MATTHEW‬ ‭28‬:‭16‬-‭20‬ ‭‬‬
”Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him—but some of them doubted! Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new…

I just wanted y’all to know:
Research shows that around the same time as the deluge from the Bible, there is also stories from different cultures and beliefs from around the world, telling about a huge flood. Which means that most likely there was a big flood. And even though it probably didn’t cover the whole planet leaving only Noah and he’s boat, there might have been a man named Noah sailing around, in the belief that the people onboard was the only people left on earth, and that they had every kind of animal with them.
And that’s something I find really cool.

Sometimes I wished to God I was never born because existence was a huge burden to me, but he comforted me and now I wait for the return of jesus so I can be in peace with him.
But anyways....i should share a Bible verse that makes me feel better. Maybe it'll help someone too
............................
Psalms 37:1-2
Do not be upset because of evil men Or envious of wrongdoers. They will quickly wither like grass And shrivel like green new grass.
.............
Actually the entire chapter was really nice so I recommend going to go read it, very hopeful and comforting. Also really makes me glad that he's our God. A righteous one that wants his children to be at peace. That's nice so please do go read the whole chapter and share it to your people.

I once read that if God has you waiting . . . He has you in good company. The point was made how Joseph had to wait, Abram (Abraham) had to wait. David had to wait. The children of Israel had to wait on the promised king. In fact, the promised seed of Genesis 3:15 didn't arrive until 42 generations later . . .
This with God is matter of faith. It is a matter of trust and belief. It's about holding onto God. It's about hope.
But, so many live without hope in this dying world. So many have thrown in the towel in various ways and it displays in their lifestyle. . . But God wants to be our strength. He wants us to come to know him.
There's a reason why God's word contain these words: "AND IT CAME TO PASS."
Hold on. Keep the faith. What God has said is what he meant. God dwells in eternity where time is not a factor to him. I once read that God wants us to have patience because we were created to be timeless. . . Be true. Endure. Hold on. ☝️

Jesus calling Canaanite woman a dog seems to be His most controversial take. And I've thought about His words a lot and I realized something:
Remember when He called Nathanael/Bartholomew? He said: "I saw you under the fig tree". It's never explained what He meant but judging from Nathanael's reaction it must have been something both very significant and very private to him, something only God Himself would know of. The Chosen did a great job portraying it, and I totally headcanon it this way, but that's all this is - a headcanon, as it was never explained.
I think with Canaanite woman it must have been the same. The Gospel writers knew the words, but not so much the context. Maybe she was a prideful woman, a Karen of sorts, whom Jesus wanted to admit and realize that she cares about her daughter more than about her own pride. Maybe her daughter brought the possession on herself, maybe she made some rituals or some pacts with demons and so sad and poor Jesus wanted to let her know that He can't save someone who refuses to be saved - but in the end couldn't say no to the mother's love. Maybe it was a show for the disciples, who were discriminating against pagans and calling them dogs. Maybe Jesus wanted to show them what their lack of compassion looks like and how horrible it is.
A great detail is that Jesus doesn't even use the word "dogs", He says "puppies", because of course He does, the sweetest cinnamon roll that He is He couldn't call His beloved children a slur. Maybe He even made a little pause that sealed the fate of His so-called attempted bigotry: "😤 I can't take food from children and give it to... to... puppies... 🥺" Or maybe He was heartbroken to say it in a tearful "I'm so sorry, I can't..." way, so much so that the whole Holy Trinity changed Their Godly plans and gave in to a mother's begging.
Anyway, I'm sure there was more to it. Because I know Jesus enough to be sure He would never tell anyone "You're a pagan and a dog, I don't care and I don't want to help you." After all, being a Savior and being able to show His love makes Him the happiest in the world ❤️

The prophet Habakkuk began his book by questioning the wisdom of God in the face of the problem of evil. Thus the book continued with a dialogue between the prophet and God, the prophet questioned why God had raised the Babylonians as executors of the divine punishment, being the Babylonians an impious and arrogant nation. The Lord in his wisdom replied to the prophet Habakkuk that all the enemies of Israel should sooner or later give an account of their sins, including the Babylonians. God's response was a call for patience, meekness, and humility. Then the prophet Habakkuk condemned the Babylonians for their sins, like the idolatry and the violence, and in a similar style to Jesus announced five misfortunes for the impious: "Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion!" Habakkuk 2:6. "Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest on high" Habakkuk 2:9. "Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by injustice!" Habakkuk 2:12. "Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk" Habakkuk 2:15. "Woe to him who says to wood, ´Come to life!´ Or to lifeless stone, ´Wake up!´" Habakkuk 2:19. In other words, according to the prophet those who put their trust only in the apparent goods such as power or money build on foundations that can fail, so were his words: "Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death, they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and swallowed many peoples" Habakkuk 2:5. The unfortunate life exists; and in a world given over to sin and lies, the prophet set the Babylonians as an example not to be followed. The prophets, like Habakkuk, due to their devotion to God, sought with their teachings that men live with wisdom, but the freedom to choose is in men.

okay but like. I just had the weirdest thought about that ‘don’t look I’m naked’ comic. Which is that that’s essentially the same thing Adam and Eve did after they ate the fruit of knowledge of good&evil. So I feel like the theological implications of that could kneecap Gabe if he doesn’t think V1 is a being with free will.
yeah ok. i dunno man. is this anything
((side note. this isn’t necessarily meant to be in-character or story-accurate or take place at any particular point in time, just a way to explore some Thoughts. i was also imagining more that V1’s words aren't actually spoken, more like Gabriel’s more articulate interpretation of whatever garbled mechanical noise V1 is using to communicate. I think an angel could do that.))

MATTHEW‬ ‭24‬:‭4‬-‭51‬ ‭‬‬
”Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the…

Genesis 3
Tumblr media
A very well known story from the Bible that many people, even if they didn’t grow up with the Bible, know about.
I made them very cartoonish because I just found reading the section to be a chain of blaming. I have heard many just blame Eve but honestly when you think about it, both Adam AND Eve should have remembered God said no to the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
But when reading what Eve said, it is close to what God had command but clearly not close enough for her to be sure and instead take in the words of the serpent instead. Makes me want to be sure that if I say I believe in God, then I want to be able to reason why and be clear and according to His word to.

Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. - Revelation 2:20‭-‬22
We can't dictate how we want to be used by God. . . All we can do is obey him. When one said to another go elsewhere and speak God's words because your words aren't welcomed here, he had a certain response:
Then Amaziah said to Amos: “Go, you seer! Flee to the land of Judah. There eat bread, And there prophesy. But never again prophesy at Bethel, For it is the king’s sanctuary, And it is the royal residence.” Then Amos answered, and said to Amaziah: “I was no prophet, Nor was I a son of a prophet, But I was a sheepbreeder And a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the Lord took me as I followed the flock, And the Lord said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’ - Amos 7:12‭-‬15
God holds both the offender accountable, the one or persons who's actually committing sin and wickedness and, in the church, he even holds those accountable who permits or tolerates them who's doing such wicked, nefarious acts in authority. One can read on Jezebel starting in I Kings 19 to identify what's the Jezebel spirit, which is false, worldly teaching, manipulation of persons (extortioners, bribers, witchcraft - controlling spirits) and murder (reviling, railers, slanderers, or literal) in the church. God holds those who even permits such ones who do such acts of wickedness in the church accountable also, and he even tells them to repent (Revelation 2:16, 22).
It's not scriptural to just pray 🙏 for these in authority in such instances (you won't find that in the word). God wants us to rectify (Matthew 18:15-17; I Timothy 5:19-20) or flee from situations as those (I Corinthians 5:11,13; I Timothy 6:3-5; Romans 16:17-18; II Timothy 3:1-5).
Take heed to who and what you're suffering (allowing or permitting) in the church, for God even holds them accountable who do so.
