Shout out to the people who wake up a woman and go to bed a man. The the people who wear lipstick and have a beard. To the people whose gender is complicated. To the people who need a minute to think about it. To the people who don't really care. To the people who never stop thinking about it. To the people whose gender and sexuality are the same thing. To the people who like people in a way they can't explain. To the people who don't like anything. To the people with a thousand crushes. To the people who never had one.

There’s not enough Timantha appreciation
Tumblr media
Like look at my buck toothed princess I love her so much
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I headcanon Timmy as bi gender pronouns she/he, and she uses magic to physically change, whenever she feels like it, and not specifically when she’s feeling masculine or feminine since he kind of feels both all the time
(either way he still goes by Timmy, and uses Timantha as a name for when she doesn’t want to get recognized by her friends)

i don’t think i’ve ever been so obsessed so fast with a character in my life as i am with jordan li. they’re just all we needed! i feel like they mean so much. and i looove that they can literally switch forms! i feel like it will make people who were ignorant about bi-gender people actually understand it more. sometimes she’s a girl, sometimes he’s a boy. it’s as simple as that, but people don’t seem to understand it. even among gen v watchers you can see it. like the endless discussions about what pronouns are okay to use (answer is any of them, obviously) or what gender they prefer (they don’t have a preference, OBVIOUSLY). but still, i think that character already did so much!!! and as gen v grows, i hope more people can see it and understand them. jordan li is so so important.

The Pride of June: Bi-gender
Tumblr media
The Bigender Flag is the Flag used to describe someone whose gender is ‘double’ or having two genders. These people can identify as male and female. These people will have pronouns like He/She or She/Him, with some putting the preferred pronoun first!
Fun History Fact: Māhū were people in Hawaii described as someone inbetween or having both masculinity and femininity
Tumblr User: @your-bigender-big-brother
Media Character: Skip (Rock and Riot) and Papa Titan (The Owl House) are both Bi-gender
Why the colors? While the bi-gender flag’s colors were never explained, people have two theories as to what they mean. This was taken from an article about Bi-gender people:
“Though [the colors were never explained], it is assumed that pink represents femininity/womanhood, and blue represents masculinity/manhood. The varying shades that meet white in the middle are most likely representative of the nonbinary nature of the bi-gender identity. It has also been stated that the pink, purple, white, and blue Bi-gender Pride flag represents different gender identities, with the white stripe in the middle inspired by the Transgender Pride Flag. We have presented two universally accepted versions of the flag's color meanings below:
Version 1: The top purple is for all kinds of good relationships, Pink / blue stripes are for presentation and the feeling of your identities, The white is for your unique bi-gender experience, how it feels and what it's like. It's also for understanding each other in this community, The bottom purple is about self-respect, pride, and being true to yourself.
Version 2: Pink Stripes = Femininity, Purple Stripes = A combination of male and female genders, White Stripe = Non-binary genders, Blue Stripes = Masculinity”
Where can I find the calendar? The calendar is my pinned post on my blog @hecateisalesbian! This will be occurring all throughout June, and tags such as #The Pride of June and #PoJ Project can be used to find my post

I’m tired of people acting like nonbinary people don’t exist!
I only ever hear about transmen or transwomen, yes I know they need to be talked about too!
But I think nonbinary people should have the spotlight for a minute now!
Even with a 16 yr old nonbinary person murdered they are still being talked over!!
We could also use more positive things about nonbinary people not just negative shit all the time!
I’m also talking about other genders like genderqueer, agender, bi-gender and lots more!

i might be bi-gender?
I like being a girl. i like being seen as a woman. i genuinely get euphoria when dressed as a woman and my boobs look good and my hips make a dress flare. i feel good about being a woman. the she pronouns don't upset me nearly as much as i think they should, and my old name doesn't feel as gross as it once did. i have fine, soft skin and my leg hair isn't dark, and my hair is soft and my face is feminine. its good to be feminine.
but i also have a boy in me. the boy in me likes that i have a tiny, barely noticable mustache unless pointed out by a mean family member about how it makes me look masculine, and the boy in me glows. i wear my binder and my large chest doesn't flatten, but it looks like pecs, and the boy in me glows. i call my self a boys name and the boy in me glows. i say im a son, a brother, an uncle, and the boy in me glows.
but the girl in me scowls. she hates this. this masculinity. she doesn't want to be hairy or have a flat chest. she hates that the binder takes away my hourglass figure. the boy in me hates being so fair skinned and soft. he wants to be muscular and strong, and she wants to be curvy. to give one something is to take away the other, and i hate this war.
the boy isn't seen in my female body, and no one will ever see the boy until the girl is killed. but i don't want to kill the girl, i want to be her and be him and be both and why can't i be both? why do the things they want oppose each other?
the only thing they can agree on is that they/them is better than one or the other, bc using he or she neglects the other, and this is the only thing that isn't upsetting.
