Grease. Rise of the Pink Ladies has me in a death grip chokehold right now. I really had no clue what to expect and was just watching it on the side while I did other work. Around episode 3 I was completely enamored. There's so much going on and it feels like most of the effects are practical. I've worked in musical theater for the past 4 years and it's just so wonderful to see how much thought and care was put into the design of the show. Like holy shit I've never been so compelled to become a YT video essay person. I might do a rewatch once I move and pick out all of the things that I loved but we'll see. If you haven't seen it go pirate it, maybe sign a petition to bring it back to another platform idk
Re- binging Anne with an E and still crying at every episode with all of the squishy emotions and now Iβm mad all over again that it wasnβt renewed πΈ π± π«
Why do I still act shocked when they cancel tv shows? Itβs not even just Netflix anymore, though they are the latest to cancel with Lockwood and Co. The CW is even worse because they literally just cancelled every single show worth watching. And then any show that surprisingly has been renewed is going to be delayed because of the strike (which honestly good for them lol) kinda sucks but itβs reasonable right? So now that brings the question, are we actually going to get any new or renewed shows this year?
