My four-year-old grandson sat on my lap and patted my bald head, studying it intently. “Papa,” he asked, “What happened to your hair?” “Oh,” I laughed, “I lost it over the years.” His face turned thoughtful: “That’s too bad,” he responded. “I’ll have to give you some of mine.”
I smiled at his compassion and pulled him close for a hug. Reflecting later on his love for me in that cherished moment also caused me to ponder God’s selfless, generous love.
G. K. Chesterton wrote: “We have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.” By this he meant that the “Ancient of Days” (Daniel 7:9) is untainted by sin’s decay—God is ageless and loves us exuberantly with a love that never falters or fades. He’s fully willing and able to fulfill the promise He made to His people in Isaiah 46: “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you” (v. 4).
Five verses later He explains, “I am God, and there is none like me” (v. 9). The great “I am” (Exodus 3:14) loves us so deeply that He went to the extreme of dying on the cross to bear the full weight of our sin, so that we might turn to Him and be free of our burden and gratefully worship Him forever!

Daily Meditation: Glorifying God in Our Lives
"For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Corinthians 6:20)
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love." (John 15:5-9)
"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)
"I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore." (Psalm 86:12) - A Walk In The Garden Devotions

I AM Willing (A Letter from The LORD)
Luke 5:12-13 In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
Today as I meditate on God's Word. He gave me a message for YOU. Yes, you. The LORD wants me to tell you...
"My Dearest child, I AM willing. I AM willing to heal you (Matt. 5:13). I AM willing to set you free from your guilt and shame (Isa. 54:4). I AM willing to free you from addiction (1 Cor. 10:13) from your anxious heart (1 Pet.5:7), and from heartbreak (Ps. 147:3). I AM willing to provide for your need (Phil. 4:19), I AM willing to do everything and anything that you ask in My Name as long as it is good for you (John 14:13).
But in order to do that, "YOU" must be willing (to will, to desire) too. You must be willing to ask ME (Matt. 7:7). Willing to obey ME just like what Simon Peter did when I asked him to let down his net (Luke 5:5-6), and in the same way, be willing to Follow me (Matt. 5:11). You see, The Father already knows what You need, but He wants you to have the will to talk to Him and ask Him personally. (Matt. 6:8) And If I do not give your desire, do not be discourage, for I know the thoughts I think toward you, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope. (Jer. 29:11), Always remember that NOT SOME, but ALL things work together for good to those who love me and are called by My Name (Romans 8:28). I Love You (Jn. 3:16), and I AM willing."
Let me pray for you. "Lord Jesus, we thank you for your willingness. Your willingness to love us, willingness to die for us and redeem us from our sins. Holy Spirit, I ask that you touch the heart of whoever is reading this letter from You. I pray that You talk to this child of yours, and let him/her know that these words come from You. May your child who's reading this, have the will for a deeper and more intimate relationship with you. Let all the Glory and Honor be given to YOU alone, Oh Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen."

PRAYER THAT ATTRACTS MORE BLESSINGS FROM GOD
Heavenly Father, I want to take the time to thank you, Lord. I know I don’t always stop to thank you for answering my prayers, or for the blessings you have given me. And for that, God, I am so sorry. I love you so much, Lord. and I will continue to worship you, praise you, and exalt you on high. I will continue to walk by faith, not sight, for I know that you hear and answer my prayers. I know…

Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come…

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 NIV
What does seeking God look like in your life? Feelings of guilt used to sometimes drive my desire to spend time with God in prayer and Bible reading. I thought I was letting God down if I didn't make this a priority. Honestly, I think God must feel disappointed when we neglect Him. After all, He tells us in His Word that He is a jealous God. I'm jealous for time with the people I love, too. We need to realize God doesn't want us to come to Him out of obligation but out of desire. When you and I see God for who He really is, we will desire Him. Period. Oh, Father, open our eyes to who You are! Write, pray, or reflect on this today. Tell God that you want to know Him and love Him more. Cry out to Him for more of His presence in your life.
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6 NIV
