the biggest problem affecting fandom today is people forgetting that ships dont need to be canon for you to ship them and if you are spending most of your time trying to prove that your ship is in fact, going to be canon or that it is the superior ship instead of just enjoying and/or making content, i think you need to take a step back and evaluate why you are in fandom in the first place
