Thinkin about the if time is money universe (bc that’s still a top tier fic) and wondering how the characters in that universe would react to Callum getting possessed, even if to briefly give a message, just cuz that fic was pre the season 4 release. I can see the moonshadow fam being All Kinds Of Upset.

Oh I'm always lowkey thinking about ITIM'verse (and some of the missed angst opportunities bc it's post-S3 only - didn't even get to TTM. And also Terry! We're gonna try to work Terry into the sequel)

I think that Ethari would be super upset/worried immediately cause in this verse he's had four years to get to know Callum and already sees the kid as a son in the early chapters. For Lain and Tiadrin it would vary, a bit - like they'd be upset no matter what, but their concern would absolutely grow 100% as the fic went on and they got closer and closer to Callum.

Runaan would probs have the biggest shift though. If it's in the early chapters he might be more inclined to take Callum out / protecting Rayla from the scenario would be his first priority, with some lingering mistrust of his future son-in-law (that would absolutely exacerbate the shitty feelings and anger/fear Callum is already feeling - that said, asking Runaan to kill him and forging a weird form of trust on their ends that way? Yeah). However I wanna say anything post like chapter 6 Runaan would absolutely not kill him under any circumstances and grow vehemently more protective as the fic goes on (post-chapter 12 he'll probably want to kill Aaravos himself lmao)

Favorite canon thing about this character?

Percy: Honestly, I love his sass but I also love the simple ways he notices Annabeth.

Merlin: For Merlin, I love how we get to see him struggle on a lot of levels. Emotional, physical. Give me all those feels.

Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Percy: I kinda get the blue food thing, but it always feels off to me because I see Gabe as the type of person who wouldn't take kindly to a joke at his behest. I can see Sally trying it once, there are consequences, and then it disappears fast. So a Percy-adjacent thing, I guess. There are other things that bug me, but I think they're a Rick thing, not a Percy thing.

Merlin: Sometimes I just get so frustrated at him for NOT spilling the beans on his secret. I honestly wish he had a little more trust in people.

Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

Percy: Jeans with very worn hems, and tight-fitting but not clingy shirts (too loose and it's hard to fight with). I see him as 'looks good in everyday clothes' and as someone who rarely puts in an effort.

Merlin: In today's time, a very neutral color palette. I imagine he doesn't want to stand out, so he's neat and tidy but doesn't wear the hottest trends. He sticks to classic pieces, and really enjoys heavy wool pea coats.

i am sleep deprived An Amount for sure, i’m trying to do better skdsjfh. coffee thing is sorta true, i wouldn’t say i *hate* the taste of it but i definitely add too much sugar to unambiguously qualify as a coffee liker. and i AM just a bit below 5’8! if i was an honest and humble person i would just call myself 5’7 and not count the extra not-quite-inch but i just call it 5’8. or sometimes 5’9 bc i’m a liar and still mad that my younger brother got taller than me

It's funny that you should ask about my hair, though, because I've been going through a bit of a hair journey. Recently (a.k.a a couple of months ago) discovered it was wavy, so I stopped torturing it treating it as straight. As a result, I'm losing waaaay less hair. Literally used to leave hair wherever I went and pulled out entire clumps while brushing it.

But to finally answer your question, I have wavy hair a bit past my shoulders. It's the shortest it's been since I was a young child. In the mornings I have a lion's many befitting a Leo, lol.

(I had this sitting in my drafts, ANSWERED, for ages thinking I'd posted it.)

Favorite color: navy blue

Favorite season: fall. Hands down the best season. It gets cold and I can wear jeans and hoodies and sweaters, I can comfortably drink hot chocolate or chai lattes, it’s spooky season for some of it! 10/10 great season.

Favorite music genre: I’m gonna pretend it says genres (plural) instead. Alternative, rock, cinematic alternative, symphonic metal, modern orchestra, classical.

Favorite book genre: In the broad sense of it, fantasy. Mostly high fantasy though. I don’t read a lot of urban fantasy.

I gotta ask - have you read @owlswing’s Rise of Wizardry series? It focuses on Jack and Hiccup’s friendship and also has AMAZING angst in it later on that I love dearly.

It's been on my to-read list since someone has suggested it when I made that fic rec post! Though rn I'm forcing myself to not read anything until I finish my oneshot, because I know I'd start making comparisons and feel bad about what I make! One thing is having a healthy challenge with myself, another is obsessing with the result lol

Soren is definitely a character where I like writing/reading about him and just watching him in the show more than necessarily writing meta about him (despite the fact he's absolutely deeper than he appears on the surface, he is actually very honest - ultimately - about how he feels with a pretty black-and-white worldview that may be challenged someday, but like - he doesn't lie to himself that much? Family mess notwithstanding, sometimes). I love exploring/writing his unique perspectives on growing up in the castle and all that came with it as well as his endearingly honest and sometimes also silly sincerity. He's just a great guy who's really matured and very easy to multiship tbh. Love him
