[Beowulf@Leilani] "A-alola," he mimicked the greeting the seal used before when they met. "I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about your home? Were there lots of rules you had to follow? Glas has me follow a lot of rules.. but sometimes Kelpie lets me break one or two when he's not around."

"The Tribe has lots of rules for everything. Rules to keep us safe, rules for talking to others of a different age or gender, rules about what we're taught, rules related to some of our beliefs, rules for the Voice. It sounds like a lot, but it's really not that bad. Mostly we're allowed to do whatever we want, except for a few things. Like, Popplio and Brionne weren't allowed to travel too far away out into the open ocean. And Primarina only really could to look for food. Of course, that never stopped Kai from bringing me on some of his adventures, but he gets in trouble with Mother and the Koa a lot for doing that."

"To be honest, it's a little surprising me and Kai were allowed to spend lots of time together. Usually the males and females of the Tribe don't really play together. Same with Popplio and Brionne. It's not that we aren't allowed to, but I know some of the chief's council and some of the older Primarina prefer to keep us separated by age and gender. I think it's because the male Primarina are warriors of the Koa while the female Primarina raise the young and they think we should be playing and making friends with those like us so we can be ready when we grow up. But I always thought that was stupid. So did Kai, and both Mother and the chief think it's important to learn from those who are different from you, so they don't like it either."

"I think the most important rule we have is about the use of our Voice, though, and that's been a rule forever and ever, all the way back to the time of Akua. Basically, our Voice is a gift to help others, not a weapon, and it must never be used to take the life of another, except to protect ourselves if all else fails."

"Anyway, sorry if I bored you with all this talk of rules and stuff. I know it's kinda boring, but I still had fun with the Tribe!! Hmm... do you want to do something fun together? Like look for shiny things or treasures?"

"Popplio are Water Pokemon mostly from a place called Alola, but I'm guessing you've never been there, right? I can't really talk, though 'cause I haven't been there either. My tribe is usually 'nomandic' - that means they're always travelling, you know - but it's a long story.

Anyway, you said this place is for healing, right? This place seems like it's like a million years old, but not really scary. Surely you don't get hurt here often, right? Are you like a guardian for this place?"
