something i wanna say about commissions just in general cause this was so good

can we normalize giving the artist a rough sketch if you have something in mind you want us to draw? even if you yourself don’t know how to draw for the people (like me) who isn’t too good at drawing something from just you explaining it? i’ve had a comm once where i had no idea what this person wanted but we talked about it for a long time until i finally got it right it was nerve-racking on my part

im saying this bc i recently got a comm and was offered a rough sketch of what this person wanted and that made me happy cause im not that good at following descriptions 

SO what im saying basically if you don’t have something in mind like, “Can you just draw me a picture of this character idc what it is just something with that character” or a simple “these characters hugging” give the artist a rough sketch if they can’t do by descriptions
