your bra with his other hand. You pulled off the straps, throwing the bra somewhere in the room as he pulled your chest against him, feeling his hard chest against yours as he kissed you feverishly. ‘’All mine’’ He moaned against your lips before taking off his boxers.
You were so turned on that he could use your juices as lube, jerking off with his hand before lining his dick up with your entrance, making you gasp. You closed your eyes, Wooyoung’s hand interlocking with yours as he held your hand next to your head.
‘’Try to stay relaxed, it’ll hurt less’’ He reassured, kissing the side of your head before slowly starting to enter you ‘’Tell me if you want to stop’’ You opened your eyes to be met with his face covered in nothing but pleasure. He released a moan, squeezing your hand before pressing in a bit more to get you used to the feeling.
You felt him enter you more and more until you felt his pelvic bone against your clit. You felt him, everywhere. You tried to unclench, feeling the pleasure rip through you as it hurt only a bit. You squeezed his hand, your other hand grabbing the back of his head before releasing a deep breath.
‘’You can move, I think I’m okay’’ You said, feeling his hips retract slowly before pushing in again. After every thrust, the pain slowly subsided and the only thing you could think of was Wooyoung.
‘’Good girl’’ He whispered in your ear, his voice raspy and raw as he started moving at the right pace, his hand under your hip to keep you steady.
‘’Wooyoung, ah-’’
‘’How are you feeling?’’ He checked up on you, holding eye contact as his movements slowed down a bit.
‘’Good, fuck, so good’’ You moaned, throwing your head back as the pleasure became too much, your legs feeling numb.
‘’I think I’m close’’ You said after, hips angling up, making him brush your g-spot continuously as you writhed underneath him.
‘’Yeah, gonna cum on my dick? Claim me as yours as you clench around me?’’ He grunted out, making you tighten around him ‘’You like when I talk dirty to you huh?’’ He said, releasing a raspy chuckle as he moved deeper and faster into you, your orgasm coming closer and closer as you moaned his name over and over again.
‘’Coming– Ah’’ You moaned, eyes closing as you released a string of moans, pinching your eyebrows together as your mouth formed an ‘o’. Your legs began shaking soon after, the aftershocks of the orgasm making Wooyoung tumble over the edge as he spilled his seeds in you while kissing you as he groaned loudly.
He rode out both of your highs before falling down next to you. His hand was on your belly as he kissed your neck slowly. ‘’You did so well for me’’ You smiled at his words, too tired to open your eyes.
You felt him getting up, before feeling a wet cloth against your entrance as you flinched, Wooyoung’s hand falling on your thigh to calm you down. He cleaned you up before his hand wrapped around your waist.
‘’You need to pee’’ He said, helping you get up before he walked you to the bathroom. After doing your business, he handed you one of the shirts he kept in your closet before dropping you down on the bed next to him. Your head leaned against his chest, his hand on your hair, stroking it softly before placing a kiss on the top of your head.
‘’You okay?’’ He asked once again, making your heart flutter.
‘’Yes, Woo, thank you’’ You whispered, before slowly falling asleep with his arms around you.

Chapter 1:The world was on fire
“Love me or hate me, Both are in my favor. If you love me, I’ll always be in your heart. If you hate me, I’ll always be in your mind.”
The quote was etched into the front of your red hardcover notebook, with gold details covering the edges of the front. The black ink was oddly neat despite how deep you had to indent the words over and over on the cover. Miguel has noticed that you would always write a beautifully tragic quote on the front of all your English notebooks every year.
Last year, the quote was, “Love is blind, and lovers cannot see.”
For sophomore year, “She could have been a poet or she could have been a fool.”
And for freshman year it was, “‘I miss her.’ ‘You’re dead.’ ‘Even in death, I mourn her.’”
The first time Miguel saw it was when you both were in the 7th grade, being paired up to write a report about some random novel that Miguel couldn’t remember the name of. You had pulled out your notebook, that year it was a dark forest green, with the quote being, “But just because I’m not going to wish for it doesn't mean the moth can ignore the flame. It’s in the moth's blood.”
Miguel’s dark maroon eyes rolled to the back of his head, it was almost pretentious he thought, a way to show off how “artsy” you are. He allowed a scoff to escape his plump lips, you simply ignored him as you began to flip through your notes.
You were much more into history, the arts and most of all, Literature, while Miguel was more into science and math. Miguel didn’t understand why you loved it so much, he didn’t think your favorite subjects were nearly as important as his. Who cares what some dead poet wrote a thousand years ago, when he could be the next to make a big scientific discovery? Like time travel or curing cancer. Sure, Miguel still did the work in english and history, and for someone who didn't care for it, he would always do so well, and that drove you up the wall, but Miguel could say the same about you with math and science. Miguel would always tune you out when you would ramble on about some new book you were reading to your friends, or would ignore the way your eyebrow would furrow together and your teeth would bite down on your lips when you’d get to a particularly good spot in your novel, stopping every once and a while to annotate, would scoff at the the way your eyes would stare at piece of art with such fascination and wonder when the class would go to a field trip to an art museum, groan at how’d you always talk about the beauty of old gothic architecture, talking about how the beauty of the buildings was almost tragic.
The key word, would.
As you two grew older, and your competitiveness in your grades became more intense, Miguel couldn’t help but start to wonder what goes through that pretty little head of yours. He wanted to see how the deep corners of your mind worked. What made your brain tick, maybe if he saw the world through your perspective, he would understand you more.
Your manicured hand grabbed your notebook by the bloody red spine, gently gripping it before placing it into your bag, and zipping it up. Slinging it over your shoulder as you turn to talk to your friend who sat next to you, before you both made your way out of the AP English classroom.
You and Miguel had been attending the same classes since you transferred in the 6th grade, both of you attend one of Nueva York’s most prestigious and high-end boarding schools. At first, Miguel didn’t pay you any mind, figured you were just another spoiled brat with daddy’s money, and a trust fund big enough to last you until you find some poor unsuspecting fool to ask for your hand and make you into a trophy wife, like most of the girls who attend the school. But it wasn’t until you had beat his score later that year on the mid-year school wide testing did you get his attention. He could remember it like it was yesterday, he was sitting in class with a near perfect score of 97% written on top of his test answer sheet, a self-satisfied smirk on his face as he slid the paper over to his left where Peter Parker had sat.
“I swear man, you’re like, a genius.” Peter grumbled to Miguel as he glanced at his friend’s paper, before at his own which had 78% written at the top. Peter’s hand went up to pat Miguel on the back, but before Miguel could reply, just bearly in earshot, he had heard an unfamiliar voice speak.
“Yeah I got a 99, I wasn’t expecting…” Miguel didn’t catch the rest, but the first part was enough for his whole body to feel hot all over, and make his stomach twist in discomfort. He felt like he was about to go into a state of shock, or rather he was already entering one. He’s never had someone top before, if felt like he was dreaming, well, maybe having a nightmare was a better way to describe it. He couldn’t remember how long he had sat at his desk afterwards, in a weird state of disassociation until Peter had pulled him back to reality. He swore to himself, after that moment he’d never let you top him again.
But that was a hard promise to keep. Because whether he'd like to admit it or not, you were good, always keeping him on his toes. You were almost like a breath of fresh air for him, albeit a painful one, like the first shallow breath after almost drowning. Before you , Miguel was growing content, growing bored, no other student was anywhere close to his GPA, even the second best at the time, he felt simply untouchable, but then you came along, and you changed everything for him.
At first, he saw you more as a pest, an annoying little fly that kept buzzing around no matter how many times he had tried to swat you away. Upon your first time formally meeting with Miguel, you were polite and civil, the kindest smile on your face as you stuck your hand out for him to shake as you introduced yourself to him. Miguel just glanced at your hand with a sour, unamused expression on his face, before his eyes wandered back up to your face and he just let out a noise that was a mix between a grunt and a scoff before turning and walking away, leaving you confused and a little bit hurt from his unfriendly and quite frankly rude actions, you decided to just brush it off, maybe he was having a bad day and wasn’t in a good mood. So a few days later you tried to approached him again in hopes for a better interaction, only for those hopes to get squashed when he basically told you to fuck off, rolling his eyes and ignoring your presence once again as he walked past you, “accidentally” shouldering you in the process. You decided to stop trying to be nice to him after that.
For about the first year since you transferred, you and Miguel simply pretended the other didn’t exist, neither would approach or interact with the other unless absolutely necessary, the only constant reminders of each other's presence was when one would beat the other during tests, report cards, etc. Eventually the plain out ignoring shifted to fleeting glares and glances, eye rolls and snarky remarks muttered under both of your breaths, both of yours already rocky relationship with each other becoming more and more intense and open as you both got older, neither finding the energy to even attempt to tolerate the others presence anymore. So now you and him were stuck in this repetitive circle with each other, but neither of you were doing anything to stop it.
“I’ve already told you Gabe, I’m not going to give you my notes from last year. Read the book like everyone else.” Miguel sighed, stuffing his free hand in his pocket, his other hand holding onto his backpack strap, walking to the housing building across the campus of Nueva York’s Preparatory Academy, where he and his younger brother shared a room.
“But Miggy!” Gabriel whined, his lips coming out in a pout, and Miguel’s nose scrunched in annoyance at both the nickname and the high-pitch tone of his brother's whine. “What’s the point of me being brothers with one of the top students at this school if I can’t steal your notes! Besides, I've tried and I just can’t get into it. Who would have thought that Frankenstein would be such a boring book, and don’t get me started on how the paragraphs are set up!”
“And that’s my problem because?” Miguel’s eyebrow quirked up, sending Gabriel an unamused look.
“Look Miguel, you might not get it from my point of view, but it’s very difficult for me, being your brother. From an academic standpoint I mean. The teachers expect me to have the same intelligence as you. I'm not stupid, don’t get me wrong, I’m just not on the same playing field as you. Also, I don’t like reading.” Gabriel shrugged.
“And what makes you think that I do?” Miguel retorted with an eyeroll, opening the glass doors to the housing building for his brother before stepping in himself and shutting the door behind him.
“Well didn't you get an A+ on your report about the book last year?”
“No. I got an A-.” Miguel grumbled, and after a moment, Gabriel’s expression perked up a bit, as if a light bulb had gone off in his head.
“Oh riiight, that one girl got an A+, what was her name again?” Gabriel said in an almost teasing tone, before throwing out various names at Miguel that were similar to yours, obvious bait to see if his brother would bite, and he did.
“It’s (Y/N).” Miguel corrected with a hash glare.
“Oh, right, right.” Gabriel’s lips went up in a slight smirk, his hands going into his pockets to fish out the keys to their shared dorm room. “Maybe I can ask her to help me, I mean she’s a bookworm, right?”
Miguel didn’t answer the question, not completely sure if it was rhetorical or not, choosing to stay silent as they finally stopped in front of their room.
“I could ask for her notes, maybe take her out for some coffee as a thank you.” Miguel’s face scrunched with annoyance at the implication, his brother knew how much you two disliked each other, and a more sound part of his mind was telling himself that his little brother was just pulling at his leg, but that didn’t stop him from the draggers he glared at Gabriel.
“Don’t even think about it. Hasta la mira mal a esa niña, y estás muerto. ¿Entiendes?” Miguel hissed, his voice dropping an octave with the threat. (If you even look at that girl wrong, you’re dead. Got it?”)
Despite his older brother’s threats, Gabriel’s smirk only turned into a wide grin, before he put his hands up as I sigh of surrender, his keys dangling with the motion before he unlocked the door, and walked into the room, Miguel following closing the door behind him.
“I don't understand anything about this, (Y/N).” Your friend, Mary Jane, or MJ for short, groaned as you both sat down in one of the school's many libraries, school supplies sprawled on top of the mahogany desk. It was fairly empty, today, but you both took space in one of the empty study rooms to keep from making too much of a disruption from anyone else who might go in, the repeated sound of rapid tapping of MJ’s mechanical pencil hitting the desk as you catch her biting her bottom lip in frustration.
“I know.” You giggled with a small smile, putting your hand on her forearm in an attempt to comfort her. You both have been at it for about 3 hours now, your English teacher had assigned everyone to write a 2,000 word essay about the book being read in class Romeo and Juliet. You’ve already read and watched the play a million times so you knew the back of your hand.
“Like I understand that, they fall and love and die and stuff, but all the jokes and the symbolism and stuff-“
“That’s why I’m here, MJ.” You grinned at your friend, and she just scoffed at you with a friendly smile, a smile you returned, before getting up from your seat with a small stretch. “I’ll be right back, I'm going to go stretch my legs.” You told her, which only got you a hum in response, before you slipped out of the small room. No matter how much time you’ve spent in this specific library, (it’s your favorite one) you’ll never get tired of the earth and wood-like tones that filled your senses whenever you would enter in the building, the four old walls always filled you with such warmth, they were like a second home for you. You let out a deep content exhale as your black Mary Jane heels tapping quietly against the old wooden tiles of the library floor. Mindlessly wandering with no real destination in mind, but making sure you don’t stray too far from the study room, it wasn’t difficult to lose your sense of direction in the make-shift corridors made from old bookshelves. You turn a corner without thinking, a hand goes up , gently brushing the spines of the books as you continue walking. What genre section were you in?
Your steps came to a halt, taking a step closer to the shelf as you grabbed the book your hand was resting on. Your lips came up in a soft small smile as you read the title of the book in your hands.
The phantom of the opera.
Oh how you loved the story, you’ve watched both the movie renditions and the stage version countless times, but you’ve read the novel more than you’ve watched all three combined, but your copy sadly got ruined when you dropped it in a puddle of water while on a walk, and haven’t had the time to get a new copy. Was it bad that if you were in Christine’s shoes, you would have picked Erik over Raoul?
Your fingertips opened the door, flipping the pages until you landed on the page you were looking for.
Hardly breathing, he went up to the dressing-room and, with his ear to the door to catch her reply, prepared to knock. But his hand dropped. He had heard a man's voice in the dressing-room, saying, in a curiously masterful tone:
"Christine, you must love me!"
And Christine's voice, infinitely sad and trembling, as though accompanied by tears, replied:
"How can you talk like that? When I sing only for you!"
Raoul leaned against the panel to ease his pain.
His heart, which had seemed gone-
“Why am I not surprised I’d find you here?” The sudden words interrupted your reading. You didn’t need to lift your eyes to know the source of the voice, the slight accent and the deadpan tone gave it away.
“Hello to you too, O’Hara.” You replied, your eyes not lifting, your hand flipping to the next page despite no longer reading the words on the pages anymore, you weren’t going to give Miguel the satisfaction of knowing he had your attention. The act didn’t last very long though when his finger went up to lift the book up to read the cover, your gaze going up to finally look up at him, a bored expression on your face, a tsk leaving his mouth when he realized what you were reading.
“What?” You question him, wanting to know what that reaction meant, you closed the book and put it back on the shelf.
“Nothing.”
“Tell me.”
His lips come up to a smug smirk.
“That you find that shit romantic.” He stated like he knew it was a fact, and you’d rather die than admit to him that you did, in fact, find it romantic. “Don’t act like you don’t, I can read you like a book. No pun intended.”
Your face came to a scowl, instead of entertaining him with a response, you crossed your arms and slightly leaned against the bookshelf behind you.
“What are you even doing here Miguel? You don’t even like reading.” He didn’t entertain your question with a response either, rather he just shrugged, and took a step closer, his hand going up to rest against the self, his hand was right next to your head.
“Do me a favor?” He asked, but his tone came out more like it was a suggestion rather than a request.
“Why would I do that?” You scoffed.
“Don’t make me beg, muñeca.” His tone dropped an octave. Despite the pet name, his voice was filled with nothing but coldness. (Doll)
“Don’t give me ideas.” You teased. Your lips twitched up slightly.
“If my brother comes to you and asks to take you out, go ahead and say no.” That certainly wasn’t what you were expecting him to say, but you slowly nodded your head regardless, deciding to not ask what his brother said to him that would make him come up to you about that. His hand came back down to his side as he took a step back “Good. How’s the essay coming?”
The sudden topic change you off guard a bit, but you quickly recovered, since it was something you’d both been more used to talking about, your studies.
“I’m almost done, I’ve mostly been just helping MJ with hers.” You explained, as you stood up straight again. “You?”
“Same, if it weren’t for Peter I probably would already be finished with it.”
“Don’t stress about it too much, O’Hara.”
“Oh, why not?”
You smiled.
“Because I'm gonna get a better grade on my paper anyways.”
