#harrybertoia asymmetrical chaise. Sculptural and comfortable. Genuine #knollstudio designed 1950 but not put into production ‘til 2003 when Bertoia’s family sold one of the two original prototypes submitted to Hans and Florence Knoll. It was only then that Knoll was able to use it as a model for production. It was considered too difficult to produce in 1950 and only the chairs were launched at that time. This example upholstered by Designers Guild is in stock now. The original design did come with upholstery designed by #richardschultz . #bertoia #knoll #midcenturymodernchair #midcenturyinteriors #midcentury #midcenturydesign #midcenturyfurniture #asymmetricalchair #knollinternational (at Acme inc) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqYda4co1Yp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
