(Western) Precure fandom once again proving they just can't behave. Hirogaru didn't even end yet and I already bump into whole twitter threads about how there should never be any more male Cures, because it "ruins the empowering message to the girls" or whatever.

Reminds me of that unfortunate situation from last year, when a young Japanese boy was happy to have a male Precure to dress up as, but Bandai didn't even think of making an official Cure Wing costume until the boy's cry went viral and people realised *gasp* young boys want to dress up as cute magical boys as well! Unbelievable!

You may not like to hear it, but there are male Precure fans out there of all ages. The adults occupying all fandom spaces don't need to be catered to, but young boys absolutely deserve to have a cute and non-hypermasculine representation as well. Adding one or two more boys to the roster is not going to erase your 70+ Precure girls already existing and if it makes at least one Japanese kid happy, you should honestly just shut up and move on.

tl;dr if you're not the target audience for something, you should not be making demands or expecting to be catered to. Precure is still mainly aimed at pre-schoolers and with Cure Wing's popularity it's safe to expect Toei will pull more male Cures in the near future. It's marketable.

I was already not looking forward to Dragon Age 4 over the lack of any news, but now I just don't care about this game in the slightest. It's a social experiment at best.

Those 50 employees did not deserve being laid off like that. And Mary Kirby among them?? When BioWare is using her character as a fucking mascot of the franchise???

You lay off a bunch of your senior team members, who have been with the franchise from the start and you expect people to still have faith in the "product"? You shake up the lives of 50 people and then rush to release a dry statement "WE'RE STILL WORKING ON DRAGON AGE 4! DON'T WORRY! IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC!"

Idk what is funnier. Saki magically getting her darker skin back with age-reversing magic or both of them now being the same pale-ass white as the Kiryuu sisters.

I know it's all just to go cheap and reuse animations (the fact, that they randomly bring Flappy and Choppy to the transformation out of an ass is also hilarious), but it looks so damn jarring. Why not just give the adult girls the same skintones they had as kids? I don't buy that stupid argument of "sporty/tomboy girls have a tan from being outside a lot", cause even characters like Mai or Karen got washed. They look sickly. Get these women some damn vitamins.

Only in Precure fandom you can find people fuming at a spinoff stage play with an all-male Cure team.

I've already seen the wildest claims about this "killing the feminism", "killing muh wlw content" or "being only aimed at straight female shippers" and all I can think of is - you people really need to relax. Go out, touch some grass, you know the drill.

I can assure you encouraging male Precure fans to embrace more feminine themes is not going to hurt your precious franchise with nearly 20 different all-female teams (+ one Wing). Even if they add more male Cures to the main line seasons in the future, it will not take away the female empowerment or whatever y'all are complaining about. Precure is still going to be a magical girl franchise aimed mainly at girls.

What's the general consensus about 4t2 conversions of cc items? There's a person, who makes amazing male hairstyles for The Sims 4 and I would kill a man to get some of them into 2, but I don't want to possibly break the person's TOU and they never replied to me if they allow conversions.

I'm just a 4t2 hairstyle hoe and my male Sims are in desperate need of more options than slick back, swept to the side and a mullet.

UPDATE #1:

PC is working again and all the images saved from my last several sessions have been restored, so I can continue posting the Uberhood at least until the end of this rotation.

I'm still working on setting up the game again and making sure everything works fine, so I will keep you updated on that.

Uberhood should resume as soon as I deal with setting up Windows and everything properly.

Seeing videos popping up on yt where people compare otona transformations to the OG ones is so funny. It's the same animation, maybe slightly enhanced for 2023 TV show. It's cute, that you give Toei the benefit of the doubt, but it's literally there for everyone to see.
