He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the earth, by clear shining after rain.
2 Samuel 23:3-4

God said that life here on Earth contains problems and struggles but still, He provides us a sanctuary that we can come to if ever we feel like giving up. This sanctuary provides us hope and strength where we can anchor our faith but the problem is, our anchor clings onto something else.
Alcohol. The most common thing where people put their faith on. Whenever we encounter problems that seems like we can not endure, we always look for alcohol hoping it will shoo our problems away. The sad thing is, this is our first option and God is second.
When we realized that alcohol will never help us, that's when we go to God when things are almost late.
Always remember that the best port where you can anchor your faith is God. Worldly things can not help you, only God can.

You always feed your stomach. How about your spirit, do you still feed it? It might be skinny right now.
Have you already experienced the time when you don't feel like doing things connected to God? (E.g. Bible study, devotion, your calling, etc.) If yes, it may be because you're eating too much junk food.
Healthy food gives us nutrients but junk food only satisfies our hunger and might cause chronic disease if eaten regularly.
If you mostly do worldly things, you will feel satisfied but in the end, you will feel drained.
Like surfing on social media too much. You always feel tiredness while scrolling on your social media newsfeed even though you aren't doing anything except lying in your bed, right? Hence, in the end, you also feel tired of doing other things including serving the Lord because your physical and mental state is already drained.
And that's the side effect of eating too much junk food. So don't over-eat it.
Doing Heavenly things is healthy for our spirit, junk food is fine but too much can cause sickness.
So what do you eat the most? Is it healthy?
John 4:34, "Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.""
