i can’t find the art piece/title. help.
here’s a fb post i made earlier :
“yeah there might be a lot of problems in my life sometimes. but there comes a time where i realize everything i need is right here in front of me. it sounds so stupid but idc it’s the fact i’m still here and i’m breathing and feeling as a person. it’s hard sometimes to remind myself of that and be grateful but once i do, the negativity fades away. i’m truthfully content.”

What I’m thankful for...
A bit late, I know, but I’m feeling much better today and wanted to post some positivity with all the craziness going on in the world right now.
I’m grateful for:
Being alive.
My mother - without her I don’t know what I’d do right now.
My job and my coworkers.
My friends.
My readers and followers on this crazy Inspector Gadget obsession of mine.^^
All of the new people I’ve met on Tumblr.
Being able to have a cup of coffee in the morning.
My mom’s cats, who despite being mostly people-hating have decided to make camp in my bedroom while I recover from surgery.^^

I'm exhausted. I'm fatigued. Our AC went out yesterday, and where I live, that's not something you can mess around with, but it was a complete fight with 3 companies to get it taken care of. I was on the phone so much yesterday. Then I had a client try to back out on their commitment, a late evening trip to Home Depot, and spent the night at my MIL. Today, we finally got the air fixed, and my sister, nephews, and a friend came over this morning. I worked on teaching my older nephew how to play DnD. Yay!
I baked bread so we can make sandwiches this weekend. Some Saturday chores will have to be done next week. If I don't stop now, I'll never make it tomorrow to church.
These two days have taken a lot of self-control. I keep repeating to myself, "You can do this. You're a homemaker. You can flex your home around this problem. You're a homemaker."
Well, we got it done, my hubby finished the flower bed, so now I get to play. I'm learning more about compost, and my fig tree is producing!

It's Canadian Thanksgiving! 🎃 Our neighbours in the US celebrate Thanksgiving in November, but we have always done so in October. We celebrate for different reasons. Ours is to mark the end of the harvest season, and that's why our date has always been different from the US.
Anyways - thankful for all the delicious food I have already have eaten and will eat this weekend, but for all the pals I have made in our little fandom on here. You folks are the best part of my day, always ❤️

Trying a new thing in my bullet journal:
Seasonal pages instead of monthly pages 🍂☺️.
I hope it will make me more likely to fill in my bujo (since I only have to do the whole calendar & to do's thing 4x a year instead of once a month) and I think it will fit my mood better also.
I unconsciously feel the seasons anyway so this is a nice way to make it more tangible and leverage the seasonal changes into bettering myself and my relationship with goals.
