so @dark-haired-hamlet made this amazing edit of tchaikovsky over the final battle from les mis 2012, and while i think it fits fantastically with the tone of the film, i wanted to make an edit with a classical piece that really emphasized the desperation of the scene and the inherent horror in seeing all of your friends gunned down by an overwhelming force. considering shostakovich string quartet number 8 is terror in musical notation imho, i decided to throw that over the scene and i think it really works to stress how awful the fall of the barricade is as a scene :^)
