Curzon Dax is the Lord Jiraiya of the DS9 universe. The writers think: this guy is a flawed mentor but overall he's great. And they're wrong. They both fucking suck.

He scams old people on Facebook and e-daters, he doesn't feel bad about it either.
He uses the money he gets from scamming to buy v-bucks and overwatch coins
He once doxxed someone for dissing miku
slender had to take away his mic privileges because he was keeping everyone up at night by yelling bloody murder at people on fortnite/overwatch
once showed up at someones house because they emoted on him after killing him in game
Toby:
He vapes, and thinks he's so cool cause he can do "vape tricks" and he makes people watch him while he does them
Someone once gave him apple cider, told him it was alcohol, and he pretended to be drunk.
His phone gallery is filled with random photos, like there'll be a low quality picture of a tree and then right beside it a picture of a ceiling. Just random stuff

He's really flexible, although he has bad posture he can do back bends, the splits, etc

When he first started working for slenderman, he REFUSED to live in the manor and lived outside. While he lived outside he became friends with a lot of the wildlife, slender eventually made him move into the manor because there was a rumor that toby was going to make a "possum army" and try to overthrow slender
He will fight anyone and anything he really doesn't care about his, or their well-being.
Had a "weeb" phase when he was in middle school and he still has nightmares about "naruto running" away from his bullies.
Hoodie:
He can make a killer sandwich (lol) he's not the best at cooking other things, but if you get him to make you a sandwich, he'll bless your taste buds.
He loves karaoke, he can't sing for shit but he still does it anyway
He acts like a millennial (I'm sorry) not to the point where it's completely unbearable, but he will send people "relatable memes" every now and then
He enjoys online arguments, he'll never participate but he will scroll through different threads of people arguing for hours on end
He likes for people to say stuff like "GO WHITE BOY GO" to him
He blushes when he lies, he's a scarily good liar but if you ever want to catch him in a lie, point out the fact that his cheeks are red.
Whenever he has a drink with a straw, he holds the straw in-between his tooth gap.
he sends streaks.
Masky:
He has a NASTYYY side eye, and sometimes he'll scrunch up his nose while side eyeing someone just to make it sting even more
Contemplated getting a mullet once, he never went through with it though.
He coughs like someone's grandfather who smoked three packs of cigarettes a day for 40 years
If someone says a word that reminds him lf a song he likes, it'll automatically get stuck in his head and he'll hum it all day after that.
he isn't weak when it comes to stinky smells, but if it's stinky enough to make him gag he's extremely overdramatic.
he learned how to sew because of how much he ripped his jeans, shirts, etc.
Sleeps so hard sometimes people think he's dead, he'll just be laying there looking casket ready but everyone is too scared to check on him cause he gets super grumpy when woken up.
he always keeps a little money hidden somewhere, even if it's just a 5 dollar bill.
he's superstitious, if he sees you attempt to walk under a ladder he will physically drag you back and make you walk around it.
he has a pair of brass knuckles which he only saves for "special occasions" they're his favorite things ever, he even named them.
he only uses his phone to call, text, or search something up, and that's it.
he doesn't even have YouTube installed.

Meet the Seiyuu: Grim
Grim’s seiyuu Sugiyama Noriaki has been voice acting since 1999.
His first recurring role in an anime was as the voice of Uchiha Sasuke in Naruto. He is also the voice of Ishida Uryuu in Bleach and Emiya Shirou in Fate/stay night.
Today is his birthday!
Sugiyama has voiced over 35 lead characters in various anime and OVA such as Shukuri Akito in NORN9, Boris Airay in Alice in the Country of Hearts, Harumoto Keishi in ACTORS -Songs Connection- and more.
He is also a previous Toboso Yana collaborator, voicing William T. Spears in the Kuroshitsuji anime.
Sugiyama is very prolific in the video game and drama CD industries, voicing characters in over 200 video games such as the Naruto, Bleach, Alice in the Country of Hearts and Fate/stay night series, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Magna Carta II, Wrench in Watch Dogs 2 and more.
He also does dubs of foreign movies and cartoons, providing the Japanese-language voices of Bloo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and Kevin Levin from Ben 10.
Sugiyama has a video game-based YouTube channel which sounds very similar to Grim playing video games, it is very cute.

So I’m planning on making two different record of ragnarok books.
One for Buddha x female!reader and the other one a reverse harem.
I only have the Buddha x reader idea so I’ll be putting done some of my ideas for the various one but first I would like to show y’all the Buddha x reader fanfic idea!
The idea is: the reader was the wife to guatama siddhartha otherwise known as Buddha in the future. After her husband left she didn’t really have anything to do in that world so she took her son and left back to her world; the world full of magic almost ever turn you look if you’re able to see the rukh that flows in that world. After the battle with the medium she and her son were summoned and meet with two Valkyrie sisters; brunhilde, and göll. The reader joined in the fight to save humanity even if the humans are from another world.
The reader will be the sibling to Solomon and daughter to David from magi (such a underrated series that needs more seasons 😭)

yes!
Lonnie and her brother like to watch comedy movies together and play video games
Their favorite genre is Fighting Games and their favorite is Tekken
They like fighting games because they are interested in Martial Arts
They also watch anime! they mostly watch the popular ones like Naruto and Jujutsu Kaisen
Ben's favorite colour is blue! his mom makes him cakes and blue food with the blue color to support him
Ben also plays video games! his genre is mostly the popular ones tbh, but he plays any game really!
Audrey, Ben, Chad, Lonnie, Jane, Jamila and Shang Jr often had get togethers and video game nights before Shang graduated
Chloe joined them sometimes too!
When Mal and the other VK's arrived they taught them how to play Video games too as there weren't any on the Isle, only old ones we see on D3's arcade
Mal defintely mains Reina Mishima
They Core 4 became part of the group too and joined them after they arrived and Mal dated Ben
Audrey did not join them after D1-D2

The arcades in Auradon are way bigger and way cleaner so Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos were both in awe when Ben and the gang brought them in one
Jane is a good cook!, her mother taught her to bake and cook when she was a teenager so she could manage when she grew up, whenever the school had an event, her delicates were the best thing to try!
Jamila and Shang Jr dated around their 2nd-3rd year, everyone knew they were crushing on each other except them
Jamila and Shang were also childhood friends!

Sakurai Keiwa - Bouts of Hesitation.
To preface this, every person is free to interpret any character however they like, its just that there can be wrong interpretations or misguided or even biased interpretations.
As I was browsing through the Geats tag, I saw someone post about Keiwa’s hesitation in joining Ace’s DGP, a DGP without any price and prize, and how his hesitance does not make him a hero.
And that is a fair assessment, he’s just like acting like any human being, even if I disagree with the assessment. It wasn’t misguided or even biased and its not a wrong interpretation either.
It’s the reply to the post that baffles me.
The reply said “He is just like Daiji. A self-proclaimed hero with a savior complex. In other words, a villain. “
And let me tell you, I was really gobsmacked when I read that post, I had to lie in bed for a time to let that sink in, to process what I just read.
Not only did they interpreted Keiwa’s character wrong but to be fair, his character arc isn’t even finished, but they grossly misinterpreted Daiji’s character and his character arc
They had the audacity to label both Secondary Riders as, and I quote, “a self-proclaimed hero with a savior complex.” that assessment was, true, but I was totally stunned when they equate having a savior complex into being a villain.
Like damn, what are you on?
Let’s enumerate characters who I think have a savior complex and tell me if all of them are villains.
Tadashi Hamada from Big Hero 6 (Somebody has to help)
Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto (granted he wanted to save Sasuke more often than not, but he still has a complex in saving anyone and everyone, talk no jutsu everyone?)
Eiji Hino from OOO
Sento Kiryuu from Build
Takeru Tenkuuji from Ghost
Yamato Kazakiri from Zyuohger
Keiichirou Asaka from Lupinranger vs. Patranger.
Hiromu Sakurada from Go-Busters
Marinette Dupain-Cheng from Miraculous Ladybug
Billy Batson from DC comics (not the current iteration but the iteration before the Flashpoint Paradox)
Teenage Ben Tennyson from Ben 10 Ultimate Alien (the one episode where he basically kills himself so that the sentient beings in his watch can go free should tell you that)
Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia.
And these are just the characters at the top of my head, and I know I can fill the list with a lot characters from Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.
I think they have a savior complex? Yes, do I think they’re villains? HELL NO!.
Let’s start with Daiji as he’s a character whose character arc is done and lets jump to the time when he sided with Akaishi. The thing with Daiji is that he often views the world in black and white, Kagerou’s absence only exacerbated that view of his to the nth degree. He literally views siding with Giffu to be the safest option.
It doesn’t help that Akaishi is a master manipulator who manipulated Daiji like a fiddle, without Kagerou to help him question Akaishi’s motives, he fell right into it, hook, line, and sinker.
Akaishi being a master manipulator? Where was that? How about him running Fenix all along with people oblivious to his many motives?.
So let’s summarize Daiji’s character for this arc: He was manipulated into doing things he thinks is right with his personal fact checker absent, and you say that makes him a villain.
And who’s not a villain? Olteca?
Now for Keiwa.
It’s a known fact that Keiwa definitely has his grandiose ideals, he tried to narrow it down, but it was still as grand as his first but a little more reachable with the DGP’s wish system.
And then the whole fallout happened, I still believe that Keiwa is partially right in that Mitsume was at fault for letting things go this far, she literally voices this to Ace when they finally met.
But she’s not fully at fault for what’s happened
In any case, Keiwa’s hesitation comes from being given a choice as opposed to not thinking about his choices and just fight for it. Both Keiwa and Neon have already proven this when the Jamato Grand Prix first started.
Keiwa and Neon joined Ace in defending the populace from the Jamato even when they know that they literally will be unpaid for their saving the world services.
And this episode cements that, when faced with the Jamato, Keiwa’s and Neon’s first instinct was to save the civilians from the Jamato WITHOUT THEIR RIDER POWERS, there was no hesitation in trying to save the civilians from these monstrous plant creatures.
This is also not the first time Keiwa’s hesitated either. He first hesitated when he found out that the Jamato he’s fighting was the same Rider who saved him and Neon during a previous game, but Ace corrected his assumption and let him make the winning shot.
The second time he hesitated was when Archimedel targeted Sara, he hesitated because he was weighing the pros and cons of respecting Sara’s wishes of him not becoming a Rider anymore and before it was too late, he had weighed his sister’s life over respecting her wishes. (That and he was waiting to see if Ace would intervene or not)
Making snap decisions with multiple choices isn’t Keiwa’s thing. He can make snap decisions when the choices presented were doing something or doing nothing and doing nothing would pile up corpses.
If the choices are other than the two choices before, he hesitates and takes time to decide and weigh the pros and cons of his choices.
IDK about anyone but I don’t think Daiji and Keiwa’s actions aren’t villainous than say, Mitsuzane trying to save his friends in the most underhanded and heinous way possibl.
Or even Takatora.
The main difference between the characters you think who are villainous and have a savior complex is one thing, both Daiji and Keiwa do not like to sacrifice a life to achieve their goals unlike villainous character you view to have a savior complex, they have the mentality of “inevitable casualties”
And that difference doesn’t make Keiwa, or even Daiji, a villain.

the party as cringy 2010s middle schoolers:
mike would be one of those kids who worshipped matpat religiously. probably into classic creepypastas and indie horror but he gets all his takes from reddit so they kinda suck. he’s the guy you’d expect to be a FNAF kid, but he’s actually secretly (really, really secretly) a homestuck kid (that mother fucker is a john egbert kinnie, i Don’t Care). he has a wattpad and if anybody finds out he’ll kill everybody in the room and then himself.
el would be an undertale kid 100% through and through. she accidentally stumbled across the simp part of the fandom on pinterest (her only social media) once and was utterly traumatized. she also has a wattpad but unlike mike she actually uses it for its intended purpose (reading bad hetero romance novels). she and will watch gravity falls together as a tradition and she tries to learn to knit so that she can make mabel’s sweater.
dustin would be a minecraft kid. like, they're all minecraft kids, but he’s THEE kid in the creeper tshirt with a strong parasocial attachment to captainsparklez. he likes the MCU a more than normal amount, but not in a tumblr fandom kinda way. likes dr who and BBC sherlock but he doesn’t know about the fandom.
lucas would be a vine kid i am firmly convinced about this. he’s the bitch who can’t go 10 minutes without yelling “road work ahead? i sure hope it does!” he also probably watches ben 10 and shonen anime. he likes naruto but he also doesn’t want to tell anyone that he’s only seen the dub.
max would also like anime but in a far more cryptic way. nobody really knows what she’s into. she hatewatched a single logan paul video and it ruined her youtube algorithm. she runs at least 2 stan twitter accounts and it’s unclear if they’re very dedicated trolls or not. she watched supernatural. she has opinions on supernatural. she will not share her opinions on supernatural. she’s just biding her time until she-ra is released tbh.
will would be the actual FNAF kid of the friend group, after mike unknowingly got him into it. he’s also the only one with an actual tumblr (mike stalks blogs frequently but is stubbornly dedicated to not making an account). he mostly posts LOTR fanart and he has no clue how to process the fact that he has a decent following for it. less into creepypastas than mike, but he likes cryptids. when he’s older he’s gonna be a mothman simp i know it in my bones.

I think it's great that not only Ingo and Emmet, but also Pokémon characters are so well designed that no matter what touch anyone uses to draw them, including the titles you mentioned, they are instantly recognisable as 'them'. Not a prank exactly, but lemme tell you about the time a kid in my high school class managed to give me $50 without knowing it.
See, when I was a little kid, I was sort of trained by my birth mother to scope out coins on the ground when we were homeless, so my eyes were trained on shiny discs and folded green paper for the longest time. By the time my Mom ((grandmother who adopted me)) got custody of me, it was already a habit that was hard to break, so I'd chase after dropped coins to either give back to the person who dropped them or keep them if they didn't want them.
This also would happen at school.
One kid thought it was absolutely hilarious that I'd chase after pennies and nickels, and he started throwing them any chance he got. Thought it was a riot, and would laugh at exploiting what was essentially a tic I had for a while. The whole year, he'd throw coins on the floor in front of me and I'd get out of my seat to pick them up and ask if he wanted them back.
He didn't want them because "It's just pennies, what am I going to do with them??"
Everyone heard him say that. The teacher heard him say that. He absolutely gave me the okay to keep whatever he throws from then on. Alright, cool.
This continues for months. I would pocket the coins and drop them in a jar I had on my dresser, because I was saving money for some spending cash at Comic Con after having spent my Christmas money on a ticket half a year in advance. I was a teenager who didn't have a job, so my means of funds was usually just birthday or Christmas money I would ration out for specific fun things I really wanted, coins I saved, occasion tasks I'd earn up a little from, or just taking old stuff to the game store for in store credit to trade in. It was pretty cool back then, I got a rare Pilot Episode DVD of Samurai Jack for a buck once because the dollar store has some hidden gems if you dig through hard enough.
Anyway, this guy kept throwing coins at me, laughing and even getting other people to watch.
I kept picking up coins.
Finally, the last day of school comes for summer vacation, and it's just a month away from Comic Con, so I decided to bring the jar to class. He laughs at this awkward and heavy jar, which was an old glass candy jar with a strip of blue masking tape and "Fun Fund" written in sharpie on it.
I set the jar down smugly, and tell him "Hey, thanks for the $50, I really needed this for my trip to the Con next month."
I swear, his face dropped a few shades when he realizes that he just threw out half of a Ben Franklin's worth of cash this whole time. He starts getting mad and demanding I give it back to him.
"Nuh uh, you said I could keep it all."
"I DIDN'T KNOW THAT'S HOW MUCH IT WAS!"
The whole class and even the teacher agreed that yes, because he said I could keep it all when I asked several times over the year if he wanted it back, so it was definitely mine now.
Kid learned a $50 lesson that day.
I bought a Viz Media bag, a Kingdom Hearts manga, a Naruto headband, a King Ghidorah plush and four Sonic comic books at Comic Con that year
Best slow burn revenge I did, and probably my 2nd best revenge moment in school.

Favorite Ben 10 Aliens
Still in a bit of a Ben 10 mood and felt it would be fun to gush about my favorite aliens.
The Ben 10 series usually does a decent job of showing each alien's strengths and weaknesses, always making sure neither of them feels more important than the other and giving them all a moment to shine, kinda like a parent that manages to equally love all its kids.
But even with that equal spreading of love and focus, we all still have a few ones that we enjoy watching more than others, and these are mine:
Upchuck
This dude is kinda hard to explain why I like him so much. I think it's because he just gives a strong "things every boy likes" vibe.
An alien whose power is to eat stuff and then burp them out who looks like a frog and can leap around all over the place with ease while also having four giant tongues.
He's just so gross but in a strangely really fun and cool way, I don't know why, I just like him a lot.
Gravattack
I love gravity powers. I love the idea of being able to manipulate how heavy or how light something can be and use it as a weapon for combat.
It's basically a more limited version of telekinesis but I'm honestly a bigger fan of characters trying to work around their limitations than just being given some almighty power.
Also like the idea that he's some sort of living planet that has its own gravity, very out-of-the-box.
Wildmutt
This is one of the few aliens from the show that I would call underrated, mostly because as far as I remember, they never gave it an episode where it saved the day in the classic show.
Regardless, I love Wildmutt. I always like characters with claws or characters who tap into a more feral side, kinda like Naruto when he becomes the fox.
And again, I like how they give it limitations and ways to work around its limitations. Wildmutt can't see but it uses some sort of Daredevil-like sonar to be able to scan the field around it. He's basically Toph from Avatar.
I also just find the design and the sound effects on this thing so cool. The noise from its howl feels exactly as it should, some sort of beastly noise while also feeling like an alien noise.
Ultimate Echo Echo
Kinda cheating on this one, but oh, well...
This is the evolved form of Echo Echo, a tiny alien that has the power to multiply and release sonic attacks, except now, instead of making copies of itself, it actually releases a ton of small discs attached to its body that release the sound for him.
I'm not sure how they came up with that but it worked really well.
He has a sleek design, an evolution that feels like a sensible step forward from its main theme, and manages to feel compact yet strong at the same time.

Ben had a surprising ton of electric aliens throughout the course of the show. An electric yeti, a living battery, a floating jellyfish... A Frankenstein monster (because why not?), but my favorite was by far Feedback.
I think what seels him for me is that, more than any alien, he just gives a big "fun" vibe. Something about the way he's always smiling, how he always tanks enemies' attacks by absorbing them and then sending them back, how agile he is during fights making it look like he's playing around...
Feedback just feels like he owns every scene he's in. It's not just that he's badass, it's that he knows he's badass and is loving every second of it.
Big Chill
God, this is just such a 10/10 design.
A ghost moth that has ice powers and can rest its wings around its body as if it was a cape like one of the characters of Gargoyles... I don't know who thought of this character but they are seriously not getting paid enough.
I don't know what I can say that you can't already tell just by looking at this thing. You either already love him or you're going to love him once you see it in action.
His design is literally so perfect that any attempt at changing it just ruins it completely (in my opinion). They tried to give him an ultimate form and in Omniverse they tried to make him larger for whatever reason... And I really don't like either of these.
Big Chill is great just the way he is. No need to add or change anything.
XLR8
It's a freaking velociraptor in rollerskates. It's such a stupid idea but somehow they made it cool.
That just feels like the kind of thing you would see in a 90's show during the time where everything was "EXTREME!!"
But what I like about Ben 10 is that everything still has that sci-fi alien vibe, so instead of looking like some sort of rejected Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain, XLR8 just looks less like some sports lizard and more like another alien species.
(I still like Mondo Gecko though)
XLR8 is probably one of my favorite takes on the idea of a speedster character.
Small note, before I learned English I couldn't for the life of me figure out what his name meant, and because we had another show at the time with a similar name called "Megas XLR" for the longest time I just assumed "XLR" was some kind of code for sci-fi things that move fast.
Upgrade
First of all, the Brazillian name for this dude? "Ultra T", which was short for "Ultra Technology."
That was a really lame dub name...
But anyway, Upgrade basically represents the essence of what makes Ben 10 so fun. The same way you would get excited wondering what alien Ben would turn into next, you would also get excited wondering what machine Upgrade would take over next and what it would look like and how it would improve.
Best one so far is probably the time he possessed a clock tower and turned into some sort of helicopter. That was so awesome.
Also like how he works as some sort of Venom suit from the Spider-Man comics with how he just spreads his goo all over the place and turns it into his own by fusing with it.
You could make a whole series about this guy alone. He's such a creative concept!
Diamondhead
I used Diamondhead clips before when talking about character movement and Geokineses, so you can tell I'm a big fan of his.
His scene where he's diamond surfing through the city remains of my favorite forms of movement for any character ever, right up there with Spider-Man's web swing and Tarzan's tree sliding.
But even aside from that, I just love the idea of a character made entirely of diamonds and able to control it to make weapons like a Fullmetal Alchemist character.
Sorry for sounding like a broken record but... It just looks and feels so cool and creative to me.
They could just have made him be some big brute with an unbreakable body that punches things really hard but they went even further and gave him some really inventive use of his powers.
Heatblast
And my final favorite alien and probably the most boring pick I could have chosen.
Yeah, it's the fire guy. One of the most overused powers in all forms of media, be it movies, shows, comics, or whatever... There is always a fire guy.
But I can't help it, he just looks so cool!!
He has a body made entirely of solid magma and a Ghost Rider head, he surfs on a comet and can breathe fire like a dragon, he can make Spirit Bombs and Kamehamehas with his flames and even fly with them by bursting himself like a rocket, AND he's voiced by Steve Goddamn Blum, the freaking voice of Wolverine.

Heatblast feels like he was made in a lab with a blackboard that had the words "Just put a bunch of awesome things in it" written in all caps.
No wonder they picked him to be Ben's first alien, they just started with the best possible first impressions ever!
A great alien to sell you on a great show!
