Do you know that

How did the body of Kabir leave the world and go to Satlok?

Kabir Parmeshwar went from Maghar to Satlok with his bod.

Fragrant flowers were found in place of his body

As per the command of God Kabir, those flowers were taken equally by both Hindu and Muslim religions and made two memorabilia with a distance of 100 feet in Maghar which still exists today.

This is an example of mutual brotherhood and goodwill between the two religions Hindus and Muslims.

Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

The Black Curse

Our ancestors, the Israelites were a complaining and disobedient people. In Deuteronomy 28 it states that if they obeyed God then they would be blessed but if they disobeyed him then they and their descendants (us) would be cursed forever. The whole chapter should be read because you’ll see A LOT of what our people went through and are going through now. I’m going to spilt up all the ones I’m going to put into 2 or 3 posts. I dont like long posts and I don’t want others to have to read to read it all either💖

I know it’s been a while since I wrote anything. I’ve just been uploading bible verses lately. We all go through times in life where we feel like we are stuck in a rut, writer’s block (for me). These days it’s hard to find inspiration in anything. There is negativity everywhere you look. I honestly do not know where this blog is headed this morning, but hang in there with me.

Just this morning I was watching a news clip about this man and woman getting into over a dog not being on a leash. It was obvious the man was the one recording and had started recording way into the altercation. There is always more to the story that people want you to see. Supposedly this woman has now been fired from her job over this incident and that is something I do NOT agree with.

You have to dig to find out the rest of the story. Why are we so quick to judge people when we don’t know the rest of the story? The whole story? What inspires people to want to act like fools for 15 minutes of fame? Trust me when I say it’s not worth it. The internet and social media, there are pros and cons to it. But it gives people the opportunity to be ‘keyboard bullies’. Ask yourself, would you say that to that person to their face? If the answer to that is no, then don’t be typing it!

If you think you’re about to ruin someone’s life with a viral video, just stop it. It’s not worth it because you reap what you sow. For some of you, that’s called KARMA! What inspires you to be vengeful? Because that’s what that is. That man and that woman in the dog video from New York were both in the wrong. If she would’ve just put her dog on the leash and walked away, nothing would’ve transpired. If the man hadn’t have threatened her dog, nothing else would’ve transpired.

Let’s talk about people and face masks for a moment. Now, granted, I personally believe making people wear face masks is wrong. It should be a choice. But when you go into a private business, if they tell you that you need to wear a mask to stay, just put the dang mask on and handle your business. Some people would say that it’s unconstitutional. Are they right? To a point, yes, they are correct. It’s not a LAW, and it should never be a law. But, should you do it out of respect, absolutely! If those essential workers have to wear a mask for 8 hours out of respect for you, then the 20-40 minutes you might be in their store, it’s not going to kill you to wear a mask.

If you’re in a store and you see a worker with their mask lowered, think for a moment and realize that they have to wear that mask for 5-8 hours and sometimes they just need to lower it briefly to get some good, fresh oxygen in their lungs. When you’re wearing a mask, you’re breathing in carbon dioxide which is not good for you. It’s not healthy, IMO. I worked in the medical field for several years. It doesn’t take a dummy to know wearing a mask for a long period of time is actually bad for you!

But, until this POLITICIZED PANDEMIC is over, be respectful. Those essential workers are getting verbally abused by customers. Customers are being verbally abused by other customers. What inspires you to be a jerk? Because if you’re verbally abusing others over a face mask, you’re being a jerk. This isn’t about you. It’s about all of us. And, yes, I know some of us have medical issues that warrants not wearing face masks. Truth be told, I’m one of those people. But, when I’m a work, I pull up my big-girl panties and I wear my mask because I love my job.

What inspires you to be disrespectful? Are you selfish? What inspires you to be self-centered? What inspires you to curse out an essential worker just because something didn’t go quite in your favor? What inspires you to be disrespectful to a co-worker because things aren’t going quite right at work?

Do you want my answer? My answer may not be your answer. So, here’s my answer…

FAITH; this is my answer. Do you have faith? Did you lose your faith? Have you ever not had faith in your life? Where is your faith?

You see, I am an essential worker. I have been cursed out because I had to tell folks that they can’t come into the store without a mask. I’ve had moments of frustration with co-workers. I have to wear a mask at work even though I despise it. I cannot stand wearing my mask. It hinders my breathing, which is not good for me because I have asthma. I have Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I work 5-8 hour shifts at my job. I hurt every dang day of my life. But do you hear me complaining about it? NOPE! Why is that? FAITH. I have faith in GOD. My faith is unwavering. It’s the firmest it’s ever been in my life, right now. And, it just keeps growing.

Did I ever in a millions years think I’d love being back in retail after leaving it 16 years ago? GOD is doing some amazing things in my life right now. He has shown me that working in retail might be just what I’m supposed to be doing. I always say that if I hear it 3 times, the answer is coming from GOD. I’ve asked him if I’m on the right path right now and I’ve been told yes twice already. I’m still waiting for that third yes.

The path you set for yourself isn’t the path that may be right for you. It’s all GOD’s plan. What inspires you to follow your path? GOD’s path? Find your faith and follow GOD’s path.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58

I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. ~Psalm 16:8

Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. ~Joshua 1:9

I encourage you to not let other’s actions get you down. Don’t let their actions inspire you to stoop to their level, because it’s not worth it. In a world that is so bitter right now, find a way to be kind; just love.

There are so many little things we overlook in our lives, that we should really be thankful for. Perhaps, it looks like a coincidence, or something that could have happened anyway. However, God’s hands have often brought about those little things.

I have an exam coming up this week, and I work part time. I went to work today, with the burden of all the things I have to revise for my exam. While I was at work, I sat for only 45 minutes. I was then informed by a team manager that I had a lot of holidays left, would I like to use it. Of course, my answer was yes. So now, I have more time to revise.

This is a little thing, that I am very grateful for.

What is the little thing that you can be thankful to God for today?

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
