Oh neat I’m 30 🎂The last decade has been a rollercoaster and here’s to getting ever-closer to the eccentric old lady I deserve to be👵🏻 Jewelry from Omnia Studios and The Deadly Stake, Gunne Sax dress vintage and coat & belt thrifted.
First part of my Milva cosplay is finished. I drafted the pattern yesterday and managed to make the pouch today. I used brown leather and green suede to try a more elaborate pattern. It was fun and also two layers in the part that makes for the back and the flap of the pouch makes it all more stiff.
The green suede will correspond well with the fabric I bought for Milva's tunic.
I made these 6+ years ago, before I knew how awful a certain wizarding author was. Please don't judge me too harshly. I wouldn't put them up for sale if I didn't need the money.
Besides, you really want a handsome little belt pouch with Pikachu on the flap, don't you?
I don't remember if I ever showed off this project or not. It's a belt hip bag that I made for renfest because my costume didn't have pockets lol. This is the first time I tried heat foil stamping on a project too! I had to resist going overboard and covering the whole thing in shiny foil. maybe on another project
Fairytale fashion 🧚♀️ Underdress from Retro Fairy, overdress by Holy Clothing, earrings from Etah Love, necklace by Omnia Studios, piano shawl, boots and belt vintage, belt bag by me.
Another belt pouch I started making last weekend and finished today. I tried my hand at stamping this time along with some cutting. There is a place to fasten keys inside - something I forgot to add into my previous pouch. I think it's an important addition, especially since I'm a bit paranoid about losing my keys from something that does not have a zipped inner pocket.
Quick Cass painting. Tried a thing with the red background bleeding through her because I thought it looked cool (inspired in part by the batman 2022 and all the "red" fanart for it and also one of my art teachers who said I should let the underpaintings of oil paintings poke through — pretty sure those aren't the words she used — the actual painting)
All right, guys. Finances are a bloody mess, so I'm going to try my etsy store again.
What I have right now are belt pouches and pouch wallets (I also make fingerless gloves, but those are all packed away). Shipping to the US only until/unless I get some finances straightened out to be able to ship international.
I'm thinking $20 for a basic wallet, $25 for a basic pouch, $30 for an embroidered wallet, and $35 for the embroidered pouch. I have 19 wallets and 4 pouches, all stuff I made for a craft show six years ago (lol).
(Yes, there are TERF wizard wallets, unfortunately I didn't know the author's viewpoints then, and I'd destroy them now except I *really* need the money, but I will never remake those designs)
The other embroidered ones are Pokémon. I've been using my Bulbasaur wallet for four and a half years now. Granted, I keep it in a purse and not a pocket, but you can see how the embroidery has held up over this time.
Wallets have three internal pockets. Pouches are large enough to fit a wallet, phone, and keys (at least).
All with velcro closures. All are vinyl outside and cotton inside (except one that's made from old jeans and one from an old army uniform). I'll be posting them in full on my etsy shop this weekend.
So. Keep an eye out for Raven's Roost Stitchery (accessories for the adventurous spirit). I'll post links when I get them up. Please consider me, if you need a wallet (or a gift! I give some away for Christmas every year! My family loves these!).
