Yancy should have been home by now.

He had one last bit of business to take care of for the day before heading home to Enzo, but he's over an hour late with no messages to explain why.

Until an audio message comes through. There's muted sounds of gunshots in the background, which could be written off as the TV playing an action movie. Except that Yancy is breathless and his voice is strained with pain.

"Baby... I need you to listen to me, I don't have a lotta time. I need you to stay put at the apartment, alright? Don't talk to nobody, not even if they work for me or say they do. I can't... I dunno who to trust now, its..." a shaky breath before he continues. "Type in 013487 into the security system by the door, and no one can get in there, okay? Fuck... I love you, amati. I'll see you soon, I swear."

Things not happening when they're supposed to always stresses Enzo out. So Yancy being an hour late with no communication is fucking terrifying to him.

And the message doesn't help console him. Especially with how breathless Yancy is and the gunshots in the background.

He does exactly as Yancy says, even barracading the door and closing the blinds just to be safe. Then he sends a text back.

Oscar is Denise's uncle! They live in a van and are a very artistically inclined family!

Denise (12-13yrs) is a little lady! Quite mature, she is still figuring herself out, and are exploring different aspects of art! She is currently exploring spray painting, painting, and goes to ballet classes! She also wears heelys cus i said so.

Oscar (35yrs) had his hand in ballet, before quitting completely. Shy and anxious man, though physically fit. He would do anything for Denise. Very loving family.

This is Wendy Swan!

A very wealthy woman in the city, She used to be an Olympic ballet dancer! But now she stepped down from her position to teach aspiring ballerinas from rich families!

Wendy is also Denise's teacher and shes quite fond of her because of her passion and respect for the arts.

Wendy knows Oscar from childhood... Not because they are friends, but because she was a childhood bully. They had dance classes together. Shes still chastises him to this day. Mean girl vibes.
