finally thought it was time that i posted a fully updated intro for sizhui now that he’s aware and that he remembers everything about his past.

this is my son, the light of my life, a whole baby aka lan sizhui!

he’s been living in washington dc for two years and the first year he basically spent being unaware of his life and has only just remembered at the beginning of this year and only remembered his past just recently.

he is a junior disciple of the lan clan and one of the most level headed of his friends, who were all pretty much prone to anger and making quick decisions without thinking them through.

he’s a lan by name, but he is a member of the wen clan by birth, his cousins are wen qing and wen ning.

he was born wen yuan.

he was a small child during everything that happened with the wen clan and all of the other clans and was one of the many of his clan who went to the burial mounds.

after everything happened and the dust settled, he was left behind in the burial mounds, hoping it would keep him safe but he just grew sick, and that was where lan wangji found him and took him to cloud recesses.

the illness caused him to forget most of his past and he lost his memories of his family, which didn’t return until years later.

he currently remembers everything, so basically everything from the burial mounds and everything from his life after that.

he grew up looking up to wangji as a father figure and often calls him dad when they’re in private and would prob call him that around people he trusts, like the other juniors, xichen, wei wuxian, wen ning and wen qing, but to other’s he just calls him huangang jun for formalities.

he’s a very chill person and will help out anyone that he can, but will also call u out on ur bullshit lmao. but basically he’s a baby and i love him

here in dc

while unaware, he believed that he was from new york and that his parents had paid for his university and his housing so he could study politics.

he’s now aware & remembers everything about his life back home, compared to when he first remembered everything and he didn’t remember anything about his past.

he’s now reunited with his family and his friends.

he’s still currently doing his classes and working part time, like he was before when he was unaware.

ive been offline for like.a week hiii sorry for spam liking ur parousia tag but omg its so interesting.. if you had any writing for it that youd be ok with sharing publicly id love to read whatever you have!! the idea that all the gods are aware of their reincarnation and can purposefully avoid bringing new gods into the world is rlly interesting to me like. when a lesser god is close to death/weak would they be aware that they will probably never be brought into the world again and has that ever altered their actions like if they begin to get weaker would they try to become more important or change themselves as a last chance way of being remembered/brought back + id love to know more about syr omg

its okay ur good ^_^ answers below for ur initial questions about the lesser gods, but also if you want could you send a separate ask? i could post a little excerpt about syrs childhood / how his powers manifest if you’d like ! (i’d add it here but itd be too long in addition to the god talk)

correct ! a lesser god by virtue knows that the likelihood of them existing king is very low so many of them find one place and settle down, while base gods don’t have much to worry about and can travel as they wish and die as much as they want, a lesser god has the best chance of living king by settling in one spot and aiding mortals in any way they can

gaining any kind of worship will greatly lower the chance of them dying from lesser injuries (all gods have abilities of self healing but only base gods with high amounts of worship can heal themselves almost instantaneously if they choose) so things like disease or infection would infect a lesser god less if they managed to cement themselves in a community and commit to a life of good deeds etc

so for example the lesser niche god of weaving (as in making baskets, sewing, creating clothes any activity involving weaving) would have the most support and longest life span in a city “working” as a seamstress and giving out clothing, baskets, blankets etc to the poor, and these gods don’t necessarily have to reveal themselves to be “worshipped” simply being liked by the general public (or in their minds frequently) counts as worship, having friends that go out of their way to hang out with you or bring you gifts no matter how small also counts as worship

another thing that happens with lesser gods of more negative attributes (again mentioning the god of poison) is that they’d try to have folk tales spread about them, it’s similar to how we (in the real world) believe in things like jack frost, or the boogeyman when we were younger, believing in stories like that count as an act of worship (worship doesn’t always have to be positive, just a strong belief in that thing and acknowledgement of it’s existence) so for the god of poison they may try to start rumors of them poisoning evil dooers and thieves

because of how large paxions land is, books are the primary way to spread information, everyone owns many books and most cities and towns have massive “alters” filled with free books that can be taken and left as you please, and these also double as centers for people to hang out and trade etc, books about lesser gods as “fantastical fake characters” would help them exist longer and trick mortals into worshipping them in a way

the last way these gods can make sure their existence stays constant (or as constant as it can be) is making sure their two base god (or combi + base god) parents stay in love / near each other, but this can be difficult depending on what gods you’re dealing with, and you’d basically have to be like “hey mom. check every day that i’m alive. if i’m not alive i NEED u to smash like immediately” but like i’ve said before gods only have children for serious reasons, if they don’t both think your existence matters that much / or they in deep love you’re pretty much screwed

bottom line is if you’re a very niche god you need to be doing everything in your power to either make a good impression with the people you live around, cement yourself as a character in books and folk tales, or make sure ur parents are getting busy on the daily (awkward and weird) all in all being an extra niche god would succcck if you weren’t careful and is comparable to being a mortal (which most gods already look down upon)

Izuku moved his weight from one foot to the other, shuffling his feet across the floor. He pulled on the bottom of his t-shirt and bundled the fabric up and wrapped it around his hands a couple of times before letting it unravel, only to repeat.

He took a deep, long breath of air to calm down his heart as it raced away from him inside his chest. As if his heart was running a marathon that Izuku wasn't aware of.

It's just a neighbor, he told himself when there was shuffling from behind the door. A lock chain was undone and then there was a loud click. The handle rattled and Izuku’s heart caught in his throat as he prepared himself for the worst possible reaction to being bothered by someone this late at night.

It wasn't really his fault, though, he reminded himself. Izuku hadn't planned to work late, or to be the closing shift for that matter. So how was he supposed to know that it was going to be well past dark when he finally got home? Plus that stupid traffic incident that had kept them at a standstill for almost two hours! He just wanted to go to sleep, dammit!

He expected to get yelled at. For whoever was on the other side of the door to yank it open with such force that Izuku was going to stumble backwards. Dear God, please don't have a wind quirk! He did not have the funds to pay for the hospital bill that could come with falling over the second story railing.

Whatever he was expecting, this was not it.

"Yes?" none other than Todoroki Shouto said, a red eyebrow cocked up under overgrown bangs.

The door was obscuring a lot, but the pro hero was leaning against the door with his long hair hanging loose around his shoulders. It glued to his skin as long droplets of water trailed down his bare chest. Izuku couldn't see his lower half, but he did see the hint of a fluffy towel stick out from behind the door.

Izuku froze on the spot, mouth opening and closing in complete shock. For multiple, very legit reason, mind you.

First of all, his neighbor—whom he had yet to meet thanks to having just finished moving in—was none other than the rising young hotshot Todoroki Shouto, son of the fabled number one hero Endeavor and formerly one of U.A's top students. Someone Izuku had admired since he'd seen him fight and win against Kacchan in the Sport's Festival.

Second, there was no secret that Izuku may or may not have had a sort of, maybe, total crush on the young hero who had also been part of his bisexual awakening.

Third! And this one was the most important of them all. It looked like Todoroki had just gotten out of the shower and Izuku wasn't sure if he wanted to run, scream or faint.

Todoroki Shouto sighed, shoulders rising and falling. He looked over his shoulder at what was probably a clock before he turned back to Izuku. "I'm tired. What is it?"

"Yes, I'm sorry! I'm—you're and—that's because... Hi, you're not wearing clothes!" Izuku blurted out after a massive blunder of words that left him steaming with what was definitely a blush brighter than the pro hero's hair.

"I know," Todoroki replied simply, not seeming all that bothered by the fact. "I just got out of the shower. Did you want something?"

"Right, yes, I did want something... Uhm, it's in you and I need to distress so..." Izuku was sure he sounded drunk with the lack of coordination between his brain and mind. Then he slapped both of his cheeks loudly till they stung and practically screamed, "I think my roombas in your room and I don't know how it got there! But it's distressed and I really need to get to it so could I maybe come inside and get it—I am so sorry to bother you this late?!"

He squeezed his eyes tightly and raised his shoulders to his ears as he prepared to get yelled at. But when nothing happened he dared to open one eye and look up at the pro hero.

The mismatched eyebrows were raised above his eyes and despite how tired he seemed, he was surprisingly patient. When their eyes met, Todoroki pointed behind himself and asked, "You mean round thing with the All Might cover?"

Izuku had never blushed so hard in his life as he did that moment as he nodded in confirmation.

"It's in my living room," Shouto said, pushing the door open and walking away into the house. When Izuku didn't follow him, he turned around and waved him inside.

He couldn't believe it was happening, but had Todoroki Shouto just invited him into his house while dressed in nothing but a towel? Was he dead? He must be dead.

Izuku stumbled over his feet as he got inside and awkwardly shut the door. He took his shoes off and followed Shouto into the living room. On the coffee table stood his roomba, naked and bare with white scratches across the top.

Izuku let out a loud shriek. He bolted over to it and took it in his arms. "What happened to you?! Where is your cover? Are those scratches? Oh, who did this to you, you poor thing?"

"My cat attacked it on your balcony."

Izuku was brought back to reality when he turned to look at the now smirking hero who was looking him over, very aware that he was hugging a robot to his chest like one did an injured child.

"Uhm... I mean, I was just..." Izuku started, not letting go of the roomba.

"I left the cover with my sister. She promised to fix it. I was going to give it back," Todoroki Shouto said, not sounding in the least abolished or disturbed by Izuku's odd affection for his roomba. "I can write you a check for the damage made to it."

He walked to the kitchen and came back with a small checkbook and a pen. He was writing something out on the paper as he said, "Who should I make it out for?"

"Midoriya Izuku, and you can pay for dinner instead," Izuku said without realizing he was saying it aloud.

At the look Todoroki Shouto gave him, Izuku slapped a hand over his mouth and was about ready to cry. But then Todoroki closed the book with a gentle smack and nodded.

"Are you free this Saturday?" he asked and Izuku found himself nodding like an idiot, unable to form words. "You live next door, right? I'll pick you up at seven?"

When Izuku got back to his own apartment, he had his roomba in his arms and a phone number to one of Japan's most desired Bachelors in his pocket as well as a date on Saturday.

01. BASICS !

milo is seventeen, he was born in brooklyn, nyc and lived there up until he moved to boston to attend icarus ! he’s a fourth yr

both his parents are mutants -- his mother has the ability of light manipulation and his father telekinesis. milo was born with neither of his parents’ mutant genes.

his parents are very weary of humans and also haven’t quite accepted the fact that milo doesn’t have any mutant abilities -- they’re still waiting for the day that it’s discovered -- hence the reason why they enrolled him @ icarus. ( also, his mom is an icarus alumnus )

milo thinks that’s a steaming pile of bullshit. although, he didn’t object to being sent to icarus bc 1. prestige / it’s a great school in gen and 2. he thinks its super progressive that icarus is integrating humans into their school

he wants to major in poli sci in college to do something within the realm of law / public policy. milo very much believes the mutant and human communities can absolve their issues diplomatically, and he wants to pursue a career helping to do just that !

02. PERSONALITY !

he loves being right and is a little bit of a self-righteous asshole oops

loyal to a fault, passionate abt his opinions, a little hot-headed but he’s aware of it so curbs it by trying to be more pragmatic

loves history !! and writing ! ( he’s a goddamn nerd and rlly enjoys most of the essays he’s assigned in school ) and ofc politics !

tends to wrap a lot of insecurities / gushy feelings under layers n layers of sarcasm

03. EXTRA BITS !

never really grew out of his middle school emo boi phase -- the only difference now is that he’s less hot topic, more urban outfitters

finally thought it was time that i posted a fully updated intro for sizhui now that he’s aware and that he remembers everything about his past.

this is my son, the light of my life, a whole baby aka lan sizhui!

he is a junior disciple of the lan clan and one of the most level headed of his friends, who were all pretty much prone to anger and making quick decisions without thinking them through.

he’s a lan by name, but he is a member of the wen clan by birth, his cousins are wen qing and wen ning.

he was born wen yuan.

he was a small child during everything that happened with the wen clan and all of the other clans and was one of the many of his clan who went to the burial mounds.

the illness caused him to forget most of his past and he lost his memories of his family, which didn’t return until years later.

he currently remembers everything, so basically everything from the burial mounds and everything from his life after that.

he’s a very chill person and will help out anyone that he can, but will also call u out on ur bullshit lmao. but basically he’s a baby and i love him

here in dc

while unaware, he believed that he was from new york and that his parents had paid for his university and his housing so he could study politics.

he’s now aware & remembers everything about his life back home, compared to when he first remembered everything and he didn’t remember anything about his past.

he’s now reunited with his family and his friends.

he’s still currently doing his classes and working part time, like he was before when he was unaware.
