Review - I am up to readdddddd anything involving THE INHERITANCE GAMES universe. I love the series so very much. And I was really so excited to get to read Grayson and Jameson's book. Even though I liked the mystery, the riddles and secrets, family dynamics or chemistry between Avery and Jameson I felt very disappointed by THE BROTHERS HAWTHORNE.
First offffff!!!! the magic of the series, the spark was missing, many important fun characters like Libby, Max, Alisa, Rebecca, Thea, or even Oren, Nash and Xander (who were present) were missing.
If there is fifth book or any book in the future plzzzzzzzzz let all the characters be backkkkk. (fingers crossed 😃)
Gigi and Savannah are really are fun addition to the books.
I liked it, didn't love it .

I'm watching a youtube video and they started talking about all the shit in harry potter that just didn't make any fuckin sense, and while I don't believe that the "the books have actually been bad this whole time" sentiment is helpful in the argument against jkr, it is sort of insane that for the like 20 years before she went fully mask off terf everyone just didn't question any of the wild inconsistencies in the books 😭

Daisy Darker - The Thrilling Suspense Novel That Threw Me Into 2023
Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney was one of the first books I read this year and I feel confident in saying that it’s been a kick in the right direction for my reading as both a reader searching for new genres to enjoy and a writer wanting to learn new techniques and storytelling methods. I got hooked on the first page and felt myself hanging onto every word. Now it’s time to convince you to read it…

"She /murdered/ him, Tanner, she just told me this. She /confessed/." "I don't suppose you were able to. . .record any of it somehow? Cell phone or something?" "We were naked with the shower running, and she whispered everything." "I don't even want to ask," he said. not interested in stranger things (the first season is perfect as a stand alone story imo), but SBS on Demand has this show called ‘Paraíso’ which has a very strong Stranger Things vibe but it’s set in the late 1980s-early 1990s (at least I think it’s that time period) in SPAIN. I’ve only seen one episode but the ending to that episode is a real cliff hanger and I’m interested to see where it goes.
also the end credits song is a banger, literally once i heard it I had to go looking for it.

REVIEW : ONE OF US IS BACK by @writerkmc.
Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!! 🥺🥺🥺 I'm goona miss the bayview murder club / the bayview crew. I'm completely and totally smitten by Karen m mcnamus's bayview world. And I loved how in every book the members kept increasing and they all become kind of a found family.
Myyyy Goddddd 😮😮 In One of Us Is Back : the secrets, the plot twists and the tension, the juicy characters made my jaw drop.
Romance subplot was magical ✨😇
I am head over heels for every character present in this books - Nate and Bronwyn are ENDGAME, they are infinite. Addy is the bravest. Kris and Copper have my heart. Maeave is so damn intelligent and along with Luis, they are so cute. Phoebe and Knox were totes adorable and deserve everything. Supporting characters - phenomenal.
I enjoyed reading Jake and Simon's chapters. And how everything came back to them in the end.
The endinggggggg Ugh so beautifully written and so well deserved.🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thank you thank you thank you thank you @writerkmc for creating this universe and gifting us these characters. I'm definitely going miss them until next reread time.🩷🩶🤍🩵

Okay but, even if you do go find and read Dracula instead of waiting for the emails (and who could blame you!), you can /still/ experience it with the rest of us in real time! As someone who's read it before, trust me when I say that having to wait days to hear back from our newest friends is such a different vibe from the immediacy of reading it in novel form. Plus the memes.
I was going to write a serious answer to this, I had one drafted in my head, but now my only thought is a question:
How would I measure my reading progress on Goodreads if I'm reading the book in two different formats at two different speeds at the same time?
