I feel like everything happening in the time skip was definitely not talked about beforehand. Not Taylor being out of prison, not gothcleats being canon, not Norm having an existential crisis, nothing. That to me is the best part of dndads. Matt and Beth throwing things out that are wholesome and most the time stupid, Freddie’s commitment to the bit, Will traumatizing everyone and Anthony having no reasonable control over any of it.
