okay my last few six sentence sundays have been steinmarie so i'm gonna do some soma this week to mix it up. technically soma. this is older, but it's stuff i have drafted for the next chapter of Big Time which I haven't gotten around to figuring out (*emphatic sigh*). anyway. enjoy a little convo between Soul and his agent:

Soul rolls his eyes and takes a sip of the coffee he’d largely been neglecting for the last hour.

“If it’s not, I’m going to send Kimmy over to help you with it!”

He stills and lowers his coffee back to the table. “She’s not going back to LA with you?” he asks cautiously.

“Oh, right…” Blair replies absentmindedly, attention now on something happening on her phone, “…forgot to say, there’s been a little restructure at the agency. Kimmy is being promoted from my assistant to…oh, what were we calling it again?” She shoves her phone back in her purse and squints out the window, “Uber’s here! Took them long enough.”

“Wait, what do you mean ‘a little restructure'? Why’s Kim staying here?” he asks, anxiety on the rise.

“Look, all you need to know is that Kimmy is going to be helping out. We just thought that since both you and Jaqueline are on task here, it’d be the most efficient thing to do!”

“It sounds like you’re giving me a manager. And as I’ve repeatedly said, I don’t do managers.”

Blair laughs as she gets up and pushes her chair in. “As if Kimmy’d do you anyway…”
