“I don’t understand why people usually sh*t on the 2008 US team with the exception of Chellsie when she has the ugliest gymnastics of that team. Alicia is one of the cleanest gymnasts ever, Nastia’s gymnastics was pretty gorg outside of the excessive cowboying, Shawn’s leaps were bad but her form was very clean and her beam is iconic, Bridget is pretty boring but her inbars and her piked full in were some of the best ever. Chellsie’s gymnastics on the other hand is just so ugly and isn’t aesthetically pleasing at all. I know that one of the reasons people hate on them is because they’ve been problematic in the past but Chellsie isn’t an angel either. She publicly supported Anna Li who’s being investigated by SafeSport for abuse.”
