Nicolas Mortelmans is a passionate sitar player and multi-instrumentalist from Antwerp, Belgium. Nicolas is a fusion sitar player and student of Indian classical music. In 2010, he bought his first sitar and left for India. He fell in love with the mystical sounds of the sitar and immersed himself in it. For the next 7 years, he went to India every winter to study the traditional way with different sitar masters. Since 2017, he has been trained by the world-renowned Anoushka Shankar. Live, Nicolas plays an electric sitar with which he tries to build a bridge between his recent love for Indian music and his roots in rock, jazz and electronica. Nicolas has an open mind and literally any musical style or tradition can inspire him. His concerts can be both meditative and explosive. MĀYĀ is his debut album as a leader of his own band. Renata Votalen. half human, half pantoran jedi from alderaan during the Republic and Clone Wars. The first Jedi Prophet of an age, and the last one until the order is resurrected. spends most of her time at the Temple studying kyber crystals and receiving debilitating prophetic visions. She wields a magenta saber, but is averse to violence.

Yhamonet. Human from Tatooine, descended from the ancient line of Tatooine's human ancestors. A falconress hunter and next in line to lead her people, she meets Shmi after Shmi escapes from bondage the first time and is welcomed into her tribe. Her and Shmi fall in love and get married, and when Shmi is taken again by slavers, she leaves her people to join a Tusken tribe in order to cross the barren wastes to find her again. basically shmi is a demigod and a lesbian and this is her wife.

Bettan. Bettan is also a jedi during the republic and the clone wars. She is a dedicated Jedi consular that spends a lot of time working as a diplomat with her master. She is fascinated by history, especially the history of the Jedi Order itself. Her first solo assignment is to be the dedicated bodyguard of Queen Kavita after her father, the former King's, death, and helps her to solve the mystery surrounding it (and also maybe falls in love. basically jedi and monarch forbidden bodyguard romance)

Inai. The First Jedi, the Thread of the Force, the Bridge between the Whills. He is a farmer from Jedha who receives a vision that sends him on a galaxy wide quest to commune with the Whills of the Force and unite his people in order to stop a galactic threat. He wields the first white saber and establishes the Jedi order. (also making ocs for his merry band of misfits ala avatar style its so much fun for real)

Zeth Vizsla. A mirialan mandalorian that rescued Paz as a child and adopted him into his clan. The tribe's Beroya and trained both Paz and Din in the Way. Sacrificed himself for the tribe. (dont want to say too much because he will be in my paz fic when i eventually post it)

近づけば近づくだけ傷付くから誰も近づかないでほしかった。触れなければ綺麗、透明な好きだけでいい、誰もいないと死にたくなる、触れることで分かることもある。人間は魅力的な爆弾で、誤って火をつけてたらわたしもあなたも傷だらけになる。それなのに、穏やかさを取り戻して居られる日は大概誰かの優しさに救ってもらった日で、22歳のわたしはまだ、ひとりでに生きることも眠ることもたまに上手くできなかった。

人が想像するよりわたしは全然普通の女の子で、そして、全然ままなっていない。まず優しくないし、つかれて激辛ばっかり食べる。薄化粧で仕事へ行き、皿も洗濯物も溜めてばかり。機嫌の悪い日なんてざらで、ふわふわもにこにこもあんまりしていない気がする。普通じゃないみたいな生活から普通みたいな生活へ舵を切ってみた結果、自分の中の宝石みたいな部分がどんどんくぐもっていき、逆に社会生活には慣れてきて、そんな自分がゆるせなくて、でも周りの人には許してほしかった。ダメダメになっては泣いてばかりだった。21歳から22歳への生活は語るには足らない。語ることすら難しいから。

まだ何も書き始めていない頃、尊敬する友人へ「生活風景を撮って欲しい」という漠然としたお願いをした。もう全部どうでも良くなって、今の自分自身を鏡に映すみたいにしてほしかったのだ。今なら曝け出せる、恥ずかしくない。打ち合わせで何枚か写真を撮ってもらった後、彼の提案でカメラを借り、周りの大好きな人達にも写真を撮ってもらった。その結果、真っ暗だと思っていた自分の生活へぽつりぽつりと光がさすようになっていった。今こうして眺めていると笑ったり泣いたり不機嫌になったりをずーっと続けているらしく、わたしはわたしが思っているより感情そのものみたいな顔をしていて、気楽そうでうるさかった。幾つかの瞳達、わたしの呼吸が乱れるのを微笑んで見守ってくれる人の居ること。自分には何もないと思っていたけれど、気がつけば、両手いっぱいに大切なものばかりだった。

自分の脆弱性を愛しているけれど、凄く憎たらしく思うこともある。もう少しくらい上手く生きていたいけれど、でもそれはわたしではないんじゃないか、満ち足りた状態で言葉なんて出てくるのだろうか。誰かに伝えたい、分かってもらえなくていいから心に引っかかって欲しい。忘れられて、思い出せないほどわたしから遠くに行ってしまったとしても、心に引っかかっていた、過去に投げかけた言葉が不意に浮かんでくるように瞬間だけ想ってくれればそれでいい。一方通行のラブレターみたいだ。

わたしはにっき、家ではひとり、ハムスターを飼って名前をつけている。淋しがりで意外と狡賢くて、誰と居てもやけにのんびり。そんな自分があんまり好きじゃないけれど、でもとっても大切なんだ。ああつらかったあ、笑っちゃった！みたいな、上手く生きてけない日々です。でも、そんなもんだから、たまにこうして気持ちを溢しながら生活を、文筆を続けていこうとおもうの。吸って吐いて眠って、気持ちだけは心に留めて、消化不良になる前に、またどこかで。

« UNE NUIT » (1h 30min)

Un film d’Alex Lutz / Scénario : Alex Lutz et Karine Viard / Avec Alex Lutz, Karin Viard, Jérôme Pouly…

Nous y sommes allés samedi. C’est la performance des deux comédiens qui nous a le plus séduits. Par contre, dans la seconde moitié du film, certains détails nous ont échappé ce qui fait que nous n’avons pas tout à fait compris la fin. Si Woddy Allen avait eu le script entre les mains, il aurait sûrement fait le film qu’imaginait Alex Lutz car le scénario d’Alex Lutz et de Karine Viard - ils l’ont écrit à deux, est par moments bancal. Des longueurs de ci de là… Heureusement il y a aussi le talent des deux têtes d’affiche. Ils incarnent leurs personnages avec une intensité et une justesse remarquables. Filmés de près, leurs visages deviennent une fenêtre ouverte sur leurs émotions les plus profondes. D’une sincérité et d’une transparence saisissantes, leurs jeux insufflent une crédibilité et une authenticité rares à leurs personnages. Nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir vu ce film mais, encore une fois, faisant partie d’une des grandes faiblesses du cinéma français, dommage que le scénario soit mal-abouti.

Lisez ci-dessous ce qu’en ont pensé les critiques du « Masque et la Plume ». Nous sommes quand même plus proches des deux premiers avis que des deux derniers.

Nous lui avons donné tous les deux ❤️❤️❤️ cœurs sur 5.

 CRITIQUE – « Une nuit » : la très belle rencontre d'Alex Lutz, mais d'une banalité extrême ?

Pour son troisième film, le réalisateur, interprète et humoriste Alex Lutz signe une comédie romantique dans laquelle il partage l'affiche avec Karin Viard. Ils tombent amoureux suite à un accrochage dans le métro et une partie de plaisir dans un photomaton. Le regard du Masque est mitigé.

Le film commence dans le métro parisien à une heure de pointe et de cohue. Nathalie (Karin Viard) bouscule par mégarde Aymeric (Alex Lutz), ils s'engueulent devant des passagers médusés. Puis finalement, ils sortent de la rame pour aller faire l'amour dans la cabine d'un photomaton. Les deux ont des enfants et ils ont une nuit, pas plus pour former, croit-on, un couple dans la ville silencieuse. Ils marchent, ils parlent, beaucoup, ils s'introduisent dans une soirée privée, ils essaient même un club échangiste. Ils dînent dans un resto chinois et ils partent en courant à la fin pour ne pas payer.

Le film a été tourné très rapidement en quatorze jours.

Eva Bettan salue une très belle réussite.

La critique ciné de France Inter a particulièrement été saisie par la rencontre des deux personnages, de ces deux personnalités qui semblent avoir beaucoup en commun, sans se connaître, et ne plus faire qu'un à la sortie du métro : « C'est parce qu'il a été tourné en quatorze jours qu'il faut le prendre comme une tentative, quelque chose qui n'est pas totalement réussi, mais qui a quelque chose d'intéressant. Quand on voit apparaître Karin Viard, qui monte par l'escalator du métro avec le visage défait, tourmenté. Lui aussi de son côté. Simplement leurs deux visages et ce quelque chose de violent qu'il y a entre eux en fait un film totalement réussi ».

Xavier Leherpeur totalement séduit.

Xavier très emballé par le rapport à l'urgence que suppose le film, à travers lequel Alex Lutz révèle une très grande maturité cinématographique : « Le film repose sur ces quatorze jours de tournage qu'a demandé le film sans possibilité de revenir en arrière. À part la fin, le film m'emballe dans ses moments de contemplation, de mélancolie, où la musique semble stagner. C'est un film d'urgence, d'amour, de parole, par lequel il arrive à joindre les mots et les corps qui circulent jusqu'au bout. C'est un film que j'aime beaucoup ».

Pour Pierre Murat, c'est d'une banalité extrême !

Un dialogue que le journaliste pour Télérama a trouvé quelque peu dérisoire : « Ils s'échangent une suite de clichés. Ce n'est pas possible de dire autant de banalités. Ce qui est bien, c'est quand ils se taisent. Pourtant, Karin Viard est une très grande comédienne et j'aime beaucoup Alex Lutz. Une première séquence grotesque quand ils s'engueulent dans le métro ».

Si Nicolas Schaller pointe un certain raté, il salue un Alex Lutz prometteur.

Le journaliste pour L'Obs a trouvé le film moins réussi que « Guy » (2018). « Une nuit » est victime de son propre dispositif basé sur des clichés : « J'ai trouvé intéressant chez Alex Lutz, ce côté un peu expérimentateur populaire qui va chercher des vérités derrière le côté atelier d'acteur, le dispositif joue ici malheureusement contre le film. On a presque envie de le revoir pour vérifier si le film tient vraiment sur une deuxième durée.

Sinon, il y a de vrais moments de grâce, des belles scènes… Ce n'est pas complètement abouti, mais Alex Lutz a vraiment le mérite d'être suivi ».

Melodifestivalen final tops: 2002

10. No Hay Nada Mas- Javiera: apart from a couple exceptions, I don’t tend to be a huge fan of these Latin infused songs; just never have been my style. She has good vocals but her voice, along with the structure, the lyrics, the music and pretty much everything else, is just really mellow to me. A song either has to make me want to dance so hard or cry until I die, no in between. This is in between.

9. The One That You Need- Friends: again, very mellow song, without a solid structure, just weak and boring. Their 2001 entry was somewhat similar, but it at least had a catchy, well-rememberable hook. This one’s just annoying. 

8. Sista Andetaget- Jan Johnson: decent ballad, I like his voice and the fact that it’s in Swedish, but there isn’t really anything setting it apart from all the other ballads we hear every single year. I want to listen to a song and realize there’s a reason for it to have been written, but this sounds like one of those songs that were written just because they “had to”. Just took a mold and filled it and submitted it to SVT.

7. Big Time Party- Hanna & Lina: honestly, this is really growing on me. I do not want to like it, because the vocals are... interesting at times, the lyrics are cringy, and the whole song is just a little weird, but I do have to admit it’s incredibly catchy and honestly a lot of fun. Yeah, it’s random, but it is cute! Also I love Lina Hedlund- anything that involves her I’m going to love. And she and Hanna definitely have a lot of charisma and energy that add to the song itself. 

6. Vem E De Du Vill Ha- Kikki, Bettan & Lotta: who can deny this is iconic? Like Sista Andetaget it does somewhat give me that mold effect- but it is a mold that I like, so I can take it. You have three of the most iconic Swedish (Norwegian) Eurovision representatives, including a Eurovision WINNER, with a song written by Thomas G:Son- what more could you ask for?

5. Hon Kommer Med Solsken- Östen Med Resten: honestly, such a cute song. It’s so nice, catchy and sweet, gets me smiling like an idiot any time I listen to it. It’s something of a mild song, not being necessarily something you dance to, but I like it because instead of being boring it’s like something you can put in the background and enjoy discreetly while you go about your day. 

4. Kom Och Ta Mig- Brandsta City Släckers: the definition of iconic! Why are they dressed as firemen? I have no idea, but I love it! This honestly defines something of what I love to see in Melodifestivalen- catchy, fun, in Swedish, silly while also high quality. 

3. Adrenaline- Mèndez: yeah, this is the exception I was talking about earlier. I really like the rap verses, and the fact that it doesn’t necessarily sound like your typical Spanish summer hit, and it’s rather catchy, a bit dark, very upbeat and sustained. Again, mixing it with rap also contributed to making this different from what you’d expect- and I love it.

2. Never Let It Go- Afro-Dote: what a deserved winner, oh my God! Afro-Dite are such a power trio- they have immaculate vocals, energy and charisma through the roof, and I absolutely adore how you can feel their different personalities coming through their performance and working together to create something immensely enjoyable. The song itself is also really good, catchy and exciting, really full and masterful, with a wonderful structure. I love the spoken part too!

1. Världen Utanför- Barbados: I’m not exactly the biggest fan of Barbados, maybe because dansband is not really my genre. I of course, like any sane person, enjoy Kom Hem, but in general I tend to find their songs- like dansband songs in general- very mellow and boring. This one, though, is fast, catchy, slightly dark and exciting. Magnus has a beautiful, dark and rich voice and it fits a song like this so incredibly well. Nah I am just obsessed with this song, I love the structure with the instrumental intro, the chill verses and upbeat chorus, the bridge with the high note and key change. It is a really typical structure- but it works wonderfully! Honestly can’t comprehend how this only came fourth- I do think Afro-Dite’s win was 100% deserved, but Barbados should have at least come second.
