Javelinas at my old feeder. Hunting is awesome but many ranches round abouts have killed off their javelinas because they eat under the deer feeders and scare the deer. People are surprised that I have any around. So for me its 'how to keep the pesky deer from eating my javelina food!' Javelinas tend to have 2 "reds" or a set of twins. See one in the pic.

~~~Monsoon Winds~~~

This piece was inspired by a dream I had last night. The sky was glum, then blue, the sun was bright and warm, the winds were blowing hard and the blue sea swelled.

I didn’t know how I was going to put the dream scenes into words, but I did the best I could. The way it unfolded reminds me of one of my favorite authors and teachers, Eckhart Tolle. I quote him from a recent talk he recently did, which you can read below.

Be still and calm in the midst of a storm like I was in the sleeping dream. I want nothing more than to be calm and still in the midsts of my own waking dreams of storms. I been practicing it for years and have had many mini tests. Success can be a bit hit and miss, but I always meditate being calm and still in a major catastrophe.

“…uncompromising behind that statement is the Zen masters uncompromising acceptance of the present moment. The different approaches to the acceptance, you can accept in a yin way, "It’s all fine as it is” or you can accept in a yang way, “It’s perfectly fine.” There’s nothing wrong with it.“

Day 34: “Be still, and know that I am God” Suppose to be as a child together with our dad then we’re inside the mall filled with crowds during sale day. However, he might forgot to buy or to check out something, and our dad tells us that he wants us to be left behind somewhere safe like in front of the frontdesk. We are waiting for our dad to come back, but he told us to stay there and don’t go anywhere that will cause us to get lost on our way. And trully enough, he came back. The example above is how we trust God like our dads that He will come back. For now, He puts us somewhere safer place, sometimes on the “valley of the shadow of death”. Crowds signifies the works of the enemy and the enemy itself. If we go through the crowds, there’s a high chances that we’re going to be lost. However, while we’re here in this world, know that He is God, that is so powerful, awesome, and our provider. He also teaches us that always seek His face and His presence, and know God and His nature, for He is holy, just, and righteous that He cannot spare us from His punishment when we sin, unless we come to Him, admit that we sinned, and ask forgiveness, He will teach us His ways and to turn away from sinning, and change us from glory to Glory. While we’re here, take refuge in His presence and trust Him even more that He will work in our midst. Ask everything on Him according to our faith and He will supply our needs. On that way, He teaches us to be more contented, and always depend on Him for everything. Lastly, listen and obey His instructions for us not only to keep going, but for our safety of our souls and physical bodies as well. God knows even more greater than us, our wisdom and strength will fail, but if we listen and obey, He will gives us His strength and His wisdom to to His will.
