i know people really hate academy x because its too much of a teen drama and not an action book (before kyle and yost took over) but god theres so much hostility i can feel towards Sofia as a character because shes one of the only students who really wasnt involved or important at all in the kyle/yost run. it sucks so much because she's such a great character and its clear the writers were going to take her and her powers in a very interesting direction. shes like one of my top academy x kids but its RARE to find someone who also cares about her.

Meet Eridith Orzumi!

Leilani's long-lost girlfriend.

Golden retriever moment.

You'd never believe she'd been put through the dog-fighting ringer due to her lack of scars.

Alike to Leilani, she was kidnapped from her family from a young age.

They both met in the ring, and she was the first kind face that Leilani had genuinely met.

They both aspired to escape together and actually succeeded.

They lived their best life in the freedom of the outside world and wanted to explore it by eachother's side.

That was until Leilani proceeded to get snatched right back up while Eridith wasn't looking and hauled off back into dogfighting.

Eridith has been devoted to searching for her ever since.

She has a really outdated image of Leilani in her head.

Travels from town to town asking if anyone's seen her.

She and Leilani are total polar opposites now.

Flower symbolism moment.

Eridith wears sunflowers as a symbol of devotion and positivity, she took being loyal very seriously. Meanwhile, Leilani wears red chrysanthemums, in contrast to Eridith, they're a symbol of her rage and resentment to those around her and how it festers and consumes her entire being.

Leilani would also probably try to kill her if they ever met again.

Eridith wields a bow like Leilani.

She's a very sociable and bright person and seems to try and make friends with everyone she comes across, unless they're hostile.

She literally shines in the sunlight.

Contrary to popular belief, she can fight well, that's one thing she got from being within the ring, even if she wasn't involved in many fights directly.

She's very fluffy.

She's a very good hunter.

She's also a very good swimmer.

Once she befriends you, she will never forget you, you now have a friend for life.

Probably the most trustworthy person you'll ever meet.

She has a passion for running, especially on long trails, somehow managing to never get lost and always find her way back.

She's able to be serious when needed and is acutely aware of her surroundings even if she seems to have her guard down.

She has very good hearing.

She basically oozes big sister energy.
